Fantastic cheese and fruit scones! We cannot have enough of them. Friendly service. You can also get the scones at the market in Norwich or at a kiosk in the cathedral precinct.

The coffee was great but the pastries were disappointing, dry. Two coffees, a chocolate croissant and a cinnamon bun came to about £13. To be honest, the pastries at M&S bakery were better the following morning.

Best spot in the city for coffee and pastries, so much on offer, amazing and friendly staff and always a great soundtrack.

This bread and other bakery items are second to none. The pastries are delicious and the different types of breads mind blowing.

Reepham-Bread Source Newly opened in The Dial House, Reepham. Sadly not a great experience. The Dial House is a beautiful Georgian building but Bread Source have imposed their ‘house aesthetic’ upon the cafe area, this means it’s stark, characterless and uncomfortable. The tables are like school desks, the chairs hard, the seating area feels exposed and draughty. The serving area is on the opposite side of the entrance hall to the eating area, so quite a distance. The cakes and bread all arrive pre made. No baking takes place onsite so no lovely tempting smells. The products seem quite uniform. It just has no character. Luckily Reepham has other good coffee shops and a bakery, all independent with lashings of character.

If I reviewed every cafe I visited I wouldn't have time to do anything else, so somewhere has to be very special to be reviewed now! Every cafe thinks it can do a tea and scone but I think there only a couple of dozen places in the UK that do it properly... A great cuppa to start with, loose leaves and a generous pot The fruit scone was a good size, and fresh....but what makes it truly delightful is the butter they provided, from a west country farm, and some of the best raspberry jam I have enjoyed away from homemade. Thank you for giving me a generous dollop of it, and not ruining the experience by providing one of those mini pots of jam(ok) or those peel-back-lid plastic pots(truly awful). With tea and scone this good they were allowed the Christmas related pun on the window! My one observation.....wipe the steamed up windows as I nearly walked past thinking the place was closed!

Most miserable experience ever in a Bread Source. Had the cheek to ask for another butter as the Cheese Scones are huge and so flavoursome. No response from server just handed the butter with a miserable face. Not at all like the friendly staff in Aylsham where nothing is too much trouble.

Love going to this BB's as you can usually get a seat and its tucked away in a quiet area in the castle quarter. The food is always tasty and the drinks are good too. The service is quick and they are always friendly with plenty of smiles. The staff seem to enjoy working there as well which I think makes for a nice atmosphere. They obviously have regulars who they have chats with and a catch up but are not pushy if you dont want to talk much. They seem very genuine. Keep up the good work.

Atmospheric pub in Norwich, well located with smiley, friendly car staff. My only gripe is they are cashless so I had to put £2.50 for a tonic water (driving!) on a card, they would have lost any profit in charges, cash should always be an option imo.
