Always when paying on card never arrives on time always take ages rubbish However pay cash they don’t want to lose out so will send on time Bit poor really and needs to improve Also to try and remember all items on orders Hopefully the constructive criticism on board as the food is actually ok

I didn’t realise I was supposed to order online but they took my order at the door as there is no counter. Great tasting lamb jalfrezi, great service for a very reasonable price. Well worth a call :)

First time ordering food was actually really nice and tasty exactly what you expect from a local curry place decent price and quality ingredients. Loved the sweet rice!!

Really fairly priced. Have had food on two occasions. On the second one, did taste a little bit more salt then I'd have liked. But i do intend to keep ordering from hassans.

Ordered for the first time tonight following a reccomodation. Got a set meal 1 with chicken rogan josh. It was super tasty with a good spice level, delicious bhajis included ate them in about 2 seconds! Great portion sizes and lots included for the price.

Best Indian in Leicester! Always swayed for the £15 meal combo and it never disappoints, the chicken is always so tender, bhajis are crispy and more-ish, brilliant food and always arrives early with nice delivery drivers! 5*

I don't normally write reviews for takeaways but wow, this one was exceptional. I've lived in Leicester for about a year now and have struggled to find a good curry - everywhere I've tried something was missing. I was craving a curry tonight so I ordered from Hassan's Balti through Just Eat - I really wanted a fish tikka and it was the only place that had it so I ordered fish tikka masala, chicken tikka masala, chicken shashlik, and some poppadoms. The app said the food would be here in 40 mins, but 25 mins later I had a call from the driver to say he was downstairs. And most importantly - the food. Wow, both the fish tikka and the chicken tikka's were the best I have had in a very long time, in fact I'd say the chicken tikka masala is the best one I've ever had. It wasn't bright red unlike some others I've tried, tasted super fresh with plenty of chicken and delicious sause. The shashlik was amazing. And the fish tikka that I had cravings for - literally perfection with plenty of nice white fish. I would totally recommend and will definitely be ordering again next weekend. Thank you!!

Delivery took one and a half hours rather than the 45 minutes they stated. Very disappointed by the food quality, having had numerous takeouts from here before, I don’t think I will be going back. There was so much salt in the dopiaza and sag aloo which ruined all of the taste of those, to the extent could not finish, very disappointed all round

The curry was absolutely delicious, probably the most I’ve had in my life. The samosas were also very delicious and the seasoning makes it feel as if there’s a paradise in your mouth. Thank you Hassan’s you’ll definitely be seeing me soon!!

I placed an order for a chicken jalfrezi and a chicken tikka masala curry. Not badly priced, however, the chicken tikka masala was so salty that it was inedible. I have never tasted a curry so salty in all my years of ordering. Jalfrezi was ok.

Ordered from just eat. Tonight the food was amazing and beautifully cooked and presented. The chicken jalfreze was delicious and succulent,And The curried prawn was delightfull .we had a pickle tray and vegetable rice and pompadoms. The food Was here within 30 minutes and delivery driver was very polite. We will definatley be ordering again 10/10 Thankyou

Ordered a chicken madras, it came with very little chicken, when i complained and asked about it i was told i got someone elses order that asked for hardly any chicken. Don’t worry they said, somebody will call you regarding this, you are a regular so we’ll get this sorted. Months later and not a word, i won’t be back.

Amazing food- as a fussy eater and expert with Indian food I can say for a fact this takeaway provides the BEST FOOD, the lamb meat 🥩 literally is tender and melts in your mouth. The curry is perfectly seasoned. I order 3 times a week also you get offers when ordering through the hassans balti app. Sorry for lack or photos as we eat all the food too quick Mashallah 🥰 jazakallah amazing food

Food was delayed but it was tasty and they threw in some free dips to go with my poppadoms so I am happy 😁

Not very good at all compared to other restaurants to order from, thought we would try this one however you literally get 4 pieces of meat between two people the rice was cold and the naan bread tasted like it was sat there for hours. They also forgot our drinks that we paid for so the driver had to give us some of the money back, but to be honest I’d like a refund for the tikka masala and for the rice seeing as the portion size was so poor and it was cold. It’s also made me feel poorly the next day.

