Excellent home-cooked food. Very friendly.

My parents spend a lot of time at Bridge House Marina on their touring site so we joined them for a meal for my mums 60th birthday. The food was very good, atmosphere very relaxed with people eating or bobbing in for a quick drink after a dog walk (dogs welcome). We as a group of 10 visited for drinks and food. The service was fantastic and the ladies looking after us couldn’t have been any more accommodating. If you are in the area or visiting the touring and caravan site it’s well worth a visit.

Went for dinner last night as staying on the marina campsite, I had the chicken and leek pie, hubby had the chicken bacon and halloumi burger and our daughter had the 1/2 portion of cheeseburger and chips as she's only 5. Everything was super tasty! The pie came with cabbage and carrot and swede mash which was really nice as normally you tend to get peas, so I was really pleasantly surprised. The staff are so lovely and friendly and made a fuss of our daughter. Great selection of beers to hubby's delight, he had super 8 rouge, a cherry beer which he loved and I had the sauvignon blanc which was lovely. Loved it that much we came back to try the breakfasts and again we were not disappointed, the eggs Benedict was delicious, hubby had the full English and our daughter had pancakes with maple syrup. Highly recommend and will definitely be back soon. 👌🙂

Nice setting, pleasant staff, food can be inconsistent, one visit it's great, next not as good, also the toilets are grubby, apart from that I like visiting.

Just spent the weekend at the Bridgehouse Marina Caravan Park and what a welcome sight the Bridge 64 Cafe bar was. Lovely atmosphere, we had a few drinks after a walk round on Friday night and liked it so much we booked for evening meal last night. Food was superb, I had the beef stroganoff and hubby had chunky steak pie ....very nice. All staff really nice and friendly, well worth a visit. Looking forward to coming back next year!!

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the caravan park and the cafe was a very welcome addition. We went in every night for a drink and enjoyed a cooked breakfast on 1 morning. The menu was pretty good but alittle pricey, but they did do some special offers on meals. Hubby really liked the selection of craft ales and there was a good selection of wines too. The staff were warm and friendly and the entertainment on the thursday was great.

We are currently staying on the caravan site. We ate out for breakfast and I spoke to the chef about Gluten Free and he went through everything on the menu that I could have, he was fab. We booked a table for 8 3 couples and we all said the food was amazing and the service from the staff was also really good. Cant wait yo come back here :)

Love this bar! Fantastic service, always have a great laugh with the staff upon arrival and throughout my night! Delicious food - I ordered a chicken burger and chips and it was fabulous! The acoustic Thursdays are wonderful and great fun if you’re looking for some live entertainment. Highly recommend - Thanks Andy, Lizzie and the team for everything! Keep up the great work 👏

Called in today,ordered the hot roast beef barm even though it was it was a little before 11.30,im not a breakfast person,husband had the full english couldnt fault it( would have liked another slice of bacon but he is hard to please) loved the toast.The hot roast beef barm was gorg,proper thick slices of rost beef with an extra bowl of onion gravy to dip in,no extra charge for chips so value for money.The setting was lovely next to the marina and the service was 100%,will definantly return.Keep up the good work great to see a little cafe work hard

Ordered hot beef barm and chips for £9,the chips were hard and undercooked, the beef was very fatty,no mushrooms or onions,very basic with no butter on the barm.Sent the chips back and was not even offered any replacement. Service was poor,everything is overpriced for the standard of food. They deducted £1 from the bill for the chips...came away still hungry,very disappointed

Brilliant mid ride stop off. Very friendly and quick service. Excellent menu and fantastic food. Although the hot beef barm and chips was possibly too much to cycle home on! 😂 But well worth it!

A great cafe run by a great team. Negative reviews should be dismissed as these guys cannot do enough for you! Very friendly team who made a massive fuss over a very large Newfoundland aka Winnie!! Food was great as always and all tastes catered for - just ask the team and they will accommodate any requests where they can. We will be back again soon!

What a lovely cafe with absolutely fantastic food. Breakfast was amazing and dinner was unbelievable, I had the Goan curry which was full of flavour. My mum who is the most fussy person had steak ,I have never before seen her plate so empty. Thank you such a great experience.

Called in on the off chance, it had been recommended to us for a visit we not disappointed, lovely position and views, service excellent and staff friendly and helpful, we will definitely go again.

Popped in for a drink and to check the menu out. Friendly and helpful staff, and the chef will alter recipes if you have any intolerances or allergies. Reasonable prices, entertainment on Thursdays, and a nice friendly vibe. Will be back for food😊

Visited a few times during the past week. Good food and drink and great service throughout. Went to a music evening on Thursday which was excellent. Very friendly and dogs welcomed.

We visited with friends who have moved to Garstang. The food was excellent. My partner is Gluten free and they took the time to explain what was available and that they would adapt if possible other meals. The cakes where amazing. Lovely staff and a friendly atmosphere.

Lovely cafe on a rainy day. We are staying on the Bridge House Marina campsite so this is our 'local'. My husband had gone to work, the rain had finally stopped, and I decided to pop up to the cafe for some lunch. It was very quiet due to the weather, but the team was very welcoming. I had the Cauliflower and Stilton soup and a Latte. The soup was delicious, very tasty. Latte was nice and hot, just how I like it. Very dog freindly also, my 2 staffies appreciated the treats. Thank you, and I will be back.

