My wife and I had not had anything to eat for 24 hours due to a hospital visit. We ventured from Lincoln hospital to Branston for our breakfast. We chose the largest full English available and almost passed out when we saw the size. The quality of the product was outstanding, everything was hot and perfectly cooked. I am 60 years old and have had very many breakfasts over the years but we both agreed that this was the very best by far. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the staff ( who we presume are the owners ) were very lovely and helpful. If you find yourself starving hungry, give it a go. We'll be back.

Went there for the first time the other day and can't recommend it enough. We wanted a couple of all day full English, one veggie and one normal, and were thoroughly impressed. Really friendly and personable staff as well as a very relaxed setting. I'll certainly be making a return visit whenever possible. PS - the photo on here is wrong, it shuts at 3pm.

Stopped here after cycling 35 miles as part of a 100 mile ride. On entering we were shouted at for going to the wrong counter, then proceeded to go to the correct counter where we were told we couldn't order as we weren't wearing masks. We said we would sit outside and could the lady come and take our order? They did not do table service. Eventually one member of the group found a mask and managed to order for us all. When our orders arrived they were all mixed up, some with no food, some with no drinks, and some wrong items. This was sorted fairly quickly. The assistants attitude was bad and we will not return. Surely at this time the hospitality industry would be encouraging not discouraging potential customers?

The outside tables would benefit from cleaning and a wood treatment. The children's sand pit contained dead leaves from the winter and was a concern as with no Cover it could be accessed by animals and birds.

Called in with my young children to meet a friend for lunch. Was very disappointed, the whole place was unclean and looked grubby. The highchairs were all filthy, despite the cafe only having one elderly couple in. My little one wanted to use the restroom and I was disgusted at the state of it. The food was practically inedible and very expensive. Wholly disappointed and couldn't get out quick enough. Will not be retuning.

Nice staff. Good basic cafe food. Exceptional ice cream! We just had a very late lunch one day there. I put mid-range price because it's not expensive but also it is not the nasty cheap & cheerful cafe.

Dropped in today for lunch on the way to Lincoln. The food is tasty and freshly prepared but the cafe lacks a little ambiance, as the plastic tablecloths and layout are a little reminiscent of a transport cafe. The staff were efficient and pleasant but could have done with smarting up and a clean apron.

Peckish and passing through Branston, the cafe was our only option at 15.00 of finding somewhere to eat. The girl that served us was friendly and helpful. For a small village cafe the choice was fairly varied. I had the homemade chilli, rice and salad. My wife opted for a bacon and mushroom bap and slice of tiffin. A couple of cups of tea and the bill was a very reasonable £12. Good service, value and food. Happy days......

The cafe has not closed down ! It has been closed for refurbishment. You maybe visited 3 times but clearly didn't get out of your car or take note of the sign on the door that explained this. I visit maybe once a month with friends. Always been happy with the food and service. Lovely little corner with toys and books for children too.

There's a good selection of snack and small meal options here at the Branston Cafe but we only go for the cooked breakfast. It comes with tea and toast and is served in a hectic-free setting at the heart of the village. Not much to add really, except that we'll definitely keep coming back for weekend delights.

Having stayed for a week with a friend in Branston, a charming village, we decided to have lunch out at The Branston Cafe on the last day of my visit. The Cafe was light clean & airy with a nice vibe. We both plumped for a Coronation Chicken Salad which included every salad vegetable imaginable!! It was utterly yummy!! This was with a steaming cuppa, followed by a slice of home made lemon cake & butter toffee icecream, oink oink! I also bought a homemade sausage roll for my train journey the following day which was to die for :)

Had a Sunday morning stroll to Branston and after a year of driving past nearly every day, decided to pop in for a cuppa. Very pleasantly surprised by the range on offer and the lovely bacon roll which we managed to be persuaded into trying. Good choice of cakes, ice creams, milkshakes etc and overall a very good local find. Nice friendly lady serving and would definitely recommend the cafe!

It's nice to go out for a full cooked breakfast now and again, and dawdle over coffee and the newspaper. I had to go into Lincoln one morning and thought I'd find a cafe there. Passing through Branston I saw the Branston Cafe and thought I'd give it a try.The cafe itself is pretty basic, and has parking directly outside. The menu is definitely at the greasy spoon end of the scale as opposed to a Michelin star. Helpful and pleasant young lady seeing to food behind the counter took my order for a full cooked plus black coffee and I sat down with the newspaper and started reading.A huge cup of very reasonable black coffee appeared after a few minutes - good quality filter coffee - and a few minutes later again, breakfast. Two large rashers of excellent quality back bacon, two proper Lincolnshire sausages (i.e. from a butcher, not those grey paste-filled things from supermarkets and cash-n-carries), a well cooked and fresh fried egg, mushrooms, plum tomatoes and baked beans, with two slices of toast with butter.Thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing, and paid £4 for the breakfast. Coffee was extra but the whole thing was under £6 which I reckoned to be great value. The Branston Cafe is now firmly on the list of cafes that the Gentlemens' Breakfasting Committee (from our local pub) will be attending en masse one weekend soon. The experience was helped along by it being a glorious day, and by the WW2 Avro Lancaster bomber from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight based at RAF Coningsby doing long, low, lazy banking turns over Branston - 3 times in all. You have to hear the sound of that aircraft to believe it. And there was me without my camera.

As soon as we walked into the Stone Arms, both my wife and I, was greeted by the waitress/bar maid, who was so polite, charming and very welcoming. She showed us to our table and even though we were early, as our names were reserved the night before, there was no concern so we ordered our drinks. There was no rush to order, and the place was full with customers both in the restaurant and the bar. Our starters arrived and were lovely, fresh and delicious. We ordered the small Sunday dinners (small they were not), they were cooked to perfection with the cauliflower cheese sauce to die for. I was so full that I elected for a coffee. My wife ordered the apple crumble for dessert (I did taste a small bit - very yummy). All in all a wonderful experience. Staff were very lovely and so polite. Smiles all around. In my opinion, and I have been to all the restaurants in Lincoln, it was the best and we both thoroughly recommend you book. My only issue? ? Parking! The car park was full. But plenty of side streets to park in. Highly recommended.

Tonight was my second visit since the White Hart has changed hands and most certainly won't be my last. There is a lovely warm welcome and ambience to the place that really shows that they care. The food on both visits has been amazing, as has the service. It's definitely worth a try..

We were travelling from Yorkshire to Norfolk and my partner needed toilet stop. We called here and were told toilets are strictly for paying customers only. A bit too bad for disabled people.
