Blueprint Cafe in Southwark

They don’t reopen restaurant but took reservations. I made a reservation and have got a confirmation email. I arranged for my friend’s birthday there. Restaurant was closed when we got there. I was so embarrassed.... that was a terrible experience.Luckily Hutong (in the Shard) gave us a table by the window and we had a wonderful lunch. Staff were great there. Thank you Hutong!

There are several bars and restaurants here on this strip which i had never been too. The menu offers something for everyone and I took Burrata as starter and steak as main, food was excellent but service slow and uninspired.

Loved this dinner. Beautiful views and great welcome and service. The cauliflower and salmon soup was like a liquid silk version of fish pie - unique and fun. The bone marrow and croquettes were sublime and the pie special was divine. Fantastic chef. Every mouthful was a joy! Sadly I left no room for dessert, but I love the twist on British style dishes in this modern and enjoyable restaurant.The table next to us were having a great night as Monday you can BYO. We didn't have the set menu but it looked very nice and very reasonable so will be back for that for sure.

We bezochten Blue Print Café met enkele vrienden. We hadden een tafel aan het venster geserveerd om te genieten van het schitterend uitzicht op de Theems en Tower Bridge . Er was eerst geen geschikte tafel beschikbaar , maar na aandringen werd dit vlug opgelost. Naast de kaart heeft men eveneens een keuzemenu beschikbaar ( 2 gangen aan 20 GBP en 3 aan 25 GBP) . Men kan hierbij kiezen uit enkele voor- , hoofdgerechten en desserts. We kozen allen voor deze optie. De gerechten waren lekker en de bediening was vriendelijk en vlot. Een aanrader als men op een schitterende lokatie wil genieten van een lekkere, betaalbare maaltijd.

I have wanted to visit here for a long time now and so on a sunny Wednesday off my boyfriend and I visited here for an impromptu lunch. We booked in the morning and found a great deal on bookatable.com - 3 courses and a cocktail for £22.50. I asked for a seat by the window and we were given a few to choose from.The menu choice was great, sometimes set menus can be quite limited and dull but this was inventive, seasonal and had great fish and veggie options as well. I had the nettle voloute to start and my boyfriend had the cured salmon, both were delicious. Mains were even better, sea bass and bavette steak. Desserts were wonderful - I had chocolate ganache with salted caramel banana and my boyfriend had vanilla marshmallow with rhubarb. They were sweet, fun and indulgent - just like desserts should be! We also had a glass of wine each from the extensive and well priced wine list - I can thoroughly recommend the picpoul de pinet. Service was excellent, the food was beautifully presented and the view was stunning. Such good value for money, I can't wait to return here!

I enjoyed my meal here although it didn't excel as much as I'd been hoping for. The staff were lovely, they had a table free when we walked in off the street and the view over the Thames and Tower Bridge is fantastic!

Fabulous views (we were sat right by the window!) of Tower Bridge. But the food is very underwhelming, especially for the prices.

Had my birthday meal here - the food was simple and the service great!

Prime view to the Thames and good food. Safe bet, you can´t get it wrong.

Good food. Great location and a great view of Tower Bridge if you can get a window seat.
