For the second time my food was cold (I ordered in store) and had the worst customer service experience. Think owners need to focus on their customers. At that price they should try harder

We popped in for breakfast. quite pricey compared with other venues but perhaps comparable in Bristol. Good service and nice ambience. Service

I've ordered a few times from here and the food is top notch. I've also had one order that was ruined due to Uber Eats. Whilst Uber didn't help Low and Slow put things to right. For that they are 5 Stars and will be returning and can happily recommend!!

So I gotten the mac and cheese and barbecue box with chip and slaw. The mac and cheese need bit more flavour such touch more salt or pepper to it and the barbecue box bell pork also the pull pork need but more flavour to it as well but the meat was nice and soft and the slaw was nice to balance to the pull pork l.

Amazing food with a great atmosphere. Was served by a lovely woman called Jessica who was extremely helpful, would definitely recommend .

Food is usually good but tonight’s take out looked like it had been boxed up at lunch time. Cold and dry. No blame on the delivery driver who got it to us well ahead of the estimated time.

Such delicious food, the meat just falls apart and melts in your mouth, the staff are dancing and singing, it's brilliant!

First time visiting, not going to be the last. Not what I saw advertised on Facebook but still 10/10 absolutely amazingly tasty food and so filling. Meat cooked to perfection. Staff friendly and polite and very reasonably priced and well worth travelling for. Will definitely be back

Not worth the hype. Food cold, no flavour in anything. Mac and cheese again no flavour cold tasted so awful! Leaving all this as just inedible. Don’t bother. Even the coleslaw was a waste of space tasted of nothing. Only ate some chips and garlic bread as only warm thing still awful.

Disappointed, very disappointed I couldn't finish my plate. The food was excellent. Pulled pork and the burnt ends were my favourite and the fries were a lot better than expected. I need to give the brisket another go mine was a little dry but still tasty. That aside I really enjoyed the meal and would definitely be ordering again. Thank you guys and girls for a lovely meal

Food was full of flavour and tasty only issue was very busy and were cueing for a long time. ordered 2 of the burger boxes to share between 4 people but could have easily shared 1 between 4! Great food, great service!

Great place for breakfast with lovely helpful staff. Pancakes were the best we have had! A lovely building and seating was well spaced. We will definitely return.

Saw this place on a food review online, we popped in our way home from brixham to the West Midlands, literally scanned the menu for 60 seconds I knew what I wanted, ordered, paid and the food was served to me there and then from the counter, all fresh all hot and I was sat down in minutes stuffing my face with some of the nicest smoked food I've ever had (I've been to quite a few) even cheekily asked for the fatty piece of the brisket which he just cut a huge section of and placed on top of my food, the meat is not over smoked flavour wise like some places I've visited and the meat just melts in your mouth, the gravy is amazing also, I'll deffo be back for sure next time I'm down this way, unless you guys fancy opening a place here in the black country, I'd come work for you 😋😉

WOW! Ordered the munch box and wow not only do you get your moneys worth and more in portion the flavour in every single bite slapped! Everything seasoned beautifully! The meat tender and melted in your mouth! Proper bbq mac n cheese! The dirty fries! Will recommend to all friends! Well done guys nailed it!!!

Do NOT get takeaway from here! Waited over an hour for them to cancel with no reason. When I have ordered takeaway from them with the food arriving, it has been skimpy and could tell it was scrapings. I used to speak so highly of this place but it has gone downhill the past year. Disappointed.

Don't order takeaway from here! I ordered from them last night at about half past six, they said it would be with us by 8pm. Kids were hungry but we decided we could all wait. Over the next hour and a half the arrival time kept being put up by 5 or 10 minutes, kids were getting irritable, we're all really hungry. Trying to watch a film but everyone's thinking about food. Food eventually arrives at 9pm, everything stone cold. Another wait while we re-heat the meals in the oven, whole family is annoyed now. Start eating and realise several sides are missing. The chicken wings had one bite of meat on them each, the rest was bone and gristle. My son wanted to try Texas Toast, it cost £3: it was a single slice of burnt toast that tasted vaguely of garlic. My slow cooked pork was really fatty. Whole thing cost £75.

