Blue Dragon Takeaway in East Devon

The aromatic duck was tough, the duck in black bean was fatty and the chicken balls were more batter than chicken. We won’t be ordering again from this Chinese.

Not up to usual standard. The sauce in the sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style was not as nice and very garlicky- possible recipe change? Normally no issues and this is my "go to" Chinese takeaway. Hoping it improves for next time.

Spring roll dripping with grease. No flavour. Chinese curry- chicken wasn’t mixed with sauce. Sauce gloopy.

Superb yet again! We continually re-order from these guys, especially when we have a large group of guests as everything is always tasty and very generous portions too.

Very very nice food. All hot and full of flavour. New blue dragon never let's us down. The delivery driver was friendly and nothing short of a legend. I messed up not having any tip money and didn't know I couldn't tip on the app. Next time!!

The amount of salt in the chow mein made the dish inedible. Ridiculous. Sort it out please. What a waste of money!

Tasteless poor quality. Squid was very strange consistency, perhaps reheated too many times. Boxes had all leaked in bag making it a mess.

Still good. 👍 Been using for a whilst and always provides good hot quality food and always ready when they say. Highly recommended including the large pancake rolls, beef with blackbean and the prawn crackers are nice and fresh and hot. I always order by phone direct and collect in person so can’t comment on delivery

only problem we have is that delivery driver does not wait for you to open door. It was left on the doorstep

the food arrived early with a good portion size, sadly the chicken dish wasn't great. the chicken tough and chewy, padded out with carrot, hard carrot at that. unlikely to use again

Delivery time was as soon as possible . Told it would be about an hour to hour and half - that was fine - turned up 30 minutes later . Food was acceptable but not really anything to rave about .

Disappointing chow mein with overcooked noodles and barely any beansprouts or onions in it. Large spring roll was the size of burrito. Whilst some might like this, it was really difficult to eat and I'm not convinced the contents were cooked through. It's a shame as the prices are reasonable and it's local to me so I was hoping to become a regular customer. Disappointed given all the good reviews. Staff were friendly and the ordering and collection process nice and simple but food really needs to better, especially for basic dishes like a chow mein.

Excellent food - lovely and warm

Food was late. Chicken Balls were horrible, chicken was very pink in the middle and quite slimy. Thought we’d give this Chinese a go instead of our usual. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Great as always, but the first time ever it was very late, but having said that it was worth the extra time

I’m so disappointed, everything was unbelievably salty, almost inedible. The pork and beansprout dish was appalling. The beansprouts were so over done it was like a mushy soup. What a shame. It’s been a while since I’ve ordered from blue dragon and now I know why.

Food arrived nice and hot unfortunately the sweet-and-sour chicken balls wasn’t for my liking it was a bit chewy need to be cooked more crispier that was my down full everything else was fine to eat

Ordered to Devon cliffs caravan park, called a min or so after placing order to arrange pick up from outside of resort as delivery not allowed in. Quick delivery time, food spot on and complimentary prawn crackers and a bottle of tango. Would recommend.

The best Chinese in Exmouth. Best ribs I have ever had, 1/4 duck had so much meat it felt like a 1/2. Great lemon chicken and crispy shredded beef.

I ordered at 6.05pm it showed up 2 hours later, hardly fast food!

Great take away at a fair price. Ordered and was ready for collection in 15 mins, food was good and hot. Large pancake rolls were fantastic. They put in some prawn crackers for free. Would recommend and was staying at haven sandy bay and this was only 5 minutes away and 100 times better than the food on site.

We ordered beef in black bean sauce (from the meal for one.) There was mostly ONION and 3 small bits of beef. They seemed to bulk out this budget meal with anything BUT BEEF. Usually order from this takeaway, for YEARS but will be ordering elsewhere if this cannot be resolved. Blue Dragon please don't let your name down again, especially with your regular customers. Sorry experience
