Excellent service, delicious food and attention to my allergies. Thank you. We chose the set menu as there was so much choice and there was plenty to eat.

Delicious food, very good service & very nice atmosphere. Difficult to choose what to eat because everything looks and tastes amazing. We also loved the Vaudville gin, made in Southsea. We’ll definitely be back and as usual, agonise over what to choose 😊

My family have been coming to The Bodrum for years, mainly for birthdays and other special,occasions. I can honestly say that i have never had a bad meal. or even a sub standard one The food is of an excellent quality and there is always plenty of it. The hot coal area at the corner means you can see your food being cooked in front of you. I would rate The Bodrum as one of my favourite restaurants in Portsmouth. The only word of caution is to go easy on the bread and olives or you wont have enough room for the main course

Not only is the food amazing, the tunes though, 90s bangers one after another, non stop. Felt like home since we stepped in even though we were in a foreign country, no wonder why the restaurant was completely packed ( make sure you book ). The several trees set along the room makes the space heaps more welcoming and cosy, at times you’d think you are on some sort of Mediterranean riviera golden coast. Wee blond waitress coping excellently with a full house, while the manager’s sitting in the booking desk checking the gram (don’t we all?). Anyway, overall gorgeous restaurant for being within English jurisdiction. We’ll be back❗️❕❗️

Lovely food, lovely staff, lovely place. I can recommend the lamb with hot hummus starter, the mixed grill and efes beer;but all the food was excellent. One of our party had a set meal for 1 and was very pleased with both the food and the value (£20). I love the plastic trees which make it feel like a garden. Weve been here before and will be going again!

This was a brilliant early Friday night dinner! Open from 4 on a Friday this worked perfectly with two young kids and the food was sublime. Great options for the kids and the staff were great with them. Food was perfectly portioned and wow the freshness of the meat chargrilled was superb. Very reasonably priced and we’ll be back for sure.

Because we didn't know quite what to order, we elected to have a set dinner. It was excellent. We received a number of hot and cold starters, a wonderful salad and a large plate of various grilled meats and rice. Easily the best meal I have had in a long time. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly and attentive.

We've actually visited twice in the last couple of weeks and both times have been great, we were greeted with a warm welcome and temperature checks and hand sanitiser at the door which is absolutely fine by us.Food on both occasions has been very good - muska borek and halloumi starters were great both times and for the mains we've tried the mixed grill, lamb chops and lamb w/houmus. The meat has always been of a good quality - no fatty bits and always very tender. If i had one small thing that i'd change it is that the mains come out a bit too promptly after starters have been finished but the staff are really lovely so i'm sure if we mention it next time we visit, they will take it on board.Definitely somewhere we will visit again as I want to try the moussaka!

Been coming here since 2012, one evening post lockdown we booked a table for 6 of us here. Upon arrival we were instructed to use sanitizer and have our temperature checked, which was great to see. I ordered the ribs, which I have done since first coming here. But I have noticed over the years it hasn’t been as nice. The last time I came here was February 2019 and it was the same. Portions are getting smaller, some of asked for chips instead of rice. But we all were given rice. Service was good as always, but we were told when we arrived that it was cash only. Which is mind boggling, considering a majority if not all business are only accepting card. To me that is very fishy and I can think of a few reasons why they may be doing cash only. Don’t think I will be coming back for awhile, which is such a shame.

Visited twice in 2 days.On a 3 day visit to Portsmouth and decided to give bodrum a go.I'm not a fan of this type of food, (or so I thought) but I am now.First visit about 30min walk from the hotel well worth it, as you enter the little restaurant the smell hits you,absolutely amazing The food was fantastict he flavours superb. Had the most amazing experience here. We were on a short breakaway and came across this restaurant. The booking was really easy. When you got to the restaurant, we had our temperatures checked and used sanitised. The menu has so much variety it was hard to choose! I had the lamb shank for my main meal and WOW is all I have to say! The food was incredible, the service was amazing. We also tried the rice pudding which was to die for! We booked online and Quandoo is presented to use as a booking service.I had reminders from Quandoo regarding our booking and thought everything was ok, on arrival at the restaurant I was informed that we did not have a booking and that the restaurant no longer as an association with Quandoo. There is no warning on the restaurant website and Quandoo have obviously ignored all attempts for the link to be cancelled. I even had an email today asking how our meal was. We did not have a meal as there was no room and the waiter advised on our arrival they had turned away 3 other groups.I have eaten here before and it is very good and will return again but very disappointed with this issue and the lack of warning on website . The restaurant need resolve this.I will return tom 'old fashioned' telephone bookings in the future

I can honestly say this was the best meal I have had in a long time! We ordered the set menu for 2 and received 10% off as we were collecting our meal. Even after a 20 minute drive home the food was still lovely and hot. Everything was so, so tasty. The chicken was tender, the lamb flavoursome, the halloumi delightfully squeaky. The baklava was so good as was the rice pudding! The restaurant itself seemed lovely, nice lighting and very clean. We visit Turkey every year and this was truly delicious authentic cuisine. I went many times to this restaurant and everytime i enjoyed more than the previous time. I've been to many places to eat, in Portsmouth, Bournemouth, London and other cities but I've never found a better food anywhere else than Bodrum in Southsea. The personnel are lovely everytime i go there i feel like i am at home!

Visited on a quiet sunday evening in January.Made to feel extremely welcome, the Gentleman that served us recommended fantastic a fantastic meal which was hands down the best food I've had whilst staying in portsmouth. Delish! Busy night with a 22 person booked table nearby, however young lady was polite serving. Finally chose the courgette patties which were excellent followed by Baba Ganoush also excellent, lamb so tender. Complimentary olives and bread was a nice touch. Impressed with the bottle of Merlot too. Partner had mousakka which was also impressive. A few chips would have been enough so will order rice next time ( I had read portions were ample and they were). Here for a few weeks so deffo going back, we loved it.

Had lunch here with some mates a few days ago and it was a great experience. Had a houmous starter, Lamb Shish with chips and a couple of drinks and was surprised by the large portions. We could have definitely shared a few of the dishes instead or ordering separately. The food itself was very nice and tasted authentic and the overall vibe of the place was authentic, with Turkish music playing. Staff were also very pleasant. The final bill was generous at around £20 for myself. Bodrum is definitely a top tier Turkish restaurant in Portsmouth - highly recommended!

On Saturday 30th November I went with my wife, daughter and son-in-law to the Kings Theatre Southsea where we dropped our granddaughter who was appearing in a Play at about 5.30pm. We were going to see the show which was due to commence around 7pm. We walked along Albert Road looking for a suitable one when Bodrum caught our eye. We were greeted warmly and explained that we hoped to finish a meal before 7pm. It is a Greek/Turkish Restaurant and it has an excellent range of dishes. The staff were so friendly and we all agreed that the food and service were first class. We were all delighted with the meals we had and will be hoping to return there.

11 of us went for a meal and to a person everyone left at the end of the meal with huge smiles on their faces. Went here with a group of friends, we were 9 in total. Service was good and we placed an order for starters, then warm bread with olive oil and butter and olives were put on the table. We then ordered mains and chips were added to the table. The food was hot, delicious and plentiful. We all enjoyed our meals, main courses were around £12.50 and starters around £4-5 so very reasonable. The staff were attentive and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyable evening.
