the food was amazing, cheryl and kats service was beyond perfect. Food came out promotly and was nice and hot and steak was cook amazing.

Nice staff but slow service on a day which wasn't obviously busy. And the menu was decimated with no Burgers or Fish. Alleged technical issues re the fish fryer but who runs out of beef burgers? Food was pretty bland but reasonable value for the price we paid.

I went to Brewers Fayre in Brampton Hut. Our waitress was Sally and she was very friendly and attentive, will definitely be returning in the future. The food was wonderful and came quickly!

Felt sure I’d read there would be vegan bacon and sausages available for breakfast but when I asked the only option was a vegetarian sausage. Vegetarian is not vegan…..

Brewers fayre, you know you will find something on the menu and a drink! Lily was very attentive with table service with a friendly smile and banter.

Went with family to have the Sunday carvery. Excellent food as usual. We were served by Daniel and he went above and beyond to make our meal special. Congratulations on having such a dedicated employee, he is a credit to the company

This place is so hit and miss one time it’s great another it is poor. We went for a Sunday dinner and although the meat was nice they had run out of several veg and just replace with several different types of potatoes. They could really do with adding a better variety of vegetables other than too many carbs. It is still good value though. Service depends on who is on shift also. When Cheryl is there she runs a good shift and works really hard when she is not there things don’t seem to work.

I called into Brampton without a booking. I was greeted by Sally, and she was very welcoming and friendly. Sally explained the process of helping yourself but recognised that o had a disability and said that she was more than happy to help if I needed it. I very much appreciate that as I am disabled and was on my own. I was shown to me table. I requested poached egg, Sally said not a problem and went off to get them. Whilst I was at the servery, Sally noticed me there and asked if I was OK and if I needed any help. I declined, but it was so nice to have been offered the help. I went to get some toast and a coffee. To save me having to make 2 trips, I asked a young chap, his name was Luke, if he would take me coffee to my table, he said of course, no problem and took my coffee for me. It is so nice to receive help and not make it feel like you are an inconvenience. The poached eggs were perfect! Thank you for a great visit today.

At least once a month we visit our grandchildren for the weekend and will have Sunday breakfast together at this restaurant. The friendly service, food availability and quality of this breakfast is A+ and I highly recommend this restaurant. This past Sunday we visited and the expectation of the above was excellent. If you want good honest food and a pleasant atmosphere, this is the place to go, particularly if your server is Sally who is a great ambassador for the brand!

Welcomed in and sat down quickly, lovely and warm and clean inside. Drinks order swiftly taken, once drinks arrived food order taken. A good recommendation from the waitress, who was super sweet in her comments on my son’s pictures of his pets (he insisted on bringing the pics to dinner). Short wait on food, all lovely and hot too. Pointed out a leaking bathroom tap to the server, who thanked me and explained they know about it, The bill was very modest and didn’t break the bank!

Staff are lovely even when busy they try the best to make sure you are looked after Sally or server was very polite explained there was a wait on food but food came out quickly very plesent experience definitely recommend

Arrived was greeted with a smile and warm welcome served by Jamie food was really delicious and good for prices arrived in good time and was good that colouring was offered to my daughter which she enjoyed doing while waiting for her food to arrive

Sally was lovely, very welcoming and helpful. Restaurant was clean and tidy, and the food was well cooked. Limitless top-ups of soft drinks (we had diet Coke) was a nice touch. I've awarded 4 stars rather than 5 because the restaurant wasn't easy to find (we'd not been there before) - it's hidden behind the Premier Inn, and the signage was terrible.

We were served on the door by Sally, she was very pleasant and welcoming from the off and throughout. The food was really tasty and we felt very well looked after having a pleasant meal. Would highly recommend this brewers fayre.

Nice layout with several separate seating areas. Vicki was our friendly server and she looked after us very well. Portions are generous and we enjoyed it all. The meal deal was very good value and the house wine was very nice.

