Brewski Sheffield in Sheffield

Food is definitely American comfort food very close to what I can get back home. Its a bit pricey for the burgers, but they were good.

Been sharing there food on Facebook for over a year finally got to Brewski 16-3-24 food ok . Think we should have had the steak or a couple of meats had the OG sharing platter loads of carbs too many flavours going on . Bought for two could have fed 4 , certainly not tight on the amount but loads of carbs for £70 . Next time we go big steak I think better luck next time , bit awkward with the eating time slot . Like a relaxed meal not a 100 m sprint . Or the fact I had cooking bags of coals or whatever they where behind my seat not a good health x safety especially on a Saturday night 🤔

I was overall disappointed in the food. The pictures on social media are amazing, yet the menu didn't really reflect them, and the prices are pretty high for what you get. It was OK, but I wouldn't rush back to go again.

This is now mine and my husbands favourite place to eat. The food was out of this world. It wasn’t a long wait either which was great. The staff were so nice and with it being our first visit they were so helpful. Explained everything in detail. And I’m a very anxious person when visiting new places, but they made me laugh, feel relaxed and made me feel at ease which was lovely. Me and my husband was so full after this sharing platter I couldn’t face a dessert, however on our return I will definitely be taking one home. Honestly what a fabulous place. Please bring a brewski to Rotherham 🥰

Honestly I was really hyped up to try this place and just felt let down by the food. It wasn't anything special and I feel was overpriced

We came at lunchtime, so the menu seemed limited. However, there was still a good amount to choose from. I had the bone marrow and truffle burger with parmesam fries, and my fried had the lamb tacos with parmesam fries. The food was nice. However, I personally found the burger quite salty. We also had the creme egg profiteroles. The price for lunch is quite substantial. In addition, an optional 10% service charge is automatically added to your bill. After saying this, our server did make it clear the additional 10% was optional.

The only word I can use to describe Brewski Sheffield is FANTASTIC. From the first step through the door to leaving, the whole experience was amazing. This was also helped by the fantastic service we received from the Mark, the manager who was waiting on as they were a couple of staff members down. I can't put into words the brilliant time we had there. All the food we ordered (and there was quite a lot) was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The flavour of meats on offer was amazing. All the staff looked happy to be at work and were so friendly and chatty. Don't get me wrong, this isn't the cheapest place to go and dine out, but it has to be one of the best I've ever been to, and we will definitely be making a return visit. I can highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks to all the staff for making our time at Brewski unforgettable.

Honest opinion, it’s overrated. The food was ok but nothing to bang on about.

Was looking forward to eating here but to be honest, the food isn’t that amazing. It’s not bad, but it’s just average - yet the prices are more than average. I don’t actually mind paying almost £20 for a burger when said burger is worth it. Also got charged for a tiny dip. They also automatically add a service charge on as well as a donation on to the bill.

Just been to Brewski for an anniversary lunch.. easy online booking, straight in on arrival, complimentary drinks for our anniversary. We had one of the sharing platters and the food was delicious. It's 6 hours later now and I'm still absolutely stuffed!! We will definitely be going back and couldn't say a bad word about our experience.

Amazing food and atmosphere, Mark was an amazing server, just felt like should be individually tipped as the service charge for everyone wasn't needed as Mark was the only one who really took care of us, he deserves a raise and tip, cheers for the recommendation on the rolo cheesecake

Great choice of food, we've been a few times and love that the menu changes regularly. Food is beaut and always leave with a doggy bag as portions are very very good!

Amazing food, the best I've had in a long time.well worth a visit good value for money and some amazing platters and dishes, desserts and drinks. I came from derby to Sheffield just to visit this restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful I will definately be going again

Not bad, but the food looks better than it tastes. I had the chicken poutine and, while it was nice, it was very 'samey' after a few bites and I was quickly bored of it. Watch out for added charges on your bill - service fees and 'eco dining fees'!

A meal of mixed opinions at Brewski This place wows with big flavours and portions and is a real comfort food treat. The massive grazing boards are something of legend, and they also serve up loaded fries, poutine, burgers, burritos and tacos. I couldn't help but wonder if things have slipped a little recently as the food was still great but I felt it had a lack of care and attention in places. 🧀🥩 We chose nachos to start that sounded incredible. Pulled beef , with a boursin sauce and n'duja. It was served in a small chipped bowl, the pulled beef was nice but the nachos were nothing to write home about and the n'duja and boursin was absent. Instead a regular tasting cheese sauce was under the meat. 🥩🧄🦐🍟for the main I chose steak loaded garlic butter fries with prawns. The steak and prawns was perfect and the garlic fries were delicious but so salty I couldn't eat many at all- and I'm a person that likes salt. 🍔🍟My partner ordered The Bear burger with bacon and this was absolutely delicious. Charred juicy burgers were spot on and I can honestly say this is the best burger either of us have tasted in a while. 🧀James also ordered the Mac and cheese side which was fantastic with a smoked cheese flavour coming through. Service was great and feedback was politely given. Our waitress said she would tell the chef but he didn't listen to her 🙈 as we were the 3rd person in 3 days to say how salty the garlic fries were. 💯 We would still cautiously recommend Brewski, for delicious comfort food, but highly recommended the burgers and Mac and cheese , and if they eased up on the salt the steak fries would be perfect too!

