Ordered the pulled chicken Jacket potato. Potato nice and fluffy, skin nice and crispy. Chicken was really juicy. Finished it with a nice fresh orange juice.

We did not have a booking but the place was not busy so quickly found a table. Menu is via a QR code on the table then order at the counter. There is a good range to choose from including Full English, Full Canadian. As this is an Asian run restaurant the bacon is replaced by smoked beef slices which works perfectly well. Shakshuku was great..a little bit spicy but ok. Canadian came with hash browns, beef, spiced pineapple, maple syrup, avocado. All well cooked and tasty. A couple of drinks we wanted were not available but plenty alternatives to choose from. Price wise not too bad £12.50 for Canadian £8.95 for shashuka. Staff friendly.A great little place. Will come again.

I took my family for breakfast. We had a range of items from full English to pancakes. The food is as good as East leeds eateries. Perfectly presented, the food has a spicy kick to the savoury dishes. Fresh, looks beautiful and tastes amazing! Only let down is the cups are small and there was no Chai latte on offer on the day we visited. However the service was spot on!

We went for the first time today after having been recommended. We both had the Full Indian and it was delicious. I’m not a huge fan of omelettes but it was delicious, lightly spiced. It came with spicy beans, chickpea masala, Bombay potatoes, puri and paratha. There was a nice mix of spicy and different flavours. It came with Indian tea that I haven’t tried before, but was pleasant to drink. The atmosphere was friendly and service not too long, but freshly prepared so worth the wait. We have already told our friends to try it and will be back.

Great place for breakfast. Has free parking for up to 4 hours. Loved the full English, Desi and eggs benedict. Pancakes and French toast were delicious too. Wasn't very impressed with the tea however. Service was also not the best. They did listen to my request of turning background music off at least. Worth the visit for the food but it's quite expensive.

The Beef Burger is excellent. It is the benchmark for all the other burgers I have tried. Juicy and flavourful. Reasonably well priced from the original pricing they introduced. But by Joe the service is slow. Always seemed to fully staffed with young lads but not sure what they do.

Initially I was a bit sceptical when seeing the menu. I play it safe and choose ‘boring’ meals as some say. First time having eggs Benedict with pulled beef and have to say it was delicious! The latte was well brewed although a touch sweet for my liking. Customer service was on point, service with a smile and a family friendly atmosphere. One downfall was the seating as it was quite uncomfortable and the table was too low. The seating area in general is not utilised to its full capacity and you may find yourself having to wait a while for a table. I will definitely be visiting again, the brownies are a must! The best brownie I have had hands down! I also feel there should be some child friendly options on the menu although cannot knock them for not having any.

This was our second time at Brew. The first visit (pre-pandemic) was for lunch and was totally underwhelming. This time it was for breakfast and, again, it just didn't add up to a very good experience. First, the good bits. Most of the food on my plate (Full English Breakfast) was cooked and seasoned well. Eggs were perfect, sausages very tasty, plenty of beans, and the hash browns were decent. Mushrooms were well overcooked and vine tomatoes were good but you're not supposed to cook and serve them with the vine still attached. My partner's plate (Eggs Benedict) was cooked to perfection (I could tell because I didn't get to sample it!). The food is generally very good at Brew. So why the negative review? Well, two breakfasts, one tea, one latte, and an orange juice, for an eye watering £25. When the breakfast tea, which after being allowed to brew in the pot for twenty minutes, tasted as weak as it looked and was undrinkable. The worst English tea that I've ever had and yes I am a self-proclaimed tea expert. Everyone knows a good strong cup of tea in the morning is essential for tea drinkers. It's the most important drink of the day. Also, when I point it out to the staff there's no apology or alternative offering (no tea-bags), just a general care less attitude. The same happened the last time we were there as well. The staff don't seem happy to be there and serve the customers. Finally, we suggested adding vegan or vegetarian options to the menu and the staff member literally laughed in our faces and, without saying a word in reply, just walked off. No big deal but it wasn't that funny!