Had a table reserved for dinner by the neighbouring Premier Inn. Waited for 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged we were there. Lots of staff doing things but no one bothered to even say hello. It took 20 minutes to get drinks and half an hour...

Came for Father's day and had lunch with my parents, we were quickly seen to with a warm welcome from the host and then taken down the restaurant to be seated in a lovely windowed area with a view of the outside garden. We were given time to settle and then our server, Craig came over and took a drinks order for us, offering to take a food order once we were ready. Although the restaurant was full, because of Father's day, the food came out hot and in good time, with Craig coming over to check everything was okay and if he could do anymore for us. We had a fantastic meal and it really made the day a whole lot more special and I would strongly recommend!!!

I came here for dinner with my partner last night very polite staff a member named jade seated us to our table and even offered table service instead of going up to the bar, highly recommend amazing food great atmosphere. We will definitely come back again.

Habiendo visitado varios Bewers puin el pasado estaba esperando a ser el mismo. Llegamos el viernes antes de las 6:30 pm regla, que me pareció que estaba al otro lado de la junta con esta cadena hotelera y nos dijeron que acabó 5,00 estuvimos allí así que no hay dos en 5,15 por £10 comidas. nos preguntó si ha estado en este pub antes pero dijo que no había estado en varios otros cerveceros de respuesta y que no hay ningún contacto desde entonces. Instó a que el pollo buffet cosa ya que ya estaba preparado. Mi marido y mi hija decidió que mientras mi otra hija y yo pedí una hamburguesa de pollo y un pollo cubiertas comida . También hemos decidido en una bandeja como entrante.

Lo suficientemente agradable entorno a pesar de estar en el perímetro de una estación de servicio. Pub grub estándar de Bogotá. Un montón de avispas por dentro y por fuera.

Nos lo pasamos muy bien y el desayuno era especialmente buena. Al día siguiente nos fuimos para el pescado y papas fritas especiales del chef ya que era un viernes. El pescado resultó ser diminutos trozos de pescado en pasta prueba de balas. Nos pareció que el batido incomible, pero nos las arreglamos para raspar un poco de pescado desde dentro. Por suerte, era un "comer tanto como quieras" ofrecen, así que tuvimos muslo de pollo picantes, que estaban bien

Pensamos que nos gustaría probar una visita a un pub en el agua, en un día soleado. Caminamos a la zona exterior con vistas a la marina. Una escena de devastación nos dio la bienvenida. Las mesas una pila de sobras, vasos sucios, moscas, repugnantes olores, etc. que uno puede solidarizarán en 3,30 , pueden haber tenido un almuerzo muy concurrido los domingos, pero ya que nos quedamos allí con asombro en las horribles lugares antes que nosotros, vimos un número de personal trayendo comida, y volver caminando con manos vacías. Es realmente difícil de trabajar esa? Nos fuimos. Gestión inútil y formación.

He comido en Brewers Fayre es previamente por lo que el menú es que lo mismo. Al entrar en el restaurante que fue creado por una señora muy servicial y atenta que me enseñó mi asiento. (Creo que ella era el director). Ella era la única cosa positiva que puedo decir de este lugar. Tarda una eternidad en orden mi comida, ya que sólo había una persona detrás de la barra. Luego se llevó las edades para mi comida para llegar y luego sólo me dijeron que después de 20 minutos que se les había acabado de mi plato, así que tuve que elegir otro. Después de comer mi plato, se tardó 30 minutos a mi principal llegar (que fue después preguntar al personal, que a mi impresión no parecía que tenía una idea de lo que estaba ocurriendo). Así que, en general, una muy mala experiencia. Creo que así de formación en servicio al cliente puede beneficiar a este restaurante y poner la atención al cliente en el centro de la experiencia.

Fui con mi esposa en el miércoles ya que hemos estado en otras Brewers fayres para el desayuno y nos gustó mucho, ya que era servir desayuno.. Por alguna razón no aquí puedes pedir lo que quieres con una camarera que nadie volvió y dijo que puedo hacer todo lo demás.

