Absolutamente comida basura. Poppadom cocinado en aceite viejo, pan nan masticable - no se cocinó hoy, curry muy seco, sin salsa. Sólo patético. Definitivamente no se recomienda. Horrible experiencia 😞😞

so called delivery driver told me I had the wrong code , so had to go back to hotel room to check . went back to so called delivery driver , gave him the same code and even then wanted to argue about it . he was arrogant. self righteous and most of all wrong . Will not be ordering again . well done so called delivery driver who can't even listen to what code I had which was correct all along

Used to visit them often, unfortunately quality of service food go down massively...

Ordered 2 boxes costing a total of £30 and this is how it turned up!!! Restaurant were extremely unhelpful and no refund issued

The meal turned up completely mangled.. The box was open and squashed, the sauce had leaked everywhere. It was awful.

¡Decepcionado! No he tenido picaduras de Bombay en un tiempo y así que decidí tener una caja esta noche. Las papas fritas sabían como si hubieran quedado y refritas. El cordero era terrible, no trozos apropiados de carne, era como si hubieran comprado un paquete de carne de sándwich barata y la hubieran calentado. Y no me di cuenta de que ahora tienes que seleccionar la fuente separada que es extra, así que no tenía fuente. En lugar de tener un curry se sentía como una toma de mierda en un kabab.

Took over 2 hours not very warm

I went in here to buy food after night out this past Saturday. There were two guys working & the shorter older guy was dishing using his hands with no cloves on, it was disgusting, he was digging into a bowl full of rice with his hands & serving into the boxes and then wipe his hands on his trousers. He must have thought no one was looking, i was disgusted but i was so hungry i only ate the meat served on top of the rice cos he used a spoon to dish the meat as it was straight out of the microwave and hot. I threw away the rice

Food is tasty but haven’t seen more disgusting place. Visit the place before ordering online and I bet you’ll never order again. I wonder how they have the license to operate without following basic hygiene!!

the £6 popdums are definitely not worth the cost and arrived all broken. despite the place being 10 minutes down the road, it arrived barley warm and it was ok in taste. it is not something I can rave about at all.The mutton was not pleasant unsure if this is how it's supposed to be and taste but it was not to my liking [cut like doner meat pieces) Quite a strange texture and definitely the rice to Nan bread ratio was not even the same

My box meal was so spicy I could not eat it. I ordered sweet. We are regular’s first time of being disappointed with my meal. 🙁

Food was great and delivery driver was nice but I’m very disappointed with the time it took just eat to allocate a driver. We ordered at 6pm which said an estimated time of 25mins but the food did not come until 7:20 which is nearly an hour and a half. It has put me off wanting to use this app as I was also ordering food for my 2 year old child as a treat and she had to wait along time.

We ordered via Uber eats. Food arrived early and piping hot. Very good portions and very tasty food, highly recommend the build your own boxes

Good curry box! This has gone down hill the nan bread use to be made fresh now it's microwaved and it tastes like rubber the food flavour it's not what it use to be. No dhall on the menu.

I had the make your own, with 2 meats, chicken tikka, chicken tikka masala with rice, extra sauces, sweet and spicy and the balti sauce, topped with crispy onions. The meal arrived piping hot, the rice was lovely and fluffy, the meat was succulent and tender, the sauces were authentic and very tasty. All in all, it was the best Indian takeaway in Leicester that I have had, thank you!!

The tikka masala box was delicious and flavoured perfectly. Unfortunately the poppadoms arrived in crumbs making them inedible. However Food arrived on time and was delivered by a lovely lady driver. :)

Fast delivery but the most underwhelming curry I had in a long time. All, tikka, nan, rice and sauces. bundled in one container. Looked disgusting. Never again!

Haven't been Bombay Bites for years, since it was on Belvoir Street. A lot more modern these days, but food still tasted great. I had mutton curry, with chips, naan and tandoori chicken, hot and spicy. My mate had paneer. Both spot on! I'll be going again, just wish I lived a bit closer!

