Wonderful people who start the restaurant. I know the chef from Italy roma. He is star chef, I was his restaurant in Rome and had his food , wonderful delicious food he made for me. And I am sure he will do the same in brick lane. His name is Dipu chef, from Rome Italy.

They were extremely accommodating! Came in late on a Sunday night and they sent us away with a lovely meal!

this place is on ubereats under Hulk protein Meals. i just ate a bowl a sugar and it was disgusting. The tasty calorie maintenance salmon was minimal flakes of salmon and rice SOAKED in sugar. I have a giant sweet tooth but this was disgusting. i have no words. robbery and lies

“The Kitchen?” Nope, it should be called “The Takeaway” Visited late last night and it looked like a kitchen equipment sales shop with a pizza oven at the very back! I didn’t realise it was only a takeaway but with 8 vegan pizzas to choose from and hotel a couple of doors down, it was a no-brainer. Vegan Menu: The vegan options were Margherita, Hawaiian, Meat Feast, Pepperoni, Sausage Mix, Chicken Mix, Vegetarian and Sausage. £9.95 to £11.95 I chose the Sausage Mix £11.95 which has a tomato sauce base, grated vegan mozzarella, slices of vegan sausage, thinly sliced red onion, sliced roasted red and green peppers, jalapeños and virgin olive oil. The chef hand stretched the dough and cooked it in the pizza oven which took about 4 minutes. It was served piping hot with a pre-bought garlic and herb dip. The base a nice mix of crispiness and softness, the vegan cheese was amazing and it tasted really nice. If I’m to be critical, the topping slipped off when I tried to eat it because all of the cheese went under the toppings (add half underneath and half on top guys). I also only found one slice of jalapeño so so it lost any heat I’d hoped for too.

The price is kept so high, and then give it in half of price to attact the people to buy pizzas And this kitchen has got different names and I got tricked many time having the same pizza again and again. The customer service was horrible, they were rude, I phoned them to complain about a product being overpriced, ordered a coke (not specified in their website) they sent me a stupid can for £3 !!! I called they hang up on me the first time saying wrong shop then I called back again the guy was extremely rude never seen that in my life , for no reason, would not recommend buying from here!

Literally absolutely sad about my experience i spent £30 on deliveroo for two small portions of pasta and feel robbed. Its disgusting knowing that it was worth £7.50 at most meaning it should have cost me £15 tops and whats worse is my food was discounted by £20 like how? I want someone to explain this to me.

My food was cold not even warm just cold, the calzone didn’t look like it had ever seen an oven was wet, soggy, cold and just not edible. AVOID

No! Don’t! Absolutely terrible pizza (I’d love to know where the stock photos they use came from ‘cause that sure as s**t weren’t taken in house)! Customer service is worse than their food. This was the “special marguerita” which should include basil and parmesan cheese, where is the basil ? Poor taste and I paid 12 pounds for poor cheese and tomate sauce. Very disappointed.

A quiet hidden Italian, the food has nice flavour, the prices are reasonable and the staff always friendly. It is not going to be the best Italian food in London, maybe not even East London, but always a wonderful evening and even better when you go with good company.

Ordered Meat Feast pizza and steak with potatoes(main) and calamari and garlic bread with mozzarella(starter) for two people. Nice food. Good portion. Staff helpful as well. Would go again.

Last night I visited this restaurant with my family. It was a fantastic dinner with freshly baked in Wood fired open Oven. My GF was really pleased and enjoyed special in LaCucina . Specially i recommend to try their pizza called ItaliAn Hot.

yes, La Cucina serving very delicious pizza and fresh pasta .visited last week to grab yummy pizza and went back after 3days for takeout pizza again.

One of the very few downsides of moving out of London is not being able to visit this wonderful restaurant on a regular basis any more. Italian is my favourite cuisin and La Cucina, tucked away behind a narrow entrance, half-way along Brick Lane, is the best Italian restaurant I have visited, outside of Italy itself. The menu has a good, if slightly limited range, they will cater for vegetarians, vegans and any other diet (if you give them warning) and all the food is wonderfully cooked. They have a great range of wines and all of their staff are knowledgable, friendly and helpful. The welcome is warm and the service attentive but not "in your face". Even better, their prices are very reasonable, especially for London. You can enjoy a superb meal and a bottle of excellent wine for well under £30 a head. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

Bad pizza! We ordered this for delivery based on the score on deliveroo and also the enticing picture of a delicious pizza on their menu. The pizzas were really bad. For £12 per pizza you would expect proper chicken, aka sliced or shredded, not cubes of processed chicken and the cheese was really poor. A quick google search showed us that single photo that they use on deliveroo is not from this restaurant and therefore the pizzas are totally different. Not impressed! Avoid.

