This was my worst restaurant experience ever. I booked to dine at this restaurant because when I was looking for Italian restaurants in and around Canary Wharf, I saw this being described as being a restaurant located in the Four Seasons Hotel. Knowing the quality of the Four Seasons Hotel restaurants around the world, I booked. Little did I know that the description is false because the hotel where it is located is no longer the Four Seasons. When we arrived at the restaurant at 7 pm, we found it totally deserted (including there being no one in the open kitchen). Eventually, 3 people appeared - one chef in the kitchen and 2 people (Mr. A and Mr. B) serving the restaurant. Mr. A, who took our orders, clearly did not know the menu as he repeatedly asked what we were ordering. After our orders had been placed, I asked to see the wine list ... and was shocked to see a wine described simply as a "Brunello di Montalcino" with neither the maker nor the vintage set out priced at 100 pounds a bottle. There were a few other similarly generically described wines on the list. I told Mr. B who had shown me the list that I simply could not order from a list like that. The next thing which happened was even more alarming. We saw the chef arguing or quarelling very angrily with Mr. A and B and angrily taking food items out of the fridge/freezer and throwing them on the kitchen counter. I therefore waved to Mr A and when he came to the table, I told him we would be prepared to leave if the chef was not happy to cook for us. Mr. B assured us that the chef was not angry with us. However, when the food came (served by Mr. A), all of it was incredibly bad. My guest told me the burrata in his starter was somewhat dry and the rigatoni carbonara I had ordered for my starter was unseasoned and tasteless. I had to sprinkle salt on the pasta and eat one piece of guancale with with each piece of rigatoni to give it taste. My daughter's beetroot grilled salmon was supposed to have been served with asparagus but they didn't have any asparagus, so it was served with broccolini instead. More remarkably, it was served on a bed of "lemon cream cheese" which could easily have been left out. But when my wife, whois dairy intolerant asked if she could order that without the lemon cream cheese, Mr. A said that the chef indicated it could not. The mains were even worse. My wife and guest both ordered the rib eye but their steaks came overcooked. My "fine Iberico pork" was far from fine but dry and served with broccolini which was obviously not fresh (already turned yellow) and Dauphinoise potato which was again tasteless (and ironically not even as good as the Dauphinoise potato which I had eaten on a BA flight that morning from Porto!). My daughter's tagliatelle bolognaise was, like my pasta, tasteless. And the damage? 250+ pounds for a total load of rubbish. And by the time we left, the restaurant remained totally empty and the restaurant manned only by the chef and Messrs. A & B. I am glad no one else suffered the same fate as us.

Great place to chill and have fun with friends.The best part about it is that it is very relaxing and comfortable to be with.

Horrible service by restaurant staff, I have been a resident of the development for 5 years, using the hotel restaurant terrace very often as it’s typically very quite. For some reason now the staff insist that they are overbooked when in fact the tables are always empty. Today I was told that there was no space and told to leave when only one of the 7/8 tables was actually busy. The waiter was obviously too lazy to assist us, and kept referencing some mythical people that where about to come, but of course never came

Before the CV19 lockdown I enjoyed a sophisticated and pleasant lunch in somewhat impersonal settings. Staff and food 5 stars. A little pricey and eating alone in a large restaurant was unnerving...

A group of eight of us had an evening meal there during a two-day conference held at the nearby O2 arena. We were almost the only diners which I found unusual but it was a Wednesday evening, perhaps not peak time. Service As you might expect, given that there was almost nobody else in the restaurant, service was brilliant. The maitre d’ was very attentive and he obviously cared for the reputation of the restaurant as he rejected two bottles of wine having opened them and before we tasted them. Food quality I was disappointed with the quality given the star rating of the hotel in which this is based. This is not to say that the food was bad. My bruschetta had three styles, not simply the tomatoes and garlic on toast, and tasted very nice. My seafood risotto tasted fine and had quite a variety of ‘frutti di mare’ but the squid within it was, however, rubbery. Others who had the calamari starter also complained of rubbery texture. I know that this can be tricky but the star rating would ordinarily indicate that they could cook it correctly. Others complained of bits of shell in their food. Food quantity Being a northerner, I was quite pleasantly surprised by the quantity. I was expecting to have to use a telescope and tweezers but my knife and fork were quite suited to the task. Wine The maitre d’ had an extensive knowledge of the restaurant’s wine cellar and was able to make quite excellent recommendations having ascertained our preferences. The quality was good, as you would expect. Overall When you go to a restaurant and you encounter lots of locals, this is usually a good sign. We did indeed encounter one local who clearly enjoyed coming here, but this was of the four-legged murine variety. Given the proximity to the river, I’m pleased it wasn’t a rat. I might have said something had ‘Roland’ wandered past, but we left the mouse alone. Would I recommend it? Probably not. The conference was at the nearby Intercontinental and the food we had there was better, notwithstanding that they were catering for 1500+ people. I have no frame of reference to compare Quadrato with other nearby restaurants but I would almost certainly choose to eat elsewhere.

