Brewers Fayre in Coventry

I ordered the smothered chicken burger and it was not smothered at all!! Tasted average, the burgers they sell at the cinema nearby and much more tastier and cheaper! The coleslaw was a small portion so were the chips. Waitress was not bothered and was being rude and told me she did not know how long it would take. Also, she gave me a fizzy J2O when i asked for still. Rubbish cheap food they charge a fortune for should bring back Taybarns

Went here today with my daughter and 3 grandchildren for lunch during half term. What a disappointment and would not go back again. Portion sizes are small, think i counted 10 chips on my plate. Food was not hot, was barely warm. When we told the waitress she said " well you are sitting near the air conditioning unit". Food had only just been served. She did say she could try and find a manager as she didnt deal with complaints. We didn't bother, let the kids play and left.

Warm welcome. Busy but comfortable.Fast service. Delicious food. Attentive service. Good value for money.

Went here for family celebration. Quite a big group of nearly 20 people. Those who had carvery were all disappointed. Gravy was like water, too runny. Those who picked up their own food off the menus was ok. Thought the value for carvery was too much £9.99 which included tomato soup. However plenty of staff who were very busy.

Just paid neatly £19 for a shared platter and 2 soft drinks...the platter was sparse to say the least not good value for money will not be eating there again

Booked a table for 5.30pm as was visiting the cinema nearby. Two of us ordered off the daytime menu, which you can order off between 12-6pm and get two meals for £8.99!

We came as a group of 5 friends and sat down and ordered. 1 main came out then the others took 20 minutes to arrive meaning one guest had finished his meal before the others had arrived. When the other food came it was missing a side order which then took another 10 minutes to come out. Food was overpriced (11 quid for a burger) which was very overcooked and very Bland tasting. Waitresses seemed not interested to help and did not apologise for the poor service. Would never go back as you can have a better meal for half the price at a harvester.

We visited as a family as we were staying in the Premier Inn next door.

We visited with our 3 children age ranging from 2years to 22 years! Our youngest played before we ate in the children's play area which he absolutely loved! We ate from the daily value meals and the food was piping hot and absolutely delicious! All staff members were extremely friendly & helpful. We will definitely be back again

Cheap and clean good service, reasonable choice quiet easy to be seated was having kitchen refitted so better than take away

Back again and another good meal, Only reason I didn’t give 5* was because my steak was more rare and than medium rare, very minor I know but still. Everyone else’s meals was great We will be back

Saturday evening meal with friends.

Came in for breakfast this morning and was greeted by Steph who was very friendly and happy! She was a nice person to talk to and asked us about our day and our plans. There was another chap on as well but didn’t quite catch his name who was also nice and friendly.

Friendly service with reasonably priced menu visited on a weekday and was not that busy. Service was quick and staff very polite and attentive. Normally don’t order burgers but went for burger and chips reasonable portion size and tasted very good. Would definitely return

I ordered the cluck and ale burger. Which looks great on the menu the burger I received was nothing like the menu as my pictures show.

I was working away on business so looking for a quick reasonably priced meal, which was what is on offer at Brewers Fabre. My starter (pate) came really quickly and was fine. I had to wait a further 20 mins for my main course, which when it came was only just warm. I sent it back and it was ok when it was returned. Food is very reasonably priced, however I would rather pay a bit more for a better quality meal.

Stayed at the Premier Inn next door and went in here for breakfast. As we approached, two people (Jackie and a guy) ran towards us and both offered a friendly greeting thank you. We ended up being looked after by Jackie who was very polite, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Settled for the continental breakfast option which was fine. Would definitely eat here again if only for the friendly staff.
