Boston Tea Party Salisbury in Wiltshire

I was met by Tom who took my order of a boss breakfast and a flat white coffee, a very charming young man. When the breakfast and coffee came it did not disappoint it was probably the best coffee I have had in a long time. And the breakfast was very filling for the price and tasted so good, it was worth every penny. And the young lady who served me my breakfast was also very pleasant, thank you Elena.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough, you know the foods good when a group of friends fall into silence the minute they start eating! One of us had Mexican eggs, not sure what they did to the chorizo to make it so good, but my god it was next level. Two of us had the full English breakfasts and the other a veggie breakfast, all were amazing, and hats off to whoever makes the hash browns. I’ve been raving about the food since we went, and will definitely be back! The service was lovely, everyone was so friendly, and a massive bonus that you can bring your dog with you. Thank you, and see you soon!

Ordered Shawarma bowl for lunch today. The cauliflower cuts were only 3! Nice enough but the serving size so little- not worth its price. Disappointed customer for the very first time.

Well our first time visiting we are from Cambridgeshire so was doing the sites of Salisbury and came across you as walking to the cathedral and what an experience I came in with my wife and 2 children firstly food was on our table very quick which is great when you have children food was as good as it looked!!! The lady who brought us our food was absolutely lovely we ate our food the children did some colouring and read some books which was provided and then the same lady who brought us our food cleared our plates but while doing so she chatted to us about where we was from what we was up to and even interacted with our 2 children who loved telling them about ther half term she wasn’t dismissive or rude which actually was really refreshing to see as we know it can be super busy and full on but she made the time to talk to us which we really enjoyed we didn’t catch her name but she had glasses on and had a butterfly tattoo on her neck what a breath of fresh air she was well will definitely return when back in Salisbury she made are day and our children’s so thank you

After having experienced the Ringwood branch of BTP on many occasions and never had a bad experience, thought we'd give the Salisbury branch a go seeing we were visiting Salisbury today and wanted a light lunch. What a difference. Tried to order via your QR system. A good idea if it actually worked! Tried four times and it just wouldn't load properly. We were seated upstairs and on several occasions we tried to get the attention of various members of staff. They just walked past, totally ignoring us and carried on their conversation. Clearly more focused on chatting to each other rather than serving customers. We decided that as they clearly were not prepared to serve us and we couldn't get the App to work, that we'd go elsewhere. On coming downstairs, my husband noticed an available table and thought he'd try to order at the counter instead. That wasn't a problem. Our drinks arrived promptly but the food was very slow. My order was incomplete. I ordered a sausage, egg and hash brown muffin. It was missing the hash brown. I mentioned this to the lady on the counter who promptly dealt with the issue and requested the missing item. This arrived promptly but was overcooked and stoned cold! By this time I really couldn't be bothered to make a fuss and just ate the cold, overcooked hash brown. The rest of the muffin was delicious. Overall, our experience wasn't the best. Such a shame as this place has the potential to do really well because of it's pride location. Just a few tweaks regarding the staff actually doing their job rather than chatting and attention to detail with food orders and it would be perfect

Ordered using the QR code and resulting options exceeded expectations.. Moroccan Mint tea really fragrant fresh and delicious.. Opted for a granola bowl and actually looked as good as the photo... Staff seemed chilled.. sat looking out at the Salisbury folks walking by listening to music.. calming + relaxing...

First time visiting but it won't be the last! Food was outstanding and the staff were friendly. Definitely going to be my new favourite for breakfast

Myself and my little dog Floki always enjoy our visits to BTP. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxing and calm. It is my first choice for friends and family meet ups!

Myself and my dog Floki are regular visitors to BTP Salisbury. We are always made very welcome. Food, drinks and service is always spot on and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

We had pancakes and bacon and I was left completely underwhelmed! Minimal bacon, a dribble of maple syrup and okay pancakes at a topend price. Theres no draw for us to return. Self service on the website was clumpy and there was minimal interaction with staff.

Lovely breakfast spot, food came quickly even on a busy Sunday and was delicious!

Lovely experience, the staff were lovely, very personable and made some great food recommendations. I had the new cauliflower and halloumi schawarma which was very tasty and a good portion size. A nice option for vegetarians.

Lovely friendly staff, music was also banging!!! I had the new strawberry milkshake and it did not disappoint. Thankyou bar team. My smoked salmon hash was also nice but presentation could have been better ❤️ still a tasty meal

Have just enjoyed a lovely lunch here with my daughter. I had the cheese and pickle toastie, followed by carrot cake! Both were super yummy! Had fantastic service from the manager Matt, who made us feel very welcome! Will coming back very soon

Probably my favourite place a quick bite and a coffee in Salisbury. I really like it here. Coffee is good. Food is also really nice. Very simple ordering from your table on your phone.

