The service was amazing the breakfast was excellent compliments to the chef highly recommend if I could I would of given 10 out of 10

Went in for lunch friend ordered sandwich with salad. They did not wash their hand before making sandwich picked salad up with hands did not use tongs. Touched face and carried on picking up salad with out washing hands. Friend found hair on her plate Put me of ordering food wouldn’t go again

Best breakfast! Thick tasty bacon, hot food cooked to order and plenty of it. Coffee hot unlike other establishments which serve it lukewarm. Definitely return here

We stopped for lunch the menu looks nice. We ordered the fish ploughmans and a prawn marie-rose baguette. The food arrived so quick they must have most preped in little pots in the fridge. Cromer crab was lovely the prawn marie-rose was really watery, bread was microwaved it was that hot. Salad for the ploughmans was a few little gem leave 4 slices of tomato, 3 cucumber a small pot of branston and corn chips they had ran out of pickled onions. The prawn baguette was nice but as it was picked up the watery sauce ran out the bottom like a river. Same amount of salad and chips as the ploughman. The food was ok at best at overpriced seaside rates. Will find somewhere else next time

Came in for coffees and cakes. Never been in such a disorganised place. One poor girl manning the till and making coffees while there was a big queue - 2 other members of staff faffing around not doing much- guiding people to tables with an order pad but not actually taking orders at tables as it was too busy!! One large group next to us sat at their table for ages expecting to be served, as you would in a cafe.

I used this cafe today and the service was abysmal not only that I ordered a breakfast baguette and the bread had seen better days. Dry and inedible and crumbled up in to pieces, so this baguette had jumped out of the freezer at some point. Disgusting for the amount of money I paid. I did approach the counter staff and all she could say is sorry. I will by pass this cafe in the future.

This is the second review I have written regarding Breakers Cafe and as far as I am concerned I have no complaints about the food at all. Just as good as my previous review. My only comment would be regarding the toilet facilities. My wife used the ladies/disabled toilet and said the sest wad loose and when using the gents one of the hinges had broken and their was no water from the tap. As I said food excellent but sort out the toilets and it will be five stars again

I’ve only ever had breakfast here but it is beautifully cooked and a very generous portion size. I was particularly impressed with how the member of staff dealt with allergies and all the staff we saw were very friendly and welcoming. The cafe was spotlessly clean and looking at other reviews i will go back later in the day to try some of the other food they serve.

I popped into this cafe with my parents last Monday (18/03/2024) and just wanted to say that the food was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. It was warm, with a friendly atmosphere and a very generous and tasty offering. Will definitely be returning when we come from Peterborough to Cromer again at Easter.

We called on two occasions to grab a coffee & a hot bacon/ sausage & egg roll. The cafe is busy but the service is fast & efficient. Everything is spotlessly clean & the sarnies that we ordered were beautifully cooked, a nice portion size & really delicious! The flat white coffee’s were excellent too!

Nice little cafe near to where we was staying - Shame they don’t allow dogs in though - lovely hot fresh breakfast and served quickly but the Cafe was very quiet but my reason mainly for the review was not one member of staff smiled even when I smiled at one she just looked so miserable - and standing around when a table needed cleaning Maybe try to be more welcoming

A great value cafe. We both had the wraps, one with brie, bacon and cranberry and the other with the fish fingers. Both came with wedges and large portion of coleslaw. We were so full after eating it. Very tasty and great value at £7.95 each. Both followed by a latte coffee.

Delicious, reasonably priced and huge veggie breakfast (2 Quorn sausages, 2 fried eggs, fried bread, baked beans, mushrooms and tinned tomatoes) ! Very busy but worth the wait. Coffee good as well.

Visited here a couple of times this week and it’s a no nonsense good quality cafe. Not had a bad meal. Definitely would recommend.

The wife and I stopped over for breakfast in this bustling cafe and it didn’t disappoint. We both had a sough dough Chicken wrap that was filling and tasty in a generous portion and the Americano coffees were piping hot. Very enjoyable.

