Their coffee is the best I've had! Perfectly balanced. Can't wait to visit again - the cakes were really tasty too.

Never disappointed visiting here. Always a lovely selection of food, friendly staff, and some good vegan dessert choices when it comes to the cakes to have with a coffee. I recently opted for the vegan Banana, Walnut and Chocolate Chip cake and the biggest slice appeared, a very generous serving. And very delicious it was too. Will always recommend Bricks as it's a lovely place to go....

Expensive, miserable staff! The white hot chocolate was undrinkable, thick and gloopy and sickly, we left it. Won't visit again anytime soon!

Fantastic coffee, friendly helpful staff.

Lovely place, but I didn't eat, so i can't comment. Very clean, great staff. Tables were a bit too close for me, I found it hard to hear what people i was with were saying. Saying that, I would visit again.

Really lovely coffee shop. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Caramel Macchiato is definitely recommended also the chocolage orange brownie. Staff friendly and welcoming

Was going to order lunch for myself and my daughter but really needed the loo first . Could not believe they didn't have one ! On asking where the nearest one was , I was told quite sharply that it was in the main garden centre! Consequently we had lunch elsewhere.

Amazing experience as always. The staff are so welcoming and serve your every need with a smile. This creates a lovely atmosphere. The drinks and food superb too. Love this place

I usually go to the cafe a couple of times during the week as it is on my daily walking route . The latte is perfect , the lemon cake is excellent but too popular !!! . The staff are wonderful, very efficient and very friendly , happy pleasant atmosphere . It’s a pleasure coming here each time . Shame I am out of the country for 6 months of the year . Nice little place. Lovely staff. Sandwiches, I think, are well overpriced for what they were..two siimple cheese and ham no extras and a couple of standard coffees over £16.

My first visit to Bricks Coffee House was exceptional - the service was beautiful and the Mocha - gosh, the BEST I've ever had! From the moment we walked in, there is a warm and welcoming feeling, a place of comfort, fun and lovely energy. The ladies here are the sweetest. We're really grateful that we've found this place and it's now become a regular!

Love coming here. Staff are always so friendly and helpful. Had a lovely mid morning coffee outside last week. There are a number of tables outside for the warmer weather. I'd highly recommend this place for drinks, sandwiches and snacks.

Came to bricks with my family this weekend! Big outside seating area with brolleys which was great! Kids loved the milkshakes. Amazing coffee for us adults too! My daughter has a nut allergy so we was advised on not only nut free cakes but the servers favourite nut free cakes! The server was really helpful and informative when it came to ingredients in their cake supplies! We was informed that bricks is having a refurb in the coming weeks,personally I think it’s lovely already but looking forward to the changes! Thankyou as always

A warm friendly welcome on a Monday morning. We visit Bricks every Monday with a group of friends! The staff are always friendly and very efficient. A big selection of cakes to choose from, and always amazing coffee. Thankyou girls!

We stopped here on the way back from our travels needing coffee and washrooms. We ordered our coffee and then asked for the toilets. Imagine our surprise when we were directed to the Garden Centre next door. As we had already paid for our coffees we had no choice but to return. Such a shame as the coffee and cakes were really nice. Checked up on this situation and apparently places have to offer toilets if there is seating provided for 10 + people which there definitely was. At least a notice could be put in the window before people go in.

Just a very good coffee shop. Larger inside than it looks from the road, seating about 50 inside with an outdoor seating area (in the sun, weather permitting) of about another 20 people. All the usual hot/cold and soft drinks, cakes, buns, sandwiches and baguettes...

We live local and was looking for somewhere out of town for a coffee and cake. We stopped here (next to nottcutts garden centre) and had hot drinks and cake. This is a smallish place so selection was limited. The main disappointment here though is...

Took my aunt out to celebrate her 91st birthday. I wheeled her around Notcutts garden centre to smell the roses, then up the ramp to Bricks for coffee and cake which was brought to our outside table (too nice a day to be inside, though that looked nice too).

Great coffee shop which really looks after you. Good quality drinks served at table. Did not eat food but it looked good.

