A bloody good night out. Always delivers.

Popped in here for a quick snack as we’ve been before and the cocktails were great. Sadly we were disappointed, we ordered the sushi & there were hardly any prawns for £12 I expected more…

Was not so busy and they said they couldn’t change the song list, so we left.

We had a birthday lunch yesterday with older family members and young people and we really enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere The meals were delicious and we felt very welcome Special mentions for chicken, pork, fish, vegetables and desserts Would definitely return

My friends booked cocktail making for a small group of us to celebrate my birthday. Yasmin was our mixologist for the session and she was outstanding. It felt like a friend was showing us how to make cocktails. It was structured, educational and a lot of fun. We had a welcome glass of prosecco on arrival, were taken to a dedicated area and bar just for the group and made three different cocktails that were all delicious. It's one of the most fun and enjoyable things I've done and I would highly recommend it. After the cocktail masterclass we spent the rest of the evening in the main bar and had more cocktails and food. We ordered a selection of different dishes to share. The service was excellent. The staff are friendly and fun. The food was great. The cocktails were amazing.

First time we had been there,first impressions were good,when we went to order we’re told over half the menu wasn’t available! Had prawns which were £3 each and when they arrived were very small! Had sea bass,which was also a very small fillet! My partner had the veggie option because of the shortage of available food on the menu! And she was not impressed with that either,all I all very disappointed!

I come here every time I'm visiting from the US to the UK. I love it; the drinks are so fun, and they got a new chef that rivels anything I've tasted at home. It's delicious, even just the chicken dish is elevated. Well done, chef. Specifically, I had so so much fun with Yasmin and Jackson recently. They were excellent for knowledge and suggestions, and were very helpful overall.

Stopped at Bohemia for a drink and had the pleasure to meet Jasmin and Jackson at the bar. Both expertly prepared some of their favorite cocktails for us to enjoy. We decided to have dinner while we were there. The food and service were excellent. Good food and friendly service what more could you ask for. Highly recommended!

We had an incredible anniversary dinner at Bohemia. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel in our element and they even gave us 2 flutes of prosecco on the house to celebrate our night. Food was cooked amazingly, presentation was attractive and presented very well. My only problem was that the overall noise of the place was quite high for the dinner area, as the bar was downstairs and had an open plan, but seems to be the case for evening meals. We will come back to try during lunch!

Great cocktails, decent price. Nice dark atmosphere, and not too much background noise so can hear conversations reasonable well Would recommend the apple pie cocktail!!

Awesome cocktails. I definitely recommend the espresso martini's like so many others. Service was top drawer, and the decor was fantastic too. Definitely go back again, a tad more sober next time.

Amazing service. Waiter was very attentive and friendly! The cocktail menu is crazy! Liquors and ingredients I’ve never heard of. Had a take on a spicy margarita and it was one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had!

We went here an hour before closing on a Thursday and it was incredibly quiet but I believe that’s because it was January 2nd. Alex and Joe were brilliant bartenders. Really crafted our drinks and held great conversation.

We had a big table upstairs. Delicious food. Service was fantastic and the bar is lively with a small dance floor. It’s a brilliant venue for a group and ticks all the boxes. It’s quite loud so not ideal if you fancy a quiet meal.

Great place for cocktails with lots of character and atmosphere. Good venue for chilled out vibes. On the night we visited there was table service for drinks. Not sure if this is the norm? Staff were attentive and friendly. Can't comment on food as we didn't order any.

Rude and obnoxious doorman. Was refused entry with no explenation other then " I cant let in you guys". Whats funny is that we were in the bar a couple of hours earlier and spent over £300 on cocktails, probably more. Discrinmated against for being male, stick your cocktails up your ass.

We stumbled across this little beauty down one of the side streets and we were so glad we did! The atmosphere was amazing, the staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. Jazz music playing throughout with dim light atmosphere which was just up our street. The toilets were amazing, the mirror had different faces playing which added to the coolness of this place. If your in Brighton, I would definitely recommend Bohemia, even just a drink if nothing else!!

We were a group of 5 family members. We opted to share a baked Camembert, followed by a beef roast dinner (Sunday). The whole experience was great: staff, quality of food, presentation, wine, ambience. We all enjoyed a fantastic meal and would definitely recommend.

