Great as always. Visit boo koos a couple of times a year and it never fails to deliver. Burgers fantastic, portions generous, staff/service efficient and friendly, what more can you ask for!

Not American in the slightest. Everything was dry and was worse than the one time I went to America and had a Popeye's biscuit without water.

Enjoyed the food, service was a little slow, but given the place was full and orders seemed to be going across the road to one of the pubs understandable or now over reaching for the facilities and staff available?

Service was absolutely terrible booked a table when arrived was shown our seats and was left for 20 mins before we had to grab a member of staff to ask to order as they had forgotten, meanwhile as other customer's were waking in being served within 5/10 mins. We had no apology we won’t be returning such a shame

Fitted us in without a reservation. Good service and so much to choose in the menu! The ambience and decor is spot on. Love it!

Excellent service and great atmosphere plus the food was so yummy!😋 Definitely must visit if you're near by. Book to avoid disappointment or a long wait. Definitely worth the wait though! Toilet facilities are well kept and quirky too. BTW, try the root beer. I keep hankering after this place! Go if you're even remotely near don't miss out! Great Grub!

My partner and I went to Boo Koos recently and we were not disappointed. The Staff were friendly and efficient and we had some excellent Chicken Wings and excellent Burgers.The food was delicious but a bit messy.It would be nice at the end of the meal if they could provide some wet wipes to clean your hands. Thank you. We will be back.

Have eaten in and taken away from here many times, food consistently great, some of the best burgers we've ever had, particularly the smokehouse squealer KC Deluxe. The chilli cheese fries are amazing and milkshakes are also excellent. Informal inside with loads of American style bits and bobs hanging up, staff always nice. I know some people don't like their burgers because apparently they're too big? Just order the smaller size... Only 20 - 30 mins to pick up take away order so can't complain there, much better than some of the wait times we've had on justeat etc. Yes it's more expensive than McDonalds, probably on par with some other burger chains, but you get so so much more for your money and also supporting a local business. Never hesitate to recommend this place, we will be coming here again and again.

The food was good, although it was quite a wait for it but we were told that when we ordered which was good. It was very nicely decorated. It's just such a small venue that it felt like everyone was looking at you which made me very self conscious and nobody likes that when they're eating.

Walked Out - No Service! Was really looking forward to our first trip, my husband's birthday. Walked in and up to the counter as instructed by a sign. Waited for a couple of people to order takeaway (4 members of staff available but didn't acknowledge us). The server didn't even look at us once she had done the takeaway orders. I asked what I thought could be the manager how to get seated and she said at the counter. She then grabbed menus and took us to a table. She threw the menus down and walked off. Still no eye contact or even a hello at this point. My husband and I sat for 10 minutes, had 2 waitresses clear tables and even polish tables, still nothing. Our menus were closed, hanging off the table waiting for someone to even ask if we wanted a drink. Nothing. We got up and walked out. They still didn't even notice. Hour wasted journey and hungry! Great birthday, thanks!! 😠

Always buzzy atmosphere x amazing milkshakes and great food and service is great

Was going to place a £50+ takeaway order but since the kitchen can’t possibly add extra sauce to my burger (which I only asked for as last time it was bone dry) we thought we wouldn’t bother. Long as the staff is happy don’t worry about the customers. How very accommodating of you haha 😂

If you like American style food or themed places, this is the place to go. A selection of burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches, chicken. Vegan and vegetarian menus to. Big selection of milkshake flavours. I would recommend booking a table as it's not overally a big place but can get busy. When we came it was quite so managed to get a table but a lot was reserved. Even though it was quiet, the staff could have gone around and swept the floor and emptied the bin, which was full by the door. Burgers are tasty, and you can pick what size you would like. Fries come separate, but they are delicious. We had a basket of fries, which did the four of us nicely. The only thing I would say is that the staff came around looking for dirty dishes to collect when some of us hadn't finished eating. Im in the catering industry and got taught to clear when everyone has finished. I would recommend this place as food is nice.

Came here on September 10th with two friends. We ordered at the same time. By the time my friends finished their meals, my side dish of chips finally arrived. I had to sit there and watch my friends eat, then they had to sit there and watch me eat. Off to Maccy D's next time. At least we'll all get our food at the same time.

