Brewdog in Southampton

This place serves great beer and great food! The staff are fantastic, especially Jim whom served us, his hospitality was exceptional. Keep up the great work guys! 👍🏻

Love the place, always come here for the £13 unlimited wings on wednesdays!

I was excited thought it was more like a restaurant but it’s a bar. The food is ok, but not amazing, not a lot of flavor. We went on the all you can eat wings day. Not impressed really

I had a reservation but walked out before even ordering our meal. The benches are all ripped with the sponge exposed. all windows greasy and dirty. No one came to see us or sit us but then a member of staff just popped out from the kitchen. This member looked tired and untidy. Staff were non existent. We were at the table sat for a while and no one was behind the bar or to be seen. The tables were greasy with finger prints. The menus again were all greasy and dirty. Very poor hygiene and not a pleasant environment at all. Wouldn't eat here

Lovely bar with atmosphere but appalling customer service (visited in Dec 23). Forgotten items on order, so had to reorder and pay then wait for the rest of the food. The 'Manager' on shift then made several sarcastic marks rather than giving a genuine apology and proceeded to argue with the table. Food was average and expensive for what it is.

Hadn’t been in since 2016 but delighted to see it had retained it’s character and atmosphere. The young lady behind the bar was ever so polite and welcoming (enjoy your Saturday off!!) and the local regulars also chatted away. Hopefully back sooner next time!

Booked a table of 7 for a special occasion. Beer was good. Food order was completely messed up. One member of staff must have gone to the Fawlty Towers school of charm 🥺 Go for a pint but other fine eateries are available in abundance!!!!

A perfect place to enjoy IPA beer

We had lunch at Brewdog on Saturday. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The choice of food was great and it was all delicious ! There was plenty of choice of beers to suit all our tastes. Will definitely be visiting Brewdog again!

So I ordered delivery, the food was good, onions rings were abit bland and dripping oil, fries were good and burger was very good. However, £10 for the smallest can of cocktail I’ve seen? That’s taking the piss! The meal wasn’t worth £42

It's the right place to have some good pub food and enjoy decent beers. I love the Hoppy meal, it's such a good value for money. And I like that you can order from the table just scanning the QR code and choosing from the online menu. Service is pretty fast and friendly too.

We came here for an evening meal and were greeted by a really nice chap who was very helpful and no-nonsense! We were advised on the best spot to sit as there was a large booking coming in. This was my first time at a BrewDog restaurant and I was thoroughly impressed. The Cluck Norris burger (what a name) I had was delicious, so full of flavour and enormous! Overall the food and drink was very reasonably priced and the atmosphere was great. Good choice of music too.

The seitan option was very nice and the other two were okay... not too happy with the batter! I never had chicken wings with batter ...not bad but definitely would be better without sadly there isn’t an option to no have them battered. Great selection of drinks and very friendly staff so other than the chicken wings not being great everything else was good. I would still recommend it.

I recently visited BrewDog in Southampton on a tour of the south west Brewdogs and Jim at this bar really made my visit brilliant. He was chatty, helped with my badge requests and you can tell he enjoyed his job. I'll definitely return for a longer drinking session in the evening when hopefully there are more people in (I was there early afternoon) and it might be busier.

What great beer and top micro style bar.

Sadly, not great. We booked for 'Wings Wednesday' Took nearly 40 minutes and two trips to the bar to remind the staff we were waiting to order before our first order was taken. The wings also weren't great. Deep fried to death and the coating was way too thick. Anyway we finished and waited to order more. And waited. And waited. And had to go to the bar again to ask to place another order. It was by no means busy and the staff, whilst pleasant were not very attentive nor seemed to be very busy and several other tables were also left for long periods too. Beers were nice but at close to £6 a pint, rather pricey! May pop in for a quick drink but wouldn't chose to stop long due to prices and definitely wouldn't eat there again. Overall, disappointing.

I do like the beer, especially as they nearly always have 20 odd different beers to choose from and a massive fridge selection. The burgers are good but they do slather on the bbq sauce! Chicken wings are a bit steep price wise when you can get unlimited wings for £11 on a Wednesday but again, they are nice. Overall a very good pub with nice atmosphere and with nice beers. Staff are all very nice and friendly

Went for drinks and stayed for dinner! My Cluck Norris burger was over fried but everything else was great, especially the new Korean bbq fries.

Punk IPA being my favourite beer makes this place a easy choice. The fact they serve amazing vegan burgers that are 2-4-1 on Mondays makes it so much better. Certainly one of the most tastiest vegan burgers I’ve ever had.

This pub quickly became my favourite bar in Southampton. The staff all have immaculate service with a friendly and professional touch. They often remember your tasting preferences and suggested the best beers for you accordingly! I really appreciate the personal touch that they have with their costumer service, as well as their comprehensive knowledge of the menu! The food is delicious, the vibes are chill. I 100% recommend giving Southampton Brewdog a visit.

Exceptionally dissatisfied with service at brewdog Southampton. Booked in for wings Wednesday, but didn't specify there for wings Wednesday on the reservation. I understand that was a mistake on our part and that we couldn't have the unlimited wings, but the barman was so unapologetically patronising and blunt, that it was just an unpleasant interaction. Even before the issue of the wings came up, the barman was unfriendly and seemed more interested in trying to impress the barmaid than act in a friendly manner. He really didn't seem interested in discussing the beers, and made me feel like I was inconveniencing him with the limited questions I asked. I've been to brewdog pubs in different countries and this is the worst customer experience I've had in any of them. Really disappointing to be spoken to like that.

Always have a good time here. Good beer and good service. Also has lots of vegetarian options.

