Bournemouth Rock Cafe in Bournemouth

Wonderful place set in the most amazing location !!! Happy friendly staff and great food. Can not wait to visit again in the summer

We were staying in Bournemouth for the New Year & our Hotel was just up the Road. We had walked down to the Beach & the Pier, and were getting ready for a Coffee. We saw the Bournemouth Rock Cafe, which was Busy, but Not Crowded, so we went in & got a Table. I had a Coffee & a Sausage Roll. The Coffee was Good & the Sausage Roll was Delicious.

We had a lovely lunch here while visiting the Christmas attractions in Bournemouth gardens. It is also next to the beach so a fantastic location.

Comimos aquí un sábado, es un restaurante muy concurrido pero también tenían una gran cantidad de personal esperando a los clientes. La comida era deliciosa y sabrosa, yo diría que no tan ornamentada como otros restaurantes tailandeses, pero sin embargo encantadora. La reserva sería mejor, ya que algunas personas fueron rechazadas sin reserva, bastante ruidoso pero teniendo en cuenta el tamaño del restaurante, era de esperar. Definitivamente visitaría de nuevo

This place has adapted well to the current more complicated business climate. Temperature checks on the way in, good spacing and distancing. The staff seem to really play as a team and always super busy. Very good service and very good food. Pizzas are excellent. Good music playing that’s not too loud as to be intrusive. The views are lovely and central to everything Bournemouth. Great to see places like this adapt and thrive. 👍

Very slow service, polite but not particularly friendly. Food was very average and not a great deal of choice. We were pressed for time otherwise we would have gone into the town.

Our tables were put together as we had a dog,so eating outside.We ordered at counter outside and paid.Then went inside to get drinks.Service was quick,efficient and friendly.Our meals were very well presented and delicious.The choices were;pizzas,spaghetti Bol,noodles and chicken dishes also wraps and enchiladas. Absolutely going to dine here again.

Ate here twice over the course of a short 1 night visit to Bournemouth - that tells you how nice it was!. The food was prepared fresh and was extremely tasty. It is vibrant, and located on the beach. The service was quick and efficient and it is child friendly. I would definitely recommend this place!

A great spot for lunch, nice burgers very filling! Good value and nice atmosphere. The waitress was friendly and attentive.

We had lunch here and the food and atmosphere were both brilliant. Friendly staff, good service and plenty of wine to choose from, just perfect.

Lazy staff and over priced. Sat outside drinking our £8 cocktails watching a young Asian lad wearing a hawian shirt stand about talking to colleagues as new customers had to clean their own tables of previous customers dirty plates Would hàte to see them at rush Hour.

After a long walk along the beach this was a great place to get lunch. Would happily go back and eat there again. The place has great service and is great value for money.

What's treat, this has it all, light meals downstairs or book a table upstairs for a fab night out. Booking in the evenings for the restaurant upstairs is a must to avoid disappoint,met. Great service and they remember you when you return again.

Had a wonderful lunchtime visit - staff were friendly and attentive, professionally made cocktails which were to die for. Service was quick, setting was stunning in the sun - will definitely be revisiting!

Comimos fuera en un hermoso día, no demasiado lleno, ya que estábamos allí justo después de las 12 pm y la mayoría de las escuelas no había roto. La comida era deliciosa y pizza era suficiente para dos personas. Sin duda volvería de nuevo si no estaba demasiado ocupado.

Comí aquí con mi familia y aunque no eran enormemente con hambre después de pasar todo el día en la playa, nos tomamos una comida masivo que fue de lo más agradable y a un precio razonable, el personal era amable y nos cuidaron, y la comida era buena.

El servicio era terrible no personalidad que muy grosera caballero que nos servía !nos dijeron que nos acercará a una posición en el bar y después caminamos y luego nos preguntaron qué estás haciendo parado allí! lugar espantoso nos tomamos una copa y se marcharon. No vamos a volver

solo el almuerzo, personal agradable eran dirige intencionalmente, la comida estaba muy bien y no esperar después de haberlo pedido, muy bien pocos justo al lado de la playa,

What a lovely situated cafe. A bit expensive so bought 2 cakes to share between 4 with coffees each. We took umpteen photos of the view and it was so peaceful loved, loved loved it.

I don't know what the hotel is like but I came here to watch the fantastic singer and song writer Drew Allen and I really enjoyed my evening. The gig was held in a downstairs function room which was decorated with fantastic music memorabilia and drinks were reasonably price. I just wished the events was more promoted to create a bigger audience and a better atmosphere. The staff should also improve their rapport with customers to build relationships and make customers feel more welcomed.

Enjoyed a selection of delightful cocktails with a view of the beach. Cocktails made with fresh fruit on the side. Reasonably priced. Toilets very clean.

The caberate was great, ive been to rubyz at 2 other venues and loved the show and the food quality venue, but went last Saturday to the beacon hotel which now host Rubyz and what a difference, my first impression was it looked a bit cheap and tired but once the caberat started I loved it the sigers were fantastic as was drag queen, the food was terrible and I couldn't eat it although I was starving.CABERET I LOVED AND WOULD GO AGAIN BUT PLEASE DONT FEED ME LOL

Friends had bought tickets but we arrived early without said tickets. We walked straight in - no questions asked!It was publicized as a fun 70's, 80's, 90's music genre.. REALLY?It was far from that. The venue is dingy, the musicians were bored & tired and the bar was a total joke. One moody & grumpy barman that told me he would not serve a bottle of wine as there was not enough (Go up to the main bar in the hotel and buy from there!!)However... My friends & myself will never forget that new years eve at the Bourne.....As one to be never repeated

There is no other way to describe the amazing quality of food for the price you pay. Outstanding presentation, high standards all yes. Absolutely astonishing that this place isnt rammed packed with people every day! It should be. Staff are wonderful and the restaurant itself is cover in music memorabilia from the Beatles to Kylie. Wall to wall with awesome ticket stubs and posters. The atmosphere is only what you make of it. Bournemouth Rock Cafe is a hidden Gem waiting to be found and unleashed. Please go for yourself and I hope you won't be disappointed. My boyfriend and I love this place and hate for it to go under.

On arriving at this hotel I thought this was a throwback to the era of the 20's.We went for dinner with friends.The first shock was the price of drinks,but sometimes You pay the going rate and say nothing.Then the wait for Our food,if it had been busy I would have understood the time between courses,but they had no customers ,Sadly not one of the staff was there!!The food was warm and the dessert cremated(sticky toffee pudding)I will not be returning to this place a shame as the general feeling of the place was nice.

Stumbled across this Restaurant in the Beacon Hotel on the Westcliff whilst attending a jazz evening. Apparently, the restaurant has only just opened and I decided to try one of their Gourmet Burgers. It was fabulous, nicely presented and clearly home made. I opted for a Stilton topping which when it arrived was 'real' melted Stilton. All in all great value (including the beer) and the venue with Music Memorabilia everywhere was very interesting and unusual. I will return