Ordered a large maharaja chicken, mutton and chips box. Nice taste but there was very little chicken and literally 2 small pieces of mutton. Not really satisfied.

No rice! Rock hard naan bread Cchutney sauces spilt all over the bag/box and the pots were completely empty? Shocking waste of money poor service

Drove from Birmingham for this place and boy was it worth it. Placed a phone order (2 large number 1s with chips & naan hot with extra green sauce), 10 mins later food was ready, customer service was brilliant. The food though.... Where do I begin, the way the green sauce absorbs into the naan and chips and locks in that flavour, the chicken all soft tender and juicy, it's unlike anything else, it's an experience for your tastebuds! Absolutely devoured it in a matter of minutes. Price for the quality and portion size is perfect. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're reading this and get what I got ^

We were a little disappointed with our previous order but decided to give them one more try. Bombay Bites is back to their fabulous best!! Quality, taste and portions back to when they became my go-to takeaway.

My partner has a nut and peanut allergy that can be quite severe. Ordered takeaway from there last night and stated clearly what his allergies were. Was violently sick and had all symptoms of his nut allergy after eating. Phoned them to let them know but they just offered a refund. Beware!!!

The delivery man was very polite professional and quick give that man a bonus

If there was a zero star for service I'd have chosen that, we went there today and the guy was arrogant and impatient. It's like he didn't want to be bothered...we felt uncomfortable and unwelcomed

Food served time is pretty quick and you eat in but there isn't much space for it the chicken shaslick is pretty good, not a big fan of the tandoori chicken dispite the fact they both really tender. The lamb is kinda tough (more then anticipated) I will come here again and try options on the menu

I never ever tested worst biryani so far in my life. Too oily, salty not 1% worth for money. I don't recommend biryani from that restaurant because i tasted only biryani.

Food order was placed at 17.43 and arrived at 19.40. We called the restaurant numerous times and no help, unable to cancel.on just eat as no.option, food arrived cold and deliver driver didn't seem to care, no apology given!

Bland food, tough mutton & milkshakes really poor - Horrendously overpriced, just tasted like milk. Wouldn't recommend and won't be back.

Got home and they got my order completely wrong and didn't give me the 20% discount they offer during weekday. Rang them to complain and they hung up. Place has gone downhill unfortunately. Plenty of other places that offer better food and service.

I always really fancy a Bombay Bites, used to visit frequently about 10 years ago. Found lately it has been a bit hit and miss, sometimes the chips aren't cooked properly, but the paneer is way over done. It's a shame its not as consistent as it was.

I ordered food that was very bad as well ordered a drink which wasn’t in and no spoon very very very very bad service very bad experience

Twice now I've ordered stuff online from this restaurant and both times they got the delivery wrong or missed things. Avoid the delivery service at all costs. When you ring to complain they don't even apologise.

As a long-time fan for over a decade, I consistently enjoy the Chicken & Mutton Tikka with chips. The mint sauce and green chili add delightful flavor to this fantastic meal. While the menu has been updated since my last visit, I preferred the old white takeaway boxes as they allowed flavors to mix better in a smaller space. My only suggestion is that the sauce in my box today was excessive, overpowering the taste of the chips, and the mutton tikka was slightly cold. Nevertheless, it remains a great spot for Indian cuisine in a convenient box format.

Driver delivered out on the road, said hard to get parking. When there was plenty. The food was nice and it was on time.

I spent £45 for 2 boxes and was so disappointed, don’t get me wrong the food tastes nice but for £45 I received 2 SMALL boxes and didn’t receive the chutney etc that I paid extra for. I don’t think I’ll be going here again, very disappointed with the whole experience to be honesty

Pretty rubbish compared to previous orders. It was like we had been served with yesterday's curry as it was tough and dry, as were the chips, but the naan was undercooked and still actual dough in places.