Only ever ordered on line takeaway but always impressed. Huge ( too big for me) portions of beautifully cooked meat, delicious sides ( pit beans especially goid) and really excellent value. If I'm ever over that side of town will try the restaurant. Recommended.

Great spot to come with your friends/family to catch up. I went for the Buttermilk Pancakes and they never disappoint. Boston Tea Party has made me want to move permanent to Bristol

Have ordered low and slow many time recently seems to have gone down hill very sad about this the burn ends were not burnt the beef brisket was so tuff it was crazy and the coleslaw well may of well just thrown a whole red onion and half a cabbage into the box with the size of the slices. The pulled pork however was delicious. Will not be ordering again

Super poor food this time. Real waste of money. Salad was so badly chopped it was like eating a whole onion and cabbage. Burnt end had no barbecue sauce and were red. Beef was overcooked. And i would of liked more than 8 chips. Have eaten from here many times and enjoyed it but this meal and the last one was a waste of money. Will not go back....

Came here recently for brunch with friends following word of mouth recommendations. Venue is really nice with plenty of seating. Lots of great food options and prices are decent with good portion sizes. Staff were friendly and food came out at a reasonable time. Overall, a great first impression!

Like a posh kebab shop with better meat! Good format and very popular. I would get take out box next time and enjoy with proper knife and fork. They need much better drink selection to go with it. Beef bun was great.

I rarely get takeaway as I usually have to cook for many people in my life, but today I treated myself to a much-needed break with a low and slow. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The food arrived stone cold, my sauce was missing, and there wasn’t any cheese on the mac. I cried with disappointment, thanks for ruining my Sunday x

Numerous reviews mention that the service can be sluggish, but when I visited on a Saturday at around 4:30 PM, I experienced prompt service with no wait at all. The food didn't quite live up to the enticing images on their Instagram. The brisket was dry, and the burnt ends were quite tough. The sides were decent, but nothing to write home about. While I appreciate that it's street food and intended to be quick, serving BBQ in a paper box with wooden utensils just doesn’t seem like the best approach.

A real Bristol gem. Food and service were top notch. Amazing price for the small mountain of meat I was given. Easily one of the best spots in Bristol! Everything I've ever had is spot on.

The place is beautiful from the inside with joyful music playing, improving the atmosphere. The food was finger licking making me crave, even after eating so much they had to roll me out the restaurant. Definitely coming here again and suggest you do too.

Absolutely amazing food and amazing service. I had some problems ordering through Uber eats and had to pick up my order after having my order cancelled twice for delivery. The staff were very apologetic even though it was not their fault, they were all very friendly and their service was 10/10. I 100% recommended not only for the food but for the amazing staff and service :)

We visited Low and Slow for the first time and we decided to dine in since we didn’t want it getting cold till we took it home. If you are really hungry, I recommend having the BBq Box XL! It was so tasty and nice. Ordering was nice and easy BUT expect long wait queues. We will definitely be visiting again! I can see that they do very well online too as there were constantly drivers in the shop waiting (does cause the place to get packed having 7-8 drivers standing by the till).

Finger licking good . I can not write it . Its kfc slang . So amazing food ! Must be on your food visit list highly recommended place meat was just perfect! So sad i live so far from Bristol but promise i will come back one day it means a lot !!!!

Great food and coffee, it’s middle of the city which randomly found during my trip to Clifton area. We were there just before lunch time so quickly managed to get a table, otherwise it would be a long wait.

Went in for lunch earlier today and thought that the food was mostly good! The cherry Bakewell milkshake was fantastic! As were the burnt ends and meal boxes we had! The only let down for us, was the mac and cheese, as it had a strange “off” taste and wasn’t especially cheesy. Staff were friendly and jolly. Good music playlist, too!