A great little place, staff were so warm, welcoming and friendly. The coffee was just perfect. We sat and watched the world go by and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you. We will be sure to visit again!

I really didn’t want to leave such an excellent review, selfishly I want to keep this little place to myself. But seen as I don’t live in Cromer and only visit once a year that would be very selfish of me. If you are hungry and want some incredibly delicious home cooked food, this is the place for you. Portion sizes are huge, all meals ordered we’re very tasty and the level of service was 5 star. Well done Breakers Cafe. We will definitely be returning!!

A wide range of things are available on the menu and lots of breakfast options. The best thing is, is that I personally feel that there's value for money here. You get a decent sized plate full of food for less than £15, or less than £10, depending on what you're ordering. Would recommend this café to those visiting Cromer that wanted decent food, but not at any extortionate price!

Went for breakfast on Sunday morning. Food was delicious and everything was cooked to perfection. Felt very Covid safe. We took two cheese scones home and they were great too. Would highly recommend

We visited the cafe twice because we enjoyed it so much. Social distancing and safety measures in place. Veggie breakfast is delicious and the chips are divine! Got a good cup of coffee as well!

We visited Cromer to take some pictures of the pier at sunrise, which meant leaving home at 4am with no time for breakfast. We finished at 7am and went hunting for a bacon sandwich & cup of tea. We spend 20 minutes wandering around but no-one was open that early, then we came across Breakers Cafe. The first thing we noticed was the excellent COVID19 system ... traffic lights to tell you when to come in, screens, hand sanitiser, etc. All very well thought out. The owner served us and was excellent, absolutely brilliant service. We ate our bacon sandwiches on the pier and they were fantastic, as was the tea. All in all an excellent experience, highly recommended.

Went in for breakfast all seemed good until burnt sausages and very dry beans and very bad fried bread was collected for our table! Feel the staff are very friendly but very inexperienced all seemed to be in there early 20s

Went to have breakfast with my family. I only had toast that was cold and hard. Both other members in my party were unable to eat their fried breakfasts because the sausages were so over cooked they were difficult to cut! Very disappointing and very over priced at £25 for 2 cooked breakfasts and a portion of toast!!

Disappointed had full breakfast and belly buster in our order the black pudding was nice bacon was ok but eggs were over cooked and the sausage was so hard couldn’t finish it on both breakfast they been cooked before then reheated see photo , bread is the cheap stuff and tin tomato

Four of us popped in for a snack and we were pleasantly surprised, the food and service were very good and excellent value for money. My first impression was it appeared to be quite basic, but do not be put off by the first impression ! - we would definitely return and I definitely would recommend.

We were camping in the area last week, and stopped at cromer for breakfast. I gooogled cafes that were taking part in the government eat out to help out scheme and this was the first we came across. There was a traffic light system outside letting us know when we could go in. The menus were on the wall to avoid anyone touching them, and the staff were behind a screen when ordering.When our food was ready, we were called to collect it from a hatch so that no one other than the chef touched the plates. A good idea, and made us feel totally safe.The food was really lovely, we would definitely make an effort to come back here!

Our first time visiting anywhere since lockdown. All precautions were in place and felt completely comfortable in this establishment. A traffic light system to say if we can enter, hand sanitiser as soon as you enter, menus on the wall next to each table so that you don’t have to touch them and all tables spaced accordingly.We had an excellent breakfast, all,cooked fresh after ordering at the counter.The owner and his staff have done an excellent job and would definitely recommend you try it.The owner and his staff

Just visited this lovely cafe in Cromer. As far as full English breakfasts go, it was outstanding. Everything cooked perfectly, the mushrooms were a really nice touch. Really friendly, helpful staff.

Popped in for breakfast before entering there is a traffic light system telling you when to enter, upon entering the counter is screened off and all tables are spread out. Really safely done it worked so smoothly. I had the gut buster breakfast (pictured) it was a good old size and the items were of good quality. Fully recommend the cafe!