Eat here last night, and must say the place was fairly quite but it took an age to get served, I ordered the mixed and although everything tastes good the portions of each item was on the small side, compared to similar establishments

We arrived at around 9:30 p.m. Staff we're cleaning round ready to go, ok but not overly friendly. Breakfast in the morning had a good choice and the lady who greeted us was very friendly.

This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. We pre-booked for 3 days via its associated hotel. The first night, my steak was vastly over-cooked and like boot leather. For the first time ever, I sent food back. The replacement was cooked as I'd asked, but was still like boot leather, albeit softened compared to the previous effort. The guy at the next table said his steak on the previous evening had been as bad.The next day, another table sent two meals back (out of 6) after waiting 40 minutes to be served. The staff lost the order of another table, and this problem continued on the other night we were there. One of the two fried fish deals (Atlantic Cod) was unavailable as they had run out of the fish, though the other fried fish dish (Fish and Chips) was available. Our desserts took 40 minutes to arrive, and then only because we reminded the waitress.On the last night, they now had the Atlantic Cod, but not the Fish and Chips. People who came in well after us (we'd booked a specific time) were served well before us. I tried to order a banana split, but they'd run out of bananas. And they continued to lose orders.To summarise, the food was poor, the service was hopeless, they ran out of things, and they lost orders. The only reason we went back for nights 2 and 3 was that we had pre-booked (and pre-paid) through the adjacent Premier Inn. We won't make that mistake again, and we won't go back here again.

I was on my way up to Lincoln, with two friends, for the weekend.Driving up from London, we stopped at Brewers Fayre Brampton Hut for a break and to get some breakfast.I'd not stopped here before and found the service to be friendly and more then just decent.The food was good and replenished quickly enough, although there was a bit of a queue for coffee/tea mugs.I ordered porridge and poached eggs, which were delivered in good time.The cost of £8.75 for a full English breakfast buffet was very reasonable, and given the quality I was happy to pay it.Well done to all staff, both seen and unseen.

Visited the Premier Inn with my family for the wedding of my niece and decided to call in for breakfast on the Saturday and the Sunday at a cost of £8.75 each??First day, paid up in advance (You would not have paid at the end as just awful and it got worse)Firstly, paid for food on the Saturday and sat down, great table... Then went to get food... No bacon, no eggs, no beans, no mushrooms.... Waited for 10 minutes, eggs arrived, 5 more minutes the bacon, the were told another 10 minutes for beans and mushrooms, by which time sausages were cold and a line of 15 people waiting for food... My son as a veggie ordered special sausages... arrived as we were leaving the table!!!Second day, arrived an hour later.... queued for paying, eventually found a table..... Queue for food..... similar issue, no cups for coffee or tea...WHAT!!?? 15 minute wait, 3 cups arrived..... we had to go to the hotel to get cups out of our rooms to get coffee... an absolute farce and refused refund....Would I recommend, not until hell freezes over

Ordered steak and mixed grill that arrived about 35 minutes later, there were many empty tables it was not really busy at all, could not understand why it took so long. When the food arrived the steaks were overcooked and very tough.There was one barman on and at times 6 people waiting to be served. Would not go back.

Brewers Fayre is not my favourite style of Premier Inns restaurants. I dislike having to open a tab at bar in order to get food. I resent the implication that I would leave without paying! However having said that, the barman who took our order was charming, the food came quite quickly delivered by a cheerful server and my steak was not only cooked as requested but was both tasty and tender.

I visited this restaurant on a saturday morning wanting a quick stop off on a long journey for a couple of coffees and a hot chocolate. The restaurant was clearly busy serving breakfast to the attached hotel. There seemed a fair amount of confusion from those staying at the hotel about where to sit and how to get food. We had a long wait at the bar to get served as the waiting staff were focused on serving breakfast. We paid for our drinks and were handed a sachet for our hot chocolate and directed to a costa coffee machine to make it and our coffees. There were no mugs left. When we finally got the attention of a waiter we were told to use glasses as there were no mugs left. My hot chocolat did not mix at all when the water was added but once stirred it was ok. The coffees on the other hand were undrinkable! They looked like weak bisto gravy! The waitress suggested we top it up with an espresso shot. This barely helped. My parents left their drinks and we left. Costa Coffee should be ashamed to put their name to that "coffee". Avoid this place if you can! Poor service and organisation.