I went for coffee with my carer and was impressed by this independent coffee shop, firstly there are a good number of disabled parking bays which as I'm in a wheelchair is very useful, secondly although the entrance is on a raised pathway there is a fairly gentle slope that makes it easy to get to the shop. Not only is there seating inside but also outside, which we took advantage of as it was a nice sunny day. The Coffee and the service were both good and at no point did I feel pressured to vacate our table. I would certainly recommend over many of the large chain coffee shops locally

I called in here for a quick coffee on Tuesday and after,ordering my drink they said they had no change and could I pay by card and this was at 09:30 am. What happens when they get busy? , after my drink I asked about the toilets and was told the only ones they have are round in the garden centre which is not a mean feat if your were in a hurry.

Great to go to a coffee shop where they serve good quality to your table. No waiting at counter. Friendly efficient staff.

Visited bricks today, not for the first time. Staff are friendly and actually bring your coffee over for you unlike other similar shops in the area, coffee is lovely and the place is kept nice and clean. Nice that you can sit outside in the sun and parking is free. Loos are in the garden centre but its not that much of a walk. I will visit again soon!

I visit Bricks Coffee House a few times a year when I'm in the area visiting friends and family, and I always feel welcome and relaxed. The staff are always really friendly and the coffee and hot chocolates always taste great. I particularly love popping in at Christmas for a rest after present shopping - it's always decorated so nicely and feels so cosy!

Stopped for coffee, cake, and a well earned rest. Glad i did. The staff are friendly, the coffee great, and the edible treats are just too tempting. I normally sit indoors, and enjoy the peace with a newspaper, but i chose to sit outside. The weather was gorgeous, and i had time to kill.its nice to sit and watch the world go by. I often pop in, when ive been shopping in the garden centre. The staff, are very friendly, and obliging, and nothing is too much trouble. The premises are always clean, tidy, and welcoming. 10/10.

My first ever visit, in the area & wanted to try it out rather than the nearby (also very) average Costas.

Only go if you are desperate.also there is no loo Tried a cold coffee , called a frappe. It was bitter and full of ice. Not nice My husband said his coffee was ok. Had a custard tart that was tasteless .expensive

I go here on a regular basis to catch up with old work colleagues, it is cosy and relaxed atmosphere and the staff are very friendly.

I visited here recently and had coffee plus cake. Lovely coffee however the cake just tasted of nothing! It looked great and was so disappointed!

Make a point of visiting if you are at the Newnham Court garden centre (Notcutts) as this small coffee place is in the same complex and yet is separate and much more pleasant to take a break in.

Popped in at 10am for a quick catch-up with a friend. Plenty of parking and quick and friendly service. Nice to be able to sit in the coffee bar area away from the speakers so it was easy to talk.

I visited here with my husband on 01-02-16. We wanted coffee and a sandwich for lunch. My husband had a tuna & cucumber baguette, and mine was cheese & tomato. My baguette was wet, and was sitting on a plate of water, rendering it soggy and tasteless. I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food, and even more disappointed with the price. Two plain Americano coffees and two baguettes were almost £13! Disappointed. Definitely won't be returning.

The coffee here is very very good. Same price as the large chains for a flat white and I would say better quality. When served I made more effort to converse than the girl who served me. No thank you when taking payment which I really don't like. However, she took my order and then did say she would bring it over which was a nice touch. Biggest downside is there is no Wi-Fi. Daily I pop in to a coffee house to have a drink and something to eat and answer emails. Being unable to do this will definitely stop me coming back here. With Costa over the road and free Wi-Fi on tap, and a loyalty card on offer. I shall go there. Shame, as Bricks has a lot of potential. Would have been 4 star with the Wi-Fi.

Average everything. Average quality not bad not particularly great. Average pricing, a little bit expensive but I have seen worse. Get ever so busy with the noise decibels are sometimes hard to take, no WiFi. The only saving grace is that the parking is free so it is a good place to do paper work/work on the go.

Excellent coffee house, with a great latte. Very friendly staff and prompt service. The bathroom is a little walk away but again clean and accessible.

I popped in here recently for coffee and was tempted by the chocolate slice. It looked delicious howeve was tasteless and I had two bites. It's a shame as it looked so good and wasn't cheap!