We always eat here when in Cromer. This year due to Covid restrictions they have an info board outside explaining the new guidelines and the menu to browse. They operate a traffic light systen, so when a table is free and has been sanitised, the light outside turns green for you to enter. Great system. We did wait up to 10 minutes to get a table but that was nothing compared to the queues outside other eateries nearby.Food as good as always and plenty of it. Staff very welcoming and good at explaining the guidelines regarding ordering and collecting your meal from the hatch. Staff working hard to keep their highest standards.Always busy with locals, that is always a good sign. We enjoyed burgers, chips, salad and coleslaw. Very nice.

Called in here after a morning on the Pier. We walked past several places and this café looked nice and the menu was varied for us as a family of 4. They conformed to the Covid-19 situation, with a very good "traffic light" outside letting you know if there was any seats available inside. We chose a variety of meals from the menu and all were served in good time, hot and of a suitable quantity. The staff who dealt with us were polite and helpful. Our daughter loved the hot chocolate with sprinkles. Nice position on the street to watch passers-by whilst having lunch.Would recommend this café.

Run by a good friend. Welcoming staff coping magnificently with the social distancing requirements and explaining to absent minded customers. All was observed and the atmosphere jovial (and safe). The full English, as I expected, was a joy. All fresh ingredients and beautifully cooked. Hit the spot and I shall return.

Everything they make and serve at Breakers is the absolute freshest. From the crepes, pastry items, sandwiches, and egg dishes, it was all very delicious. The coffee is amazing too. Enjoy!

Very tasty grub at breakfast time that filled me up for the rest of the day ! Went here the other morning while in the area for a show at the nearby pier theatre. Staff were friendly and welcoming, food was tasty & cooked well and prices were reasonable. I had the all day breakfast with a portion of chips with it and thoroughly enjoyed everything. Couldn't ask for more than what we got in this little local café. Would definitely eat here again if in the area.

Heard so many good things so decided to try it out when I had family visiting but we were all extremely disappointed. We had southern fried chicken sandwiches but the chicken was plain instead of Southern fried, the bread was paper thin, the whole sandwich was soggy and they hadn't even cut them in half which was strange. We got half way through and realised that even though on the menu it said our sandwiches should have come with crisps they hadn't, and when we went to the counter to ask about it we just got given a packet of crisps to share between us. Also, the latte we ordered was done very well with proper coffee using the machine but when it came to the black coffee, they just scooped some instant coffee out of a tub and added water to it? All in all it was quite an expensive lunch too and we left feeling very disappointed. Won't be going back.

Bacon was good, Sausage average, Beans cold, Tomatoes warmish, Egg watery, Toast good, but margarine not butter, Staff friendly, Decor is pleasant.

Queues at the nearby Chip shop (combined with a note saying everything is fried in beef dripping) meant we dropped into this pleasant cafe by accident not design. Nothing special but we had 2 generous jackets - tasty

We decided to not have breakfast at our b&b and venture out for breakfast.Breakers is great value for money, my boyfriend order the Buster breakfast which he couldnt finish (the biggest portion ever!!) And what great value for money!I ordered the standard breakfast and also great value for money. Good quality sausage and bacon, we felt so bad to leave so much food on our plates but it was out of defeat and feeling so full!

We always pop in here for breakfast when in Cromer and have given excellent rating in previous reviews. Hoping this was a glitch but came in for breakfast, was served by a very surly teenager. Eggs were overdone, one had obviously broken on the way onto the griddle so no yolk. Mushrooms were greasy in the extreme. Awful auto tuned pop music blaring out. They’d run out of loyalty cards. Hope the next visit is better

We called in & ask if they was still open as it was around 5.30pm we was told yes so we ordered 2 meals both the same when the meals came they were just dumped in front of us which in turn a chip fell off my partners plate a small apology of oh sorry was given but no advice as to where the condimets/cutlery was when my partner went to eat her burger she noticed it was pink on the edge with that she cut it into 4 to find in was pink all the way through luckily I had finished my burger so we left her burger in the bun n left

I had breakfast here with my wife. The food arrived very quickly after ordering and the portions were very generous. The tea and coffee were also very good - all for around £13! I would recommend this cafe if you are looking for a decent, no nonsense breakfast.

