Came along to Bonbon with friends after a day out, immediately the interior jumped out as cool and artistic... Staff were friendly and attentive, we tried the flavoured hot chocolates (mine was orange), and wow the flavour was amazing! Only criticism being that it seemed really thin, would have been amazing if a little thicker. The flourless chocolate cake was incredible- will definitely be coming back next time!

Popped in today for some afternoon "tea". Had the worlds most delicious chewy peanut butter cookie, my husband flourless chocolate cake that he said was great. Excepting the hot chocolate came in a cup I couldn't hope to hold it was so hot with no handles, and disappointingly it was just boiled chocolate water which was undrinkable. My husband said they need to also get their coffee right. Hire a barista, change the recipe, just don't have such brilliant product and lousy drinks. Loved the owners image and brand - absolutely artistic and love that she's in her business, serving and making it happen. Loved that.

The old mill on Redhill street is beautifully refurbished and Ancoats Coffee Co held such promise with glass doors , indoor and outdoor dining space, twinkling fairy lights I chose outside in the lovely Mancunian sunshine to enjoy my cake and fresh orange drink, unfortunately this is where things start to go down hill, firstly cash is not accepted in this establishment, plastic is king, my cake looked like an appealing Madeira on its plate, I think it would have given the lovely refurbished bricks a run for their money, hard is too soft a word but not as hard as the seating, I think I am well padded in the posterior but These chairs WOW they were made of a galvanised material so to be expected but couldn’t you have invested in something soft to sit on ! One visit is enough for me. Not a

Located just away from the northern Quarter on great ancoats Street this is a pub we have been using for decades and we always have a great time there. The place is full of history and it is worth a visit just to look at the ceiling alone believe it or not! This particular visit was on a sunny Thursday and the place was busy both inside and out but they still had loads of tables available. They have a fabulous range of drinks at reasonable prices and this is so varied there is definitely something for everyone. Another good thing was they always have loads of stuff on so you get served quickly and in a friendly manner. It was great to sit out in the Sun and enjoy a beer or two whilst watching the busy streets around you at the same time.

Nice relaxed space. Great cuts of steak, fresh and flavourful sauces, crisp hot fries, nice wine and cocktails. Brilliant gluten free options. And all very reasonably priced - steak, chips, sauce, and a glass of wine gave me change from £20! Well worth a casual lunch trip.
