Lovely staff & cool pub. Always good.

Very nice pub with an enjoyable dining area and a separate bar area in back with televisions and games. Food is reasonably priced. The cod dinner is huge enough for two. Pints are generously sized.

Had a vist to this lovely pub again service was fast .lhad cooked dinner was hot and tasty thank you to barmaid Gemma who looked after me hopefully see you soon again when visiting.

Came in to watch the football and it was a really lovely atmosphere, not too crowded and staff were super lovely and attentive when bringing over food & drinks. would highly recommend for families, groups of friends and uni students.

Spent a few hours hear as had time to kill, So got down work done over some lovely lunch as they had a deal on too. Had few drinks, and was out before dinner. Would come again

Great managament & staff. A special mention for Sarah who is always so friendly and cheerful. Not the cheapest of places but they can't do anyhing about that. It is a Greene King hostelry and as such, is lumbered with their price structure. It is also in a very affluent area of Exeter. I have eaten here before and it's standard decent pub fare at a reasonable cost. Love the fact it still has a lounge and (sports) bar. One of few bars left in Exeter with Sky/Tnt etc. Nice old building with a good atmosphere.

An expensive pub could do with a major refurb we can not understand how they justify charging the prices they do stay seem to not that bothers if they serve you or not

Good beer with a fair choice too. Enjoyed the food and a good and enjoyable wine selection. Bit chilly - but then it was subzero outside, can't really blame them for that.

Great pub, lovely grub, charming couple, as in Craig and Gemma, running the place.

Had a meal for a family members birthday, there was 13 of us so we were advised a 45 min wait which I totally understand as there was so many of us but I do not believe we waited that long. Food came out together. It was delicious and everyone ate it all. The barman (sorry didn’t catch his name) was polite attentive and very professional as was the landlord. I can not recommend enough. Thank you

Really great good, polite and fast service and a great atmosphere with 2 bars in the top and bottom of the establishment, with sports being played and shufl board/pool tables in the top and a lounge in the bottom with a relaxed atmosphere for those who are eating

Booked the Mount Radford, Exeter for our family pre Christmas Festive lunch. Ten in the party ranging from teenagers to 70+. We were not disappointed: easy online booking and pre ordering, table set perfectly for the event, staff very friendly and efficient, food well cooked to adequately sized portions and sensibly priced, pleasant ambience. The food took a short while to arrive but was not a distraction at all. All in all a great start to our Christmas festivities and well recommended.

Went there for my Christmas party. The communication for organising it was good and on the day we had a great time. The place feels cosy and the service was good.

We had pre booked our table last night for A Christmas meal (booked on line on the green king booking form) Stating we would have food from the Christmas menu. On arrival we were told our table was occupied with 4 persons having a drink but will be available at our pre booked time. With this in mind we found a table that was empty (but reserved later that night) This was fine with us. But as our time slot came & passed without the 4 persons sat at our table moving, we were asked to vacate the table we were sat to make way for the party who had booked & had to point out we were waiting for the 4 to move so we can take our table. After a bit of a wait, they finally moved off & we then expected the table to be laid with Christmas crackers & maybe a nice table cloth (Like other table in the same room) But this never happened. It was now 7.40.p.m. so we went to order 3 Christmas Meals only to be told Sorry None Available. So, to be clear we had pre booked a Christmas Menu food Booked a Table for a Christmas meal on A Friday Night & the time was 7.40.p.m. & there is No Christmas Food. We did not make a fuss but decided to have a Christmas Burger each … Well, all I can say is how underwhelming they turned out to be (dry, just Lukewarm nothing but disappointing) We did order 3 portions of “pigs in Blankets” as starters to have something to nibble on before our so-called Christmas burgers arrived. But everything arrived at the same time again the pigs in blankets were cold undercooked. Sorry Mount Radford you can do better then this…

An old and attractive building containing a modern interior. Its large attractive windows let in plenty of light and add atmosphere. The main bar is on two levels and generally set out for eating for which there was plenty of custom. Five real ales were on offer which were mostly from Greene Kings own range plus a guest,this was Otter Amber and was well kept. There was also a good selection of craft ales too on keg. On the way to the gents I found the large rear bar. This had sport on the TV,a pool table and more conventional pub seating. The real ales are only in the front bar though. All in all a very pleasant pub and well worth finding. It’s probably a good 15 minute walk from the city centre shops.

We went for Sunday lunch , and the pub was busy . It was obvious they were short staffed so a little patience was needed. Sunday roast was nice good , good portions and not too expensive. The manager who dealt with the rude , demanding customers behind us was calm and very professional , she deserved a medal for dealing with these intolerant ignorant people. The manager was so short staffed she even mucked in making the deserts, which were fabulous , especially the chocolate brownie

Very poor experience. To run out of roast beef at 1:00pm for a Sunday lunch menu when it is the focus of the menu is very poor. The meal took almost an hour to be served . When I raised the delay after a 40 minute wait the manager I don’t know if she was but appeared to be in charge) said - weren’t you told there was a delay - I wasn’t but her attitude was appalling implying that this was self evident. When I challenged this as a lame ( non ) excuse she became defensive and declared that she could not be spoken to thus! Deplorable customer service. Meal when it came was unremarkable. Very disappointing .

I absolutely love this pub. Me, my husband and daughter all go together for food regularly. It's always clean, tidy and the staff are very helpful and attentive. Food is fantastic and drinks are always lovely. I can't rate it highly enough.

