Bradley's fish and chips in Hambleton

What's happened to the portion size? Now much less than before the recent closure. 😢 staff still really pleasant though.

Fish and sausage were cold, chips were warm! Service was not good! Slow with service, they don't know what they're doing! Not impressed, white horse have sorted they're service skills!

The new cook needs to understand not to argue with a customer. It was raw, undercooked wether you have been doing it for 30yrs or not.

Great place. Quality fresh food. Generous portions and reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Decent menu with something for everyone. My favourite chippy.

These are absolutely great fish and chips as the large amount of people waiting inside and outside will tell you. It is well worth the wait as the food is spot on - lovely crispy batter and delicious chips. The prices are reasonable and the staff very efficient.

A most welcome addition to the town where overpriced and variable quality fish and chips were the norm. All meals are freshly cooked whilst you wait - ergo no fish being under heat light for long periods. A range of meals to suit all appetites. The quality of the meals and the pricing is first class. The only downside is that their is leakage from the boxes, so do not place on car seat on the way home. If Carlsberg made fish and chips they would probably be inferior to Bradley’s. Well worth a visit for a well priced and first class product.

Went on Wednesday Evening on 2/8/2023 at about 6.oclock. Looked to be about ten people waiting on orders and a couple in the queue to order. Don't let that put you off because possible the best fish and chips in town and great value for money. £7.50 for what I consider a large fish and a good portion of chips. Good Onion rings as well. The staff were working hard getting the orders out. And the queue cleared quickly. Worth the wait. We will be back...

Popped into Bradleys on a Friday night after work. The shop was jammed with people and I had to ask where the queue was. Once in the queue order my food and was given a number and waited. The shop got busier and busier and it was hard to find somewhere to stand. Got my food after about 15 minutes. My hubby said his fish and chips were lovely and my chicken nuggets and chips were very good. Brilliant value for money as well. However I would be put off returning due to the crowding in the shop and the long wait. The girls behind the counter were working their a***s off so no criticism there. I think a system is needed with a proper queue and waiting area. If I do return it may be during the week when hopefully not too busy.

Fish and Chips for £7.50 and a good portion of both! Very tasty indeed and thoroughly recommended. Loses a point because it was served in a box as I hate that - bring back newspaper!!! Otherwise, couldn't be much better. What is this ridiculous box trend????

These were potentially the best fish and chips o have ever had. The batter was light and crispy and the fish cooked perfectly and the chops spot on. A great, we’ll sized, meal for 7 pounds 50 pence.

By far and away the best fish and chip shop in Northallerton. They have a good selection catering for young, old, small and large appetites. Their batter is light and crispy, the chips are of Whitby quality and you get excellent portions. The customer service is also superb. A small mistake was rectified with zero fuss and maximum satisfaction. I'm fortunate to live 5 minutes away from Bradley's but I won't go anywhere else in Northallerton now.

Our first visit to this new Take Away due to being less than impressed by the nearby established Fish & Chip shop recently. Bradley's was excellent! Their 'Specials' (not offered by most others locally) were the largest we have ever seen. Not only overhanging our dinner plates, but thick, white and broad with a delicious light batter. The chips were also beautiful and piled into the box. Without doubt in our opinion "The Best in Town"