Suitably laid back and relaxing together with some potent drinks available makes this place a welcome choice from the thumping music hum drum of the city centre. A welcome get away from the “strip” of Above Bar cocktail venues. A connoisseur’s delight.

Met with some friends for pizza and beer. Great atmosphere, excellent food, really good drinks! Definitely worth a visit. Our server, Ashley, was amazing - gave us excellent recommendations and just generally outstanding service. Will definitely be returning for another round of cauliflower wings and a sour pint!!

Excellent beer and very dog friendly, great selection of beers we tried a few and couldn't find one we didn't like. The Tuesday night quiz is also great fun, the staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable about the beers and friendly,. What's not to like great place.

I love that the full burger menu has been introduced since I last came and the drinks offer is nice and varied. A small baby changing area would be ideal in a drop down table space upstairs as I don't think the toilets are equipped with this just yet.

Beer and cidre is okay but for the price... The staff are rude (in particular the guy with the dark hair) and need to do some form of couse on customer service. £6 for a pint and they talk to the dogs better than paying customers. Do better.

4/5 not 5/5 because... Visited yesterday for a meal and drink, lovely atmosphere and the staff were friendly quick. food wise it as good did enjoy. the music not all to my taste but eh. Now I didn't want to comment but upon ordering our food we did spot a dogs bowl up on the counter which was handled without gloves.(almost told him to go wash his hands before serving our drinks) I love dogs but they are not always the most hygienic. this put me off and I know if a food safety inspector was there this would have lost them a rating. please have tighter regulations in place for handling these types of items as I do not want dog slobber around/in my food/plates drinks.

Good pints and music. Anywhere that plays 4 Weezer songs in a night goes in my good books.

Came for Wings Wednesday, wings hadnt been marinated prior to breading / frying so underneath a layer of batter / buffalo sauce you'd taste a horrible chemically taste, all 5 of us in my party noticed it. Shame as I've had the Buffalo Chicken burger before which was really really good!

Tried the buffalo wings , nice , but not nice vomiting them back up , party of 5 ..all sick and bad 🍗🤮

Frist time ordering food tonight through a delivery app and omg the food is unreal ... supper tasty and high quality a little pricey but you certainly get what you pay for hear

Great experience. Bar staff was very helpful. Menu has definitely improved since last visit too! So the kitchen has moved away from pizzas and now do the well known brewdog burgers. Looking forward to coming back already.

I really liked their craft beer but the venue is boring. A new decoration is needed I think.

My husband and I came here on a whim while vacationing from America on our honeymoon. We we’re absolutely amazed and blown away by the quality of the food and beer we received. Amazing beer! And THE BEST BURGER I’VE EVER HAD!!!! We split the Pork and Brie burger and my lord it was amazing I will forever remember this amazing burger. 10/10 guys you really did great.

Shared a beer tasting class with cheese with a good friend here. Our host Alan was fantastic, he has worked in hospitality for many years and the depth of his knowledge comes across in the session as he described the different tastes that each drink captured along with the cheese and crackers! I would recommend this as a gift to anyone looking for a sociable experience.

Amazing service, lovely team, great drinks. Every year for my brother's birthday we travel from the island over to brewdog and get some drinks. We always have a great time.

Really attentive staff. Great beer, good chicken wings and pizza. Happy to can some beer that's not yet for general off-license sake otherwise. Near to a lot of other good bars and well worth a few steps from the city centre!

One of my favourite Brewdogs. Beautiful building, decent beer selection and friendly staff, atmosphere was really nice too. App works well with drinks arriving at the table quickly.

Came with a friend on Monday 17th May. We were served by the whole team at various points. The lady that seated us was sweet and funny and made us feel really welcome. The second guy that served us lent me his charger. The third was awesome, all of them were super knowledgable. And the fourth dealt with a tricky situation with an ex turning up with total confidence and grace. I work in branding and this is one of the best examples of a team embodying brand values I have ever seen. Totally a credit to Brewdog. HO needs to give them a raise.

Lovely selection and great friendly staff

The concept of "brewdog now" was pretty cool, but organisation was pretty poor considering its just one bloke sat in an empty pub by himself doing nothing but click and collects. I phoned the land-line 5+ times to ask if I could pick up the next day (as per advice on order email if you have queries) and got no answer and was super slow to reply on Facebook. Just a bit poor I felt.

Good beer, veeery tasty pizza, better than most pizza places in town. The place is very clean, staff is very kind. :)

I LOVE Brewdog, the food is great, the beer is great, the seats and you can take your dog. What's not to love?!

An interesting location - tucked away on its own. A fairly small Brewdog bar bit inviting none the less. Very quiet at the moment.

The beer and selection of beers is good. The food is limited and the pizza over priced compared to a similar offering that's bigger in size and uses a better ingredient quality from Franco Manca's. We weren't allowed to order wings because we hadn't booked for Wing Wednesday as we didn't realise we needed to. The service is friendly but slow, as we found in the BrewDog we visited in Edinburgh too so it's not a local issue. I'd go there for beer but nothing else.

Mucho más pequeño que muchas de las barras BrewDog en las que he estado, aparte de quizás Bristol, pero todavía sigue la misma fórmula.El servicio de mesa y las medidas de distancia funcionaban bien; tampoco estaba tan ocupado como estoy acostumbrado a tener un BrewDog, pero parecía un poco alejado del centro.Todo el personal era amable y valió la pena venir a tomar una pinta, pero no estoy seguro de que pasaría tanto tiempo aquí como en otras tabernas.

Visited on 10 July. Was very happy with the distancing measures in place. Staff very friendly & good selection of wines for me as I don’t drink Ale. Husband enjoyed the samplers before purchasing. A good visit & we’ll be back.

Lovely staff, and clearly taking all the right Covid precautions seriously. And most importantly: great beer.