C'est dommage pour un resto Italien de n'a pas savoir cuire des pâtes correctement, sur 3 plats différents... Et d'utiliser de la bolognaise en boîte... Pas ouf !

This was my works last day and as a special treat to ourselves we booked afternoon tea here. I booked our sitting a few months prior and the communication between myself and the restaurant was amazing they were so helpful and catered for our every need. We had 13 vegetarian options as well as 1 vegan and 1 gluten free. And the restaurant delivered!! The afternoon tea was delicious there was an array of finger sandwiches from honey roast ham to roast beef and then salmon and for the vegetarian option there was mozzarella and tomato a gorgeous aubergine and courgette and more. The pasties were light and fluffy and the scones you can tell they were freshly made. The selection of cakes was incredible from macaroons chocolate brownie to an delightful lemon mousse cake. The service was amazing and kept topping up the sandwiches and cakes as we went. Tea and coffee was endless and we were never without an empty cup. For £25 in this beautiful surroundings situated in the canary riverside plaza hotel made our last day together special. I will be taking my family there very soon.

Had breakfast for two on a Saturday morning. Service was poor, slow, disorganized. The open-air kitchen revealed disagreements among the chefs and with the wait staff. It took 30 minutes to serve waffles....that were cold, crunchy, and dry. The order arrived in installments, with the last item arriving as we were essentially finished. I’ve dined at this restaurant several times previously over the past few years. Like everything at the hotel, everything has gone downhill in quality.

We booked last minute an afternoon tea at this 5 star hotel in Canary Wharf, out of the fuss in central London. It was definitely a nice idea, and totally worth in terms of value for money! Reservation process over the phone was fast and easy, with all our questions answered in a satisfactory extent. Upon arrival, we were greated and served by Cataldo, the head waiter, who was also very patient and helpful with us, when we asked to take some pictures of our party. The savoury secton was tasty, with ample selection of frwshly made sandwiches, followed by superb scones, with homemade jam. The experience was overall excellet. My only suggestion would be, being summer, to make a better use of the outdoor area: in spite of the wonderful weather, we were seated inside, which was a bit shameful, considering the nice weather. Other than that, i would really recommend the experience to all of those who are still doubting of the great potential East London facilities can express.

Good service from start to finish (Ali was our waiter). We had afternoon tea with bubbles. There were a good number of teas to choose from and staff were quick to refill when we ran short. The sandwiches were all good and I particularly liked the slice of chorizo sausage roll. Wish there had been more of that! The scones were decent but not amazing. The cakes ended things nicely. We had a Groupon voucher so it was half price.

Pleasant friendly staff who were discreet but observant and very helpful from arrival to departure. Ali was our waiter and very professional and courteous tbroughout.

My friend took me for an afternoon tea, and was very happy with the decor, service and was very impressed with the Vegetarian part of my tea. My friend had requested ahead of time and was delighted to enjoy the quality and flavors of the sandwiches served. Ali was our host, Ali was helpful, kind and caring to make sure that all was well with the Afternoon Tea experience.. Thank You Ali, you did great and thank you for taking the photos for me to remember this experience. Would recommend, the decor, staff, food worth experiencing.

Visited for Afternoon tea with a friend who requires Glutton free diet. After initial problem with booking this requirement we visited 21/02/18. Very friendly staff and the lady that welcomed us to the restaurant was very nice. Tea was very good and my friend was very impressed with the Glutton free scones. Dario the Food and Beveridge Manger and his team were very attentive. Would recommend this Hotel although it was very quite on our visit although staff said it was busy earlier in the day.

