I hosted a charity pub quiz in the Brass Monkey and it was a close to perfect evening; organising the event was a breeze, the space was perfect, and Anamaria and all the staff were so friendly and helpful, even helping me to clear up at the end of the event. The food was delicious and drinks reasonably priced; I honestly couldn't fault anything about Brass Monkey and it'll always be a special place for me now; thank you Brass Monkey and team!

A satisfying meal, at low prices for London, just around the corner from the Victoria stations. The current menu is stir fries and rice, rather than the bagels in the current main photo, but it was a reasonable portion served quickly and cooked well.

Great pub with super welcoming and friendly staff! It was perfect for a pint and a bite before seeing the sights as it's close and centrally located. Great selection of beers and ciders. Highly recommended if near Victoria. I've returned several times, and the new wagyu burgers menu is great!! The cheeseburger was delicious! And they also have vegetarian options. The atmosphere is chill and fun. Will definitely come back when I come to London again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

As a group of friends/colleagues we wanted to get together after work for a post Christmas gathereing, (Christmas event postponed due to train strikes). Brass Monkeys made us so welcome reserving us an area so we could hold a light hearted quiz . An excellent venue, great food, good value and a happy hour from 5:30pm until 7:00pm. The team at Brass Monkeys were really friendly and could not have done more to make our evening truely memorable. We hope to return soon and would highly recommend Brass Monkeys. Thank you.

Came here with friends for lunch. Service was great. There was one waiting/bar staff on and he was doing a great job (Mike I think). We ordered at 2 different times, seconds apart. But the food came out almost 40mins apart. Kitchen was slow and what seemed to be unprepared. And it wasn’t busy at the time. Being in the catering industry myself, I was understanding. And the barman (Mike?) got us a free round for the inconvenience. Despite this, the atmosphere was lovely and when we eventually got it the food was tasty. I would return

Skulle slå i hel en halvtime med litt kjapt å spise. Etter å ha betalt, fikk vi beskjed om at de ikke hadde den ene retten. Vi var fleksible, og tok noe annet. Totalt uspiselig. Ikke crispy, ikke varmt, ikke god saus. Ganske godt gjort å levere ut «frityrstekt» kylling uten at det er varmt. Høydepunktet var at vi fikk advart et annet par mot å spise her. Kommer definitivt aldri igjen.

What a splendid place to meet someone arriving by train at Radlett. Coffee was excellent, menu offered a restrained choice at sensible prices (and good quality too). Service was prompt and friendly. And I (just) managed to park outside.

Very caring and professional staff. Enjoour 3 visits .There was a wonderful atmosphere and although busy we were were in the taken care of very well.

Came here for some diet cokes with the fellas. We are all recovering alcoholics but love the feeling of a good pub. Was made to feel very welcome by the blonde lad at the bar. A lot of other pubs make a joke at your expense if you're a large man ordering a soft drink on a Saturday night but not here. I'll be coming back soon for another fizzy pop and a laugh or two. I have to write a review on the staff here alone because they were so lovely. There had been a mix up with bookings, so I didn’t have a table, but the way they handled it was above and beyond. Would come back just for the lovely staff! Thank you.

The staff was very polite and we arranged our booking quickly, also i contacted them about being late. No problems. Food was brought quickly. And it was tasty. Blue cheese burger was brilliant. Also tasty chips and house made sauces. I used GroupOn voucher and didn't have any issues. Authentic interior, bice place where to enjoy a meal. Also has outside tables. Would like to return here

Met a group of friends for drinks and dinner here. Nico the charming manager had reserved a delightful table for us overlooking the whole bar. I was over the moon as they stock a Romanian Pinot Noir which is like bottles red sunshine. We had burgers and sides. The Halloumi fries o could have continued eating all night 🤤. Our burgers were fresh and delicious and everyone cleared their plates. We were too full for desert but they stock Jude’s ice cream which is to die for. The whole place feels warm and inviting and the crowd is relaxed and on good form. Highly recommend. Thank you Nico for a wonderful night!

Tried many times to contact them - phone always goes to their answer machine. Left several messages but they never once attempted to call me back to confirm if booking ok. Had a Groupon for lunch but as they insist on advance bookings for the Groupon the whole thing was a waste of time.

Super schöne hipster Bar. Sehr gemütlich und preiswert. Allerdings sollte man keine Nachos bestellen. Diese sind voll mit Käse und schmecken abgestanden. Das Bier ist dagegen super !

The place is quite small but cozy with people coming from work and great beer - all you need for your afternoon!

Pub con cenas con un ambiente agradable. Me tomé una hamburguesa, con unas french fries...Nada dificil, y estaba todo bueno. Dos Pints cayeron tambien. Para una cena en solitario, cubrió expectativas.

