Had lunch out with my 8 year old granddaughter and she loved it. Good for coeliacs. Never had a problem here. Staff very helpful.

Excellent service, plenty of attentive staff who will go out of their way to make you comfortable and with little children it is of great comfort. Excellent food choices all come out hot and fresh, highly recommend to anyone.

My go-to coffee shop in Yeovil. Yes, there are many others to visit but I prefer here, it's not too busy generally, the staff are really nice and the coffee is very good and not silly expensive either. I've yet to try the food which is why I haven't rated it in this review but it smells wonderful, the odour of cooked bacon permeates the whole lower end of the Quedam!! So, a breakfast here is certainly on my 'to-do' list and probably sooner rather than later!! It's not a fancy, whistles & bells coffee shop, it's a café which happens to sell good coffee and I intend to keep coming back when a caffeine hit is required!!

Excellent range of food choices, typically English cuisine but some Mediterranean such as lasagne, chilli, French bread, Italian bread. Hot and cold food good drink choices. Suitable for families. Accessible entrance and toilet on ground floor. Outside seating area and upstairs seating. Food very fresh and delicious. Not overpriced for a decent meal. Serve all day breakfast and ice-cream too. Takeaway. Worth a visit. It was very busy but plenty of staff to get the orders prepared and served quickly.

I had a full English breakfast, it was fine, reasonably priced and convenient. There are better places in the area!

My wife and I visited Yeovil town centre yesterday for the first time and had a lovely lunch here. As we are coffee and toastie lovers, we have had them in so many different cafes around Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire. Boswells' toasties are one of the best (if not the best) we have ever tasted. Fresh, warm, crunchy, delicious, and all in all it's amazing. 100% recommended.

Our first visit today for brunch. Although it was mid-morning and therefore quite busy, the staff were very helpful and polite. The food and drinks were really good and served quickly. The only downside was the noise level, not only from the background music (not really necessary), but from the patrons. Whilst this particular cafe is quite modern it has a high ceiling and all the background sound appears amplified in the 'cavernous' surroundings. That said, the staff were excellent.

Gluten free sandwiches are awful. The bread is nasty, the chicken had the old bottom of the freezer taste, very bland. Cakes, the usual boring tasteless packt stuff. There was gluten free brownies, which ten to get boring when that's what most coffee shops offer. Opted for the dime bar cake which you can find frozen at Tesco, nothing special. Good coffee, but over all disappointed and won't bother again. Recommend they chage there GF bread to PROMISE range or at least to something that doesn't taste like cardboard.

They actually serve lukewarm coffee, so you don't stay too long! Service isn't very good either.

A great place for food and a quick coffee or tea. The food is good and has a large range and it's in a good location.

I visited for the first time yesterday. The restaurant was very clean and staff service friendly and organised. The person behind the counter seem to notice I looked unsure and explained drinks and payment at the end in a friendly manner. I had jacket potato and prawns. I did find the potato skin and prawns chewy and not that enjoyable but the potato and salad were nice. There were lots of other options available that looked delicious I think I would visit again but avoid jacket or have a different topping. The music was too loud I had to have my headphones on max. you could not take a meeting in here, or listen to an audiobook but is a good atmosphere for lunch with friends.

Smashing but I thought it was a little pricey.

My favourite treat here is the gluten free breakfast. Great affordable food , good service, clean and friendly.

Great range of food served up at reasonable prices. Had a great tasting late and a yummy apple and raspberry flapjack. Sat upstairs with views out and relaxed using their free open wifi.

I’m not normally the type to leave reviews on places but I was really not impressed with my experience today. The food was a completely disappointment. Had ham egg and chips..the chips were either pouring with grease or rock solid, the egg was like rubber and was just weirdly cooked and the ham was rubbery too. Obviously not expecting the most pristine presentation and top quality food but when your paying for it and something so simple is that appalling it’s a joke to be honest.

Good usually for quick lunch, slightly put off by the standard of some staff, messy and look grubby,sent lunch back due to bread being stale,sandwiche brought back changed but still not fresh

This morning I ordered a bacon baguette. It took 20 minutes to arrive. The bacon was burnt to a cinder and cold. The baguette was dry and without butter. It was disgusting. Never again.

We popped in here on Saturday for a quick lunch in between shopping. We ordered 2 Breakfast baps which were lovely. Quite a wait but worth it. Lovely staff too. Very busy which is always a good sign. Will definitely return.

Coffee is overpriced cold and tastes bad. Never returning.

