I had been trying to stop at this venue for a while, but it tends to be very busy on most occasions. The venue is compact but has an exciting appealing decor. It has bright colours and patterns. The cafe is immaculate which enhances its appeal. The service was friendly and speedy. The prices are typical for London, but the quality is great. I had a spiced chai latte that was very nice. My wife had the cake that she adored. Unfortunately, there were no gluten and dairy-free options available. Looking at the menu the main negative is that it does not have many dietary options. However, it is a nice cafe and provides a good place if you can find a seat.

Extremely helpful, polite and knowledgeable staff. The terrace seating was perfect and the ambience was excellent.

The staffs were very polite, helpful and had good sense of humour. The was okay loved the mashed potatoes and the vibe was also good, I enjoyed myself.

Service was poor, staff were just a bit inept. Good ok, nothing special, expensive for what it was. Maitre’d clearly very experienced and was excellent, his junior staff have a lot of learning to do

We came for dinner for a pre-booked table. Waited an age for someone to seat us. We then proceeded to listen to a waitress complaining how she wasn’t staying after 10pm as it was hot and she’d worked all day. I appreciate staff shouldn’t feel obligated to work longer than contracted however, diners don’t want to hear it nor do they want to be the target of their frustration! We had one drink, fell so uncomfortable that we felt they wanted everyone to leave - so we did. Definitely won’t be going back!!!

Staff were rude not interested as a private function was in progress left without eating very disappointed overall would not go again Arrived for our 830 booking told kitchen would close at 9 so we would have to hurry up!!! Not a good experience

Busy Sunday, the floor staff doesn't look after us at all... Barman has a good knowledge of the gins. We went back for few times for drinks. Good Price for a drink.

Great location next to the fountains, that could be perfect for chilling out with friends. Unfortunately spoiled by cover versions of eurotrash disco music being played really loudly. I asked the manager if it could be turned down as we were pretty much the only people there and was told that it should actually be set louder and that “they” would just turn it right up if anyone dares to complain (love). I considered that response a bit rude. Drinks were nice, but can’t tell you about the food as we didn’t stay.

We have been to Brera Terrace on last Sunday afternoon, 06 of us. We had a reservation for a table at 12:30pm. The restaurant was quite empty when we get there. As soon we have sat the waitress informs us that only the breakfast menu was available. This information make few os us very disappointed because we could not see the rule on the menu on the website, otherwise we would not booked a table there. Then, we asked the waitress why a table beside us had just received some pizzas, she responded that was a mistake of her colleague who does know about the menu availability. We would like to make our lunch/ brunch with friends a pleasure moment and ordered from the breakfast menu. Some time later we received part of our drinks, then another table close to ours also received pizzas! This happened after one hour at your premises when we decide to pay the drinks and leave. At this time part of us went to talk to the manager and pay the bill, at the same time half of our “order” was delivered, but for our surprise our breakfast pizzas had bread bases. We believed that was not our order, actually we have not been informed that the breakfast pizza base was unavailable. The manager offered to solve the problem and we were allowed to order pizza. Food was delivered without cutlery and napkins, we had to request. Finally, I received my iced coffee however the manager announced an iced latte, then I answered saying that I ordered an iced vanilla cappuccino, she told that was a iced coffee anyway!!! I had the coffee that I had not ordered. On top of the manager being rude why has the menu several iced coffees if the manager believes it is all the same? I felt extremely disappointed for making this reservation for friends. It is a shame that a restaurant with great atmosphere and very tasty food has extremely unprepared staff. I have also made a formal complaint on the same day for to the restaurant with no response. They need urgently to have customer services training.

Brilliant experience the pairing with the wine perfect

When there is no option to sit inside (ie due to COVID restrictions), smoking should not be permitted outside. The cigar smoke wafting in our direction was not pleasant.

I wouldn’t recommend and not even would be back. We waited more than a hour and it wasn’t busy at all. Customer service is inexistent, one waitress was serving customers with scarf and jacket. We order fresh orange juices and the juice has been poured from orange juice in carton.. Really poor experience, it’s a good place that can gives a lot as is located in the heart of Canary Wharf, but not managed well.