Went there with my husband and a couple of friends for a drink afternoon, we ended up trying out the burgers, the food was good, though the service could had been much better. It's a nice cozy local that is perfect for a weekday drink I would say.

Manager rude, changing deals on the day of a booking that was made weeks before and then lying about it. Would not recommend as staff seem unsure what they are doing and the manager is just rude. Shame as the space is otherwise reasonable.

Nice bar if you happen to be near Victoria Station. If you are looking for a drink at a freehouse that are slightly different than most, this place is an option as the decour is much lighter than the usual pub decour.

Visited with my granddaughter before going to see Wicked. Very enjoyable and cosy atmosphere. Food was really nice and great location for Wicked.

Brass Monkey is a cosy and friendly pub. I always go there when I can. The selection of beers and cocktails is great and the service is quick and efficient, especially the bartender from Venezuela. I definitely recommend a visit!

Pour boire bières ou cocktails, manger sur le pouce (hamburgers, frites maison, halloumis panés et plus encore ) , il suffit de demander conseil au chef cuistot français et très sympa. Un pub chaleureux dans lequel on est retourné trois soirs pendant notre séjour.

Ambiance sympathique, bonnes bières et burgers typiques "pub anglais". Accueil amical. Je recommande pour prendre un bon lunch en dehors des quartiers bondés de Londres.

More of a boozer pub than a pub for gnoshing. Only the bartender for bartending and serving. The hummus is a small bit of hummus (which is good) and cut up strips of a small pita. Same thing for the chorizzo and brie cheese - maybe 4 slices of brie?

Tasty fish and chips but pretty small for £12.90. Roasted beetroot salad looked great but the beetroot was cold and not roasted, or not enough so you could tell. Limited menu for supposed gastropub.

The service was so great! The two guys working were beyond friendly. Helped with every single question I went up to ask. Food was good enough. Drinks were perfect. Duck in for a spot. Oh! .... free G&T; if you post a pic to Instagram. Perfect!!

Quick pop in before seeing Wicked at the theatre that's v close and it was a nice pub and lovely service but the food could be better...the beef nachos were a good size but cold in places which was weird.the halloumi fries were delicious

Small pub with a very decent menu, good prices and nice relaxed atmosphere. The barman is very friendly and the burger and chips are amazing for the price. It is not a busy so great for people who hate queues as me. Will definitely come back soon!

An amazing bar/pub with a great location, near Wicked & Hamilton. Really friendly staff. Relaxed environment & we loved the Cheers alcoholic ice cream! Looking forward to our next visit.

A very nice Pub with a reasonable selection of draft beers. The fish and chips were some of the best I have had. Prices are reasonable. Some nights can get very crowded. For an economical dinner or just a pint it is a fun place to go.

Había reservado para el almuerzo para mí y mi hija en una oferta Groupon. Tenía hamburguesas y una cerveza cada uno por 15. La comida era deliciosa, el ambiente era genial y el personal era servicial y amable. Definitivamente vale la pena el dinero y puedo recomendar este pequeño y encantador bar.

El ambiente era exactamente lo que estábamos buscando y no estaba demasiado ocupado, así que pudimos conseguir una mesa. El pescado y las patatas fritas estaban bien, pero no genial. Fueron servidos con guisantes machacados tradicionales pero no nos gustaron los guisantes de esa manera.

Cena molto gradevole in questo piccolo ma accogliente pub di Londra!! Avevamo acquistato un Groupon che comprendeva due panini con patatine e due bibite.. Ci siamo trovati benissimo..il panino era ottimo, gli ingredienti freschi e il personale molto gentile e disponibile! Una piacevolissima scoperta!!

We had a deal to come here. The pub is a bit tatty but has a nice enough atmosphere. Burgers are good with a choice of about 5. Bar staff friendly and sociable. There is a big gorilla sitting in the bay window which kind of obscured the view to the bus stop outside so probably a good thing. Good music too.

Popped in for something to eat as we had a Groupon voucher. So glad we did for £15 we had two burgers, chips and two bottles of beer. Which is great value. Next time I'm in London I will be popping back. 👍👍

Ambiente agradable y relajado. Menú limitado, con tristemente no hay platos principales para veganos en absoluto. Fingí que no había productos lácteos y huevos involucrados, y pedí una deliciosa "hamburguesa" y papas fritas de Portobello. Lamentablemente no había muchos hongos por el precio, pero venía con pesto en un sabroso bollo de brioche y las patatas fritas también eran geniales. Inútilmente pedí renunciar al queso del barco, que indudablemente también habría sido delicioso. Sí, tuve que cambiar a una dieta vegetariana predeterminada por conveniencia, lo cual sucede a menudo porque no soy militante. Oh bien.