Flat White coffee is the best I have ever had. Always have a large one too. Food always very good. Ladies who serve there always have a smile, and always thank you for coming

As an independent code shop, it's trying to be a Costa and has pretty much succeeded.

The staff at Bricks coffee house always say hello and smile when you walk through the doors. If they are busy they apologise for keeping you waiting. Nothing is too much trouble. The salted caramel syrup is especially nice. I use the coffee shop probaly twice a week and at weekends and have recommended this to friends and family who now use it as it more relaxed than Costa coffee nearby and other coffee shops. The prices are also reasonable compared to other coffee shops, i think there should be more smaller and more personable coffee shops like this.

My family often visit this coffee shop and find it clean and comfortable with a relaxing atmosphere. Very nice coffee and delicious cakes.

Me and my partner regularly visit this coffee shop as they do always do a lovely coffee & milkshakes in the summer sadly we visited today on a Sunday afternoon our regular coffee stop and were greeted by Katie to be honest she wasn't horrid but avoided all eye contact didn't really come across friendly when we said we actually wanted our coffees to take away today she wasn't very impressed as you could tell in her voice and to be honest we left to say dissapointed we don't expect to be treated like king and queens but we do consider good service eye contact a smile it's the little things that keep you coming back we love this coffee shop but today we left with a bad taste in our mouths

Never been in here before but regular visitors to Newnham Court. Saw a sign outside saying something "Try our new Salted Caramel collection" with a picture of coffees and some sort of chocolate or fudge flooded with caramel. Once inside i asked about the new Salted Caramel collection and the waitress said there were two caramel coffees available. I asked about the other items in the caramel collection and was given an arrogant "there isn't anything else". I showed her the sign outside and she said "well that's just an advert". I was assuming "Caramel Collection" meant something different or in addition to what any other coffee house can provide but apparently not. Disappointed i walked out with my wife and looked at the sign again commenting on it and another member of staff approached to see what the problem was and she was just as arrogant and obnoxious and actually walked off and left us there.

I've been here about ten times since it opened. The food is mostly cakes, sandwiches and cookies. However, it is a very nice place and the staff are always lovely and helpful. I've never been here and had a bad experience and find it of a very high standard. It's lovely to go for a coffee in a non-chain establishment. I absolutely love going here.

Yes, the prices were slightly cheaper than a chain shop. But the girls working in there averaged age 16, did't seem to know what they were doing. Placed my order, hovered to wait and nothing came, went and sat down, saw other orders being made placed after mine.

The staff are always friendly and helpful. The coffee is always good and there of plenty of cakes and panini's to choose from. Excellent little coffee shop.

We love bricks coffee house!!..it's a great place to catch up with friends and the coffee is always excellent! My 4 year old loves going there for cupcakes and then to see the animals in notcutts pet centre. It's a very clean coffee shop, a nice atmosphere and friendly staff..shame it doesn't have toilets tho!

We have been to Bricks coffee shop many times and have never been disappointed, the coffee is excellent as is the food. We love the continental atmosphere and when the weather is nice we really enjoy sitting outside.

What an excellent little coffee shop easy to get to and with free parking, so much better that going to Costa at Tesco's or the dairy only machine coffee (yuk) you get next door in the Notcutt's cafe. The service is good and efficient. They do Soya, but don't do Pannetone, so we have to settle for Tea Cakes (no equivalent, really).

A good place to enjoy a variety of drinks,tea, coffee,chocolate and a selection of sandwiches or a indulgent cake with friends and there added benefit of somewhere to park for free

Before this place came along, the main thing I looked forward to during a trip to Notcutts was going home. I hate gardens and garden centres, but found myself suggesting a trip there when my Mum was staying with us purely because I knew there would be really nice cake at the end of it.

Visited her a couple of times with family whilst in the area and it has been very pleasant with good coffee and food, they have an extensive variety of drinks my favourite is toffee caramel latte.

I wouldn't rate this coffee house any more than one of the chain types, and quite frankly cannot understand the glowing reviews on here.

... that serves a range of hot and cold drinks, The selection of pastries and cakes looks fantastic and the few I've tried were delicious but probably bad for you!