This is an American BBQ Western themed restaurant. Great vibe, you need to book as it's quite small. I've done the Boos Koos in Falmouth and these are decidedly different in that this place has a very limited menu. It's basically burgers... No steaks, no salads and so it's really limiting. The burgers were good, but the sauces in them had the buns breaking up. Beware of the hot food... The chili rating is very real. The food was good but not great. The milkshakes were expensive but also very, very good. I would give the food 3.5 stars and not 4, but there is no half star option unfortunately.

Best place to eat in Heston, Service was kind, friendly and patient! The food was tasty,they have large portions...the burgers were especially decadent!

Visited at lunchtime and used the pub opposite as the restaurant was full which wasn't a problem at all. The girls in the pub were very friendly and we were able to have a beer while our food was being cooked. The food was delivered to our table and wow what an amazing tasty burger and fries. Will definitely be returning as this was so tasty. Good value as well.

We had a fantastic family meal here, lots of variety. Whilst boo koos didn't have a table for our large party they did however tell us we could order their food from the Bell Inn opposite which was equally as inviting, warm with really friendly staff. We were able to order table service from the Bell Inn. Large portions, reasonably priced and the milkshakes are the best I've tasted in a while. They also had vegan options which was equally delicious. Vegan milkshakes would have been the icing on the cake. But at the same time didn't detract from the excellent meal.

An absolute gem of a restaurant slap bang in Helston. Was originally going to go to Falmouth but parking was simply non existent so went to Helston. A small Texas themed restaurant which serves a whole manner of burgers, Tex mex food. Burgers are huge but also very tasty. One of the best I've ever had. Kids menu is 👌 Very good value for money. Staff and service was excellent and a credit to the restaurant. My only gripe is there isn't a Bookoos in my home town. Please open one it would go down a storm. 🤣

Best ,best burger ever. Hands down awesome. Only in America could you match it. I swear it's the best burger you'll ever eat. Th was a monster burger, bigger than pictures give credit for.

We frequent the Falmouth boo Koo's and used to come to this one years ago, this time it felt dated, had a distinct lack of atmosphere and the seats are tiny and upright...however my chicken burger was grissly and really tough....none asked if our food was ok, my husband's said his burger wasn't as nice either...overall I think the branch needs a good overhaul....including the one toilet 😂

I came across this place as somewhere for a quick lunch, I am Gluten Free so wasn’t expecting a huge amount to be available but when we got in there we were kindly greeted. They had a whole separate gluten free menu with every burger being gluten free and a lot of their sides! I ordered a gluten free buffalo ranch chicken burger, they brioche roll was gluten free too and it’s the best burger place I’ve ever been to! We had the tater tots as a side, also gluten free, everything was delicious. Definitely recommend driving to get a burger especially if you are gluten free!!!

INCREDIBLE! I am leaving fat and happy. The food, the service, the staff, all absolutely phenomenal. I can confirm it is true, authentic American food which I’ve been searching for since moving to UK! Sweet lord I’ll be dreaming of this food for the foreseeable future. Be sure to book as it gets busy!

If your in or anywhere near Cornwall it would be criminal not to visit BooKoos, the menu is amazing with some excellent vegan options (please add a plant based traditional burger to your menu!) Also impressed with the tasty array of imported soft drinks, the pineapple was great. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back!

Stopped in on the off chance, wasn’t super busy got seated, after 30 minutes I actually got up and asked if we could order food, the food it’s self was alright but just bad service this time, wasn’t enough knife and forks for the table, no sauces on the table and overall just felt like we weren’t particularly welcomed Won’t be back again for a while

What a amazing burger joint. We ate across the road at the pub via their partnership. Worked great, amazing burgers came quickly too. App worked well too. Shame we live so far away we can't come back so easily.

Didn't actually eat in BooKoos but in the Bell Inn just across the road, once ordered they said it would be about ten to fifteen minutes, they brought them over in ten minutes and the service and the food was excellent. The pub was a great place as well.

Best meal of the week, great portions we all left stuffed, when they say a basket of fries serves 4+ there not joking, and there lovely. Service was great staff couldn't do enough to help.

We visit every time we're on holiday - everything is so delicious. We took our two year old this time and he thoroughly enjoyed his lil boo burger and especially the tater tots! The milkshakes are so tasty with such a selection! Definitely won't be out last visit!

We called in on off chance of a seat. The staff very friendly seated us quickly. Tortilla chips free whilst we awaited food was a nice touch. Milkshakes to die for definitely back for them. Burgers was not to mine or my friends liking , we left over half each, too crispy mincey not juicy enough for my taste buds each to their own though. Onions rings was perfect and pulled pork amazing , fries again not to our taste we left them. I'd definitely go back just wouldn't have the burgers myself.