Ordered for takeaway. AmaZing, Im generally more veg inclined but absolutely devoured this.

Ordered on Uber eats. Got the bbq box that came with fries, brisket, pulled pork and burnt ends. All was delicious but the hgihhtli highlight for me was the bbq sauce it was sweet smokey and had a nice lil kick to it

Best BBQ food hands down. Having travelled round the country trying BBQ restaurants in London, Edinburgh and everywhere in between this place seriously didn’t disappoint.

5 meals ordered 3 with brisket and noone could eat it all it tasted of was salt no salad on burgers pork and chicken was good but very disappointing

We waited almost 1 hour for our food and then one meal came, which was luke warm and had been finished by the time the other two meals arrived at the table. Very poor.

This is some heavenly barbecue! We haven’t eaten inside but we always get a takeaway and it never disappoints. The meat is always so tender and full of flavour. My husband got the boxed meal that had the beef brisket, pulled pork and burnt ends. Ever since he had that, it’s all I order because the burnt ends and brisket are such a good mix of fatty and normal meat. It’s so addictive!

Good food worth traveling a bit for, brisket was amazing with some solid burnt ends, chicken was juicy, solid lunch all together.

You can litrally be the only person stood at the counter and still wait 10 minutes without being greeted whilst employees sing songs and craic jokes together. Whoever management is they need correct it. Its so unprofessional.

Got an xl box... definitely wasn't even large. Got a milk shake and a can of drink. Came to £28. Food was okay, dry burnt ends and no cheese in the mac n cheese but for nearly £30 you shouldn't expect to leave hungry.

Me and my mrs have been twice now, this time was the by far the worst! Unfortunately, we will not be coming back or do not recommend. After going in today for some food we both had meals including pork but later found ourselves having awful upset stomachs . Mrs has been in a state, vomiting since. We ordered the pork and beef box with pork loaded fries. Poor hygiene and was dirty upstairs with food not being cleared away or tables wiped down.

It used to be amazing. It used to be great tasting food at a reasonable price. It used to be a full box of BBQ with healthy portions of meats and sides... Over the years it's gone down value wise. Now it's very expensive and small portions. Today is probably the last time I'll order for a while as the size of the portions were pathetic for how much I paid. Almost £20 for a BBQ Box and extra chicken thigh, yet it was probably the smallest box I've ever received from them. A very small amount of chips and slaw, barely any pulled pork, a super thin and short piece of brisket. Barely visible burnt ends. It filled about half the box and was massively disappointing. Today marks the day that Low and Slow dropped out of my Uber Eats favourites, and I just now consider it very expensive, so I'll be unlikely to order it much, if atall. Worth noting, the food still tastes great, the sauces are lovely, the BBQ meats are super tasty, and the sides are really nice. Purely the value for money which has caused my score to lower from a 5/5 to a 3/5. It's just not regularly worth it any more, a rare treat maybe.

May have been an off day but the food here is not good. Everything is either bland or just disturbingly sweet. From my experience, don't mess around and go to Spitfire Barbecue instead.

Ordered BBQ box XL with pit beans, gravy, and Mac n cheese. Pit beans had way too much dry herbs de Provence in there, gravy had far too much cornflour in it. Mac n cheese was good. All the meat was a bit flavourless and underseasoned. Staff were friendly and quick. Music was like motion on a Saturday night. Bit much. Left unfinished. Didn't take the leftovers away.

There are a good range of different meal options to choose from. The food is some of the best BBQ in Bristol. You seem to get bigger portions when dining in comparison to takeaway. The staff were also friendly.

We had a Barbecue Banquet. It was plenty for two and we were very satisfied with the quality and tenderness of the meat. It was exceptionally tasty and delicious. There was also plenty of chips and a decent fresh salad. The BBQ sauce is heavenly and for us not over strong. Just the right amount of spice. And the salted caramel shakes were out of this world. Always a reliable high quality choice for us to go for. And exceptional value for money. That’s why we are satisfied repeat customers. Image shown is only half of it.