Went there for birthday dinner and had a great time. The view is lovely and the balcony is sheltered from changing weather. Really felt like a special occasion.

Staff were friendly, the tiramisu and honey cake's were lovely. The lemon and ginger tea complements the above and was not over powering. All in all a positive experience and would come back here, the prices are also reasonable as well

Had such a fantastic time at the cafe brera terrace, Neven and Matt make the most fabulous cocktails! Great vibes, will definitely be back!

Was served by Neven, he gave us great customer service and looked after us as it was my friends birthday with a cake. Small things in life! Will defo be back for the pizza, as they have a 50% off. Thanks for the laughs and jokes with us.

Terrible food experience, 5 people, 5 different choices and all terrible, especially the beef choices, and on the top of that everything was cold and dry. The waiter was terrible, like she was running away from tables instead of attending them.

Cocktails before Illuminations. Cosy seating, plenty of atmosphere, heat lamps and plastic awnings made this Cafe Cosy in winter. It overlooks the pretty Cabot Square fountain. We had 2 Bellinis and a coffee. All excellent.

I feel the choices at Cafe Brera Cabary wharf are limited. The margarita pizza was bland. Feel the hot food options are limited.

I do go there off and on for coffee or a snack. While I can’t fault the quality of their coffee or food, for some strange reasons I’ve always found the staff confused and under pressure. Sometimes they’ve got my order wrong or forgotten to take payment from me or given me change that was meant for another customer. I’m not sure if it’s a sign of some genuine staff management/training issues or just my luck.

Food was good but the restaurant had no record of our booking and we were seated in the terrace next to an extremely loud speaker. Despite requesting that the noise level be turned down, there seemed to be little change. Overall a disappointing experience and not one we would repeat.

This Terrace is changing seasonally, was a chalet and now a lemon garden! Very green and bright near the fountain, hidden gem inside of a busy Canary Wharf centre! Food is delicious and cocktails too😝

A little over priced for food they serve. You are paying for the atmosphere and location. Would consider going for live music and drinks rather then food next time.

Although the service was faultless it was probably the only thing that was. I have dined at the restaurant several times over the years, but was disappointed to return to find a somewhat restricted menu if you did not eat beef. Further, my fish dish was unpalatable due to being too salty, and the homemade ice cream was more mousse like than ice cream. I found the entire experience rather disappointing and not up to the standard I remember Boisdale being.

Table of 3, we ordered the scallops, squid and bisque. The bisque really stood out. Wonderfully intense flavour and texture. We all ended up having burgers for mains. The quality of the meat was compatible to a supermarket and the truffle flavour I was so looking forward to was absent. I’ve had better at GBK for a fraction of the cost. Chips were average too. They do offer a good cheese selection and their wines are really good too. Unfortunately, this was a highly overpriced experience for what it is. £250 for 3 people seems excessive. Average service.

Excellent service! It was a little quiet when we arrived at 7pm but got busier and with that the atmosphere improved. Amazing truffle burgers but I’d give the olives a miss (came in a strange pickled marinade with gerkins)

Booked the restaurant for lunch on Bank Holiday Monday, travelling over 100 miles to meet up with friends, only to find the reataurant closed. No information given out prior to our arrival. It was still showing availability later that lunchtime after we had finished rattling the locked doors!

We booked for a Bank Holiday, when we arrived it wasn't open. Had to find somewhere else to eat.

The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. I would like to come back and experience the live music.

This was a business lunch but would not go back regardless The decor was dated and the menu was pretty standard ie you could order the same in a pub. As mentioned there nothing special/different when the ordered food arrived!!! However, the bill was double the price of a pub plus a service charge? I will not be entertaining here again.

I booked a table on open table, it was confirmed. However when we got to the restaurant, they didn't have my booking, they seated us in an area which was a walk way, it was not as advertised. We ordered two course meal, simple dishes and waited a very long time (35 minutes). The waitress got our orders wrong, most likely because she couldn't speak English or didn't understand us. My colleague sent her meal back because it was wrong and despite the waitress saying it would take 2 minutes, it took 15+ minutes. Everyone else had finished eating. The waitress was useless.