Brilliant mouth watering food relaxed atmosphere and great service ☆☆☆☆☆

This is my 2nd visit but won't be my last. We went on a Monday afternoon so it was relatively quiet. Food was amazing, some things seem expensive but the portion sizes are huge so worth the money. My hubby even had room for dessert! Server was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended this place 👌

Most overrated place to eat ever. Foods not brilliant but its nice. All the staff are super super super lgbtq n over the top with absolutely everything. 10% service is an absolute joke considering they’re doing the job they get paid to do, wouldnt say you get exceptional service for the service tip they demand. Had to fetch me my drink back 3 times because they got it wrong everytime. I only ordered a pepsi no ice.

Fantastic service from the manager and all the staff. We spoke to 5 different members of staff who looked after our party of 4, with 1 allergy, 2 additional babies on the side. Delicious food, very impressed with the menu selections and rotation. 100% recommended and will return again happily

We came last year but forgot to review! This place is like no other. Fully loaded food and fully loaded with flavour. You wont leave hungry and you will most likely leave with a takeaway bag of food since the portion sizes are HUGE!! Sharing platter was amazing and super filling! Burgers dripping with flavours and meats falling apart on your forks. We will be coming back and smashing the sharing platter next time

Very pricey for average food, service was rubbish almost like we wasn't welcome. Waiter couldn't crack a smile and was funny about us asking for no onions on a burger due to allergies. Tables are incredibly close together. Just an all round poor experience and will not return.

Went as a table of 7. Order garlic steak & fries, ordered pink, this thing was still running about on the plate and it wasn't that warm at all. Been wanting to try this chain for a long time, didn't feel value for money. And don't think I'd return. Before desert came out, the waiter brought the spoons out, holding the part that goes in yer mouth. Since getting home from Sunday evening, I've been in bed since and not eaten a thing. I'm not sure if this is related to the luke warm steak or not, or just a coincidence?

Food was amazing now on top of my list of laces to eat. Staff was amazing had a good chat and laugh. Would recommend 👌 will be going again soon.

The location is amazing, quick to get to. The food is very average, I mean taste wise, it's nothing special at all, hardly any spices or herbs, so like most English meats =bland. Value some things were worth the money, but some really not. Like 5 prawns for over 11 pounds is ridiculous! Staff was nice enough. the service was quick! Desserts were nice 7/10 The cocktails are very unique! 10/10

We saw an advert for the Yorkshire Pudding fondue sharing platter, and with my birthday coming up, we booked to give it a try. The food was amazing, a huge platter of chicken, steak, potatoes, pork belly and sausage wrapped in crispy bacon, with a yorkshire pudding filled with cheese sauce each. Wow! My wife had the vegetarian burger which was very good, and we finished sharing biscoff profiteroles and sticky chocolate pudding between three of us. It is a little pricey, and they do had a voluntary service charge of 10% automatically to the bill which I am not a fan of. Other than that, I cant fault the place.

Food is good, BUT its massively overpriced. 4 of us came to just under £200. That was a combination of burger and wraps. £200 !!!! Not worth it. So won't be returning. And the £0.99p charge for a tree is ridiculous.

Staff were extremely friendly from the minute we walked in. Atmosphere was brilliant. Food was amazing, actually ended up being too much (had to take 3 takeaway boxes home). I’d definitely recommend coming on an empty stomach 😭 Very expensive but worth it.

Over rated, expensive and vile food. Ended up with food poisoning after visiting this place and spending over £100 on a meal that was just disgusting and the worst we’ve ever had. Contacted management the next day to discuss and they have been stringing us along with a food poisoning investigation for the past 4 months with no final outcome. Also they add a service charge onto the bill so beware, we paid without fully registering it. Would not visit here again and highly recommend going elsewhere unless you want to be severely un well the next day and have a restaurant not take any responsibility.

A massive menu to choose from. I picked the burrito and it was massive- it could’ve quite happily fed a family of four. Super tasty and filling.

Me and my boyfriend went for a meal, steak was uncooked and gave my boyfriend food poisoning, customer service was shocking when I complained about the food the waiter did nothing but roll his eyes and walked off will not be going back and definitely do not recommend

Good food, great setting... Lovely meet and greet...the irritating part came with the bill, where our server brought the bill and said our till automatically puts on a 10% tip... They also charge you 99 so they can plant a tree.... A company of that size should be able to plant a 99p tree, without charging the customer and the assumption of a tip is ridiculous... Won't be returning due to this.

