Quite simply the best Café there is. As others have said, the cakes and savoury food are brilliant, but even better are the staff. Darcy, Sam, Ellen and Co. Are so friendly and welcoming. They will make you feel like a valued customer and are always happy to chat about anything (especially coffee). The coffee is always top-notch, too, and I love trying the different guest beans.

Absolutely love this place. The staff welcomed me at the door and made me feel so welcome. Helped me with my coffee decision, Darcy really knows his stuff about coffee. Sam was really personable and has a very good customer ethic. Really clean and tidy. Love it here!

BomBom is my favourite place in Loughborough! I live round the corner from Derwent Drive and it's the perfect place to meet friends, meet for business, take the kids, study, read a book... The staff are awesome and fun, the food is amazing, the coffee is great, and it's a great community 💜💜

The best cafe in the whole of Loughborough! The coffee is incredible and I buy the beans to use in the coffee machine at home. The cookies are also superb! The staff are super friendly, especially Darcy and Ellen!

Wow what a little gem of a place! Here at the uni for a football tournament. Ten min walk to Bom Bom. Lady in queue said it would be worth our walk just for the rich cookies alone. We ordered four sandwiches, cookies and mango and pineapple drinks and all I can say was we were pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. The serving staff were very friendly - Sam, Ellen, Maru and Soph - and made us feel very welcome. On our return to the football tournament we sent others to taste the gorgeous food. Gutted not open for our last day here. If you are in the area definitely pop in. Won’t be disappointed

Love it. Cookies are the *Bom*, would recommend the vegan mudpie for a delectable experience. Shoutout to Ellen, Darcy, Sam and Sophie for the BEST customer service I have ever received, and for adding protein to my shakes to keep me jacked. Don't waste your time at the other branches, this one's the best.

Had a fantastic lunch here - my prosciutto focaccia was absolutely to die for and the coffee is next level. Wonderful staff that are welcoming and chatty. Highly try this place.

We were at the patisserie on the loughborough university campus. The cakes and drinks were amazing and the staff were great too. Definitely try the other cafes.

Excellent coffee ☕, gorgeous croissants 🥐, amazing cookies 🍪. The roasted veg focaccia. 🥪 is great, possibly a bit messy - just make sure you have a good serviette (or bib !). Great service too.

I love Bom Bom. My go to place to meet people or even go on my own with my little one. Love the cookies and the sandwiches, chai latte and milkshakes! Always look forward to the new sandwiches and trying them and the different cookie flavours although I love the original. Also lots of vegan and GF treats too.

BomBom is probably the place in Lboro I will miss the most after graduating… and that says a lot, given that this town is where I spent some of my best years of my life. Serving the best cookies, best oat flat white, in the cosiest sit-in area, but most importantly, looked after by the nicest baristas. The Derwent Drive crew have made our stressful final year a whole lotta better. Thank you ❤️🤍

Best coffee in Loughborough, no question! We enjoy good, barista-made coffee and drink enough (too much maybe?!!) of the stuff to be able to compare notes with tons of other coffee shops... Not only does Bom Bom have the best coffee, the staff are warm, chilled and welcoming, and there is always a great vibe. The cookies and cakes are also delicious (dangerously-so). Our only complaint is that it is not close enough to our house! :-)

Welcoming, and helpful staff, Great Coffee, Almond Croissant delightfully warm, scrummy cookies, looking forward to popping in again soon. Conveniently close to university for anyone on a visit from overseas or Somerset! Highly recommended.

Cosy yet industrial vibe coffee shop serving THE BEST COOKIES I’ve had outside of London. They are incredible. Try the classic cookie which is served warm and filled with loads and loads of chocolate chips. Staff are really friendly too. 100% a must visit location.

We came for university visit and found this hidden gem near by campus. it’s a lovely place. Great food, delicious coffee but most importantly very friendly staff. You should definitely pop in to this cosy place.