Express main course was a bit small but lovely atmosphere and burgers were great

Very good from Boisdale as usual. Service wasn't as attentive as I expect, and it wad super quiet which hanged the atmosphere. That said steak was prepared as requested and wine was delightful.

I just so love visiting Boisdale's especially in summer sitting on the terrace. Once again I had my favourite haggis, followed by the truffle burger. Just so delicious. Cannot wait to visit again

As a positive note, live music is generally good quality and the ambience is nice. The venue is also well located, but the food is average and not good money for value. Portions are not generous and service is slow. Also inside is very chilly and staff looks disorganised. The £19 offer is very limited and whatever you add on top, aside from the service which is also not included, it's definitely too expensive. Don't even think about the coffee, expensive and weird taste..

Really cozy, lovely place with excellent service. Food is delicious and lovely ambiance especially during cold winter days and the festive season.

It is always a pleasure to visit Boisdale and on this visit we ate from the fixed menu with a glass of prosecco. As always I had the haggis and we all went for the steaks. The food was just excellent, but then I wouldn't expect anything less. I therefore look forward to visiting again next week.

We had a very nice meal. We were well served and our option re the set menu were explained to us on arrival. We didn't feel rushed or pressured and we had a relaxing meal. Would go again.

Great restaurant with fantastic service and wonderful food. Menu is varied and there were a good selection of chefs specials in addition. Live band on stage later in the evening for a small additional fee which added to the experience. Special thanks to Jenny, the wonderful Scottish manager who runs an efficient and friendly team and who made our visit even more special.

Booked a table at Boisdale and got sat in the bar. Not sure why? Went for a steak and for a burger. Fries arrived 15 minutes later. Burger was reasonable, wine was rubbish - Spanish Cab/Merlot - smelled corked but wasn't! A different year than was advertised on the menu which annoying! Service was slow and unattentive! Irish coffees were luke warm, yuck! And we got stung £95 for that displeasure! We will not be back!

We opted for the 3 course set menu and we both had the Haggis to start and treated ourselves to the steak (totally recommend). The food was excellent and so was the service. Needed a recommendation for an informal business lunch and this really did fit the brief.

We love Boisdale, so went there for Fathers Day with my Mr. The price was slightly too high for the type of food we got for the brunch, however this included a bottle of prosecco. Overall food quality was OK. Service was outstanding as always.

I was disappointed wanted to have lunch whilst watching the live jazz, unfortunately I was booked on first floor, however the food menu on first floor was very underpar it felt like a different restaurant compare to retool floor.. Disappointed was expecting more😒!!!

Booked in here for a relaxed lunch after finding we couldn't get a table in most of the more casual places. It was excellent, surprisingly quiet but perfect for what we needed and great value lunch on the set menu

45 min late for our reservation and we were sat immediately. Our waiter, Tim, was fantastic. Scottish decor and food with jazzy ambiance.... Pretty cool I must say. Food was great!

I was pleased with this establishment for a number of reasons. Firstly they have a wonderful and friendly front of house. The ambience is lovely, especially with the jazz band playing in the background. The food was well presented and I could make no complaints with the fish of the day, which was Hake in a cream sauce. Lastly I was most impressed with how accepting this establishment was when concerned with my 4 year old daughter. I will most definitely return and would recommend this restaurant for a a wide range of occasions.

Went with my daughter for a meal, green salad was poor and got a refund. Steak great and chips but unless you ordered more sides the plate looked pretty empty. Starters from the tapas range were good and a lot of choice. Nosey and crowded on the Thursday night we attended but bar option useful and outdoor area if it was not so cold that night.

We should've booked the upstairs dining menu but instead we booked downstairs on the terrace. It seemed a bit cosy and loud when we first scoped it out an hour or so before we due to arrive but on returning it had bettered itself and seemed more restaurant like. We felt a little crammed together but other than that I cannot fault it, dinner was brill and the dessert was out of this world, compliments to the chef!! Would go back!