Brewer's Fayre Brampton Hut restaurant is located just off the junction of the A1 and A14 trunk roads. To get there with a SatNav use the postcode PE28 4NQ for the McDonalds next door. My partner and I stopped off for Sunday lunch at 3.30pm and found it to be not too busy. There are plenty of tables inside and some outside on the lawn where people were mostly drinking and smoking. We had the carvery with turkey, beef, gammon and vegetarian to choose from (you can have some from each if you want). The turkey was good, the gammon looked great, as did the beef, but it was a bit tough with plenty of vegetables to help yourself to. For dessert we has the chocolate brownie with chocolate fudge sauce and ice cream - delicious!

Cheerful staff, good semi-private area for our party. Not keen on the 'pay at counter before you eat' system, thought that was only for fast food places these days. Service was a little slow - no reason for this as the restaurant was only half full. The waiter got some of our meals wrong but sorted that out immediately. The carvery was reasonable, beef far too dry and very overcooked but other meats okay. Fair selection of vegetables, not overcooked or watery.Has as good range of midweek meal offers. Overall not a bad visit, suitable for a casual lunch if you have time to wait for it.

Despite booking a table (essential!), the service was so slow, and the food had to be returned the first time as it was not hot enough, I was still eating late. To be fair, the second plate, though it took ages to arrive, was piping hot and tasted fairly good. And I was offered a coffee while I waited, so they redeemed themselves. I was not the only person complaining that evening.

stopped here for a quick meal on our way to London. We were not expecting miracles,especially having seen some of previous reports. However, we were met by a very helpful and friendly server (James) who gave us a choice of tables and explained the ordering system. We were in a hurry so went for the 'fish and chip night buffet' where you help yourself to a range of chip shop standards (eat as much as you want) . There was a reasonable range of food available, and not being a great fan on batter covered deep fried food, I went for the chicken with chips. The chicken was moist and tender, and the chips of good chip shop quality. Veg limited to peas or mushy peas, but for the price it was good value. We found the service v good and attentive; though we did notice it has become increasingly busy by the time we left, and there was quite a queue to order food, so maybe we were lucky with our timing. All in all, we would go again for a quick meal - you dont expect cordon bleu for those prices !

Not eaten here before and as just off the train to Huntingdon decided to drive over and give it a try. It has a varied pub menu though all the deals seem targeted to midweek with nothing obvious as a deal for the weekend. I had the mixed grill my wife had the steak and both seemed to take a little time to come but was where well cooked and presented when they came. No complaints but probably wouldn't go out of my way to go there again.

This restaurant is a Brewers Fayre and was disappoiting in several regards.SERVICE: A member of the bar staff was quite rude when I ordered my meal - I had forgotten to get table number which is totally my own fault, however her response was "How am I supposed to know where to take the food?" - which was aggressive and unprofessional.FOOD: My starter (nachos) was promptly served - however I then had to wait 45 minutes for my burger to arrive - and when it did, the chips were soggy/warm, the onions rings soggy and the meal itself tepid, suggesting it had been waiting for some time.APPEARANCE: The layout of the restaurant is welcoming - wood panelling, comfortable tables however the presentation of the food (even allowing for the fact this is a Brewers Fayre) the food looked untify and thrown together, The mayonnaise I ordered was piled high in a little bowl and was running down the sides. This did not look good.I was on the verge of walking out due to the length of wait for my main course. If I stay in the Premier Inn here again, I would choose to eat somewhere else.

