"Sue" was working on her own- The kiosk was very busy with walkers & cyclists . She produced food and beverages very efficiently and at speed, remining calm, cheerful and helpful throughout the mid-day rush.

I went out for a walk on a very windy winters day, not really knowing the area… and the kiosk appeared like a mirage! A hot cup of tea, sweet treat and very friendly welcome made for the perfect stop! Was tempted by the soups and sausage rolls too- it all looked amazing!

We had a lovely time! Such lovely staff, delicious food and drinks. Two of us were vegan and we forgot to check if there would be anything we could have (other than black coffee!) and walked away with a vegan sausage cob, vegan roll, a mocha and a hot chocolate! A very happy surprise.

We were walking the Tissington Trail yesterday and it was in the storm and we were about to turn round and go back when we saw a building in the distance. At the least it might be toilets. Then we began to hope it might be somewhere that could sell us a hot drink: in the storm and the cold and the rain and the wind we headed towards it hardly daring to Hope. And as we got there, we saw the lights on. And then hallelujah we could see it was a kiosk. Run by a lovely woman called Sue. Sue is a delight She made us a great espresso with freshly ground coffee She made me a wonderful cup of tea And we also bought a vegan brownie And we got some friendly companionable chat The brownie was delicious , the drinks were just what we needed and I just wanna say how lovely the whole experience was. The journey back to the car was Hiking right into the wind, but we were warmed up now and it didn’t feel so bad

Good selection of warm and cold food. Sausage rolls and warm cobs/baps were lovely. Next to cycle shop for repairs and rent. Both right by Tissington trail and not far from high peak trail.

Had brunch with friends who have just moved to the area, 2 orders of eggs Benedict and one full breakfast all outstanding and beautifully presented. The best eggs I think I have ever tasted! The ladies who looked after us today were very professional but mostly very friendly and patient taking time to show us around and answer all our questions, the lady serving us was very attentive and had a great sense of humour 🤣We will definitely be back.

Tucked away in a beautiful area, lovely food and great service. I can imagine it particularly appealing and cosy in a Winter evening with the log fire on. I'll be coming back. 🙂
