Bosco Pizzeria in Bristol, City of

He intentado varias veces para entrar así que anoche tuvimos éxito! Interesante menú que está orientado en gran medida a la pizza. Queremos compartir una porción de salami ventricina (9 rodajas) que vino con 3 rodajas de foccacia (base carbonizada añadida al sabor!). Mi esposa pidió un poco de mantequilla y yo, aceite de oliva, ambos trajimos rápidamente (sin cargo) y fuimos excelente culo era la salchicha. Mi esposa entonces tenía una lubina asada entera recubierta de gremolata y rellena de hierbas, opté por la pizza veneciana (boquerones salados, mozzarella con leche, tomate, grana padano, alcaparras fritas, Aceitunas negras, ajo y orégano, excelente pero demasiado para un apetito senior! Mi mejor sabor a pizza de la historia de la anchoa había impregnado completamente y la masa era perfectremainder inteligentemente en caja para mí. Teníamos una jarra de su casa roja y un trebbiano blanco. Ambos eran muy buenos y de precios competitivos. Terminado con café y un affogato compartido. El personal era amable y atento, obviamente tienen un gran equipo. ¡Volveremos!

Tuvimos un gran almuerzo en el pueblo de Bosco Clifton, me encantó el ambiente del lugar. El servicio fue rápido y amable, bueno era delicioso! No podía fallarlo : )

Durante una de nuestras visitas más recientes a la sucursal de Clifton (Whiteladies Road) de esta cadena de restaurantes, nos dijeron que la sucursal de Clifton Village (Regent Street) había reabierto. Esto fue después de haber estado cerrado - abajo durante casi cuatro - años. Por lo tanto, nos prometimos que, cuando volviéramos a Clifton Village, haríamos una visita; así que hoy lo hicimos. Sentimos que puede ser revelador comparar los mismos platos ofrecidos en los dos restaurantes. Gelato de chocolate - esto no se puede comparar: a) porque no he tenido este postre en un restaurante Bosco antes, y ser) porque sospecho que se compra - en el mismo proveedor. El costo también fue el mismo: 2 platos (a elección de mi socio) por 14 £ , y 3 platos (a elección mía) por 17 £ . Una vez más elegimos tomar un par de copas cada uno del encantador vino blanco Grillo de Sicilia a £ 7 por copa. El servicio era muy bueno y el personal de espera era servicial y agradable. Nos impresionó particularmente que nuestro camarero ofreciera dos platos para compartir, para que pudiéramos dividir mejor los dos entrantes compartidos. El interior del restaurante es bastante pequeño y estrecho. Nos preguntaron dónde nos gustaría sentarnos y habíamos optado por el comedor trasero - zona que tenía un vidrio - techo. El comedor delantero - zona es algo menos bien - iluminado y también es menos espacioso ya que el bar está situado en esta zona. Había una fiesta de cinco personas sentadas cerca de nosotros con los padres y abuelos de una niña pequeña (que es el cumpleaños que era). En línea con nuestras expectativas, la niña se aburrió y quería rodar su cochecito de juguete por el restaurante. Sus padres no permitieron que esto sucediera; y el resultado fue una rabieta (afortunadamente corta). Algunos sobornos rápidos de sus abuelos que produjeron un regalo adecuadamente pequeño y atractivo para ella para desenvolver y sentarse y jugar - con. La paz fue restaurada.

Avoid at all costs. No GF options and terrible service! Far better pizza available in Bristol. Food was less than average and service was not good at all.

We booked Bosco due to the high rating and so glad we did! Warm and friendly service from the moment we walked in to the moment we left For starters we ordered their arancini, bruschetta and meatballs. All were very flavour some!! We then shared a pizza and so glad that we did. They're huge! And absolutely delicious! Gorgeous pizza sauce! I'd highly recommend.

