Bricks 'n' Mortar in County Durham

A lovely coffee shop. It’s spotlessly clean, and not too loud. I’ve been here twice, and on both occasions staff have gone out of their way to be helpful and friendly.

Lovely staff. Had tea and a cake. Would recommend the banana and biscoff cake toasted. They serve a selection of cakes and some savoury treats too.

If Brodies has a million fans I am one of them. If Brodies has ten fans I am one of them. If Brodies has only one fan then that is me. If Brodies has no fans, that means I am no longer on the Earth. If the world is against Brodies, I am against the world. Seriously though, everyone who works here is absolutely lovely, and they make a banging coffee. Sweet treats are amazing too, and their early bird discount is so good. Absolutely blessed that this is on my walk to work.

As a student I have basically lived in coffee shops and tried so many, and brodies is by far my favourite. The staff are welcoming, friendly and always down for a chat. The drink are lovely, even better with their student discount. Their food always hits the spot.