Seems like this place has changed name and owner. You can find the new one as „Pure La Cucina“ on google, I also reviewed there. High prices, bad quality. Ordered Pasta Rigatoni Matriciana, instead of bacon they used sth else, it was tasteless. Also the waiter absolutely ignored us, instead he kept staring at his phone and wasn’t kind or friendly at all. Also they don’t serve beer, wine or any other alcohol there, which was totally fine for us, but their official pictures show a wide selection of wine. After we told them that we’re not willing to pay over 30£ for what we got the waiter started becoming arrogant and „kindly offered“ us a small discount. In the end we paid around 20£ just to get out of there (still an absolute waste of money). To the new owner: Please don’t claim that we haven’t been in your restaurant as you did with previous reviewers, that’s just plain unprofessional.

DON'T GO THERE! Service was bad, food was terrible. Anyone following a basic recipe should be able to make better food. Pasta was overcooked, drowning in oil and bland. Official pictures show fresh ingredients and a selection of wine - don't kid yourself, those are probably from the previous owner. Criticism was met with impoliteness and arrogance.

While we enjoyed excellent service in a clean location, our food was inauthentic and overpriced. The spaghetti had too much chili powder and the pizza was simply not good. Would not recommend—you can find better food in the area for less.

Not great. I went to this place as it was right next to my hotel. I spent a total of £19.90 on a can of diet coke, the American hot pizza, and some calamari rings. The food itself took only a few minutes to cook, for obvious reasons - the pizza was barely cooked through, drenched in chilli sauce, with tough meat. The calamari rings smelled fishy with a heavy battering and I didn't enjoy a single bite of anything. I ate one slice. I was so disappointed with my food that I attempted to take it back. I don't like bothering restaurant staff at the most urgent of times but I couldn't stomach any more. I was very apologetic and polite, insisting that I didn't mean to be rude but the food simply wasn't for me. The gentleman I spoke to didn't understand why I didn't enjoy it, to where he went through the menu with me to insist that this is what I'd asked for. I requested a partial refund, but was instead offered the use of their bin. Almost £20 down and an empty stomach.

We ordered via deliveroo, got a beef steak, paid 17£ and didn't eat at all. The meat was so tough that we couldn't chew it. Also, we asked for veal scalopine, but they brought us chicken instead. Disappointed overall. At least deliveroo refunded us.

It’s located in the heart of Bricklane , near the Premier inn huB hotel. We were there 3 times for our group dinner . They provided great deal and delicious pizza and delicious tonnerelli carbonara. Really surprised to see that there were 9 delivery was take takeout food within 30 minutes. Extremely overpriced. Went there with a friend and just had a main, sparkling water and shared a dessert. It was £32 each and still hungry. The food was bland and boring. The waiter was pleasant but the restaurant is not worth it.

Used to be my favorite restaurant in Brick Lane NOT ANY MORE after new owners took charge we visited and were disappointed uncooked tasteless and expensive...we got different things from what we ordered...menu is confusing staff are confused too about it too ...don't waste your time and money we both had discomfort after the meal

Nos sorprendió mucho encontrar este pequeño restaurante italiano en Brick Lane, entre todos los restaurantes indios. El lugar es muy ligero y limpio, y. . . . . ¡vacío! No había nadie adentro para almorzar un domingo. Lo intentamos de todos modos, ya que la opción vegetariana en el menú sonaba bien.Aquí no se ve una sola persona italiana, se trata de personas de la India o de países limítrofes. El servicio fue muy amable, rápido y bueno, la comida llegó pronto y todos nuestros platos estaban bien cocinados y sabrosos. Durante el tiempo que comimos, no había otros invitados entrando, pero contamos no menos de 13 conductores, recogiendo la comida ordenada. Por lo tanto, me parece que el lugar tiene una buena reputación por su comida y la relación de precios, pero nadie realmente quiere sentarse en el lugar. . . . Las pizzas eran grandes y la masa era delgada y crujiente y los platos de pasta eran muy sabrosos y frescos.A todos nos gustó y nos sentimos muy bienvenidos por el equipo. This was a very pleasant restaurant. Quiet and the food was good - however don't get confused it is no longer La cucina and we walked past twice!

I would give it 0 if I could. Got non vegan pizzas delivered from them which had meat and cheese in them! When calling them up, they said that if ordered vegan, that’s what you got and then they blocked the phone number. Dont order from here vegans.

Good pizzas - sizeable portion, they were good but nothing to get really excited about. The panna cotta pudding was a bit disappointing as it was more like a hard mousse than what you'd expect with no wobble. The profiteroles we ordered were decent. I recommend the bruschetta and the selection of cold appetisers which were very nice.