Brewers Fayre maybe isn't foodie perfection to most but generally there's is a standard of good food served quickly and in nice pub grub style surroundings at a price that's not going to break to bank.Firstly the location was good, The actual place looked okay.The organisation on being seated very poor, almost non existent when we arrived and we were left mulling around while we were forgotten about, felt very unwelcoming actually. We finally reminded them we were waiting for a table 15 mins later, where we were seated and saw clearly there were lots of empty tables.The staff looked a mix of under pressure and unsure of what they were doing with some indifference to boot. I suspect there maybe the few making this place run, but not well or under pressure.Table not clean, sticky etc, food came and although the starter were at best ok, the mains were poor and cold. This was pointed out and I was amazed to hear the waitress explain why the BBQ sauce was congealed. It's meant to be that way, really, no it not. The ribs were cold and whole dish had spent way too much time under the warming lamp. (Not doing much warming by the looks of things)It was sent back but the manager came apologised and took it off the bill. It was appreciated and although he offendered the complete bill, we insisted the starters were fine as were the drinks so we insisted that was paid for. We came for a good meal not a free one.Bottom line is they could do better and hopefully the back of house will be able to raise the bar.

My wife and I had an excellent mid-week lunch at the Brampton Hut. It was relatively quiet, so we hoped for prompt service - and were not disappointed. We chose two meals from the 2 for £10 menu (smothered chicken, freshly cooked, well presented) and 2 desserts for an amazing £2.50 (caramel apple Betty, nice and hot with good custard). With free-refill soft drinks, this really represents extremely good value for money. Recommended.

Had dinner, ordered wings and the big beef burger. Wings were ok but burger was horrible. Meat was over cooked tasted bland. Chips were scattered about the plate cannot call them a portion. The buffet looked cold and not Fresh.

Visited on a Sunday evening to get a buy one get one free offer. Service was a bit slow but the place was packed. However the waitress was very attentive. The quality of the food was good and it was good value for money.

Visited Brewers Fayre restaurant co-located with the Premier Inn at Brampton on Sunday for breakfast. Although we were not staying in the hotel we all had a hearty family breakfast. There were 5 adults and two small children and a large table for 10 was provided.Premier inn offer an all you can eat breakfast for £8.95 each which includes full continental and english cooked service. At this restaurant the english cooked breakfast is served buffet style, but the chets ensured the food was kept updated, fresh and hot. Being Sunday we opted to start our breakfast at 10am and there was still lashings of hot bacon and sausage with freshly cooked eggs.This was a very pleasant way to start the Sunday and we all had a thoroughly good time.I could easily recommend this restaurant.

I was taken to this restaurant for my birthday - 6 people in the party. We chose a varied selection of food which considering it was busy did not take too long to come. We did have to ask for a couple of extras which weren't offered but the staff were very helpful overall and didn't rush us in any way. We were pleased to have the unlimited free coffees and the children were able to play outside as we were able to see them through the windows. The food was good and nice and hot and we all enjoyed it very much.

The food was good quality and piping hot on each occasion. There was plenty of choice with something to please everyone. Service was friendly and prompt, without making us feel rushed. I would definitely eat here again and would recommend this restaurant.

Saturday night was our 3rd visit here and probably the last. Our 1st visit about a year ago was good. Our 2nd visit this summer was average and yesterday was poor. The sparkling wine wasn't cold - more like room temperature and the 1st glass which was returned, was filthy and covered in someone else's lipstick. The quiche was neither hot or cold and the 'signature pie' dish wasn't what was shown in the menu photo. The pie meal was lovely and hot but the filling was mostly onions and gravy with just a few pieces of meat. The staff were polite but a bit over-friendly and need to pay more attention to basic waiting skills and not pestering diners with raffle tickets as soon as they sit down.We feel the whole attitude towards paying quests needs attention.

For both of my last two visits they got my order wrong and my partner had almost finished his meal before mine was corrected. On one occasion they questioned why I wanted it changing, because it wasn't what I ordered of course. The apple crumble has hardly any crumble, done in a ramekin so that to add the custard and/or allow it to cool it has to be tipped out. The loo cubicles in one set of loos are so small a slit is cut in the door so the seat of the loo will slide through. The other loos need a good clean, they have brown lime scale down them. The staff can be heard complaining about their jobs. I used to enjoy breaking my journey here, not any more. No one comes to ask if everything is OK.