I booked a table for 5 using my tastecard. I arrived first in pouring rain. I was given a warm welcome. My friends were a little delayed ( train trouble) but I was able to open a tab and they phoned through their orders to me and so drinks and nibbles were on the table when they arrived. We then had 5 hot tasty portions of fish and chips served in a very friendly manner and we happily managed to get to the theatre on time.

Asientos cómodos y puesta en marcha. 2 hamburguesas ordenadas con chips para morirse. Tuve el craft ale TP y esto lo coronó. Un pub de verdad.

El mono de latón es un pub. Es pequeño, abierto y ligero. No es tu típico pub inglés oscuro.

Il locale è ben fatto, carina l’atmosfera. Il personale è molto disponibile. Siamo andati con un Groupon molto vantaggioso che offriva due panini con due birre a scelta. Il panino è ben fatto, la carne buona e ben cotta. Le patatine anche sono ben servite e hanno un ottimo sapore. Seppur semplice è stata una nell’esperienza, nulla di negativo.

We had a really nice meal, with groupon vouchers, having the burger and beers. with this, as we were particularly hungry, we orders some sides of halloumi fries , giant onion rings and brie and chorizo. The sides were extremely good, and i would recommend if you are visiting, especially the halloumi fries which were delicious. The portion sizes were good, and we were left stuffed. I would say, however, that the vegetarian options ( a mushroom with goats cheese and pesto burger) was really yummy, but the mushroom failed to fill up half the bun, so left with a lot of bread without a lot of filling. I wonder if anyone else had the same? If i hadn't had the sides , i might have been left feeling slightly disappointed especially in comparison to the meet option, which was a very large meat patty which filled the whole brioche bun.

Got given a GroupOn deal as a present for here. Staff were very attentive to that, burgers were nice and got a bottle of beer with that too. Seemed to have a few good deals on considering it was World Cup season and central London. Seemed very reasonable to me.

We organised a group social here. Not perfect table-wise, but the service and staff were great. And the food was wonderful. Very nice ambience. A good venue.

This is a cozy, small pub with friendly, efficient service. The food (on this evening) was just OK. Not great, but not bad. We had a burger, The Brass Monkey Platter, and hummus. Would go back for a drink.

Nos conocimos por un catch-up y afortunadamente no demasiado ruidoso, pero la comida no dejes que el inconveniente: burger seco/cocidas, hamburguesa vegetal insípida, y bagel vegetariano, no tostado, no queso fundido, básico tranquilo. Que fácilmente podría ser mucho mejor. No como el pub, volvería pero no por la comida.

A group of us, mainly full time carers of loved ones with a rare teminal neurological condition, who had been corresponding via an internet support group for several years, decided to meet in person. The Brass Monkey was chosen as it was near Victoria Station in London. Most of us didn’t even know each other’s real name. The Brass Monkey had a great atmosphere and we all enjoyed the experience so much, we are meeting there again this month. It is a pub with simple but well cooked and presented simple pub food. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Only one disappointment, they didn’t serve coffee.

Así que vine desde el norte para una entrevista y encontramos este lugar. Buena ubicación, cerca de la estación, las bebidas eran baratas (bien por Londres normas fueron! £4. 90 que es exorbitante de aquí! ! ). Las bebidas eran de buena calidad. Y una buena relación calidad-precio. Ambiente agradable y un lugar popular en la tarde en un día laborable. Porque por ellos marcando sólo la comida a veces en el día y, por desgracia, tuve que dejar después de que empezaron a servir. Incluso si tenían un menú limitado (sándwiches, etc. por la tarde) creo que hubiera sido genial. El personal del bar era también muy amable y muy servicial.

Dicen hamburguesas son su plato, pero los que hoy eran tan recocido fueron muy seco y quemado en un lado. La pelea llegó fue quemada por un lado. Anillos de cebolla y patatas fritas, pero muy bueno porque todos los platos de la comida llegó en piedra fría la comida fría fuimos después de unos pocos minutos. La cocina no era ocupada, sólo había otra mesa había comida, así que no estoy seguro de lo que sucedió. Nadie preguntó cómo la comida era o bien durante la comida o después. Pasó por este pub para comer algo rápido antes de ver Wicked en el teatro Apolo. Fue una joyita de encontrar, acogedor, con decoración agradable y buen menú. El servicio fue rápido y la comida recién preparada y super caliente. Una buena selección de bebidas, en general, un fabuloso pequeño pub.