Came here on a busy Friday night and the food & service was fantastic! From start to finish we enjoyed every moment and all of the staff we encountered couldn't have been more friendly! The lady that first greets you when you walk in was so pleasant and she instantly put us in a great mood. Food is expensive but the portion sizes are huge and the cocktails are delicious!

Service was quick and staff very friendly, food came out quickly, was hot and tasty, put 4 star for food as burger was very greasy meaning the bottom of the bun was soggy. Atmosphere was good but a bit echoey

Without Doubt best burger iv ever eaten, The Bear Burger. It turned a lads day out into a quiet picnic because the food was that amazing people stopped talking. Would definitely go again.

Came here for our anniversary meal and whilst not cheap, the food is great quality and the portion sizes are huge! Our server Leanne was very chatty and informative but also left us to enjoy our evening together. She's one of the best servers we've ever come across and we could see she was brilliant with her team, too. Overall, a lovely evening :)

The Sunday roast fondue was one of the best meals we have ever had. Everyone needs to try before you die. Great service too. Loved it!!

Amazing, worth the 160 mile round-trip

Nice food, cheesy and spicy definitely very filling. Desserts are okay but nothing special. The service is good and fast, and the staff is kind and polite. The atmosphere although nice is a bit loud as the place is always busy.

Wanting to try this place for a while. Booked last night and was really underwhelmed. We had the lamb nachos which were really small for the cost and while tasty they weren't very warm. For main I had the beef Wellington tacos and again was very underwhelmed. The meat was nice but it was very basic. The cocktails I had I didn't really enjoy but the espresso martini was really good. It was bust so service wasn't amazing received someone else's bill to start with and then when we got our bill there was an extra cocktail on there and a pint that never arrived. Probably wouldn't go again there are better places to eat in Sheffield without the high price tag

The atmosphere is nice enough, the food is average in my opinion. You're better off going to Five Guys if you want a burger. Better tasting, less greasy, salty and more bang for your buck. Check your bill! Added service charge, okay fine. Added donation, what the hell! Added fee for a little pot of tomato sauce!!! Now that is outrageous. Won't be returning due to that fact. Save yourself some coin and go to Wetherspoons where you can get a beer and a burger for less than a tenner, and have all the ketchup you want, and guess what? It's free!!!!

Wouldn’t recommend to even my worst enemy, unless they need to lose weight then it is a perfect place to go. Myself and my boyfriend contracted food poisoning and were extremely ill the night after eating here. I lost 3/4 of a stone after being ill for a week straight. I was in instant pain with my stomach after eating, I thought I’d over ate but by that evening I obviously discovered that wasn’t the case! Then the customer service after this experience was absolutely appalling, passing the blame on to other food you’ve eaten previously, even though me and my boyfriend had eaten completely different things the day before and morning before we came here. The doctors reports from tests I had done clearly tie it to their food being the cause also. I’m not the only person that has been ill after visiting here, I’ve heard from many friends that they know of people having the same issue from this place. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. The food isn’t anything special when considering how expensive it is. The staff overall were quite rude. It took over 5 minutes to be seated in a quiet time even though I said my friends were already here and could find them myself, they made us wait whilst making a bunch of drinks to walk us to the table. The service was extremely slow and it wasn’t even a busy time, we waited 20+ minutes for the bill before we just got up and walked to go pay as we were sick of waiting. 10/10 do not recommend at all. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had and for such a big chain, it’s frankly embarrassing.

Really nice food, alot of effort in the presentation of all the dishes and plenty of taste to go with it. Not your average restaurant. They do things different and other restaurants need to take notice. The Menu changes every so often so it is exciting to see what they come up with next. 100% need to try Brewski if you haven’t already. I travel from Nottingham to get to brewski Sheffield and it’s totally worth it .

Had a great time here last night with my friends, the food was lovely and the service was amazing, all the staff we saw were great but the one that stood out most was James, he was great at his job and made our experience a memorable one so we will definitely be coming back! Top man

Really disappointing. Came for an early lunch last week. Fries are super soggy and when mixed with the gravy, end up being a wet mess. Partner had crispy beef poutine, which tasted floury. The burrito I had was okay but lettuce instead of rice (the reasoning given is that the lettuce means the sauce doesn't run down your arm (?) doesn't work; lettuce is cheaper, presumably. On menu cocktail was 95% ice and ridiculously hard to drink (had to wait for it to melt) but the off menu whiskey sour was really good. Service was great, if a little overly enthusiastic, to be honest. Not keen at all on the 10% service charge added for all sized parties, it should be for four plus seatings only, or at least a reduced percentage for couples. Didn't mind enough to ask for it to be removed but also feel like people would probably want to avoid the awkward position of asking for it to be removed, especially when being asked directly whether to keep it on or not. Which is probably what Brewski intend. Overall, far too expensive for what it is. Wouldn't return.