Booked afternoon tea for mum. And left message it was her bday . They kindly put confetti o table and after the tea bought a lovely birthday plate . The service was above and beyond my expectations the special deal we bought didn't affect the level of service in face the manager Dario and the waiter Ali went were amazing. Kind and friendly and we had a lovely day . Recommend thus beautiful hotel in the heart of canary wharf . Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon x

The restaurant was very quiet but it was Sunday evening where Canary wharf tends to be quiet. The chocolate mouse is one of a kind. The best in London!! the waitress was very friendly and helpful and full of smiles. Will definitely be returning.

El hotel ha cambiado de manos, desde su anterior propietario y marca de clase mundial "Las Cuatro Estaciones". He estado aquí muchas veces en el pasado y tuvimos una buena experiencia. Esta vez, no tanto. El hotel ha perdido los detalles más sutiles, por ejemplo, tienes bolsitas de azúcar con su bebidas calientes, y esto es en el restaurante de 5 estrellas (odio, quizás yo soy quisquilloso). El menú es mediocre, aunque rara vez cambiado buena relación calidad-precio - £20 disfrutará de un almuerzo de feria de 2 platos. . . En términos reales, te iría mejor pagar un poco más y dirigirse a otro sitio. Algunos de los empleados aún están allí desde cuando era el Four Seasons, que era bueno para ver, sin embargo, no estaban tan contentos y encantador como lo fueron - y estaba claro por qué. Wow - cómo rápidamente las cosas cambian. Utilizamos para albergar reuniones aquí y me llevaría a mi familia aquí para el brunch del domingo. La disminución es chocante - todo el personal que hizo el anterior Four Seasons tan especial y acogedor se han desaparecido. Parece que han sido reemplazados por pasantes. El brunch decadente ha sido sustituida por algunos pasteles, un plato de carne y algunas frutas. No hay forma de que no es un hotel de cinco estrellas ahora. No me sorprende que no parece haber nadie allí, sin duda no será reserva de nuevo.

Realmente estupendo buffet brunch del domingo en el hotel Four Seasons. Prosecco para empezar y un montón de comida deliciosa comenzando con deliciosos mariscos y ensaladas interesantes. Servicio impecable todo el tiempo. Asados era genial, aunque sobresaliente un poco salado. Para morirse de queso coliflor al curry con semillas de color granate. Los pudines eran pequeñas y bonitas con el mascarpone uno destaque. Tan lleno, pero muy satisfecho!

Reservamos aquí por el cumpleaños de mi madre para buffet el domingo nos alegramos reservamos este lugar, había 5 de nosotros y un niño de un año que era muy servicial y amable, el bebé incluso consiguió su juego cubiertos en lo que fue un toque agradable, la comida era excelente la elección era genial y muy sabroso, también te dan una copa de Prosecco incluido en el precio! Es muy razonable, 45 libras por cabeza. Como era un cumpleaños el decorado de la mesa con un poco de bits y cumpleaños también trajo un especial regalo de cumpleaños con una vela. Estamos deseando volver para disfrutar de una buena comida de domingo.

The first thing that struck me when we walked into the four seasons hotel was how quiet everything. The doors, the voices and even my girlfriends high heals. <br /><br />We were greated and shown the way to the restaurant where we then greated and shown to our table.<br /><br />Now prior to my booking i had enquired about having a rose placed in my girlfriends spot with a note. I was told that the roses where only for guests of the hotel but he would see what he could do.<br /><br />Much to the envy of every girl in the restaurant, on the table was a beautiful red rose wrapped in gold paper and the table had been covered in roses petals and little sequin hearts.<br /><br />Our waiter came over and offered us sparkling water and showed us the menus...there was a valentines preset menu or you could order of the main menu...I myself had the pork belly ramen starter whilst my girlfriend had the minestrone soup both of which went down amazingly well. The pork being so juicey and tender it just fell apart in my mouth.<br /><br />Our plates were cleared with same decorum and silence as everyother aspect of the hotel and restaurant.<br /><br />For mains I had the steak and chips on a bed of spinach and my girlfriend being a vegetarian had the spaghetti in tomato sauce. Now for a restaurant of such caliber I was expecting tiny little plates with a high price tag but I had a full 9Oz steak cooked to a perfect rare and the same with the spaghetti. Portions like you&#039;d get at home.<br /><br />Dessert was just mind blowing. It was a velvet mosse in a chocolate cage in a tart raspberry coulis. Now being the fact it was no bigger than a cricket ball but was still £15 per plate I was a little shocked but the quality of food, service and overall friendliness of the quadrato meant left with nothing but the highest opinions

This is a quiet place for good honest food in Canary Wharf. The quality of food and service is always of a high standard. It is worth a visit when in the Dockland area.