What to do on a rainy day in Yeovil? Pop out for tea and cake that's what. Simple question, do you do a cream tea? Well we have scones and jam. Do you have cream ? No. So no cream tea then. Qué the part where she loses interest and does something else then comes back . What would you like ? Scone, cake and two teams please. Loses interest again and leaves us hanging. Comes back , was that two teams? You get the picture.....

It's a lovely place to catch up over a cup of tea, or if you're feeling peckish, the food is fab. Great location, and the staff are friendly too.

I was in the middle of a case in the County Court. Boswell’s is a bright and airy venue for a no frills lunch, in my case a steak and kidney pie and chips followed by a generous fruit salad. Both the indoor dining room and the outside terrace were heaving so they must have been doing something right. Quite a wait though for my order.

I love Bozzies Yeovil so much! The amazing staff literally know mine and and my friend’s orders off by heart because we are in nearly every weekend!!! Thank you so much everyone!! <3

Despite the business of the summer holidays! The service was excellent! I had ordered a caramel frappe and it was one of the best ones i have ever had! Abbie was so lovely and polite! She made my drink so well and was efficient and polite! Would definitely recommend a visit!! will return shortly.

Visited the cafe today was busy as usual , seemed a little understaffed. Ordered a Frappe had a girl called Abbie serve me at 13.28pm , she was making my drink then another girl took over she finished making my drink put it on the counter for me no Thank you etc I noticed it didn't have any cream so I said it should have cream as I paid for it , she sprayed it with such little care and again just put it down on the counter, I had no straw by this time , the other girl came back and just looked at me as if to say what do you want , I asked for a straw and that was dumped on the counter , very poor service no manners , I appreciate it was busy but please /thank you don't cost nothing

Very expensive, nothing special either, not good value for money and wouldn't return. Staff friendly however and appeared clean

Very overpriced for what we had , drinks was ok but food no where near worth the money , chips really dry and over cooked , cake was stale and dry even my cake lover 4 year old didn’t have more then two bites , a shame as we had food before and was nice

I love that they will pretty much cook you whatever you want using the ingredients they have on the board, nothing is ever too much trouble. I don't really like self serve, I much prefer table service but I don't mind in Boswells, they are very quick and efficient, I am a regular customer

Very busy wet day and lunchtime as well Staff all working flat out polite and worked as fast as possible . Coffee and cakes we ordered ,brought to the table ,which, by the way, were promptly cleared . Could not fault .

The food here is really nice, I just find the set up a bit confusing if you're not familiar with it. It was tricky figuring out how and where to order. But the staff were amazing and the falafel and hummus wrap is so so good!

Was blown away by the utter chaos going on as I was in the que, there was a lot of staff bit not a lot of productivity, I stood watching a fly munch on a tiffin, he was loving life. I requested a coffee to be told they couldnt do that and so i ordered 2 cups of black americano and i paid, coffee came and one of the cups looked like they had drank half. Well I had queued enough and was lossing the will to live so i took my half coffee and left.

a little slow but food was edible. bacon a little over done but other than that fine.

Always a good place to go for something to eat and drink.

Good staff , helpful and friendly

Several times we have had dirty cups or cutlery, this needs to be addressed, one of the problems also is cups are having coffee etc dropped on them as the trays of clean cups are put directly below the coffee machine, where they are vulnerable to spillages.They will insist on putting the milk jug inside the cup you are about to drink from. It was mentioned to a member of managment and ignored.

Great choice of food and lovely seating areas especially upstairs. Staff were a little hit and miss we found the lady behind the counter quite rude although we didn't think it was intentional. Great food and nice coffee

Love it here, i take my mum here and she is always well looked after. My family and i also go to Boswells, it is friendly and the food is always fresh.

Great high chairs for little ones

Enjoyed a lunchtime meal for two at Cafe on Saturday 10th June. Had toasted sandwich offerings of coronation chicken and roasted vegetable in flatbread (with salad). One slice of carrot cake. Plus hot drinks. It's a popular place with seating upstairs, downstairs and outside. Good service all round and great food

A great place to meet friends for coffee, although the standard of food has gone downhill. I had a sausage and egg sandwich but the bread was stale.

I had a hummus and falafel wrap which was amazing and so was the soy latte, the staff were lovely and we sat upstairs which was a bit quieter as there were lots of people. Will definitely come here again.

Excellent all day breakfast consisting of 2 bacon two eggs 2 sausages, chips and baked beans only £8.95p very filling and great value for money!! All washed do we with a regulat latte.

I love this busy little cafe in the heart of Yeovil, the staff are always friendly and welcoming the food is top and the drinks are lovely.

Food was okay, lots of choice, taste was okay but nothing to write home about , cafe is very very slow and noisy and I wasn't a fan of loud music , nice to have a sit down with some background music but it was a bit too loud.