Food was amazing. Matt the server was super busy but still spending extra time tontake care of everone. Gluten free options were delicious and kitchen took care to prepare separately.

Nice cosy and friendly atmosphere. We tried the new item on the menu, Shakshuka. Very tangy, full of flavour ~ loved it!

Excellent breakfast menu, free range eggs and meat and great cup of coffee too. Loved the ethical stance on disposable coffee cups too

We love the beef burger and the brioche bun is amazing. The egg stickers on the floor are funny! Will definitely come again, if this was a You Tube video I would like and subscribe. (Max, age 7)

Lost a lot of its charm by going to QR code ordering and "find a table then order" style of mass efficiency. Staff too young to remember how things were done before the great psyop of 2020-23. More like a quirky Wetherspoons now but with decent coffee, and I miss the kedgeree. The food is okay but not cheap for what it is and now I feel like a battery hen.

Amazing service! The whole family were catered too and the coffee was amazing!! Really worthwhile popping in! And really dog friendly, we took our Dalmatian puppy and he loved all the fuss 🥰

It was great coffee made by Maddie the best boss breakfast made with love, great table service and they all smiled and welcomed you. Best experience for a long time. Definitely be returning.

This place used to be on point for a breakfast , eggs were cold and £15 odd is quite frankly a joke as the quality of the eggs and sausages is weak

Carrot cake was delicious, best by far in terms of shop cake. Staff were really lovely and helpful and engaged with patrons rather than just to serve. Perfect!

Fabulous and friendly staff always a bang up full English. We both got the full English and had gluten free options. Was not a long wait and it’s always comfort food

We absolutely love Boston Tea Party. The staff are so friendly and complete the comfortable atmosphere. Both being gluten allergy sufferers we have never had an issue with the food. Definitely 5 stars more if it were possible. Don't change, you're great. 😊 Food finished and I am full. 😋😋

Love, love, love. Super food, super yummy, superbly presented in beautiful unique and historical surroundings. The staff are always lovely. We’re regulars and have been eating here for 10 plus years. Absolutely adore the vegan and vegetarian breakfasts. Where do you get your meat free sausages from? - they are the best!

My son had the Chorico hash which went down a treat. The pancakes where loverly. Service was polite and quick. Relaxed atmosphere.

Chorizo fry up was pretty good, Boss brekky was missing hog slice, the hash browns were excellent and hot, rest of the the meal was warm. Coffee was ok even with an extra shot. Staff were great 👍

Btp can be very hit or miss. This time the food was good. Service was OK. Best bit was meeting the awesome golden retriever that wanted all the love. Kudos for allowing dogs

Visited on 24th November . Have to say we have been eating here previously but this time don’t know what happened but it was the worst experience …. Food was really poorly presented , I had a breakfast which tasted like it was cocked yesterday and reheated today and my wife had a toastie what came with fries as side but the fries were just as bad as my breakfast ( cooked yesterday and re heated today ) . Such a shame for this place to have gone down the slope ….. also the qr code ordering is absolute waste of time . I couldn’t order extra bread for my breakfast and when the waiter came to the table I asked her how can I get extra bread and she said I have to swap something out from my breakfast for extra bread 🫣🫣🫣 walked off and left me there with no bread ……. So as much as we have lived this place I don’t think we will ever come back again as this experience was absolutely putting us off

My partner used the mandatory QR code on the table and went through the ordering process. Upon getting to the payment service, she was redirected to a scam that set up a recurring payment of £40 to be taken monthly. The manager was contacted but she said they had never heard of anyone having it before. They check themselves a couple of time, but didnt get the scam. She didn't really even say sorry for anything or come to check back after my partner spent the entire meal trying to sort this fraud with the bank. Disappointing considering it was a fraud that appears to be from their QR code!!! Said she would send an email to head office and left. Bank said this is a common type of fraud these days. Who knows how many other people have been caught by this and don't notice! We had to give her information as she didn't seem to have any interest in figuring out what had happened. Our young servers (Sadie Summer and Max Multt?) were very good.

English breakfast classics. Located in an old house in Salisbury on the main street: you mainly come across locals in an authentic atmosphere.

Nice good, nice staff, fast service. Not overly cheap but it did taste good and was hot and fresh, and a nice twist on standard breakfast.

Great food in an amazing building. My Canadian friend said is this Tudor style. I said, no it's actually Tudor!

