We went for the Christmas Day buffet. Really looking forward to this, having been to the Kensington Forum Holiday Inn previously for many years. We had high expectations. So when we arrived in very opulent settings; we felt we made the right choice.... And then we arrived at the buffet. After 20 minutes we were seated at our table and had easy access to the buffet. Or rather what was left of it. When I say buffet. I mean the left over on hot plates. When I say hot, I mean luke warm. Or the in the case of the Christmas pudding, I mean stone cold. We just hoped they would replenish the food after a while. No fresh food, not even a bread role after 1 hour... In fact they where closing the buffet down after 90 minutes. So we just left hungry. Our Christmas day was ruined. We later complained to management and they said we were mistaken and made it all up. Well I invite to see the photos of the buffet and see if you think it was worth £60 a head. My advise, don't bother . Plenty of other nice local restaurants in Kensington and despite all the online advert claiming to be the new Caribbean experience. It is not. Save you money. Go somewhere nice . Go somewhere they don't accuse you of lies.

We were unfortunate enough to have 3 breakfasts here, as hotel guests. The chaos during breakfast is unimaginable - tables not being cleaned, long queues for getting a table and for picking up food, and last but not least - the food is as terrible as the hotel itself. If breakfast isn't somehow included in your rate - have it elsewhere.

It is a little surprising that the Holiday Inn at Wrights Land has received some 4500 reviews, but the restaurant within it appears to have only received 7 reviews. Of these reviews the one marked "terrible" seems to have been expunged from the records. My own review is entirely independent of this. The restaurant is of good appearance and we were courteously shown to our choice of table. Menus were quickly produced and our order taken. The food was a little slow in coming but we were not overly concerned regard this. Only five or six of the more than fifty tables were occupied. We ordered spaghetti carbonara and a house speciality burger with fries. On arrival both plates were stone cold and consequently both meals were well on the way to being cold also. Our deserts were not particularly interesting and by then we had decided not to linger. However a waiter was not available to ask for a bill and I had to go to find one. To add insult the advertised prices were subject to a 12.5% service charge. We subsequently found in very small print that this was discretionary- and to the hotel's credit they did deduct it from our final hotel account. A good enough hotel, but on this occasion let down by sloppy restaurant service in both dining room and kitchen.

Pedi a sopa do dia. Veio super apimentada, pedi pra trocar. Me mandaram uma sopa de frango cru com legumes crus. Simplesmente horrível. Um super hotel com um serviço de restaurante lamentável.

Large menu and a large restaurant. Excellent staff, very professional, friendly and efficient. Loved the food although a little expensive by the time drinks/wine is added. A bottle of still mineral water is £5 which is probably normal but seemed a lot. Has the full rack of ribs which were perfect.

I ate in here as I was staying at the hotel. It is large, comfortable and recently refurbished. The night I ate the restaurant was very quiet. The staff were very friendly. The menu is pretty standard for a Holiday Inn menu but I found that the food was very well cooked. There was a choice of burgers and grills, fish and chips, pizza and pasta all fairly reasonably priced.

We were visitors to London and it was a cold, wet, miserable evening and neither of us felt like walking in the rain to find a meal in High Street, Kensington. Getting wet clothes dry when on holidays is never easy. We chose to eat locally and found the Boulevard Restaurant at the Kensington Close hotel. The restaurant is reasonably large, is a pleasant space, and the tables are well spaced. We were offered the choice of either a buffet (limited offerings) or the full menu. We chose to order off the menu and were not disappointed. Servings were generous, presented well and tasty. Service was courteous and efficient. In short we enjoyed the meal and were surprised that it was reasonably priced given that it was a hotel restaurant

I Came to Pepperon cafe with my baby son and the girls working were so helpful and friendly, offered us a baby seat and scrambled eggs for my little one. I had the Canadian breakfast and Cappuccino and by far best pancakes I have ever had. Made fresh! Highly recommend this place, my go to in London.

Staff are great, fab service - efficient and friendly. Food okay but it is TOO LOUD in there. Why do they play the music so unbelievably loud? Makes it impossible to hear your dinner party guests without shouting, it’s like eating in a nightclub but in daylight. My throat hurts from shouting over the music. Twice we asked the waiter to get the DJ to turn down the music. This improved the atmosphere immediately, but the DJ increased it yet again. Please, Ours, control your DJ. It would have been a 5 star review from me if not for that.

Food was good but portion sizes were tiny, service wasn't great, and seating was tight.

I had to ask for my order, the toasts were brought to me, I had to ask for the rest, the scones were finally brought.....while other customers who arrived well after me were finishing their meals!! ! The tea ordered only arrived after asking for the bill and pointing out that I didn't get it....bad experience, spending my time Le Bras en l'air to question the waiters, all for reasons avocados on toast, nothing too complicated.
