Superb Have been a few times now and never disappointed Service is spot on and food and atmosphere is superb Gem of a place 👍

Staff very good, food just average, in order burgers were ordered we were told 20 minutes but not juicy overcooked or left sitting took 45 minutes, chicken in pasta seemed overcooked pasta dry, think food been sitting for a while, kids meals were good, would I go back, Probably not.

We went to a 30th party in the function room here. Great space, staff were excellent 👌🏻

Ok so this isn’t a “curry venue” as such, but stay with us. This is local to us and we’ve visited dozens of times. Every time it’s the same; a warm greeting, exceptional staff and an inviting atmosphere. There is a great range of beers, wines and spirits, soft drinks and cocktails. The menu changes regularly, but with some stalwarts always available - steak pie, fajitas, fish n chips, etc. At this stage you’re thinking this could be anywhere. We beg to differ. The parking is free. It’s wheelchair accessible including the toilet. It has an upper floor for events and celebrations. The bar is always busy with great chat and the music is at the right level. The food. We could expand on this but perhaps it’s best to say you need to try the spicy chicken starter and frankly any main course! Enjoy - highly recommended!!

The service tonight was amazing.I ordered the beef stroganoff and my husband Katsu curry.Both were delicious.Nicole the waitress was so attentive,professional and welcoming she is a asset to the Brew 74.I would recommend the steak pie as well.Its worth a visit when you are out and about.

Lovely venue for a Christmas night out, excellent food and very friendly staff. DJ was brilliant too👍

Very busy on arrival with a large volume in the place. The prawns and beef were both on the special, the prawns were very good nicely coated and the soy sauce had a kick of chilli to it which masked well with the prawns. Wife had pate which was also nice with an onion chutney and salad garnish. Followed by beef stroganoff which also had a slight kick to the sauce not sure on the ingredient then the chips, nice, hot and crisp. Service was very good and friendly, only things I’d say negative if looking for something was the noise of a large party of males and the temperature but definitely will be back. 👌🏼

I been there at 7.25 pm ( 7.30 pm kitchen close) they try ask Chef and let me in. Staff so friendly. So clean. 10 point for service. High recommend

Had my husbands 70th birthday bash here. They have a great function suite upstairs which we used. We had 60ish guests. The staff were great. Fantastic atmosphere.

My Family were in the Brew on Sunday 27th of August.The service was fantastic and food delicious and waitress was fantastic as well 😋

We hired the loft function suite upstairs for our evening wedding and party. The set up of the place is stunning, Mhairi and Stephen have created an incredible venue fitting for any occasion and went above and beyond to help make our night perfect. The staff are professional and helpful and are always on hand. I can't recommend it enough, the best function room and service in East Kilbride by a long, long way.

Went to Brew74 tonight just for a wee bite of food. This isn’t a restaurant, it’s a bar that does good food. Fantastic welcome when we arrived and were escorted to our table. Instant request if we would like something to drink and then we were given the menu. Not a huge choice ( this is a bar not a restaurant) but more than enough. We chose and then waited while our choices were prepared - maybe 15 mins. Food, wine, atmosphere, friendliness of staff - none could be faulted. If you’re ever in town head to this establishment for a great evening, even if it’s just for a wee bite of food.

No pepperoni for my pizza and no garlic bread on menu, otherwise ok.

Food very good only 2 things use frozen carrots n seats to close together for amount of people in .I get why but still a bit cramped. Will still go back

Attended a charity comedy event which had an excellent line up and raised money for a good cause. The staff were pleasant too. Can say nothing positive about their food because there was nothing we could eat! There was no dairy free milk option and their vegan alternative to a hot filled roll, served at the event, was a dry roll! Really disappointing that this is the approach some restaurants take in 2022.

Nice wee place for quick lunch. Had a baked potato with prawn marie rose , very reasonably priced. Waiting staff were very pleasant and helpful

Brilliant venue. Attended a private function upstairs. Staff were attentive and efficient. Toilets are well kept and stocked with sanitary products, deodorant, hairspray etc. Highly recommend, oh and buffet was marvellous 😋

Not a big dining area, so book in advance. Food was delicious, plentiful, and freshly cooked. Carrot and Coriander soup was excellent, as was the Pate. The Cajun Chicken Burger and Chilli were excellent as was the Steak Pie that was so tender, it disintegrated on the tongue. STP and Mint Aero Cheesecake were delicious too, if you just drop in for afternoon coffee and desert. All in all excellent. Good choice of beverages too.

