Fabulous brunch in a really relaxed atmosphere . Max who served us was brilliant, the food fresh and delicious and the atmosphere calm and relaxes. 10 out of 10 would recommend

Took my daughter and grand daughter for lunch. Had forgotten what a beautiful building it was spacious and lovely. The food was excellent and the staff (mostly young) were absolutely charming and enjoyed being there. Haven't been for some time but will definitely be returning.

Summary food served until 1430 not 1600. Rushed down for food when between night shifts as I wanted to go somewhere pleasant and I love the sweetcorn fritters. I was worried they may stop serving at 1530 or 1500 so got down here quicker than I'd have liked. I got there at 1440.sign up saying no food after 1500! Good job I'd rushed down I thought. I decided to double check with the lady serving anyway...and my worst fears came true, they wouldn't serve me food. I don't intend this to be a huge hatey message about the place but I'm hoping others on Google will read so they don't rush down too late. In fact I'd think it'd be a swell idea if food places started putting up their 'food' serving hours with their actual opening hours....because as a shift worker this problem often arises in the UK which has very strange cafe food culture as everything stops at 1500-1600! (Or 1430 in this case) So knowing actual food serving times would be so so good...Google hire me! Other bits of my review based on trip to Ringwood one..(which I'm sure served me after 1500!).

Party of 8, didn't have to book on a weekend. The most tastiest breakfast I've had. Would come here again.

As locals, this is one of our top places to eat in Salisbury for Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch. We’ve been regular customers for years and I have to commend the staff in particular who are always consistently super lovely and provide really great service. The coffee is very good as is the food. I used to love the vegan breakfast (even though I’m not vegan, it was really yummy) so I’m a bit sad to see it no longer on the menu but there’s still a really good choice and I’m not put off. The building is wonderful too and I love the decor and furnishings

Fresh, free-range meat, eggs and cheese. Fresh made sweets and bread. Quick service. 2 stories and dogs are welcome and fresh water is available for dogs.

I great place to get your daily fix of caffeine, staff very friendly to customers and dogs alike. Food is good and varied.

This is 100% our go to for fabulous coffee & cakes, don't mention the pancakes with compote, absolutely amazing! 😋 The staff here are excellent, naming Jack, Tom, Maddie & Olivia, front of house always smiling & welcoming 🌹

Great Coffee courtesy of Tom the Barista, always made to feel welcome, thanks guys! Tables clean and tidy, sauce bottles are always clean and the waiting staff happy to oblige! Especially the young members of the team!

Probably my favourite place a quick bite and a coffee in Salisbury. I really like it here. Coffee is good. Food is also really nice. Very simple ordering from your table on your phone.

We don’t often go out to eat but had a long wait while our car was in garage so walked into town for a breakfast treat. Decided on BTP as we had heard good reviews. Sadly it was extremely disappointing and a waste of money. They were clearly short staffed so perhaps this had an impact. I had the veggie muffin. The muffin was very dry and difficult to eat unless smothered in ketchup. The whole muffin was cold as if it had been hanging around before being brought to the table. The fried egg, also cold was like rubber and the yolk had set solid. The veggie patty was tasteless and the cheese slice again cold and inedible. I can’t bear waste so reluctantly ate it, felt I’ll for a few hours after. Won’t be returning

Popped in today for a snack and drink. Tom, Maddie and Jack were amazing. They offered us help before we had even asked: spotting the glasses for water were warm from the dishwasher, then a glass of ice cubes appeared! Helping when I had forgotten something from outr order.. 2 minutes later all sorted. We ended up staying nattering as it was so lovely!

I drop into BTP regularly as it's so central and the food offering is always interesting and tasty. Service can be a little hit and miss, particularly when it's busy, but they generally get it right. Beautiful old building with a fascinating history- a great space to spend some time in.

Milkshake was weak and powerdery and not worth the money.