Hands down, the best Indian take away in Leicester! The food is amazing, the lamb in particular is incredibly soft! Just wish they did more deals!

Pizza was horrid, couldn't even finish a slice. Can't speak for the rest of the menu.

First time ordering from here. Ordered 3 12" pizzas, a margarita, pepperoni and meat feast. They tasted bizarre, me my partner and 3 year old daughter couldn't eat much if any. Unsure what it was that tasted very off, the sauce or cheese we believe. Unfortunately won't be ordering again.

Ordered Chicken Rogan Josh. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like Rogan Josh. It seemed like a mix of two curries. There was a curry with brown base and one light layer of a red base on top. Felt like it was an attempt to deceive the customer. Not sure one of them was stale, but I didn't feel good after eating. The garlic fried rice was okay, but the garlic seemed a bit burnt. But to be fair, it could just be their style.

So disappointed with our meal. The tikka masala tasted burnt / reheated food. Onion bajies tasted under cooked and doughy. The nan bread was very doughy and under cooked. One of the main meals tasted like I was eating a spoon ful of sugar with every mouthful with very little taste... The white sauce that they give you with the papadoms tasted very sour and gone off. We normally have good food from here, but today I was very disappointed so I will not be ordering again soon...

We’ve ordered takeaways from Hassan’s loads and always liked the food. But the last curry we got had a stone in it! When we rang to complain they said they don’t work with stones in the kitchen so had no idea where it could have come from. We said we were equally baffled! But they refused to give us a refund. Really disappointing quality and customer service.

I t used to be great but now it seems standards have dropped the food wasn’t as tasty as previous and alot of it cold I mean people have bad days but this has happened the past few times I did really like this place and used them weekly but I may have used them for the last time now I was expecting a great curry and It wasn’t it was mediocre at best and that’s not what I paid for, it used to be very tasty hot and in all a great meal and it wasn’t any of these sorry but you’ve been better than this so what’s changed

Hassans pizza is very tasty with the meat toppings and so cheesy and juicy perfectly cooked. DEFINITELY will be ordering again! The keema naan is yummy and generous filling! Lastly the lamb sag curry is soooo delicious!!! 😋The lamb melts in the mouth with perfect flavour and seasoning. I WOULD highly recommend all food. Great Service. SURELY will be a regular now...! I've used Hassan's Balti 4 times so far, the first 3 were absolutely amazing! Thought I'd finally found an Indian I could rely on and enjoy...untill tonight! ☹️ The chicken tikka starter was so salty I couldn't eat it, the Naan bread wasn't garlic and the chicken tikka masala was so watery I had to drain off the water. Really disappointed

I have used hassans balti for over 2 years, the food has great taste, reasonably priced and quick delivery. The lamb dishes are done extremely well, it is so tender and melts in your mouth. I have only ever had one bad experience here, which was on Ramadan this year, both the chicken and lamb were really dry. I think they could also throw a couple extra popadoms in, when you make a fair size order, u literally get 3 popadoms for 5 meals. But end line is , you have to try hassans, you will not regret it!

Ordered chicken tawa and mixed grill. Chicken did not have much flavour. Too much food colouring used and too much oil. Mixed grill had lot of onions and not much meat. On a positive note prawns was ok in flavour. I'm not happy as paid restaurant prices for poor quality food. I asked for tawa to be spicy and simply added cheap chilli powder and food colouring to make it 'appear' better. Me and my wife both had upset stomach the next day. Will not recommend.

Ordered lamb balti and I've got a mix dish that it's has nothing to do with taste of lamb balti. Charged me more than what was the price in the menu andhe said that he added some extra union pickled and papodom which I didn't ask for.