Reserva por teléfono era sencillo. La llegada el domingo era agradable, el portero era más que encantados de mostrarnos donde el restaurante era. El personal en el Quadrato son muy atentos, pero nada exagerado. La selección de la comida como entrante de buffet era bueno, desde la sopa de gazpacho, ostras, y se podía volver tantas veces como quiera. Los platos principales mientras esperabas fue una selección de carnes y verduras, y los postres eran del tipo buffet, ambos postres calientes y fríos. Nos alojamos por más de 3 horas y disfrutamos mucho el ambiente relajante de la tarde. Una manera muy agradable para hospedar a huéspedes para el almuerzo del domingo, terminando con un paseo por Canary Wharf.

Everytime I have had brunch or dinner at the restaurant it is a great experience, the food and service no complaints, if you haven&#039;t been, your missing out!

The service was exceptional. We were really impressed by our waiter. He was very attentive and made our meal extra special. It was a lovely meal. I especially loved the oysters, prawns, beef roast and macarons. They could refill the buffet a bit more. There is a children&#039;s play area too.

A primera vista, estoy en un capricho. El bar y restaurante en el hotel Four Seasons, Canary Wharf, está limpio y es espacioso. Tiene un ambiente fresco, con vistas del río Támesis. Como es bastante tranquilo, prueba el personal y sentarte en una mesa que está en la parte trasera y un poco escondido, pero no es mucho tiempo antes de que un camarera me lugares, Resultado Point. Ella es cortés y eficiente en tomar mi bebida y comida, ella conjuntos mi mesa eficientemente y limpiamente asegurarse de que todo es perfecto, punto 2. Sólo pedimos dos de los aperitivos en vez de Main, crocante calamares confitado especiado paprika, hummus con Pita. Dado el servicio que había recibido ya me esperaba una delicia. La comida llegó y parecía cada poco la parte. Una vez que empezamos a comer la alegría se convirtió a la tristeza. Tener solo conseguimos comer media de cada porción me preguntaron si todo estaba bien, pero mi crítica no fue tan agradable como el servicio. Calamares obviamente era fresca, pero fue fuertemente maltratada que significaba que había un floury resistencia que hizo la calamares parece difícil y elástica. El sabor confitado especiado carecía de ajo o paprika. El hummus, que supongo que estaba recién hecho nuevo carecía sabor aparte de la abundancia sobrepasado de aceite de oliva, no había calidez de ajo o tahini.

Siguiendo la recomendación de Enviar decidimos dar el Four Seasons Sunday Brunch una prueba. El camarero nos enseñó a nuestra mesa y dijeron que si es la primera vez, estás en un capricho. Él no estaba equivocado. Los aperitivos y postres era un desayuno estilo buffet. Todo era absolutamente de primera categoría. Ostras, salmón, ensalada de langosta, sushi, carnes, pasta recién preparados, sopa, panes y otras numerosas delicias. Todos ayudaron con un vaso de Prosseco complementaria.

My daughter and I were staying in nearby apartments over night and needed breakfast on Sunday morning, so we thought we&#039;d give this place a try.<br />We were there for breakfast, not brunch, so perhaps it&#039;s the brunch that the restaurant puts its real effort into.<br />You are given the choice of continental (£18), Full English (£26) or a la Carte. We chose the buffet, me choosing items from the hot selections as well as continental, my daughter choosing mostly pastries and fruit with a small spoonful of eggs. <br />It&#039;s somewhat of a difficult thing to define the difference between the two types of meals when my daughter&#039;s choice of a small scoop of eggs put her into the Full English bracket - making that small spoonful cost £8 - expensive by anyone&#039;s standards.<br />There is only limited choice of food available in the buffet: scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms. It sounds like plenty, but if you want say, pancakes, waffles or any other kind of egg, choice of sausage, beans etc you need to order a la carte - pushing the price up substantially. <br />The buffet items themselves are OK, but by no stretch the best I have had.<br />I guess I had expected more for the price. I&#039;ve eaten at many other similar hotels both in London and around the World and for the prices left feeling full, but not altogether satisfied.<br />I am giving a low score for service, because while the staff were very nice, I was handed the bill for the meal as I was eating, then had to pay it while we were still eating. Not sure if this was because we weren&#039;t hotel guests, but it felt strange to be eating my bowl of yogurt and fruit and having to organise my credit card and signature at the same time. Would have preferred to have been left in peace to enjoy breakfast and pay discretely afterwards.