Had the 12oz Spicy Burger with the loaded chilly fries. Yes it costed £22, but I would happily pay this price again. Great quality meat and they don’t scrimp on the toppings. (Half a jar of jalapeños I recon) Wish I had a photo to share, I have huge hands and had to hold this monster of a burger with both of them.

Every time we are in the area, we pop in to Boo Koos. They never disappoint. Food is always great, full of flavour, massive portions that we always struggle to finish. Staff a very friendly. Only issue is that the benches are a little too tight for a bigger person. I suffer with a kidney disease, for which I am on steroids, that make me blow up twice my usual size. I had to make a huge effort to squeeze in to one of the benches, which made me feel a "little" uncomfortable, that's before eating the meal. After pointing it out to the staff, they were happy to move us onto a table that was adjustable. At no point I felt any judgement from the staff, which is amazing, as too many places will make you feel embarassed and uncomfortable for something that you are not able to control. Keep up the good work guys! We will be back!

I think this was the best burger I ever had amazing food and service

This place is not to be overlooked. We arrived and it was fully booked so they recommended we sit in the bell across the road which we did. I thought at first the pace seemed on the pricey side but everything became clear when the food arrived. Table service from across the road was a nice touch and the meals were outstanding. Portion sizes fit for a king. Couldn’t ask for better service or better food. 100% recommend

Firstly, the food and drinks here are excellent! The milkshake I had was delicious although it could have been a little thicker. The food was great - the fries portions are huge! The menu said the Lil Boos would serve 1 but could easily serve 2! Burgers were incredibly tasty. Although mine came out not as I had asked this was quickly rectified. The reason for only 3 stars was the service was just dismal. We werent even shown to our table, just told to take the one in the window. We were served pretty quickly and the food also came quick, but not once did someone check on us or offer us more drinks. We had one set of cutlery and one napkin between two of us. At one point I tried to get the attention of a staff member by saying excuse me twice, but she never came over. The table in the window was ridiculously hot - the ceiling fans they had just werent doing anything. It became so uncomfortable that we couldnt wait to leave. The staff member finally came over to take away our plates and I asked for the bill - but I felt that after we had paid, she was looking at us like she was expecting a tip.. I am more than happy to tip for good service - but that didnt happen here. Its such a shame because the good was so nice. Not sure if I would return.

They managed to accommodate us on a Sunday lunch time even though we hadn't booked for our group of 11. Food was good, hot and nice size portions. They also knew their menu well and were able to provide dietary advice. Polite, friendly staff, would visit again if I'm in the area.

Left a 3 star🌟🌟🌟 review yesterday, for their new establishment across the road(the Bell Inn), but because they didn't like my review and comments, they've blocked my review so it now isn't visible to the public! Maybe actually take note of my comments instead of blocking it from view. My review for them(the Bell Inn) is as follows... Average. Yes it's dog friendly, and yes it has a beer garden, pool and sky sports. Yes the staff are friendly and welcoming. But unfortunately the ale selection is very poor, they only have mediocre Sharps ales, no proper local ales.🍺👎 The burger choices aren't all that either, sadly, the vegetarian and vegan options are just bean/lentil based ones, no meat-alternative options. I will say though that the toppings and sauce choices were very good. If they get a better selection of cornish ales on tap and some meat-alternative burgers, then I'd be happy to adjust my rating to 5 star.

American style restaurant stands out to the rest of the nearby places and is a really delicious option. I love how they have the choice to have a mini burger as I don't have a big appetite. Only thing - it tasted like the chips were cooked in a weird oil so wasn't the biggest fan. The service was amazing! Very sweet girls.

Kids and Adults - we enjoyed the burgers, hot dogs and milkshakes on offer. Everything had a distinct taste and flavour - a treat worth it. Enjoyed it.

Boo Koo was actually an emergency solution because most of the restaurants were already fully booked on Whit Monday. Nothing better could have happened to us. Great atmosphere, really attentive and friendly service and the food was much better than expected. If the Cajun Chicken had been a little juicier it would have been given 5 stars.

The service was good we ordered a takeaway. The food was not so good! All the burgers were burnt and the cheese in them was so crispy we removed most of it. The buns were all soggy around the edges. Chips were very salty and also burnt! Just avoid!
