Popped in to order breakfast, X2 sausage muffins and a coffee to take away (important point, I took the food away). The coffee shop doesn’t do single use cups so want you to buy a plastic cup instead for best part of a fiver. Unhelpful for spur of the moment purchases. Thankfully, a Cafe Nero is a few doors down so they got my coffee money instead (yes, I took the food I ordered at one coffee shop and visited a second coffee shop for coffee). Genuinely the worst breakfast my wife and I have ever had, the chef had POURED black pepper on both sides of the sausage patties (two) which were also cold, as well as the egg. Inedible. Still, you got my £21 didn’t you? Won’t be back.

Came with a friend and had a really nice time. Lovely atmosphere, the boss burger was delicious too. We were served by Paris, Nick and Oli who were friendly and professional.

Food was outstanding and adaptable for our specific requests. Very clean and tidy eating area attended too by Nick and colleagues

Delicious breakfast, tasty coffee, fun colouring for all ages! I had the veggie hash which was fab. Really lovely, surprisingly large, airy top floor with good decorations and light. Steep stairs to get to it but you can order from the table once up there. Really friendly staff!

Today we approached Boston Tea Party in hope for a warming drink. Unfortunately we were abruptly welcomed and decided to invest in a take away. After being asked to buy a reusable mug we later found small particles of hair distributed around the rim of the cup. Our drinks were not hot but cold and the food was not fresh. We are highly disappointed with our experience.

We came in and were greatly looked after by Theo. His attentive mindset and effervescent personality made the experience all the more amazing!

We had a great server named Nick. He was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and hit the spot! Avocado in the iced coffee was surprisingly really good. Could have had more beans with the english breakfast but still really good overall.

I would just like to say that in Honiton The portion sizes on the cake are much better sizes than the one I had in Exeter yesterday. If I knew it was going to be that small, I would not paid 3.50 for it .

Boston tea party was a lovely experience. The food is amazing - I had the double sausage brunch bun. It was quite busy on a Sunday morning and hence a bit loud, but nonetheless the staff, especially Theo, were very kind and brought quick and speedy service.

Really loved visiting this place, based in a beautiful old building, Great atmosphere. Interesting menu for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Dog friendly, which is how we came across it. Long, steep stairs to main dining area on first floor, which may be an issue.

Really disappointed. Went to the Bristol branch yesterday and had bacon baps. Unfortunately this isn't possible in Exeter. Toast also not available. BTP is an expensive place to eat so you would hope they could be flexible and combine sides for you but no. Couldn't have scrambled egg because no option to remove the (unnecessary) chive garnish. Finally the apple and orange juices are not made fresh to order, it comes out of a carton.

This is one place in Exeter I always like to visit. Delicious coffee and cakes, with easy ordering and helpful service.

Nick was a lovely waiter and very attentive. We come here often to study and and get food alongside it, atmosphere is calm and cheerful.

Lovely food, great well trained friendly staff with good quick service. I had the sweetcorn hash and it was excellent. Only thing that let's it down is the atmosphere, feels like a school dinner hall with terrible acoustics. Maybe that is what they are going for though with the trendy uni student types.

Queuing system is ridiculous, outside in the wind and rain rather than indoors. Overpriced. One giant noisy room. Eggs tasted of absolutely nothing and were cold. Smoothie made me very unwell.