Overall, I was impressed with the food at the Quadrato Restaurant. The starters were fantastic, there was not a trace of oil, and the bread was aromatic. For mains, we ordered fish, which tasted like they were bought fresh at the Billingsgate Market an hour before (which in all probability was true at least for the day!). The staff were extremely courteous and friendly (and I have had this experience a couple of times at the Four Seasons in Canary Wharf). The only disappointment is that the restaurant is on the ground floor - a few floors higher would have made a great difference. However, I would still highly recommend the Quadrato.

Nos visita Quadrato quizás 4-6 veces por año, principalmente para reunirse con los amigos que viven cerca y para sentarse afuera en la terraza para disfrutar de una bebida y comida. We have eaten at this restaurant before and always found the food to be good. But this was the first time we have stayed there and had breakfast. Menu prices are among the lowest of major London hotels. Decent menu.

We were a party of 4 and from the tine we arrived the service was first class. We ate at Quadrato in late July 2014. The food was overall of a good quality, but not outstanding. We had a voucher code and paid approx. £40 less for 2 people. For the amount we paid the food was good value. For the full price we would say that it is too expensive, there are Michelin star restaurants in London that charge similar amounts. One plus point is that they offer good childrens options at sensible prices and are a child friendly restaurant. It&#039;s also a spacious and well set out restaurant.

We were the only ones in the restaurant. The food was delicious and atmosphere very quiet, which we liked as we had traveled all night. xo The ravioli with truffles was to die for.

Dai ristoranti dei grandi alberghi mi aspetto perfezione dei dettagli, sempre, e buona gastronomia, qualche volta. Questo è uno dei casi in cui ad una ottima (anche eccellente) gastronomia si accompagnano dettagli trascurati. ma siccome in un ristorante pilota il cibo, cominciamo da lì: intanto il pane è sorprendentemente buono, ed il vino al calice (Barbera Pio Cesare) perfetto sia come gusto che come temperatura. Il primo, un minestrone di verdure, si rivela piacevole e profumato, anche se forse un po' troppo ricco di piselli. Poi il filetto, con cottura richiesta, gusto pregevole e frites di accompagnamento buonissime, originali e non grondanti olio; peccato che vengano proposti ketchup e senape di accompagnamento.....Espresso come se fosse in Italia, insomma un'ottima cena, come pure la gentilezza, il servizio, le stoviglie ed i bicchieri di un nitore raro. Bella la vista sul parco, la cantina vini a vista, la cucina dietro un vetro che dà sensazione di pulizia e cura. Però.....intanto c'è la solita moquette per terra, che non mi parrebbe proprio il caso, ma soprattutto, i divani su cui ci si accomoda, hanno un rivestimento così lordo, che sembrano quelli dei treni: e le sedie non sono da meno. L'olio e l'aceto che troverete sul tavolo (peraltro buoni) non hanno etichetta, e trattandosi di ristorante italiano sarebbe bello sapere da dove vengono. Gli specchi davanti al mio tavolo avevano un po' di ditate, in compenso dopo il caffè mi hanno servito un assaggio di piccola pasticceria molto buono. Quindi, lasciate la cucina, i camerieri (kind & smiling) e tutto il resto come sono, e puliamo le stoffe!!! (e togliamo quella moquette d'epoca...

Food, service, relaxed atmosphere, attention to detail - Quadrato has it all. We will be back - again !!

For £350 I would have expected to get a little more than good cocktails. However good they were they did not really compensate for the somewhat inattentive service and quite frankly very ordinary food.

Was probably expecting a wider and fresher spread of breakfast, just like what we had in another 4Seasons hotel, so was left a little disappointed.