Boisdale has a simple but very tasty menu, great for group bookings for dinners with accompanying drinks. Great bar with rum based drinks is perfect for pre-or post-dinner.

A very discrete location for a good business conversation - I was able to stick to my (temporary) low carb ambitions with steak and spinach with calamari to start

A good location to have a business meeting over a bite to eat - they will adapt the service to any time constraints you have. I can recommend the burger although it is very filling!

I had s nice meal on a Wednesday evening. I got there just after 8.30, but it was still nice and busy. I was surprised by the casual feel- people were not only coming in for meals, but just drinks and even only puds. If you can make a choice off a smaller menu there is a two course deal that applies to a small menu - which is ok value.

I've eaten here a few times and was pleased for book a set menu offer. We are upstairs so we're able to watch the music too. I think the same offer was available downstairs but if you book that, you don't see the live entertainment. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Lovely food but they were short-staffed when we dined.

As 3 couples we had a lovely time here. The only issue was a few main dishes were sold out that we ordered.

We ate on the balcony for the burger and oyster bar. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was lovely and good value. After we asked for a table upstairs which was £20 for two people. If you dine upstairs this can cost a significant amount more so it worked better for us doing it this way. Great atmosphere and amazing tunes from a star of the future!

A farewell lunch with work colleagues was very enjoyable. We were seated in the Grill and Bar but ordered from the menu we saw online which was to their upstairs restaurant. The Scallop starter was excellent - we all had this and everyone commented the same. We all had steak and were very impressed with this as well and even though I didn't try it one team member commented that the Sticky Toffee pudding had a great amount of actual toffee flavour. We couldn't knock anything about our experience at Boisdales in Canary Wharf.

Despite the fact Boisdales is a bit of a 'boys' venue (all tartan, meat, whisky and cigars) my friend and I had a lovely meal here, with the set menu (£19.95) proving to be great value. Great service too!

I go to Boisdale's frequently and always find the food excellent. I took a friend to lunch and we had a table in the Fish and Oyster bar outside on the terrace. We had great service and the food was super. We chose from their two course set lunch menu at £11.95 per head, great value. The wine was a good Pinot Grigio, very crisp. All in all a fab lunch

So we are back to one of my favourite places to eat in Canary Wharf. Again the food an service was great and I cannot wait to visit again :)

My friend and I dined on the offer of 2 courses plus a glass of prosecco and the choices albeit limited, were very good. We added the third course of sticky toffee pudding which is delicious. The service was excellent; pleasant while not being obtrusive.

Our visit to this place was very good and very relaxed. We went with some friends who were not in a hurry. Nevertheless the waitress let us have all the time we wanted to order, order some more and just simply enjoy ourselves. We ordered various starters which were great to share - and a main which was well prepared. Would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a laid-back, informal dinner with friends.

Another enjoyable visit to Boisdale and we chose to sit out on the terrace. We enjoyed a main meal and we all had different varieties of the burger on offer. Which as per usual were excellent. On occassion the service was a bit slow, but I have found this on sometimes when sitting outside. But we still had an enjoyable lunch and will definitely be back soon.

Had a lovely evening at boisdale, very good service, food expensive but worth it, restaurant was very romantic . We managed to see the show which was very good, you are charged a fee to see the entertainment but well worth it.

The place was rather quiet being the bank holiday, this was a surprise. The food was alright but not something I would visit again.

I had an excellent meal here on Saturday and can say I continuously dine at Boisdales because of the food and service. We took advantage of the set menu and happily paid the supplement for fillet, which was cooked perfectly. The whole experience here is very good and I would highly recommend. One thing that I saw recently mentioned is the chips. I note that they are not the basis of an amazing meal. That said when eating delicious steak the chips were simply average. A small improvement would make a great difference overall.

The atmosphere is fabulous at Boisdale when the jazz musicians start to play. The restaurant is filled with a lively buzz (but not too loud), the food is lovely, the wine list great and the service excellent. We keep going back time and time again!
