We have just had the most delicious Rib Eye steak from Boycott Farm Shop. Great discussion with the owner about best cuts and safe to say it was amazing. Thank you, should have taken a picture but it smelt too good to wait 🥰🥰

Although the sign at the entrance says it's a cafe, it now only does takeaway food and drink. My wife and I discovered this today after driving there for a cup of tea and a snack. We were quite disappointed that it isn't as advertised.

What a great little find. A friend and myself ventured here after a gym workout. I had a hot chocolate and particularly asked for it to be extra hot and the staff member was most obliging. I also had a bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich-it was gorgeous.! The shop itself offers lots of choices of nice home-cooked food and locally sourced products. We sat outside. It’s a bit basic and perhaps could have some improvements with umbrellas and make it a little bit more ambience. That being said, I would go back !

Boycott Farm Shop is pleasingly rustic. In a time when such establishments are tending to become vast, modern warehouses full of upmarket gifts and overpriced cakes, Boycott is still a small, stone-built establishment in a proper working farmyard, down a winding country lane near Buckingham. In the shop they offer a surprisingly large range of food, fresh and frozen, most of which has been made on the premises. This includes many tempting ready-made dishes plus sausages, pies, cakes and desserts etc. I had a scotch egg for lunch and took away a sausage dish with onions and red wine, topped with cheesey mash and chives. I had an individual banoffee pie for dessert. Every item was absolutely top notch. Delicious! The shop also sells a selection of other quality items - wines, beers and spirits, greetings cards, fruit and veg. etc. At the moment the cafe is closed but I look forward to lunching there once the owners feel it safe to re-open. I should note that the excellence of the homemade fayre comes at a price. However, I would say in this case that you get what you pay for.

I've been going to the Boycott Farm shop for a number of years. Great food including, lasagnes, fish pies, cooked and fresh meats, bread, cakes, eggs and stellar sausage rolls and Scotch eggs. All manner of other Deli goodies too. I recently made a fairly large order to cater for a family event. The order process was really easy and food was all ready at the designated time. Dropped in for lunch after visiting Stowe Gardens. My wife and I decided to go for the specials menu - £10 for one course and a drink. We both opted for the Pheasant casserole and mashed potato which was super - very tastey and a very good sized portion. Service was efficient and friendly. After lunch we looked around the farm shop which had a large selection of 'goodies', particularly the ready meals at very reasonable prices.

The food and location were lovely. The staff tried a bit too hard to be helpful and came across as overbearing rather than friendly. They involved themselves in the conversation within our family about what to order and offered my daughter an ice cream when I was just going to share my cake with her. I fell for that, and also fell for ordering drinks without asking what they cost. The cake prices are displayed at the counter but not the drink prices as far as I could see. I only realised afterwards that we had been charged a fiver for two glasses of ordinary milk in plastic cups for the kids. I also discovered we were charged £1.50 for the custard my husband was offered with his cake. I had got the impression from the way it was offered that it would be free, but it brought the price of his cake up to a round fiver. I don't want to put anyone off going because it is a good quality cafe, but if you're on a budget be careful.

Went for lunch mid-week. As ever, plenty of interesting choices, served cheerfully and pretty fast considering it's real food. My only note of caution is that the portions were enormous (and I am not known for picking at my food...). So that's definitely a good "fault". I had a filled jacket, served with a really fresh side salad. Salad dressing was produced immediately on request. No room for anything else but had a very good coffee. Had just been on one of my regular visits to Stowe and usually go into Buckingham for lunch. On a whim decided to visit Boycott - my first time. Wow! Had lunch in such a pretty space in the loft - fairy lights, lovely decor. Spoiled for choice with the well priced menu; went for sausage roll with coleslaw and salad - delicious; my friend has the beef sandwiches - also delicious - sadly she's not a sharer with food!! Finished off with carrot cake, washed down with tea. Won a Boycott Farm carrot cake in a church cake sale and have to say, I think Boycott does the best ever carrot cake, moist and generous with the topping. Fantastic place to stop off for lunch. Definitely going back for more! Shop is full of yummy looking things to entice. Went home with nougat and fresh egg. Set your SatNav as down a series of narrow lanes, but so worth it - especially if you have friends you want to take somewhere with a lovely, cosy atmosphere.

I've eaten here a few times but this last time I was very disappointed. The menu had changed and I think the prices had increased. The food was tasty but not worth the money paid. Couldn’t be a more apt name, as we won’t be returning. Walked into the shop, several staff behind counter, not one customer and still we weren’t acknowledged. Picked up two bottles of juice, took them to the coffee machine counter, to be told you need to go to other till (unmanned by the way), so of course you head to one with staff behind?? Paid, proceeded outside and sat down on some small tables and chairs, (nobody else was there until one cyclist sat down) were 7 or 8 of these tables outside the shop. A member of staff came out with a manager badge on and proceeded to tell us that the tables were for customers?? Apparently we had bought the overpriced juice from the shop thus not making us a sit down customer but a takeaway customer. I have worked in hospitality all my life and have never been spoken to so rudely. Not surprising it was dead, looking at the reviews I can see this is a common occurrence. Tables weren’t even clean or nice. A customer is a customer, shoddy, unwelcoming and would not recommend!

I visited on a cold January morning, for breakfast. Having driven for a couple of hours, I was well ready for a grand nosh-up. A cheery welcome led to a table right at the back of the gallery restaurant area, pokey and not welcoming, as I was alone but for a couple of coffee-ing ladies who had the prime seat at the front of the gallery, they soon left. It was, also, not warm, so I had to go and get my coat on. A prompt cup of Cappuccino followed by a long wait finally brought breakfast. Every thing was of the best quality and perfectly cooked. I was offered a slice of brown toast with butter, but no marmalade, jam or honey. Another Cappuccino and then the bill...£15.00. Now, I knew it was expensive, having looked it up on line, but £15.00 and only one slice of toast and no jam? For that kind of money I was expecting ALL the bits to go with it and perhaps a bottomless coffee pot (well, two cups, anyway). So, yes, very good, but VERY expensive.

Enjoyed breakfast at the Boycott Tea Room (Hayloft Restaurant) with my family (husband, myself, two kids ages 8 and 10). Sat up in the hayloft (so it is appropriately named) and enjoyed seeing how they had renovated an old barn into a cute tearoom. Food was good -- had the full English breakfast. My kids wanted a sweet baked good with their breakfast and the staff obliged even though they found the request to be a bit strange (this would not be the last time in England that we encountered questions about our American habit of eating sweets with breakfast). I had the burger with cheese which was very nice and unusually came in a small bread roll. Very tasty. The place also has a really nice little shop with fresh food,

The Five Elms in Weedon - a village which is particularly magical in itself - is a cut above, and next-level in every way. Superb food, warm welcome, delicious beer and wine, etc, etc. Am still in reverie after my wonderful roast beef lunch (which followed a four-mile trek in wind and rain in picturesque and misty Bucks). Very highly recommended.

We recently booked three of us in for a Sunday lunch at this great little pub and restaurant which sits right in the middle of Cuddington. The Sunday lunch menu has a nice range of dishes to choose from as well as several different roasts which are all served with a large Yorkshire pudding, selected veg, roast potatoes, gravy and cauliflower cheese. The portions are very good and each of us agreed that this was one of the best roast dinners we had had out for some time, also helped by the staff who are so friendly and helpful. If you are looking for excellent food and a warm welcome look no further than the crown.