We went to Breakers for a quick lunch and it's pretty good, service was fast and the food was What you expect from a cafe, all the staff are pleasant and helpful and it's clean too . The only downside was the radio which needs to be re tuned as it had a bad reception and became a little annoying.

Another Breakers special breakfast, and even better than the previous one. Bacon and sausages which taste like proper bacon and sausages should. Substantial quantities of everything and all very tasty. Served by very pleasant staff. Well done to the new owners.

I've been going to Breakers for years, and whoever the current owner is, the quality of the food never falters. Always gorgeous. It can get a bit noisy in there and is 'cheap and cheerful', but you won't be disappointed with the food. I had the veggie breakfast two days running - and they will do alternatives if you don't want exactly what's on the menu

Came here today late afternoon as part of a big family group. Prices very reasonable and we couldn’t fault the food or service. The Brie, cranberry and bacon baguette was huge and came with plenty of thick bacon. The children’s meal were huge- the burger went down very well with my son. Highly recommend breakers cafe.

I think rather than one person serving AND making the hot drinks, with the amount of staff in the place, one could be making up the drinks orders and delivering them to th table freeing up queueing time, which sometimes takes an age!

we went in for lunch, it wasn't really busy so got a table. We ordered our food, my husbands jacket potaoe came, we asked where my prawn salad was. It was just coming, we waited another 10 minutes and asked again, it's still on it's way. I thought the prawns that i'd ordered were so fresh they hand picked them as you wanted them! again I asked, this time got no reply. when my husband had finished his lunch i asked for my money back, just as they were getting it ready. The girl on the tills looked very confused, asking don't you want it now? to which i repiled "no I wanted it over half an hour ago" she managed to give a refund in mostly 20p pieces. If you don't know the recipe for a prawn salad don't have it on the menu. Went round the corner and found Buttercups tearoom, had a very lovely lunch in there and went back later for tea and cake, very impressed iwth Buttercups service, Beraker could learn a thing or two about customer service from them!!!

Came here today with family and tried the vegan lentil curry and it was delicious!! Didn’t wait very long at all for food to come and the staff were very friendly and polite. Will be back very soon! Great to vegan options 😊

Cromer is desperately short of places that are open at a reasonable time for breakfast but Breakers is open at the appropriate time and, whilst nothing special, serves a better than average breakfast

Just visited Cromer and was looking for breakfast. We were quite early one cafe looked open but as we walked up he said sorry another half hour and as it turns out how glad were we he was not open yet. Just round the corner was Breakers. Already open and so we went in.we looked at the menu expecting the usual you get in most cafes. We ordered the breakers special and drinks. The young lad who's name was Harry I think greeted us with a smile took our order and couldn't have been any more professional. When the breakfast arrived everything was freshly cooked locally sourced and as far from your supermarket sourced ingredients as you can get it was delicious. More like you would get from a local farm shop or better hotel than a high road cafe. Well done breakers it's so nice to get a breakfast that is actually value for money and tasty. Keep up the good work we will be back.

I ordered a salad baguette with only a little mayo and it arrived drenched in mayo and soggy and fell to pieces on picking it up. Baguette was soft and doughy and not crusty so I doubted it if was even a fresh one. Totally inedible. Looking at other tables and other customers had walked off leaving food uneaten. Food quite pricey too. Do not recommend.

This was a no nonsense breakfast with large portions and excellent fried bread. Clean, friendly and good value.

Lovely and delicious food, we ordered jacket potato with bacon, brie and cranberry, served with side salad and jumbo fish fingers with chips and peas.The prices are good value and the portions are better than you get elsewhere.