The cafe is great and cookies… aah we do die for. This cafe been our go to place for last couple of years and our dog as well loved there. But now we can not take dog inside the cafe which is sad as we will miss enjoying the ambiance and cookies … hope this cafe becomes dog friendly again :)

The scab of concrete we call Loughborough is a barren wasteland for good speciality coffee, but Bom Bom is an oasis with wood flooring. Sick of accidentally eavesdropping on old people in a chain coffee shop, wittering on about the volume of their neighbours lawnmower? Enjoy cakes so delicious you'd subconsciously consider wearing it like a hat, because eating it seems too temporary? Get in the queue you naughty minx.

Have been visiting since moreless the start, always my go to when in Loughborough. Such great coffee and cookies, and savoury delights are also very good :-) A great local business.

Had a nice ‘Yule dog’. Food was great, staff were lovely, industrial look is interesting, but it works. Tables were a bit crammed in, but it worked alright.

Absolutely yum..I'm not into fussy food and on my way to work as long shifts..went in so customer friendly.. I got close to what I thought a cheese toasty and wow , I took it back so filled and big I shared it with the person I support ❤..it was so full with flavor I was so surprised...I have an appetite but could not of never of eaten it to myself Would definitely recommend this sandwich shop again pleasantly surprised 🤗

Lovely service, lovely cookie. Tried the pumpkin spice one and was so so good well worth it! The coffee was a little bitter, possibly over extracted but maybe just a roast I’m not used to! Will still return again :)

We visited here as heard the waffles were excellent, I had peanut butter cup waffle oh my god it was so good came covered in chocolate sauce with peanut cups and mini Reece’s I would certainly recommend, good coffee too, if your ever in Loughborough be sure to make time to visit

Always a weekly Bom Bom run in our office! Such a good selection and caters for gf and vegan! Yum yum yum!

This place is amazing! The vibes are awesome, the food is great! Cookies have great texture, a bit sweet for my taste but have a homemade taste that I loved. The savory meals are also very special and tasty. We were there right before closing time, there were some 'leftover' cookies so they gave us one for free. Definitely recommend!

Great Coffee and cookies. Derwent Street is a very small coffee shop, but cosy. Vegan Options catered for extremely well. Freindly staff always make the experience better. Not the cheapest - 2 large cookies an iced Latte and an Americana cost £13.

I love Bom Bom. I’ve gifted their cookie club boxes to friends and clients and everyone always asks for more. The coffee is excellent too. The cafe has a very cozy atmosphere also and the staff are very polite and have great recommendations. I’m definitely going to visit regularly especially with how close it is to Loughborough University’s campus.

Always a good trip out to Bom Bom's. Cookies are delicious with a fine selection of other cakes and pastries. Some savoury food too. They use Has Bean coffee so we can enjoy our subscription at home and then have another sneaky cup out as well!

Not sure if our delivery came from the Derwent or canal shops but we had a box of 8 (4 classic choc chip and 4 white chocolate, pistachio and rose) for Valentine weekend. They arrived fresh and intact but with a vast outer parcel that could have contained 10 boxes. They recommend eating within two days and microwaving the goodies for 20 seconds to make them a bit like straight out of the oven. They were a gift so I don’t know the price but I’m told they were good value. Not bad quality although nothing wildly out of the ordinary. I enjoyed them. One is ample with a mug of tea. Apparently the business has been doing this for about 6 years. It worked well for us even if they were a bit genteel while we watched the 6 Nations with our pints.

Myself and my partner popped in today for brunch on a lazy Saturday. We shared two waffles - both topped with Biscoff and toasted marshmallow, two flat whites, a berry smoothie and limeade and it came to £23. The food is fresh and tasty, staff friendly and overall value for money is good. The place is very hip but still comfortable and I also love that all their packaging (including the plant plastic for the soft drinks) is eco friendly. We’ll be back.

I had been recommended to try this establishment out and it has a real friendly vibe and lots to choose from including gluten free options. The staff were great!

Always excellent at both sites, today we sat out on the grass to have a coffee and took a sandwich and cookie home for lunch. The cookies are pretty much as good as a cookie can get.
