Darren certainly went the extra mile for me: their gluten free bread had not delivered and even though the place was really busy, he sent someone to the supermarket to buy some, which meant I could have breakfast. The shakshuka was excellent too.

Great coffee, nice staff, nice ambience. Unfortunately, like many eateries these days, you can't get away from the dogs people bring in. We have been here loads of times as we are locals, and it's the best coffee locally we think, but on a couple of occasions, we have been surrounded by dogs, making it feel like a kennel! We wouldn't eat here for this reason.

It as the Friday Stone Food Market, and my grandson and I were looking for something suitable for him to have. We went into BOD, and even though they were very busy, with their live singer etc, they still made time to be nice to my young grandson, and make him a milk shake. They could have said they weren't doing them, but they didn't. Thank you, you made his night, as there was absolutely nothing for a small child to drink in the town at that time. BOD is one of our favourite haunts during the farmers market days too. It's a great place, great service, and a lovely menu. Plenty of seating as well.

10/10 recommend, the chefs (molly and lee) serve excellent food and we didn’t wait long. The manager (darren) was so lovely and we would definitely come back here again!

A very busy market day did not phase these hard working staff. Our first time in this restaurant and we will return. Very clean and tables cleared away as soon as they are vacated.

Lovely venue, relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. Nice selection of panini’s and wraps, coffees and cask ales. I would highly recommend the Titanic Plum Porter!

Poor service, food very mediocre. Zero atmosphere. Very disappointed unfortunately. We have visited before on a few occasions - 18 months ago when each time was a completely different vibe (amazing)!

Visited twice in two days. The shakshuka for breakfast was superb. Lovely range of seating and atmospheres. Drinks all good along with loyalty card points. Staff attentive, personable.

Went with my mum and sisters. Really lovely cafe with a great decor and vibe. Staff super friendly and efficient. Really good service. We had coffee and cake and it was delicious. I can definitely recommend the carrot cake! Lots of tables outside too so we could soak up some rays and watch the world go by. Would definitely go back again if in the area, 100%! Oh and the toilets were great too!

We visited for a quick coffee and a bite to eat. The Eggs benedict arrived really timely and was great, unfortunately the hot drinks we ordered followed 20 minutes later - unsure if we had been forgotten. My toddler knocked over a hot drink, this was not acknowledged by the staff but when I mentioned it, i was presented with some blue roll. We were awkwardly mopping the floor and the table whilst customers in the queue kept stepping around us and observing us struggling, the lady on the till kept serving. The drink situation was completely our fault, however the offer of a table swap or any form of help would have been appreciated. Our mound of blue roll was cleared when we had finished our drinks, we left feeling a bit of a hinderance. Negative staffing vibes in quite a cool place which is a shame because the beer selection looked great.

The atmosphere was comparable to spoons. Staff were nice though I have to say! Devor was attractive was outside. Though the full English wasn't too impressive

Much like the previous review, my issue is with the £4.50 spent on the kids pancakes. LITERALLY 2 scotch pancakes, not homemade, and a small pot of syrup. A pack of 5 of these pancakes costs 80p. I have tried to complain via the website with no acknowledgment. Will never return.

So beware, 2 scotch pancakes ( probably from a cheap supermarket multipack) heated with a small pot of maple syrup will set you back £4.50 I really doubt anyone can justify this

PLEASE change the sausages I suspect they are fried but there is absolutely no taste what so ever in them. Breakfast comes smaller also compared to other Stone eateries. Get some Heinz Tom sauce as well . No one is impressed with the arty sauce jars

The restaurant/bar was extremely busy, so getting our table cleared took a little while. I also think that they were under staffed (as is everyone) Once the food came it was fine, we had sandwiches and a hot drink.

As this new site in Stone is not on Tripadvisor yet, I have placed it on the Trentham Bod. Breakfast this morning was disappointing. There appears to be a total lack of training. On ordering our breakfast, I informed the order taker (Owen) of where we were sat (Outside) He placed my order in the system and when the amount to pay came up, I informed him it was incorrect as he had missed a breakfast off. On paying for it, I asked him to ensure we got both meals together as he had put two separate checks on. He said he would. We waited and eventually my wife's breakfast arrived with no cutlery and no sauces. These did arrive soon after. I asked her to commence so that it wouldn't get cold. On trying it she told me it was already cold. She then returned it to the counter. My breakfast then arrived, followed by hers and with cutlery and sauces. Both were hot. The food was ok however the scrambled eggs left a lot to be desired as they were totally overcooked (in a microwave I would suggest) Recommend the cooks are sent the Betty's in Harrogate to sample correct textured scrambled eggs. Not one person asked us if everything was ok......following the above issues, you would have thought the manager / supervisor would have asked at least. That brings me nicely to her. She appeared to be rushing around achieving nothing. Rude, by walking straight towards me and expecting me (the one paying her wages ) to move out of her way. Table numbers would assist staff; staff were bringing meals out, walking to all the outside tables and asking those sat there if they had ordered this and that.....then going back inside with said meals (no longer hot and well travelled) Prices; £2.80 for a small cafetiere of tea is expensive as is £3.10 for a tea cup of Mocha. With all the competition now in Stone, BOD should be doing more to be the best of the rest!

Called in today for a lunch , usually I have a morning Cappuchino and delicious teacake but today went for a Cappuchino and Cheese and onion toasty which was delicious! Came with an ample pot of Coleslaw and salad Lovely Crusty bread, I also had a "small" glass of the House Ros which was one of the nicest I have tasted and fully complemented the meal.

The website states you are dog friendly!!!! I think not..a miniature dachshund puppy was asleep on my husbands knees and after a drink was purchased he was told to put the dog on the floor!!!! All I can say is it was a good job I wasn't there..the puppy was not on the furniture and nowhere near the table..the floor was much worse because she was jumping up.on the chair to feel safe!!!! Never ever will we return, most definitely not dog friendly.