Fell off the train at Salisbury to find to my astonishment that it wasn't actually raining which has always been my experience of this town before. Headed into town to find this branch of BTP in a 14th-century coaching inn which has been carked into the entrance to a shopping mall as if to illustrate the word 'philistinism.' No matter. Upstairs is still a warren of rooms and well-lit main dining area, and this being BTP you are going to be assured of nice food and good coffee as well as pleasant service. This was indeed the case (and of course I had mine with me. Case, that is. No time to check into my hotel if lunch was on the horizon). I had beef hash and eggs which isn't something I'd normally go for but it was very nice. Yes, I would recommend it. It rained the next day though.

Absolutely amazing food when we came for here Mother Day, food and drink came out so fast and was delicious! Olivia served me at the til who was so polite and helpful! A lovely boy named Jack who was our server, he was so helpful. Lastly a lovely girl named Maddie who checked on us to see if we were okay. The staff were so helpful and friendly which made the experience even more welcoming. Will absolutely be back again soon!

This cafe has a strange approach to service. We had to wait downstairs before being allowed to sit down, which we were happy to do, assuming it was full. However, groups of people were kept waiting for ages unnecessarily as there were plenty of tables free upstairs. Other people gave up, but we waited. The waitress in charge was taking each couple up individually and slowly chatting before returning for the next couple. It was an excruciating waste of time when there were loads of free tables. Then, the delight of being encouraged to order via a QR code and struggling to get the WiFi to connect. Going to a cafe is about relaxing and enjoying the company of the person you're with, not wasting time standing about in the entrace, and trying to place an order on your phone. This felt like a chore, not a pleasure, and there are many more pleasurable places to enjoy a coffee in Salisbury.

Lovely brunch with friends this morning. I don't find the app easy to navigate ( probably my age!). However our server Daisy was so happy and friendly. A credit to your team. Enjoyed my cheese toastie with chips and latte with a beautiful heart on too. My dog relaxed under the table whilst I was there. We came back in later after our pack training walk with Vonkebles for drinks. Room set aside for us to relax with our dogs.

Food was quickly served. Plants could do with watering and dead foliage removed. Stains on the armchair seating and the hot water handle came off in the washroom. Perhaps I'm being too Four in a Bed critical but first impressions!

One of Salisburys best features! Every single staff member is absolutely amazing, especially a lovely girl called Saffie (legend)! Highly recommend!

Too much to handle for the people behind the bar, somethings they couldn't keep up with the orders. I ordered a fruit smoothie and I didn't got it until I asked for it. To eat I'd ordered a Cheese Burger with fries, but the meat was raw on the inside so I send it back. I have to say they were very kind and attentive, but very stressed to keep up with the customers, considering that the Male Bartender was having a casual conversation with another gentleman on the bar and everything was laying on the lady's hands.

Nice place and atmosphere. The policy of takeout coffee unfortunately is a failure and I now use Nero or Costa coffee because I don’t always have a plastic recycling cup to hand when out on business

Lovely staff , amazing food, coffee and drinks and great relaxed atmosphere. I would highly reccomend it. An added bonus the Cafe is Dog Friendly

Particularly want to mention the lovely manager JoJo, the HB Tom who gave us great cake recommendations and made fabulous latte art (he should definitely be considered for the company latte art competition!). Also would like to mention Scarlet and Becky who served us and Sadie who we had multiple conversations with and made our visit great. The food was delicious and worth the price. Gave up on this place 6 years ago after repeated problems over several years. Alot has changed since then. Girlfriend convinced me to give them a try again. Had a good breakfast and the service was much better. Hogs pudding and homemade hashbrowns were a highlight. Portabello mushroom; not so much.

They have ideas above their station. Don’t want to be told where to sit as you enter the establishment only to find that there were 20 or more empty tables upstairs reserved for groups of people as if they do not value a couple…..