This is the worst restaurant I have been to. I have been to many Premier Inns and have always looked forward to going to the adjacent restaurant. However if you are looking forward to good service, good food and atmosphere then do not visit here.The service is a complete joke. I believe they treat the customers with contempt - you will wait so long for food you may lose the will to live. And even when it arrives it will hardly win any medals.And for the business person - no newspapers, no magazines or reading matter. So it is very poor compared to other Premier Inn restaurants. I will never go back.

This restaurant was aTable Table when first opened and is attached to the Premier Inn next door. Since becoming a Brewers Fayre there has been some obvious changes including becoming essentially order at the bar. That in itself poses no problem as service is normally quicker than ordering at the table. Anyway, we are regulars at Brampton but the service profile has definitely deteriorated over time. The staffing levels are minimal and whilst the food service is very good once ordered, actually getting the food ordered and paying for it at the end has become something of a nightmare. Today for instance, it was long queues and a 10 minute wait to pay & leave. Not only that but we had Sunday Carvery and the included tomato soup had been seriously watered down.Coupled with a strawberry shortcake sundae that my wife had there on Tuesday - without the shortcake, we are coming to the conclusion that there needs to be a management review of how this place is run.It's a real shame - this place is conveniently located at the junction of the A1 & the A14 so easy for us top stop on the way through - but is beginning to lose it's shine. Come on Whitbread, get a grip.

Stopped off for a break on a journey up the A1. My sandwich and chips was ok - the chips were fried slices of potato rather than chips but no worse for that. It was ok - what can I say. Sat outside because the weather was fabulous - just a bit noisy with the road close by. Tried to make a phone call but couldn't hear myself let alone the other person. Don't break your neck to go but it's alright.

We pulled off the A14 (junction with A1) and found a good place to stop for lunch with 2 children (13 & 11). The food was good value with some extra promotional prices and we all enjoyed our fish & chips (cod!), scampi, macaroni cheese & beef burger. The 'free refills' Pepsi and reasonable priced wine available in 50cl carafe made the whole visit enjoyable.

Food is decent, I enjoyed the Cod fish & chips plate, and Curry night was quite decent and especially well priced (7.49 Gbp)

Have been here on many occasions and it has been ok but recently been on 2 separate occasions for breakfast and its been horrendous, including on the last visit raw sausages and when reporting this to the manager we got the reply 'what do you want me to do', obviously we didn't pay but there was no apology or anything from the manager, she just kept telling us she didn't know how it happened as all the items are temperature probed. Would not recommend.

Just off the A14 - it is connected to a Primer Inn - it was a great place and all you can eat style. Staff was friendly - menu was good - price was reasonable. Would recommend it.

We went for family meal and wish we had not the food was terrible as was the wait!! Garlic bread was burnt underneath as in black, one of our party had chicken which was done to death and they offered replacement which took 15 mins to come back out and they bought out the same plate of food with a slightly less cremated piece of chicken! The steak was again cremated and tough as old boots and the lamb shanks had not been anywhere near an oven other than a microwave were again tough and over cooked - Disappointing and try charging more for your meals and pay a decent chef to cook food which is actually edible! To be fair we were not charged for the meal that was sent back and a free desert was offered also with an apology.

We were staying at the Premier Inn next door to this very well presented and welcoming restaurant. We arrived from home and decided to have lunch before hitting Cambridge. The carvery was the best I had eaten in many years, the meat was succulent and the vegetables very well laid out and hot, offered also was a bowl of soup and roll within the price of £9.99 each. After our visit in Cambridge we decided to eat in the restaurant that night and again we were very happy with our food and service, the menu offered a great variety to choose from. Within our hotel deal we had breakfast included and again couldn't have asked for better. Loads of choices and a hearty fulfilling breakfast, just what was needed before setting out on our day. Thank you Brewers Fayre staff for the very good service and very good food offered throughout our weekend.