Family-friendly and atmospheric restaurant and bar. Lots of ‘buzz’ but not too much so! Went for early Friday evening meal and it was ideal. Very good food and hugely helpful and friendly staff. Live music there on Thursdays would probably be worth checking out

Always a safe bet when looking for something more quiet in the busy Saturday Brighton. They have nice cocktails and the food is also good. The small plates are small but with the side option a decent meal. I had the pork belly. The atmosphere is always very nice and friendly.

Had a lovely meal. Had the small plates, four between two of us which was plenty. Good portions. Excellent service and a live band which we weren’t expecting so really made the night! Would definitely return.

It is very expensive but one of if not the best cocktails I've ever tasted

Food not good at all roast potatoes where deep fried and no crackling on the belly pork just rubbery also good not hot only just warm gravy was watery and no real flavour

We visited Bohemia last Saturday, this being my favourite place for cocktails and being the place to chill enjoying ths music ambience excellent service from all the team, not to mention the best Zombi Cocktails anywhere. The menu has just changed with excellent options, I chose the Ox cheek absolutely fantastic, the sauce was out of this world. This is the place to go when in Brighton A big thank you to all the team, it was great seeing you again, will be back soon, thank you Jade for the greeting hug and the way you looked after us.

Cracking night at Bohemia! Great music and not too squashed, great drinks and friendly staff! For the single girls reading this I met good few footballers…..😂…plenty of drinks and dancing until 3am…check it out!

We had an excellent lunchtime meal here in a trendy setting with fab jazzy music in the background. Great service too with a friendly waitress. Would definitely recommend a visit.

My friend took me here as a special treat. The experience was unforgettable, and the cocktails stunning. The waitress was patient and waited for us to decide, returning a few times and then leaving again with a smile. I don't normally drink cocktails at all, but my friend invited me and after her stepdaughter explained them in more detail over the phone, we could not resist. The Pornstar Martini was a bit of theatre and delicious and then we had the Brighton Up My Rock. Both were fabulous, and I will always remember Bohemia for that. It felt like they do cocktails properly, so worth the money. Thank you.

Best Porn Star cocktail. I live in London and go to Bohemia Brighton just for this Porn Star❤️. Great location. Friendly staff. Love the deco and music. Great place for parties or just hanging out. Definite must see in Brighton.

Pretty good food, but the best thing is the atmosphere and the live music on Thursdays. Two main courses and drinks for £40. The cane cider....very good!

Great spot for evening cocktails and music. The bar staff are really friendly and will introduce you to all the cocktails on offer. Some of them are quite spectacular ! The evening got even better with the in house DJ playing some classics for us oldies !! Atmosphere was really nice and overall highly recommended.

lame as hell, messed up my order and still charged full price. a scam obsessed with image and doesn’t care at all their customers. i feel ripped off. (and i’ve been banned from using profanity here fyi)

A worker accused my brother in law of doing cocaine when he is very against drugs, was very upset by this accusation.. we a pent lots of money in there with family for my sisters 18th and some staff were lovely but certain people weren’t. The man pictured waved a dirty wet wipe off of the floor in my brother in laws face accusing him of doing drugs it was awful treatment. We are disgusted.

We had some incredible cocktails here with dry ice and alcoholic froth. Will be back when we come again. Like some places we visited in Dubai.

Food worth a detour. Right in the heart of the old Brighton 'lanes' and great for couples. Thursdays have live music and may be loud and have a mor bar like vibe.

We had the fish & chips & mushy peas at lunchtime and it was superb. Our son who is very fussy said it was the best fish and chips he had ever tasted (he's 24 by the way). The portion size was perfect with two 4" cuts of lovely thick cod in a light batter (not the usual long fish overhanging the plate. Accompanied by a generous dish of tartar sauce, chunky chips and a dish of mushy peas. Washed down with a very nice bottle of Fitz Pink English Sparkling Wine. The panacotta desert was a sight to behold so cameras at the ready. It was very quiet but the decor is fabulous and quirky. Clearly it livens up in the evenings and we plan to go there again next time we are in Brighton. Our waitress was very cheerful and welcoming. An excellent meal for the start of my wife's birthday celebrations.