I come to brew quite often as their food doesn’t disappoint. It’s a lovely halal breakfast cafe and you can tell everything is made from scratch. I don’t have a particular favourite as everything on the menu is nice. One of the downsides is the limited seating inside as weekends can get quite busy and sometimes you can’t get a seat. The option is to leave your phone number and they’ll give you a call but they are unsure how long it can be. I also feel like they could improve the look of the cafe inside to feel a little more cosy. The prices are also a little on the high side for what you get but this cafe is nice as a treat.

I have been following The Brew on Instagram since they opened, but as I work away and with COVID I haven't had the chance to visit....until today! On entering the place we were greeted with a friendly smile and told to scan the QR code for the menu. As it was quiet we chose our own seats. My daughter and I are always looking for halal breakfast options so were happy to be offered the choice here. I ordered the full Indian, my friend halloumi on sour dough and my daughter the full English. Service was prompt and prices reasonable. My friend thoroughly enjoyed the halloumi, but not a complex dish. The full Indian was nice but way too greasy and not enough beans/chickpeas for the amount of bread given. The spices were too subtle for my liking and the desi tea was weak and too sweet. The full English was pleasing to the eye, beans, hash brown, sausage, mushroom, tomatoes and toast. The hash brown was a bit pasty and lacked flavour. Overall the breakfast was marred with the fact that there were real issues with the sausage, making it inediable. I informed the cashier on the way out and she apologised. In the current climate I am always tempted with the amazing images (food, decor, setting etc.) on social media sites, but feel incredibly disappointed when presented with the 'real life' version. This was unfortunately the case with The Brew. I know I have only visited once, but that is the chance to grab new customers and make them regulars. Unfortunately I won't be returning.

First time visiting and thoughts were... Inside decor quite quaint and charming. Ordered the shakshuka with the sour dough toast first time trying this very tasty I must say. However, I feel and just my preference the meal could have done with a extra piece of toast. My friend got the traditional breakfast which she enjoyed thoroughly. The desi tea hmmmmm just hit the right spot and the taste was second to none. I will visit again without any doubt.

When The Brew opened, we could not stop going. Love this place. Visited yesterday and the quality is just amazing. I ordered The Full English, my husband ordered the Canadian based on the staffs recommendation and my daughter who is only 2 and a half, ordered her usual Banana French Toast. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food. It is not often you find a place like this that serve halal breakfast and they don’t just buy processed halal meats, everything is of very high quality, such as their beef brisket and sausages. Their coffee is amazing too. Everything is made fresh to order, so a small wait is to be expected but we are fine with that. They have really held onto their vision as a brunch bar and it has really come into it’s own. Beats any breakfast place locally and we are so lucky to have this minutes away from home. This place is perfect for families, meeting with friends and baby friendly too. Staff have been amazing from the day they opened, nothing is too much to ask and considering they are so young, they are a credit to the business.

Visited today to treat my parents and what a treat we all had. We got there early and it was a very pleasant relaxed atmosphere. Staff were attentive and friendly. We ordered the full Indian, full English, sriracha eggs royale and peach melba french toast (croissant loaf). Everything was perfect, portion sizes perfect and the food was just of superior quality and flavour. It was my first time trying the peach melba french toast and I HIGHLY recommend this. It is not a toast but a spongy, delicate mini french croissant loaf. It's like a brioche and croissant in one absolutely superb. Really enjoyed today's visit snd look forward to my next one.

Always a pleasure visiting here. Great range of soups and reasonably priced coffee £2 or pot of tea £1.60 (Dec '18). The staff are friendly and there's a outdoor seating area which in summer is a real sun trap.

Great selection of craft beers, always changing. Highly recommend 'Neck oil' when it's on. Loads of choice for non beer drinkers too. Not tried the food since it's changed, menu looks good though. Really friendly and helpful staff.