Ok the food is a little bit basic but the price is right and you receive a nice portion. At least we felt satisfied after our meals unlike sone places we have visited.

Plenty of choice, but we had 2 full English, and 2 kids' breakfasts. Delicious. Everyone cleared their plate. Great value too, and a lovely clean and spacious cafe. Cheaper than our hotel breakfast and much nicer.

Have visited this cafe a number of times now, absolutely love it. The atmosphere is homey and comfortable, all the staff are so welcoming and kind. They cater for Vegetarians, vegans and offer gluten free options which is amazing, and the food tastes great. Highly recommend!!

Stopped off here for lunch after visiting the pier and seafront. Extensive menu from all day breakfasts (of varying sizes) to jackets to fish and chips. Soft drinks and tea/coffee available. Food was good quality and good value. Speedy service and very clean cafe throughout. Would reccomend.

Visited as a family, didn't have to wait too long for food after ordering. From the kids menu: 2X jumbo fish fingers with chips and beans, both well enjoyed by our boys. My wife had the chicken and mushroom pie with chips and peas - she really enjoyed it, and was left full up for the rest of the day as it was a large plate! I had the homemade cottage pie, and in hindsight wished I'd chosen something else. I understand that a dish such as cottage pie is going to be made up in advance and then heated on order, but I found the layer of mash had dried out quite a bit, as had the mince layer. I think it would have tasted really nice fresh, but I wouldn't order it again. It would have been nice with thick gravy too (as there was with my wife's pie). We would visit Breakers again though, and three out of four meals were well enjoyed so rating rounded up to 4/5!

Came for a weekend away and this place never seems to fail in any way! Great choice of food on the menu, wide variety and caters for people in different ways. Brilliant service and very friendly staff.

The food here is delicious, the service was quick and the staff were kind. There is a huge variety of food on the menu so there is something for all ages. It was well worth popping into and I look forward to returning another time!

We have been testing out different places to have breakfast. Breakers has been the best. The team accommodated my request and the service was prompt. Lovely fresh bread, tasty bacon and sausages. Tempted in, away from the wind into this cafe for a bite to eat. Quite busy and popular with others too. Friendly and warm welcome. Super hot chocolate and cheese and tomato panini - a bit slow service despite having lots of team members around but guess that was simply due to my timing. Thanks guys

The extensive menu in the window tempted us into this café for lunch. I had a cheese and coleslaw jacket potato with a banoffee milkshake, and my boyfriend had a southern fried chicken baguette and a mug of tea. The food was was good and freshly prepared. My only issue was that when the food was brought over, the waitress didn't bring any cutlery. When I asked for a knife and fork she told me they were near the counter. She could have brought them with her when she brought the plates. But all in all that's not such a big deal.

Good food, tasty and hot with good portion size. Pleasant staff, really enjoyed our meal there, cold and windy outside but toastie warm inside.

This is truly a wonderful find ,we had a lovely walk and ended up here for brunch.

We had a lovely day in Cromer and decided to have lunch in Breakers Cafe. There was a good choice of food and hot drinks. Plenty of children's choices too. It was quite busy but we didn't have to wait long for our food. We had already had our drinks. Lovely staff too.

Breakers is situated just off the slope to the pier therefore an ideal stopping place in the middle of town. A no nonsense café serving large portions of cooked meals and snacks. Our grandson particularly likes their milk shakes which were large with cream & chocolate sauce. Staff were very friendly.

We visited this cafe when in Cromer and enjoyed our visit. We were treated in a very efficient manner and did not have to wat too long for our food or drinks. All we had was very good and we would have no hesitation in visiting again if in Cromer. We were there on the day of the Red Arrows so the whole town was busy

I went in for a sausage sandwich it was very nice but you need to give yourself a lot off time to be served and to get you food and I wasn't busy so don't know what it would be like when it's busy