Had a meal from here last night both my husband and myself have both been ill through the night my husband has been very sick since 3am my food was like eating a plate of salt it really was terrible i would not tell anyone to eat here ....... ever

Excellent curry, loads of flavor and quick delivery. Ordered multiple times now, if your stuck for choice try either the Chicken Jalfrezi, Chicken Madras or Lamb Karahi. So far all mine have come with free popadums, Mango and Raita chutney and onions 👍👍👍

I order from this place regularly , food is amazing, propper Indian food with good spice and taste, also free delivery. Only thing I can say if I’m being really picky, if you order more than 1 meal deal, I still only get 1 salad and 2 popadoms with it, they don’t double it up, but great value for the money! Highly recommend

Use to be good and food is still nice and very hot. They seem to keep increasing the price a lot. Get better deal for the money elsewhere.

I placed a order on just eat, food came early and was piping hot which was good, both chicken tikha curry and garlic chilli chicken was made from the same sauce, both tasted exactly the same, the chicken biryani was nice but a little salty, I ordered the same food 2 months ago and it was 10/10, maybe they have a different chef now, the delivery guy was great 👍

Used this place a couple of times before now and the meal was great but this time me and fiancée were so disappointed waiting over an hour to be delivered it arrived mainly cold not one warm meal out of 2 extremely greasy and some parts of the meal were lacking a lot of flavour when I know as I’ve had better before at other places,this place avoid if you want a good meal as from now I will never use this place again and if they carry on like this I give them a year, left me and my fiancée feeling ill.

Had food delivered and the only thing that felt warm were the foil containers. The chips and rice were cold, the naan bread was barely warm, and the chicken tikka was slightly warmer than the naans " which were the thinnist, smallest naans I've ever had from an Indian takeaway '. This was the 1st takeaway we've ever had that wasn't hot, definitely won't order from here again.

I have just placed an order for Tandori Mixed Grill and paratha and I got food within 30/35 mins. I ordered for my wife and she kept saying Wow! Food is awesome. I tasted the food as well. It was absolutely fingerlicking food. Highly recommended!

First place we tried when we moved to Leicester. Never needed to change. Consistently good food. Tastes like home cooked.

Ordered on just eat but was big let down. Butter chicken tasted like a dessert. Way too much sugar in it. Was like eating a cake. Owner said he never heard of people putting salt in it. Yet every other takeaway I order it from does and it's savoury with a little sweetness. Not pure sugar. Lamb curry was super greasy. Again, owner thinks I must be wrong because it's "measured" amounts and nobody else complains. I guess I must have mistaken the half inch of oil sitting in bottom of container as sauce then? Silly boy! It's not rocket science. Base gravy, mix powder , methi etc simple stuff but was miles away today.

Unfortunately the only good thing about my order was the delivery was fast Super greasy, and terrible seasoning. Owner is in denial and acts like the food is perfect despite the complaint. What a shame.

Having used this takeaway many times I was very disappointing to place an order and not receive any food. Despite waiting almost 2 hours, when the takeaway was called, the owner was incredibly rude, and argumentative and blamed the lack of service on numerous other people/factors. We Never received the order despite Hassans accepting the order and happily taking out money. A simple apology and explanation was all that was needed, and a call to let us know about the delay, instead we were faced with a rude and negative response- very disappointing and will never use again

I'm extremely fussy when it comes to Indian takeaways. I find most of the ones I tried just alright but nothing to write home about,but I can safely say this one hits the nail on the head.I've ordered umpteen times from them and have never been disappointed. One of my favourite places to order a curry in Leicester. Every curry I have had from Hassan's Balti has been excellent. Had the hottest curry I've ever tasted here, and despite being super hot it was still full of flavour. Set meals are a real bargain and although they've recently increased in price they're still a good deal - I've never managed to eat it all even though I have a big appetite.