The place was packed, but we got a table, ordered our drinks and food through their app and got very prompt and friendly service. The food was first class and very tasty. Would recommend this gaff to everyone.

Cosy, welcoming, good food and service. Been coming for ten years and has greatly improved of late. Great for a coffee and cake too and dog friendly

4 of us booked for meal and drink. We enjoyed it so much we stayed the whole evening. Food was fantastic and served by really friendly smart staff. Atmosphere was very lively. Toilets clean. Biggest thing for me when I eat out is clean tables. I hate sticky table tops. Here they were spotless. It’s becoming our regular haunt when we go out. Thoroughly recommended

Got five snack sharing plates and (except for the sausage roll, which I didn't try) they were all so good. Delicious chicken karaage and calamari especially. Friendly service

I have not eaten here, but a very popular pub with two parts to it. It has a glamorous front, bright and decorative, and then a sports/games area at the back, which is twice the area of the front. Brilliant fun, with two full length Shufl boards and a new version of Shufl with a wider but shorter board. Also a Dart board and pool table, with big screens dotted around. Very popular, especially with the St Lukes crowd and Exeter Chiefs. Enough beer and cider choice to keep you going, not an amazing selecton, and real ales on at the front bar.

A real beautiful place, nestled just outside the city centre. Great Food, Atmosphere and Drinks available mean it is not to be missed. Pool and Shuffle Board offer a great variety too. Definitely worth visiting all year round!

Went in the sports bar side of the pub. Good atmosphere. Dog friendly. Plenty of drink to choose from and plenty of people eating food. Very nice 👍.

Massive sports bar, 2 bars, an eating areas more cosy for families then a separate area with about 3 tv screens, 1 pool table with first game of the day on the house, and a very nicely decorated interior..I might add

Top bar service...had a bar man Joe that was top notch..could not fault his service and even better remembered our drink order....absolute gentlemen.

Food is good and reasonably priced. Not much beer variety, but what's available is quite good. The place was on the quiet side, with gentle music and lots of natural light - just what I and the dog wanted.

Great place to watch the rugby. Shuffle board is fun too. Good beers on tap.

Good old pub, even has a piano. Pub food is good, the front bar is for relaxing and there is a sports bar to the rear, with pub games and multiple TV's for sports. It's an up and down pub, not the best place for wheelchair users. Choice of Ales and Lagers was pleasing, hope to visit again when next in Exeter.

beautifully kept cask ales, great atmosphere, very friendly clientele. I turned up alone, in a West Ham shirt and was made to feel extremely welcome. cant wait to go back and try the food. 11/10 been back again....the beer was bloody gorgeous, massive kudos to whoever's keeping the cellar.

Food very good ambionce excellent. Just over an hour wait was a lot but worth it. Food was lovely. Hot and tasty.

Squeezed us in despite the football being on. Pub was very busy but food came within 20 minutes. Steak skewers and mac and cheese with bacon.

The Mount Radford is our local so we've been going there often over the years for drinks, food and the pub quiz. Unfortunately after a string of bad experiences we've decided to stop going. The vegetarian menu options used to be very good but now there are very few options. Recently we had the veggie burger which was awful. Somehow my bun was burnt and the burger and chips were cold. The portion sizes are now much smaller as well so we left hungry. Since Gordon left we've found the tables are never clean, we often have to ask for them to be wiped down before we can sit. We never had that before when it was being managed by Gordon's wife (sadly I don't know her name). It's a real shame as it used to be a clean, vibrant pub with a great atmosphere and lots of nice veggie options. We will go elsewhere in future.

Good range of beers, lots of comfy seating, plenty of TVs (if that's your bag) - and the most relaxed atmosphere in this part of Exeter. What's not to like :-)

When in town I always try and catch a game on the well placed screens.

Cycled past the Mount Radford for over a year and found it intriguing - not many pubs have crystal chandeliers. I visited for Mother's day with my daughter and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was good, and reasonably priced compared to many city centre pubs and restaurants in Exeter. Will definitely re-visit.

Had a really enjoyable afternoon at the Mount Radford with friends and watching the football. I was really disappointed as there was several vegetarian options not available on the menu, but the barman Oliver was very helpful at trying to help me to select something that the kitchen could make me so I could eat with friends. Will visit again and thanks to great service Oliver!

I had a meal and drinks with a friend recently and was served by a lovely polite young man called Oliver. He couldn’t have been more helpful, with just the right amount of attentiveness without being overbearing. Would definitely come back again if Oliver is typical of all your staff.

Pub is lovely from the outside and reminiscent of a traditional London pub. Interesting selection of drinks and interior is wheelchair accessible aside from bathroom being up some steps. Interior is nice.

Went into Mount Radford this evening. Been visiting for years, but have to say the service and attention to detail has really been stepped a notch of recent times. Great food. Great staff. A credit to the management. Keep it up!

One of my favourite pubs in Exeter. Such a lovely local feel to it. The new beers are amazing and I'm making it my mission to try them all. Best cheesy garlic bread ever! Will always meet up here before a night out (sometimes we don't end up heading into town!)

Popped in the other day for the Champions League. There were 2 games showing in 2 separate zones with separate sound. The place was busy but managed to find a table. The volume for the games was excellent and the service considering the level of trade was great