Spent a couple of hours from 5 - 7 on Saturday 12th Feb. The place was very busy and, as me and my group were served whenever it was needed, I looked around to see if we were just lucky. Absolutely not. Every table was looked after superbly well which made for a fantastic atmosphere. This is a small, independent bar/wine bar/restaurant not 100 yards from a “chain” pub which has obvious cost advantages yet this place is head and shoulders above it. Would thoroughly recommend to couples, families or even a few guys looking to watch the football.

really wish i could write a bad review so brew 74 could remain a secret but in all honesty this is a wee jem of a place, friendly welcome followed by lovely food served by vibrant staff, overall bubbly atmosphere with a great mix of cliental, thought the prices were just about rite for the menu and will return again

The staff were friendly and pleasant but the meal was a shock. It was a childs portion at best but it cost over £11. The veg was too hard also. I don't mind it having a slight crunch but it felt a tad undercooked. The chicken and haggis slice were bog standard but the small dollop of mash was nice. I was offered more mash but refused. I got a much more filling and enjoyable meal box of chicken balls and fried rice with curry sauce at the neighbouring Chinese takeaway for half the price and utensils were supplied so I could relax in my car, listening to the radio.

Visited for the first time today for lunch. Wasn't yet open but a lovely young lady let us in early. Her subsequent service was exemplary. Food was hot tasty and all requests were met with positive and friendly affirmations. A particular mention to Nicole whose service went above and beyond.

Honestly a little disappointed. My partner and I have been desperate to try this place since we moved to EK last spring in the height of lockdown. We went today for my partners birthday lunch, the selection of drinks is good but the place feels more like a cafe than a bar. The pricing on the menu was wrong prompting a member of the team to come back to inform us once we'd ordered to check we were still happy to place the order, (surely you could've just covered the price if its known to be incorrect, or order new paper menus) the music in the place was really dated with ronan keating being an example. Food was lovely and staff were professional enough but would say they delivered the basic level of service. doubt we will return which is a shame as we could've classed this as our local.

Food amazing! Drinks were lovely. The glasses were absolutely sparkling! The staff couldn't have been nicer. Looking forward to our next visit.

Very accomodating we needed vegan and gluten free staff very helpful.

My first visit out to public places in East Kilbride -I felt disappointed in my visit. I thought I would feel safe after the conditions set by the government with hospitality but unfortunately I didn’t feel it here. We were sat at a table of two which was fine with some distance but not enough between two tables. The table beside us was shouting at times and loud and staggered towards to the bar instead of remaining at the table making us feel uneasy with no one stepping in to stop this - the owners went to tables beside us with no social distance in place making us feel uneasy also - even though they had certain measures in place I felt this could have been enforced much better.

We tried this restaurant on a recommendation, we were pleasantly surprised. It was quiet but that didn't matter,the food was excellent and the young girl serving was very helpful and nice. We ended up having a 2 course meal instead of a 3 course. No room for dessert. Yes we will be back for sure. Give it a try you won't be disappointed .

Brew 74 is close to our house and we often walk past it on route to Morisons, My wife and I went here for lunch on Christmas Eve, it was relatively quiet. My wife ordered the carbonara and wasn't overly impressed, she also felt her garlic bread was a bit stale. On the other hand I ordered the macaroni cheese and chips (which also came with garlic bread) and I actually really enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and attentive although it was very quiet. I'd probably give it another go.

Ambience nice, staff lovely. Food.... Starter was yum!! Huge bowl of homemade nachos and chilli - what a treat! Main was nice, we shared pasta and a homemade burger. Dessert.... Oh dear! After all the yummy homemade grub we were soooo disappointed by the shop bought waffle and fudge cake... Why do so many food places underestimate the allure of a proper good pudding! We will go back, but it wd be great if the dessert lived up to the rest of the courses. Otherwise, great value :)

Five former volunteers decided to revisit the Brew 74 and we were not disappointed. All had different courses, the soup was delicious, as was the bruschetta. I am a vegetarian, so I was told that the home-made burger was fabulous. The macaroni was so creamy and delicious. The service was so friendly and patient especially as we hadn't met for some time and were doing catch-up. A lovely time was had by all.

Lovely food fresh and pleasant service

Despite being close to my house, and having walked past it many times,I have never visited Brew 74 before today. It’s in a small group of shops next to a large supermarket. There is plenty of free parking immediately adjacent. Inside it’s a mix of bar/coffee shop/restaurant. There is a bar with a few stools, about 20 or so tables and the brunch menu is more breakfast than lunch. But it was very good. I enjoyed my pancakes with fruit and my coffee. Just over £8 (plus tip) was ok value. The service was very good too. A return visit is needed I think.

Fantastic breakfast..pancakes were so good partner wished he had more!! Service great. The 2 young women serving were very attentive and cheerful. Warm surroundings on a very miserable day. Look forward to going back.