A warm welcome by very professional staff. Quick service and excellent good quality food. We had lunch which was so good and tasty then the next day we had a full English Breakfast which was so good. We will definitely be back

Just had our first weekend away at our new boat. The Bridge 64 is perfect, lovely service from friendly local staff, nothing too much trouble, obviously well trained. Food was exactly what it said on the tin, a nicely cooked quality steak with proper chips, Mac n cheese very tasty Whats not to like? The place was busy adding a nice vibe to the whole evening. The bar has a great selection of lagers on tap and plenty of wines to choose from. Finally to the person who left the poor review about a prawn sandwich I recommend the Subway in the town centre & leave Bistro 64 to those who appreciate quality. Thank you we’ll be back👏👏👏

Been here a couple of times now and will be going more regularly. Today we indulged in eggs benedict both normal and vegan and pancakes with maple syrup and bacon washed down with Americano coffee. All delicious.

A lovely place to eat in a beautiful marina. The only thing to beat the scenery was the lovely food. I ordered the Southern fried chicken wrap that came with thick bacon and a delicious helping of creamy cheese inside the wrap. The beef barm and chips was equally appealing and both dishes were eaten in their entirety. What a lovely and lucky find.

Soon as I finished my breakfast wrap I needed to put a review up for the cafe, wow this is one of the best breakfasts I've had, food is amazing, fresh and good portion size, staff are friendly and welcoming.

Just enjoyed a fabulous Roast Beef Sunday lunch!! The beef was lovely and tender and all the veg cooked al dente and everything hot. Staff are all very friendly and professional. The owners Andy and his daughter deserve praise for an excellent bar restaurant with very competitive prices. Will definitely be coming back again soon!!

What a lovely place, set in pretty surroundings and serving yummy food with warm and friendly servers. We headed to Bridge 64 for breakfast before we had a long drive home and so wanted to fill our stomachs before we left and it did not...

We came across this place only because everywhere else seemed to be full. However, we will add it to our list of local establishments now after a very nice late lunch. Service was good and fast though there weren't many people in. The position near the canal is also good for nice walk before eating!

Excellent food service above and beyond very clear lovely view of the canal when not raining lol 😆 well worth a visit

We stayed at Bridgehouse Marina in our caravan and ate here a couple of times. We have been before and really like the food here. It's really lovely in the summer when you can sit outside. Dogs are welcome too both inside and out.

We visit Bridge 64 regularly and always enjoy the food, drink and setting. There is a lovely atmosphere and in particular today created by Amy who couldn’t do enough for us and to make us feel welcome.

I ordered the 'Vege Breakfast'. Food was perfectly cooked, nothing burnt nor underdone. Peppers in the breakfast, I dont think they belong there unfortunately. Provided tailored service to my needs, food delivered swiftly.

My son Googled this place to find a lovely restaurant it was right on the side of the canal would be a lovely place to visit in better weather as it was absolutely tipping it down and we had just made it in time for a late lunch. I attended this beautiful venue in August 2021 to enjoy the brilliance of an Artist called Belle Velvet - the place, the sound and the service were all exemplary - Baz - Director - The Band Man 11 Ltd

Really nice food we chose the special on a Friday fish chips & mushy peas , absolutely delicious had my grandson. With me they do chicken nuggets etc also do smaller portions for kids. The only thing that let it done service slow.

Sensational cooked breakfast, honestly it was the best I've ever had. The food was quality, the size was really large and it was piping hot. Even the plate was really hot which most places forget to do, makes a hell of a difference in keeping your food warm! The service was fantastic too, the staff were friendly, polite and the food came out really quickly. We'll be back another time for sure!

Well what can I say, incredible breakfast using the finest meat not this supermarket rubbish, a very warm welcoming we have been working at the marina the last few days saving the fish and we have been having breakfast and dinner throughout our stay been fantastic our evening meals have been really nice good size portions very tasty, thanks again 😀

I met my wife here for a quick mid week working lunch when we both happened to be in the area. We couldn't fault it. The service was quick, friendly and efficient and the food was excellent. We will definitely return.

This is an absolute gem of a place whether it's for a quick coffee and cake, a refreshing pint from their great selection of craft ales and ciders or a meal from their amazing menu. Something for everyone food wise, beautifully presented and delicious. This is a family run business based in the grounds of Bridge House Marina and Campsite and is an absolute credit to them, as are their friendly and attentive staff. Bonus if you are around most Thursdays in the busier season is the live music. Definitely recommend a visit for anyone visiting the area. P.S. they also do take away for those in a caravan who are looking for a lazy evening in with no pots to wash!

Went on Friday had the most delicious breakfast. All the food was cooked to perfection and of really high quality. Highly recommend. Staff friendly, lovely ambience.

Had a few days on the caravan site at Bridge House Marina (a repeat visit) and booked both the Fish and Chip Friday and Rib-Eye steak Saturday meals at Bridge 64 cafe. Warm welcome from the staff who are very hard working and extremely pleasant....

Called here while on holiday as been previously and the food was delicious. Obviously the original chef must have been on his/ her day off !! Not this time...... We had to wait over 40 minutes for our burgers and they were disgusting, greasy, overcooked...

Stopped on the campsite and had the fish and chips on Friday night and the full breakfast on the Saturday morning. Both meals were luvly and tasty. Visiting soon so will definitely book in again.

Just been for the steak night. Excellent. 2 steaks and z bottle of wine for £35. Best steak I’ve had in a restaurant for a long time. Great service. Lovely staff and a good atmosphere. Definitely recommend a visit.

Stumbled upon this little gem whilst viewing a boat for sale at the marina. Lovely food, great service by the owner who was friendly and knowledgeable and a good selection of real ales. A great, informal, friendly place to visit. Planning on returning very soon.

My husband and I regularly visit this location the food is fantastic we always go for the breakfast menu which they have also recently just added to staff are so attentive and dogs are allowed in.