Although I didn't succumb to the tasty treats on sale, I can recommend the delicious hot chocolate. The server behind the counter and the one who brought me my beverage was friendly and efficient.

Lovely place for a coffee and a bite to eat!, staff are always super friendly and happy to help. Lots of food options with options for vegans etc, upstairs is the better seating but do miss the relaxed sofas then the hardy wooden chair options that now scatter the seating areas.

Pretty rubbish when there are no; Hashbrown Cheese toastie Muffins Hashbrown Pancakes Quesadillas Mexican eggs Sweetcorn hash Cheddar sourdough Vegan pesto and mushroom Smoothies And now as I’m sat here no baps! Just been told after ordering over 20 minutes ago that they don’t have all of our order. When I picked something I didn’t even want any way. £38 for a meal you don’t really want but have carted your 8 month old up the stairs who sat eating his food so again hand is forced. And £3.15 for a can of Diet Coke. Jesus wept.

We had a lovely experience with a large group for lunch. Barry, Jack, Olivia and whole team provided excellent service, food and drinks.

I love this Boston Tea Party: the building is a wonderful adaptation. The food is great and the staff are characterful, attentive and professional. And friendly too! The hash browns are a particular favourite.

The Boston Tea Party serves excellent coffee and cake. They are always worth a visit. Must admit, though, the one in Ringwood is slightly better; much nicer building.

Food has fell off. Egg was stored under a heat lamp, hash browns were very thin slices that were overcooked, the sausage was the only thing enjoyable. For £11 that's totally unreasonable.

Best place for brunch in Salisbury! Great food, friendly service, loads of tables, and some outdoor seating in the heart of the high street.

Came here for full English breakfast, food was good and portions were good for the price. Operates a mobile based self service, which saved time and when the waiting staff came to the table they were friendly.

Perfect spot to refuel between visits to Stonehenge and Salisbury cathedral. All day breakfast that was served quickly by friendly Sadie! Highly recommend the eggs benedict!

we went there about two weeks ago. we arrived and ask for a table for 8 people and they told us to go and see if it was one upstairs. we found it so we sat down and we've been told we had to go downstairs to order. two of us went to ordered and we had to repeat our order four times before they understood everything. they said we had to pay immediately, so I told I had to go upstairs again to call the others and they looked at me suspisciously, even if the other girl with me was staying down at the cash desk while we arrived. when we finally were all eight at the desk to pay they served - really slowly - other two customers before us. we payed once at time and when it was my turn I gave the waiter 3.75 £ cash for my piece of cake because I remembered the price wrong but he told me it was 3.95 only after having counted every single coin, always quite slowly. at this point I had to ask one of my friends 20 pences and he seriously counted them all again, slowly, twice!! after probably 10 minutes at the cash to pay a piece of cake, at least our orders were ready but they didn't take them to our table, no! they just left on the desk two trays saying that we could pick them up. so I took one upstairs, went down and again up to take the other one. after half an hour we could sit at the table and eat and, personally, my carrot cake was quite good actually. one of my friends had some bacon too with her pancakes when we just asked pancakes with maple syrup. anyways the service was terrible, really bad, infact I don't recommend this cafe at all.

Waited 18 minutes for our coffee this morning and over 25 minutes for my breakfast, which I had to chase and then it was served stone cold. It wasn’t a good experience and would question going back.

This is only my third time visiting. Every time I have been treated as I would expect. The staff were very polite, service was excellent and the smoothie and cake were delicious. Very clean and well maintained. Top marks

Had lunch in there with a friend. Considering it wasnt very busy had to wait quite a while for our food. Did notice the lack of disabled access. Also the toilets are used by both male and female. Wasnt comfortable with that.

Extremely slow service. You have to pay upfront AND the tip has to be paid before confirming the order. Where is the logic here?

I come here a lot and never left a review! Always so impressed. Food is always hot and delicious, with good options. WiFi is really fast whenever I work remotely from here. Service really fast and friendly. No complaints whatsoever; my go-to cafe in Salisbury!

Massively disappointing experience. Ordered a simple breakfast muffin and hash brown and took just under an hour to get served. The muffin was pretty ridiculous in size although tasted ok. And the hash was short in filling the plate as well although this too tasted decent. Therefore would consider overly expensive too for what you get for your money. There goes an experience and money I'm not going to get back. The building and restaurant itself is nice and kept clean.

Incredibly friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble. I come here most Tuesdays to sing with a choir and the team are always so kind and helpful. And the carrot cake is DIVINE.