I don’t normally leave reviews as most issues are small and easily fixed, however these ones are bigger. Having heard a lot about Bosco and eager to support a new local business my friends and I decided to try it out. None of us want to go back. The staff weren’t that friendly and didn’t seem to be trained properly with regards to the menu. One of our party is Gluten Free and was told that she couldn’t have any of the pasta or pizzas as there were no GF options, which is absolutely shocking. However, a few days after our visit she discovered there were a couple of options, not a great selection, but a few things she could have had other than a salad if the waiter had been trained…so she got her meal refunded. The waiter should’ve known what was GF and if he didn’t then he should’ve asked someone else or tried to have put something else together for her. Furthermore, a couple of us were vegetarian and vegan. They do not have a vegan menu! Which again for 2021 is completely shocking and unacceptable. I don’t think I’ve been to a restaurant without a vegan menu for years and years, I had no trouble with vegan food in Italy and it has never been a problem with the heaps of other Italian restaurants in Bath which offer a separate menu with vegan cheese, pesto and desserts. Even fast food meat based chains likes Maccies offer vegan alternatives. Succeeding in Bath with high rents and vast competition is difficult, especially when isolating a lot of people. There seemed to be one pasta dish that was meat free and I was told they could simply serve it without cheese to make it vegan. It was a small portion and pretty dry, I’ve bought better red sauce from a supermarket but for this I was charged £10. My other option was a cheerless pizza….not even a suitable salad. Again in other Italians the pomodoro pasta option is cheaper and tastier than this. It must also be noted that the cheese which the pasta and pizzas come with is not vegetarian as the vegetarian in our party discovered written in the small print at the bottom of the menu, which she almost missed. She had to request the vegetarian option…this should be made more clear as most people assume the cheese is vegetarian and could easily end I know eating the other. The other members in our party without dietary preferences or allergies were able to order fine, but didn’t think it was anything special and were also disappointed with the service received. Such a shame, we all love eating out and do it rather a lot.

Visited bosco pizzeria in bath however I cannot find their trip advisor page! The restaurant is decorated elegantly, the food was superb and great value for money! The staff were attentive and helpful. We were shocked when they informed us they had only been opened a week as the service and food was fantastic. We will be returning!

Excellent pizzas. I’m not really a pizza fan as I don’t like melted cheese but went with family and had the fresco pizza with fresh non melted mozzarella and prosciutto. It was delicious. The most beautiful base! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the restaurant has a good atmosphere. Would thoroughly recommend.

One of my favourite restaurants in Bristol. The pizza is always absolutely amazing - quality ingredients and good choices. The starters are great too, especially the arancini. Staff are happy to help without being overbearing, and the atmosphere is warm. Pricing is very fair considering the fantastic quality of ingredients. Would happily have dinner here every day!

Authentic Italian with relaxed vibe. Pizza is light and generously covered with toppings. Burrata with anchovies was excellent coupled with salad. Tiramisu dessert was so light and divine. Finished with limoncello to close a great evening

We regularly order takeaway pizzas from here and the food is always of a consistent high standard. We ate in tonight and were equally impressed by the service generally and the attention the staff gave our two year old. We were able to order his food to come out at different times to ours and he was given colouring in to do. He really enjoyed being able to see the pizzas being made and cooked too. A fun family evening out.

My family and I came to visit my brother who is studying at University in Bristol and he took us to his favourite pizza spot in town! We were not disappointed at all the food was immaculate and the pizza was arguably better than the pizza we had when we went to Naples as a family two years ago. Our waitress Bella was charming and very good at food and drink recommendations which made the experience all the more enjoyable. The arancini and Bosco carne pizza are winners.

We arrived at the restaurant at 21:00, although the restaurant is closing at 22:00, we decided to try and see if we could get a table without reservations anyways. Of course is always a bit risky in these kind of situations but we tried anyway, so we were "welcomed" by this young Italian guy, rude and unprofessional, we asked If at least we could wait and the answer was "well, I don't know, you could wait one hour, 2 hours, I'm not gonna tell you to wait". The inside seemed quite busy(there was a small seat available outside) although we were asking for only 2 pizzas which I don't really think is such a big deal. So we left but decided to come back and ask if it was possible to get at least 2 take away pizzas (which by the way,it takes literally less than 5 secs to make a pizza).So we were welcomed by a waitress this time; the guy from before was busy but saw us, but instead of coming and talk to us and try to find a solution for us, he sent the waitress to tell us that we couldn't get the take away pizzas because it was busy; this all happened after the waitress happily told us we could get the take away and gave us the menu to choose from. We left very disappointed, even more after we realized there was another restaurant with the same name, probably the same owner, we called it and at first they didn't answer, after that they just put down the phone call without even give us a chance to talk. Very poor customer service, unkind and disrespectful staff. I just want to add that we are Italians as the staff and the owners, and we felt very bad about how we were treated. We won't come back and wouldn't recommend.

After our initial booking elsewhere fell through, we tried Bosco, but assumed they were probably full. However they quickly found space for us on the bar/window area outside. Our waitress was phenomenally good, with good recommendations for food/drink, and attentive service. The arancini and the seafood starters were so memorable, and I can't wait to come back.

Smashed it. Service was fantastic and the two pizzialos are pure fire. Pizza hits every note, amazing crist. Crispy like pastry as you bite in then strong and chewy as it resists in your mouth. The ingredients are top and the flavour delivers like no other as a result. Quality all over. Always ordered from here but tonight sat in for the first time and to have it fresh was a religious experience. Amazing work team. Keep doing your thing 💪
