A fine pub! Worthy of its global fame.

IMHO this is generally the best bar for real ale in Glasgow. Consistently good service. Now has some fine malt whisky available off sales to augment it's on sales selection.

Great looking traditional pub with a nice selection of real ales and beers, as well as a amazing choice of whiskies.

Back to the lovely welcoming of the bon accord and a great lunch New menu but still some old favourites x🍟new hand cut fresh chips mmm

Really nice pub. The host is very welcoming and knowledgeable, made us feel very welcome. The choice of whiskies and beer is magnificent.

Great bar for whiskey drinkers. Also good selection of cask ales always available. Well worth the short walk from City Centre.

Food was excellent, service staff were attentive, polite, and very welcoming. I came for the cask ales, and ended up cancelling my dinner reservation elsewhere, as I was enjoying myself here, I decided to eat, and it was the correct decision.

Best pub in glasgow by a country mile great food (try the fish & chips more like whale and chips) for a first time visit always have a go at the soup and a steak pie deal trust me you will come back, one of if not the best selection of ales in glasgow well kept and always flowing!!! Popped in for a quick pint. Stayed for another... and a meal! The chilli was tasty and very generous portions. We had a great time. The real ale selection is second to none in the area and all so very well kept. A true gem of a pub with a real locals feel that's equally welcoming for weary travellers.

On the list of places to visit and did not disappoint. Fantastic range of whiskies along with guest ales on draught. Didn't try the food but it looked delicious.

Huge variety of single malts at a reasonable price and with even 3.5 cl drams, unlike the 2.5 cl drams in London

Incredible selection of whisky and great service. Loved the atmosphere and found it great that there was an app to look through to help you decide on your drink. If we return to Glasgow we will certainly be back here!

Great wee bar with extensive whisky options

This is a world renowned whisky bar and you cannot come to Glasgow and not visit here if you love whisky. They also have delicious food. They have an app with all their whiskies so look it up, and when you are there they will give you an ipad to look through, too. This makes them the best whisky bar in my opinion because you can see the selection and the prices. They are friendly and knowledgeable and I love this place so much!

A great place altogether. Food was super, ales and whiskies fantastic but above all else, the staff were simply excellent.

Was told off strictly for having a great time and all laughing with friends visiting Scotland for "not being that kind of pub". We are happy to oblige and quiet the volume but rushing straight over made it feel like they were having a go rather than discussing with us. We understand being excited and loud but it came across as confrontational.

The best pub I know. 10 changing real ales, real cider, home cooked food by Brendan, oh at least 450 malt whisky's to choose from. A must visit

Famous bar ,near Mitchell Library. Extensive range of meals and drinks available, lots of seating , thought best to reserve if you want to spend some time in this establishment.

So I was a visitor to Glasgow and was taken here by a friend, although initially sceptical, (from the outside), as soon as you get inside it feels welcoming. But wow I had never seen a pub like it, and tbh I didn't know that many whiskeys existed in the world. Definitely worth a visit if you like Whiskey

Had an unscheduled stopover in Glasgow due to travel issues caused by storms. Fancied heading out for a bite to eat and a drink in the evening- pub came up recommended online. The good reviews were spot on as it's a lovely pub. The place looks great and historic, inside and out. Lots of cozy spots to sit and chill- my type of place. Everything was clean and well-kept, including the toilets. Quite a few customers were there for food and the meal I had was excellent (Cajun chicken and fries) and pretty good value. Staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Pub is obviously known for its large whisky selection- it's pretty impressive and I sampled a few. There's a great selection to try for whisky lovers. Plenty of everything else too if you're not into whisky. Can't really criticise anything. It's a lovely pub, not far from major transport hubs, with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Also has football on TV. Staff are excellent, foods good and if you're into whisky, it's a dream. Recommended.