Slow service and awful food. key points to avoid a longer read: extremely slow service / dry, bland, likely reheated food / £4 for half a pint of draft coke! 1: 3 of us arrive for lunch on Monday approx 2.30pm, one other table apart from ourselves in the venue. We are seated and are bought menus shortly after. 2. We wait at least 15-20 minutes before someone comes out to take our order which is excessive since it was not busy. We place our order for a few small plates of food and 3 non fancy drinks (a coke, sparkling water and a latte). 3. We are then sitting there for a further 30 minutes before our drinks are bought out, followed immediately by the food. It seems an odd way to do things and we would have preferred the drinks to arrive earlier whilst we waited for our food. 4. Whilst eating our food and chatting it comes to light that we are all disappointed with what we have ordered. -Truffle and parmesan dressed chips (dry, hard, feel like left over reheated old chips with a tiny hint of truffle flavour and the smallest sprinkle of parmesan cheese on top that was on about 3 chips) - Nduja and cheese stuffed croquettes (dry again, possibly day old reheated, very hard to cut and absolutely no flavour, just dense, dry, claggy potato) - Calamari rings (the best thing of the bunch but still not amazing, the calamari itself was cooked well and felt it had been cooked fresh to order atleast! Which really feels like the bare minimum with simple food. 5. Our waitress comes outside during our meal to go for a cigarette break, we catch her attention on her way back in and she asks how everything is, we are honest and just say its really quite disappointing, describing the above issues. She tells us that we are not the first people to make a complaint in the recent past. She advises she will try and get some of the items removed from our bill, clears our table and disappears again. 6. Another 20 minutes go by and we flag the waitress back down to get our bill, she advises that she was able to remove 1 portion of chips and the Croquettes. We accept this and she goes away again. We are waiting for her to bring over the card machine but she never does, so we get up and go over to the waiter station to pay. We have decided to remove the service charge as the service was very very slow, she gives us a hard time that we did not tell her we did not intend to pay any service charge before she printed the bill, but we had no way of knowing that it would be included until we got the bill? She makes us feel awkward about it for a while but then says we can leave. 7. I can quite honestly say I will never go back here. The only good parts were the music and the decor! I am sure the cocktails are fine but I have not tried those. I know I could do better myself at making all the items we ordered today. It was like eating cheap freezer food. I order the seafood risotto which was mind blowingly good, plenty of seafood, yummy sauce and prefect portion for me, the service was excellent, i was served within 10 min which my delicious dish

Great drinks and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The food was really not great though. I ordered the seafood risotto and it was really watery and not remotely creamy. The rice was clumped together and how hot only parts of the meal were implied it had been heated up in a microwave. The seafood was really flavourless and mushy. Honestly it was inedible. Fabulous place for drinks and nice staff but would not recommend for eating.

Even though we live 3 hours train journey away and had already dined with you in May, we wanted our grandson to experience Bohemia. It did not disappoint. The service was fabulous - nothing was too much trouble even though our waiter had to keep walking up and down the stairs. We ate at 7pm on 31st July. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. We asked to sit in the Library so we could overlook the attractive bar. Overall, a really nice experience and our grandson is still talking about it!!

A great night out in Brighton doesn't really get fully going till around 10pm but has the added bonus of a separate cheese music room upstairs and also a roof terrace.

Top level cocktails, ate from the small plate menu, all excellent, was quite as late afternoon on Sunday when England were playing, service excellent and great decor.

Visited bohemia this evening with a family member. I want to give a massive shout out to the two young members of staff who seemed to be running the place by themselves, it being one of the members of staff first time on the bar! After ordering our cocktails the guy behind the bar admitted because he hasn't worked the bar before he was unsure of how to make our drinks and would need to ask the manager for some support... no issues there we all need help from time to time and would rather he be honest. It then took 20 minutes to locate the manager who when arriving at the bar took no interest in us and was busy shouting at the members of staff and rolling his eyes as well as waving his arms around every time they asked for support. The members of staff he had working were young students and graduates who do not deserve to be spoken to or treated in this way. It seems a real shake as I would love to come back here to support those lovely bar staff but am reluctant in giving my money to a company who's management treats them so unfairly

Amazing place that we only stumbled upon on our walk through the streets of Brighton. The staff were absolutely welcoming and provided us a table for two with no fuss! The presentation of our cocktails was over the moon and the starters we ordered were delicious too! Couldn’t have asked for anything more. The place is stunning.