El Monkey burger es el ejemplo perfecto de lo que debería ser una hamburguesa. Sencillo y de buen gusto. Las patatas fritas haloumi son para morirse! Joya escondida del lugar es las 56 islas cerveza! Definitivamente algo que merece la pena probar!

Opciones en Vauxhall Bridge son limitados y el Brass Monkey está en la estación victoria final. Es un pequeño pub, ambiente agradable. Servicio rápido y uno que no huele y con muchos asientos.

Alquilamos el pub para una fiesta de cumpleaños el sábado pasado la calle 21 - no hay cargo adicional por alquiler, sólo un mínimo pasar. Es un lugar excelente para 40 - 60 personas y a sólo 5 minutos a pie de la estación de Victoria. Por tener todo el pub puede tener su propia música, decoración y comida - una opción mucho mejor que realizar una zona en un pub. El servicio era excelente - Janet y Nico nos cuidó muy bien, y la comida era deliciosa y a buen precio. Altamente recomendado.

Pub es guay, gran capacidad, si es tranquila, pero la comida no era una maravilla. El servicio fue bueno pero no alcohólicas bebida no opciones estupendas.

Metimos en una copa antes de ir a ver Wicked. Es un pequeño pub con unos 7 o 8 mesas así un verdadero ambiente acogedor. Bebidas no demasiado cara y había una buena selección. La camarera era servicial y atento. Sin duda volveré de nuevo si en la zona.

Este pub me sorprendió ya que me encantó el diseño y el ambiente y especialmente el mono burger que en realidad era de carne. Sin embargo, los palitos fritos halloumi cubiertas todo. Chapeau! !

Going to see Wicked, we checked the area for somewhere to eat first and found good reviews for the Brass Monkey. Only 2 minutes from the Apollo Victoria, the location was perfect and the good review s well deserved. This is a Victorian pub that has been tastefully modernised without losing that "old pub" feel that so often spoils similar places. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive and the food, although not extensive, was very good and well priced for Central London. The meat platter was a great starter for 4 at around £13. The burgers were under a tenner and had that homemade feel to them, with plenty of "proper" chips not in a little basket! Will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

We went to the Brass Monkey before a show at the Apollo Victoria, since it's quite close. The pub was lively but it had a nice atmosphere. The bartender was very friendly as well.We ordered beers, ciders and a "meat plate" to share. Everything was of good quality and we enjoyed it very much.

Located conveniently close to the Apollo Victoria, this is a great spot for a bit of dinner before a show. Try the veggie sharing platter as the sweet potato curry bites are freaking awesome. Great Swedish cider available too!

Had a nice weekend with my wife to see a show in London. This great pub has a nice little selection of beer, good atmosphere and a monkey burger is to die for. I was told the veggie burger is good too. Food is served at 6 however if you let them know you have a show they will get the food to you just after 6. So plenty of time to drink eat and walk to the Apollo. Toilets nice and clean and bar staff without being over the top. If you follow apple map stick to the main road do not go down the side road at the back as the door is locked.

We popped in before a meal and the theatre and loves the place. Very friendly and intimate surroundings. Food looked good but did not have, if you are in the area worth a visit.

Feeling a bit down today so what would put a smile on that face better than a burger at nearby pub. Brass Monkey is a very relaxing place to be when it is quiet but also has a livelier side. The food menu is small but good, I had a portobello burger, it was great. Reasonable prices and I left happy!

We went here to watch the Rugby World Cup and had a great time. The pub is not in a busy area and was quiet but there was some good interaction, some very friendly staff (a happy kiwi in this case!) and very nice craft beers.Overall a very pleasant afternoon and we will be back.

Went to lunch before going to see Wicked. Very slow to acknowledge us, but we thought this was due to the place just having opened. staff generally not interested in serving us. Ordered nachos to share which came out cold with barley melted cheese. Some one else had Fish and chips, if you could call the tiny thin bit of barley warm fish they had fish, and then found a hair in it after having eaten about half. And the meat sharing plate was completely missing the duck spring rolls.

As most people do we tried to get into the first few restaurants nearest to the Apollo Theatre for our recent visit and as we hadn't booked anything the wait was going to be too long...........we walked just a few yards further down the road and came across the Brass Monkey, what a find ! Our party consisted of 4 adults and 2 children , the food we had was excellent value esp in the heart of theatre land, I would most certainly go back there . A small menu but something for everyone and superbly presented , we had the sharing platters plus fries, we all had drinks ( the adults alcoholic ones) and the bill only came to £60 for the lot

Popped in here for a couple of glasses of wine. Served nicely chilled. I call it quirky because it looks like it once was a shop that has been converted. Very reasonably priced and has free wifi.