Lively whisky bar with an outstanding DIGITAL whisky menu and selection. So refreshing to no have a constantly out of date paper-based menu. Their iPad whisky menu could only be made better by having full label details and links to Whiskybase. Fairly reasonable prices with some hidden gem values for the whisky hunters. Good spacious bar to find a seat on a Saturday night especially compared to the claustrophobic Pot Still and Ben Nevis

Simply put one of the best whisky bars in the world and a great pub to boot. The staff know their stuff, are attentive, friendly, welcoming and funny. The whisky is keenly priced and you'll find treasure everywhere behind the bar - and if you're not sure, ask the staff and they'll have great recommendations. The food is great and well priced, but I've taken one star off just in case anyone reads this and thinks they're getting some fancy fine dining stuff - you're not, you're getting proper quality pub grub. There's always a great atmosphere, any night of the week. Get along!

Soup and a main course for a tenner. Not haute cuisine, but decent wholesome food. Tried a few malts. The only problem with 600 to choose from is making the choice.

What a perfect spot to enjoy a good dram? This pub is large and even has tons of bar seating. Over 600 whiskies to pick from and prices that are incredible

It should open at 11 AM but it was still closed at 1PM no message or information on the door. Disappointing...

We went to try some Scotch Whiskeys and they treated us EXCELLENTLY!! They selected a few for us, explained each one and let us take photos in the bar (it was full) and we even spoke with the owner. Recommended! It was an unexpected Whiskey tour.

Fantastic pub, with imported beers including Moretti (why I don't know, maybe in Scotland it's considered very good). Very good food, haggis cooked well and very good. Lots of meat and abundant condiments in the sandwich, the only sore point are the thin fries and not the usual and delicious "thick cut fries. I will definitely be back!

7 of us had a meal and wine. Food was excellent and staff lovely. Well done to Jonathan who looked after us all, attentive with a pleasant sense of humour. Thank you. Worth a visit and handy for King's Theatre.

Great pub for Malt Whisky lovers and real Ale. Bon Accord certainly looks after the ale. I had Cullen Skink for lunch and it was lovely. The pub itself is well designed, has a nice atmosphere with a vintage look. Their whisky selection is awesome. The bar staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. A 20 minute walk from Buchanan bus station. Highly recommended.

Lovely hospitable Scottish service in a cosy venue. The sweet potato and carrot soup was incredible, and I enjoyed the Haggis, neeps, and tatties. This place has the most extensive whisky selection for sale I have ever seen.

Absolutely the best bar in Glasgow, if you like proper beer, whisky and rugby. Was really busy but service was quick, and what a choice of ales.....about 10 on draft. Whiskys......more than I can count. Definitely recommended.

Visited The Bon Accord as a friend's Mum worked there in the 60's. We received a warm welcome, and sat through the back on a cosy sofa. We had some lunch which was so fresh and tasty. Looking at the photos and awards it's clear this is a great place to both work and visit. We will definitely be back when we visit Glasgow again.

Loved this place. Friendly, attentive service matched by really great pub grub. Good atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon, with couples and groups but not overly noisy. The burger is huge, with two giant onion rings on top. The fries were hot and fresh. Came with a lil pot of coleslaw and some salsa. However...if you're getting any kind of potato or dippable thing, make sure you get some or Brendan's Whiskey Sauce. Heavenly, like a thick and creamy sauce you'd find on a good steak or meatballs.. If they bottled this stuff up I'd have bought some. Speaking of, they've won tons of awards for their whiskey, which you can buy in the pub itself.

One of Glasgow’s best pubs, great atmosphere, fantastic selection of guest beers, and a stunning selection of whisky.

A must for everyone visiting Glasgow. Easy to reach (close to Charing Cross Station), family business, great food variety, as for the drinks I've never seen so many in one place. If you're at a loss of what to choose, just ask any of the guys or girls at the bar, they're super competent and so happy to helpp you out. I'd be in there every day for a pint and some drams if I lived in Glasgow.

I used the Bon Accord as my local when I lived locally 30 odd years ago. I loved it. The real ale was the big attraction for me and you always felt welcome. I moved to the east end and for some reason thought that the pub had closed! imagine my delight to find you are still open. The Bon Accord fed and watered me for 15 years. Thankyou.