Love this bar, good drinks if a little expensive and a dj to dance to. Sadly the upstairs lounges were closed as got there around 10.15 (which seemed early on. Saturday night).

Very tasty, very expensive drinks. I don't know if I would go back (vibe was like a club for 20 year olds) but it was worth the experience for sure, we loved our drinks - strawberry fields and something cinnamon christmasy. this is the place to go to have a good time in the Lanes

What a gem of place, and our waiter Dom was a delight., We had an exceptional dining experience ending with a 'smoking' tiramisu served dramatically with dry ice. It was brilliant. My partners Fish and Chips was very good and quite a large portion with skin on chips - perfect. I had a California stack - Layers of avocado, pineapple and grilled tiger king prawns and chilli oil dots - it was delicious. Dom was very attentive and fun and friendly and helped to make the occasion a great one.

We came for drinks only, ended up staying until the bar is closed haha! Definitely great cocktails, skillful bartenders, very nice and friendly service. Notch more pricey but totally worth it, the bar itself its a nice space and there are heaters outside. I definitely will be back!

Wowsers! Currently way up there for cocktails in Brighton! We opted for the Jekyll & Hyde, a delicious absinthe cocktail with dry ice 😍 the lovely Marni was utterly fantastic as a host, and I saw her making some killer espresso martinis too.. Gotta try that next time! Awesome imagery on the projectors and all round lush vibe. Highly recommend.. Hats off...

We booked the bar for a private party for our summer staff party. It was a huge success thanks to the amazing bar tenders, Joe and Sean. Josh was also super helpful with serving the food and checking dietary requirements with our staff. Thank you guys for making sure our night ran smoothly. A great room size and roof terrace - we will be keen to book this again next summer.

Brilliant 👌 From entering the restaurant until leaving. Fab decor and style. Good theme and music. Comfortable and friendly atmospheric areas. Smart, friendly and accommodating staff. Good, clean facilities. Fantastic food, cooked and presented perfectly. Excellent wine and beers. Reasably priced considering all that's offered. Would highly recommend.

We reserved in advance and picked a seat on the upper balcony area and had a prime view over the bar. Our drinks order was taken and delivered quite quickly given the time it must have taken to prepare my cocktail, a Brighton on the rocks. We didn't have to wait too long for our food either which looked really appetising; I had the fish and chips and my partner the burger. The menu is quite short but what they do have they do really well. We were lucky enough to have booked on a night when there was a free live band - The Iron Boot Scrapers were such good fun and encouraged the audience to dance and come close. The sound level of the band was good but the piped music they'd been playing earlier was a bit too loud for us. Overall we had a fun evening with good food and drinks and polite, attentive staff. We would highly recommend a Thursday night visit.

Spending a couple of days in Brighton for leisure time. We arrived at around midday and stumbled upon this hidden little gem. We were immediately greeted by our host and offered a window table. The decoration and atmosphere are great and quirky. Food wise we opted for Fish & Chips. The food is presented to a really high standard and the quality of the ingredients is amazing. Probably the best fish and chips I have had in recent years! The fish was chunky, moist and freshly battered. The chips were skin on chunky wedges which were also very tasty. The dish also came with mushy peas and tartare sauce. A lovely venue with a great atmosphere and food. Thoroughly recommend!

We were greeted immediately by friendly staff members and were made to feel very relaxed. This restaurant is beautiful in all areas and the lunch menu simple but varied, the server happy to let us know portion sizes and ingredients. Delicious food and drink, overall a great experience and we can’t wait to return.

The cocktail barman rise to my challenge and made me a pisco sour! Lovely quiet table upstairs and glad we finished before the band started up But good food, excellent service, and good value Will return if only for another pisco! Ps spent 6 years in Lima so I know about that drink!

Looks nice from outside but couldn’t comment on the quality of the drinks - me and my friends were turned away from entry on a weekend night for being under 25 (seriously, that’s what the bouncer told us- we weren’t drunk or underaged). Perhaps it was for the best though as the clientele all looked quite a bit older anyway and we ended up having a great night at the Mesmerist’s rooftop terrace instead.

Absolutely fantastic. Just back from a second night out here in 10 months. I decided to take my friends that are from out of town. The door staff are absolutely amazing. Not your usual meat heads, they actually care about patrons. Thanks gents we really appreciated you loooking after us. Fantastic music, and atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Bar staff also amazing. Thanks.
