Stopped by for a Baileys hot chocolate and a cuppa, plus a raspberry cheesecake. Simple gorgeous cake 10/10. Will definitely be back when all this tier stuff is over. Hot chocolate was very welcome on a cold winters day!

Warm and cosy surroundings, helpful and friendly staff, nice range of sandwiches, cakes and various other food options all at very reasonable prices. Would definitely come back.

6 Dec 2019 - Looked good from the outside. Upon asking for a menu the male at the order point said 'there will be one on the table'. Alas, only available seats were upstairs by the one toilet. This 'room' was dirty, in need of decoration and there was a toilet roll on one of the tables. No menu available so we 'cadged' one from another visitor. The tables still had previous visitors plates and rubbish on the tables. The lady that took the order was friendly enough (2 aussie sausage rolls, 1 'mahoosive' chorizo sausage roll, tea, cappachino and a glass of red wine). The order took 20 minutes to arrive, the drinks another 5 minutes. The 'mahoosive' s/r wasn't what I would call 'massive'. The glass of red was £5 - a bit pricey for a small glass of house wine. Very dissapointed and wished we'd had something at the Christmas market instead.

We came across this cafe whilst walking around the town, food menu looked delicious so we decided to try the afternoon tea. At £25 for two people with hot drinks (refills of tea for free) it was a great deal. Selection of sandwiches was super, scones were scrumptious and the choice of fresh cakes was fabulous. Buzzing atmosphere and lovely staff inside. Great little place worth a visit.

It was July and Stratford-upon-Avon was a crush of people. This little restaurant came along and just the nick of time-a bit of rain and an empty seat. I had cream tea (coffee) and my wife had cheesecake and coffee. Both were excellent. We had a seat in the window and were able to people watch. Very much enjoyed it.

We stopped in for a coffee and cake on a Sunday mid-morning. It was very busy but we timed it perfectly with someone leaving. After clearing the table ourselves (not a problem, the staff were rushed off their feet) we ordered at the till. It was really disappointing to hear what appeared to be the owner/manager patronising a young lad that was working there. We waited a while for our order and when it turned up it was incorrect. We accepted it anyway and drank up and got out of there. It would be nice if it wasn’t as busy I’m sure.

We were pleased to have gone into this cafe when we did because it soon filled up. We were greeted by the proprietor's call, 'Grab a menu, find a table, come and order.'. Whilst pondering the very adequate menu we happed to see some freshly baked scones coming out of the kitchen. We had found our breakfast! Clotted cream and jam, and coffees. Who cared that it was not tea time. The seating is either higgledy piggledy, or unconventional! Certainly novel. After paying for our order we were approached by the proprietor who was honest enough to admit that he had made a mistake with his adding up and gave us a refund of the over charge. It is a pity this cafe is a long way from home or we would be regular visitors.

What a gem....we had a delightful cup of coffee followed by a sausage and bacon baguette...delicious...served very hot and fresh. Service was excellent too. We sat at the front of the restaurant which was probably the best place at this time of year. There is a conservatory area at the rear of the property but that area is rather cold on a fresh day like today....you wouldn't want to take your outside coat off !

Breakfast wasn't good. Service was slow. Food quality isn't worth what you're paying for. I was disappointed 😞 Positive - waitress was nice, friendly and pleasant

This pub is sadly currently closed due to a large fire earlier in the year. It will be closed for some time. I hope it gets restored as it had a great reputation before. There are plenty of other great alternatives nearby to visit.

Harvy and his team were first class. I emailed saying it was a special birthday with friends and could they do something for me and straight away they replied saying very happy to help. When we arrived the whole team were just brilliant and really did make the day for us. I cant thank the team enough for a fantastic experience
