Bombay Cuisine in Milton Keynes

Easily the best Indian takeaway anywhere near Milton Keynes and I've lived here for forty years. Good portions but most importantly the food is quality. Lamb is tender, vegetables are fresh, and rice is amazing. A pound or two more than the rest but you get what you pay for. The Nepali is fantastic!

Be sure to order your food before arriving. I waited 10 minutes, all the staff were in the kitchen. A member of staff left the kitchen, saw me, then walked away. So I continued waiting, then phoned them. He left the kitchen to answer the phone, but when I told him it was me, he asked me to wait. And walked back into the kitchen. I walked out of the door. I'm not a regular, but I have had meals from them in the past....

Place is called Bombay cuisine and not one dish is from Bombay (City in India). No Bombay favourites like Pao Bhaji, Ragda Patticce or bhel puri. Wonder why they call it Bombay Cuisine when its more like Dhaka (Bangladesh) Cuisine.Don’t be fooled by the name, this is no real authentic Indian, just a British Curry house with watered down dishes.

Food is okay overall but a bit pricey. Some starters strike me as stored convenience food such as the samosas and kebabs, the lamb chops starter is virtually all bone. However main dishes a d sides are much better and also far better value for money. Dealing with staff is acceptably pleasant although they are a bit amateurish in presentation and dealing with transactions.

Best Indian takeaway biriyani is very good

Second time we've had food from here and just as good as the first time. Was ready to collect and really hot on collection. Got home and food was so moreish. Will definitely be eating here again!

New customer ordered a takeaway and the chicken vindalo was rubbish from them half of a portion should of got much more never again

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I’m so impressed with the food and service that it felt like the right time. The food was amazing, all of the flavours were superb, none of the food was greasy, you could taste each of the individual elements of the dishes separately, including the vegetables which I normally find isn’t the case. It’s a shame the rating is only out of 5 stars, because I’d definitely give 10/5 if I could!

Delicious! All of it. Loved the option of adding chilli to my Pasanda.

The tandoori and tikka were tasty if a little dry. Good portions, the Biryani was huge. The Sag Paneer was poor, you have to pay extra for the paneer! So its just a sag!!! Goan chicken curry was very tasty but very oily. Salad was terrible, a pot of raita and a bag of lettuce. All in all, Tasty but Disappointing...

Very good curry and excellent Naan breads. The food delivers quickly and is always hot. Probably the best curries I've had in the Stony area. Would definitely recommend for quality and service. It is takeaway only and the only downside for me is the price (fairly expensive) and the lack of any discount (please correct me if I'm wrong?) for pick up (rather than delivery) which makes it quite expensive for a takeaway only service ( which are typically cheaper than restaurants).

This is our go to place for Indian food. The food is amazing and it is always delivered on time and delivered hot.

I understand this established has changed hands so thought I would try it out after a expensive disappointment before. This time round the food was on point and absolutely worth the money I parted. Will be going back again and definitely reccomend.

The delivery was a lot late. Also they didn't follow my instructions and had one of the starters wrong. Oh yes and the food was a shame for any cook.

Had the very best Chana Dahl ever on Thursday, lovely Saag Paneer too, had some very poor dahl in my time, this was excellent, thank you chef! X

Called up for a delivery and was told that's was fine, got through whole order and explaining how to find the house on the country road and was abruptly told that they can't deliver because it's too confusing and really far, despite already having given address that was 12 minutes away and the only instruction I gave was I will stand on the road so you know which house to come to. Very rude man and I hope no one ever has to deal with this mistreatment the way I have had to.

Great Value for Money and Great Flavors.

Been using these guys for 15 years and have followed them from different establishments. The best curry in Milton Keynes. If they had a restaurant I'd be there as well. Highly reccomend them.