Went Saturday night both mine and boyfriend had hair in food and made my friend and boyfriend poorly

We ordered mutton curry but instead we have been given chicken, something we find out when we arrived home , when we called the customer service wasn’t helpful at all as he kept saying it was the right order and did not even let me explain. I believe this shop tries to take advantage of people at night specifically after drinks

Why do you guys call yourself desi biryani on Uber? is this a joke? Absolutely bad experience ordering food from here paid a lot of money just for a small box which is also a scam cause we received different orders. Can't go to help from Uber, the restaurant won't answer the calls what do I do? Lost my money and can't eat this inedible food. How is this place still up and running it should be shut down because of the taste, quantity and wasting people's time by scamming. For whosesoever's sake at least be honest about your restaurant's name.

Lovely Mutton Biryani, plenty to share on large one, Veg grill was lovely until i hit a piece of red hot chilli seed which seemed out of place in such a tasty mild veg dish. otherwise nice food would recommend.

Ordered delivery. Tried the meat grill box. Nice concept. Packed nicely in a round box with an appealing presentation. It tasted great with the mix of sweet chutney, crispy onions, chips and naan. I would strongly suggest adding a curry sauce as it was quite dry if you chose to manage with the chutney or mayo. Chicken pieces were tender and so was the naan. The chips/fries tasted really nice and the kids enjoyed it. The meat slices were thin and just the right thickness. I would advice them to add more flavour in the meat. It had an over powering meaty smell considering that this is Indian food, the smell of spices was missing in the lamb. The right mix of sauces and curry will make it taste even better. The price seems to be quite expensive for what they are offering. A drink + small sweet like a piece of jalebi or gulab jamun. should be included in the price to make it fair for the food being offered.

Don’t even deserve 1 star - ordered online via Uber and first of all they call themselves “Desi Biriyani” and secondly they can’t fulfil a simple order of biryani and 2 Pepsi cans - missed the two drinks completely! Totally useless and pathetic service!

Ordered 2 boxes to takeaway , requested two box number 3’s but for the chicken to be replaced with chips in one , got home , no rice or Nan bread just chips in a sauce , hence won’t be back !! Paid £10 for just some chips in a sauce !!

Been a while since I had Bombay Bites, so I thought I'd treat the family and got 3 different boxes for vegetarians plus some samosas. The food used to be very good MANY years ago and value for money, but for what we pay and what we get now, the cost isn't justified. The food is okay and nothing special but the experience isn't worth it anymore and today showed this again. Shame it used to be so good

We have walked past this place multiple but never actually been in before today. We 100% will be returning again! We had a poppadom n dips starter, 2 build your own regular boxes and a drink. (With some kind of lunchtime offer) it was about £24 and it was definitely worth it! Indian take-aways cost a fortune so we very rarely get to enjoy them. Each box gets 2 fillings, 2 bases, a sauce and a chutney. My box: chicken pakoras (similar taste and texture to Chinese chicken balls) and chicken tikka on the naan bread squares and chips. Then korma sauce on the top which was to die for! My partners box: fish pakoras (which melted in the mouth) and chicken tikka on the naan bread squares and chips. He chose the mighty madras Sauce and spicy chutney. He was sweating with spice level and said it was amazing! I think the value for money was spot on and the staff were very helpful explaining the menu. Cannot recommend enough!

Went in for lunch at 2pm. The gentleman knew straightaway it was our first time and kindly offered us a taster. We then ordered 4 small boxes of the different tandoori chicken bites with a variety of naan, chips and rice and a separate order of popadums and chips. The 4 small boxes were full to the rim with delicious hot food and actually was enough for 7 of us. Chicken pieces were tender and juicy and the spices just right. The chips were crispy and the rice complemented the spicy sauces well.

I ordered chips and got naan bread soggy in the box with mutton curry that was like eating grissel. Wasn't impressed at all and I always enjoyed there food! Never again
