Booths Settle in Craven

Just popped in for inspiration for Dinner and ended up getting the 3 for £12 packs (which will cover 5 Dinners!), meal deal for lunch and fabulous potatoes that were picked that day. Yes they were a bit expensive but to be honest I could have just eaten those they were amazing.. accompanied by steak pie slice and veg it was all delicious. The young man who served us was very helpful and friendly (didn't get his name unfortunately) but it was 24.07 around 2.45pm

Sadly, as I live locally, this is our only supermarket, apart from the Co-op. It's extremely expensive and I have often found the quality is poor. Just sent my husband for some fresh basil. He had to buy the last packet and there were hardly any basil leaves in it and half of it was decaying. I recently bought a cooked chicken and it was as dry as a bone. Threw half of it away. I've also had to take a pack of cherry tomatoes back as half of them were mouldy. Would never shop here by choice, only use it in emergencies.

Harrison served me on New Year's Eve. Lovely young man. Chatty, friendly, and helpful customer service. People are quick to complain these days so good service deserves a mention.

Why can't all supermarkets be as good as Booths? We called in whilst on holiday and were so impressed. The staff were helpful and clearly enjoyed their job. The lady on the deli counter ( the one who used to live in Stockport) was most helpful. The range of food was outstanding. I was able to stock up on all the things I cannot get elsewhere. The range of miniature reds was so much better than anything I can find in Stockport.