I really had to share my experience of our visit to BTP. Customer Service from walking through the door saying good morning with a smile. Service was prompt and the wait for our food didn't take long. The food was amazing. My husband and I had a cooked breakfast each with a coffee. A little bit expensive- however it was our start to a day of Christmas shopping, and what a start the food was fresh, homemade and hot. I would say this was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had and was worth every penny! When I'm back in Salisbury, I will definitely pay another visit! Thank you for the great service and keep up the good work 👏

I will rate everything here as average really; services, food and atmosphere . It's a very busy place and it took a while to bring our food, they don't really have much to keep little ones entertained . it's quiet popular with parents and little ones. One plus I think is the kids meal price . Simple and affordable

Warm welcome, great food and dog friendly. Hash browns are something else! Would highly recommend. No doubt we'll be in the next time we visit Salisbury. Really beautiful old building, will definitely sit in the coffee lounge next time for the comfy chairs.

This remains our favourite café/restaurant in Salisbury. Cannot remember how many years we have been regulars. JoJo is a great manager and leads an enthusiastic team. The menu is regularly updated and the food is freshly prepared and tasty. Service is friendly and it is regularly busy. This is not a fast food joint! It's an excellent place for food and drinks in an historic building.

I have been a regular for 10 years. The food and drink are always excellent, and now with a new manager it is even better as a place I go to write my books. Highly recommended .

The cafe is in a fantastic building, we sat on the top floor - gorgeous room with amazing windows! The scan to order facility worked well and we didn't wait too long at all. Coffee was good - not the best flat white, but solid 7/10. Food was good. Staff really friendly. Sadly let down hugely for me by the atmosphere - apart from one other table, every single other customer in the room had at least one dog with them. One table had four! It became like a joke, seeing the next customer come in and seeing the inevitable dog. It was like eating in a doggy day care facility. As you might gather, I'm not keen on dogs (scared of them) so this made me really uncomfortable. I know there's no legislation against dogs being where food is consumed, but perhaps the cafe could consider all customers' comfort and consider allocating the ground floor as dog friendly, giving a dog free environment for those that want it, on the upper floors? My husband used the loo as we left, he was taken aback to find it was mixed sex when he went in to see two young teenage girls waiting for a cubicle - just a heads up for those that might be uncomfortable with that.

Fantastic understanding when I couldn't use there online page to pay for the food because it kept crashing brilliant comuciaion and awesome listening i would highly recommend for a stop to drink and eat

Oh my goodness it's brilliant! Definitely a go to if your visiting the city! Dog friendly and wheelchair accessible. Disabled bathroom seemed small,was unable to look inside,it was also baby change. Food is to die for,we had a sourdough cheese toastie and oh my god. Only 8 pounds and it came with a massive portion of chips! It gets very busy so be aware.

This is our go to recharge spot when we go shopping in the centre. I'm a disappointed with the recent changes, prices have been hiked, options removed. Also, now the grand hall is aimed for general food and the comfy sofas and chairs have been moved to a cake and coffee section on the first floor. It was far more welcoming and better value before, although well still visit, it has dropped from the top spot.

Me and my partner had a boss breakfast each, a latte and a green one smoothie and I have to say… everything was amazing. The food tastes so much better, the atmosphere is immense and the staff make your visit so worth it.

Really disappointed. The place looks lovely but 75% of the menu was unavailable (this is not an exaggeration). There were basically only about 5 things on the whole menu that we could order so we ended up leaving and eating elsewhere. This was on Monday 2nd October.

Too many mistakes and being ignored

We did not expect the AMAZING grand hall upstairs. What an absolute gem. We came for brunch/lunch. It’s order at the table with QR code and a bit of a wait for food (NB it is huge and was pretty busy as expected for a Saturday) but well worth it. I had the sweetcorn hash…. Very possibly the best brunch I’ve ever had. We also had the sausage and egg muffin, lovely coffees and 2 bloody Mary’s. I’ve given service 4/5 only for the wait, and it wasn’t too long. The staff are really lovely! It’s dog friendly and a real community feel. I love the dog of the week!! Overall amazing breakfast/brunch/lunch! Thank you!

Every time I am in Salisbury this is where I head for breakfast or lunch. Service is always friendly and nicely spacious upstairs, food is always fresh and tasty albeit not huge portions. Pancakes are delicious! Thank you BTP!