An outstanding meal, backed with outstanding service. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening with some of the best food and presentation I have experienced.

Fuimos ayer a Four Seasons Canary Wharf en la noche y probamos la selección de tapas que se sirven en el bar. Muy bonita y encantadora presentación y muy buena relación calidad-precio. Teníamos una pequeña porción de gnochi con mariscos y este plato era muy agradable. Una gran experiencia.

Lacks identinty, claims to be Italian but serves lamb kebab as main course? ?? This could be a superb restaurant if taken by an ambitious chef. At present, spends too much time in decorating the plates rather than making tasty food. Very disappointing. Service was very slow, impossible as lunch in Canary Wharf. Raw meat was good, the Tiramisu and the cheescake tasted manufactured. Simply not forgivable. Bread (focaccia) not good.

I have to say that the staff were friendly and the service was overall good.<br /><br />However I found that the breakfast I ordered was cold, the coffee was also luke warm.<br /><br />Also I ordered brown toast and instead got white and was also stone cold, I experienced trouble in putting the butter on the toast due to the fact that it was rock hard !!, I was however so hungry that I eat it anyway to avoid any hassle.<br /><br />I won&#039;t in the near future be going there again as the food didn&#039;t actually represent value for money which is a shame.

The food here is fine but the dining room lacks atmosphere and would not be somewhere to go if you are looking for the buzz of a big city restaurant.

Fuimos un par de semanas en el restaurante Quadratro en el hotel Four Seasons de Canary Wharf. Muy bien establecido en el buffet. Todo parece estilo picnic que me pareció muy diferente y creativo. comida y servicio como siempre muy agradable.

Fantastic value and excellent service although there would have been serious problems if it wasn;t given we were the only people there intially. Main course of the beef was absolutely delicious but we were very disappointed about the lack of flavour with the 2 dessert options.... Would go back again but might have to reconsider the dessert options

El personal de la puerta, camareros y conserje realmente no puedo hacer lo suficiente. Sin duda volveré.

He estado recientemente en el hotel Hilton en Canary Wharf para el desayuno y tengo que decir que no puede ser comparado con el Four Seasons Canary Wharf experiencia. El buffet de desayuno del Hilton está bien, pero es muy ruidosa y la calidad de la comida es por mucho de la calidad del Four Seasons. We enjoyed the services of the restaurant on 14th December and took a table for eight. Usually when a large table is booked you can encounter service delivery problems but totally faultless with a super menu and excellent service.

Relaxing Sunday Brunch in a nice and welcoming atmosphere. For £45 pp you will enjoy a delicious buffet with choices of fresh fish (sushi, sashimi, salmon,tuna,fish salad), meet (all high quality ham from Italy), cheeses, bread (brown, focaccia, with seeds), salads, fresh omelette, main courses in the kitchen (roast beef, chiken, turkey, potato, different vegetables) and a marvellous desserts corner. Very good service. Worth a visit, happy to go back.

Yo tenía previamente cenamos en Quadrato y tuvimos una experiencia maravillosa. Yo estaba encantado de que mi segunda experiencia reemplazado al primero! Para empezar, el ambiente y la luz de este lugar es mágico. Con su entrada cueva del mármol y el río Támesis corriendo por el fondo, es simplemente un lugar maravilloso. Lo que no me puedo quejar del excelente saludo que continúa hacia un gran servicio. Los aperitivos estaban bien, pero me gustaría criticar los platos principales como ser demasiado peatonal- hacían falta los gustos principales, que debería haber sido fuera dado los platos. pasta de cangrejo por ejemplo que parecía toda la pasta, poco sabor de cangrejo.

¿Qué puedo decir que no se haya dicho ya. El saludo cuando llegas es de primera clase, muy educado y cálido. El personal en el restaurante es muy profesional, servicial y genuina que te sientas cómodo inmediatamente. El restaurante es impecable y el hecho de que se pueden ver los chefs trabajan en las cocinas detrás de una mampara de cristal insonorizadas es excelente ya que puedes ver la limpieza y el profesionalismo de los chefs.

We returned to Quadrato for Sunday lunch, and although the buffet selection was reduced slightly, we had a nice experience.<br />The food is excellent and the service is charming. Recommended
