Had the best treatment here from Tyrell. I attended an event at the House of Lords prior to arriving and we had used this space to continue our event. Tyrell and his colleagues went above and beyond and in particular heard me pass my welcome drink onto a friends husband whose birthday it was. Tyrell re-appeared later with birthday chocolates. I later saw him moving furniture for another women so that she could eat at a table. I would return when I am next in the area. Thank you!

Went for lunch - service was poor, food was tasteless, stale and slightly cold. The menu was uninspiring and has got worse in recent years. There are many bad restaurants in and around Westminster - this one can now unfortunately be added to the list.

Fantastic Sunday roast, one of the best we’ve had in London. Really good service from welcome through to sitting- very accommodating and good with the kids. 10/10

Absolutely excellent Sunday roast. Amazing value for the price, got the pork roast and it came with so much food which was all delicious. Also you must try the margarita, one of the best I’ve ever had! Will come back the next time I’m in London

I had an amazing experience at Blue Boar Pub! The food was absolutely delicious, and the beers were just as great. The service was top-notch, especially from Sebastian, who took excellent care of us—he was phenomenal! And I have to mention, the bathroom was by far the best I've seen! First time visit this week and going back. Underrated classy restaurant. Value for money is up there with the best I have visited in london. Great for families, business meetings or a couple wanting something relaxed and enjoyable. Menu is well priced, wine by the glass or bottle is also well priced. Staff are the cherry on the top.

Perfect experience, being the director of a hotel myself I must say that this very beautiful establishment is an example to follow, all the dishes were deliciously well prepared, the cleanliness impeccable and a tailor-made service, all for a price not excessive and well deserved. A special mention to Wafa who, thanks to her professionalism and kindness, helped to enhance our wonderful experience, we will come back without hesitation. Alberto and Laetitia.

This was the first pub we ate at once we arrived in London. The atmosphere was calm, inviting, and quiet which allowed for great conversation and a great experience. The best part was our bartender Sebastian. He demonstrated excellent service during our meal and was friendly! It was evident he cares immensely about his guests and job. I highly recommend you stop in for great food/drinks and even better company!

Amazing decor and atmosphere. Great service and the beer is fantastic. I ordered spicy squid and I can easily say that this was the best squid I have ever tried!!

Very nice place, however the manager Sébastien has no place here I think, he poisoned the atmosphere of the servers and walks and behaves like an unacceptable cowboy how can this person represent such a beautiful place! If you don't believe me, look at it for yourself and you'll spot it right away, as an MMA fighter would say before his fight, a shame for the others who suffer from it.

The best restaurant service we had during our stay in London. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, the waiter was great and attentive, and the food and drinks were good. We were also able to walk in and get a table at 9pm on a Saturday evening.

The fantastic atmosphere (instagrammable), everything very clean and very cozy. The service was very good, we were served by a beautiful waitress from Nepal, her name is JA, super nice. However, we ordered a Mocaccino and a Macchiato but the taste was not very good.

Lovely and spacious, despite being very busy the service was excellent. Tend to go out to pubs a lot and this one will be on the list when in the St James, Victoria vicinity.

Meeting a dear friend for festive 🎄 cheer at the Blue Boar this evening was such a great idea!! Great atmosphere, close to the Tube (St James), with very tasty meals was the perfect start to the season! We especially enjoyed the wonderful interaction of a waitress called Priscilla who’s humour and good nature made the evening that much better. Thank you to all for such a great night!

Food was excellent. Had Turkey dinner special and everything was fresh and tasty, one of the best turkey dinners we ever ate.

After a confusion with a special booking, Matthew one of the managers, pulled out all the stops to make our Sunday lunch booking, for Rita's birthday, something very special. Highly recommend, delicious food, lovely service (especially one lady whose name I didn't get) and fabulous wine.

Nice looking place, hasn't booked so didn't have food but had a drink at the bar. Only off-putting thing was the attitude of the owner / maitre d' who chose to reprimand one of the staff unnecessarily and in a toxic way. The member of staff was serving at the bar and had only remarked that it had been a long day, showing humanity and understanding. Why the maitre d' decided to be offensive I don't understand - the member of staff subsequently apologised to us, but that was unnecessary. The result was that we chose to move elsewhere and probably would never go back, on account of the maitre d'. I think they were trying to be professional, instead they were just toxic and undermined any business they might have attracted.

Unbelievably slow service. Took almost 2 hours to get lunch and 30+ minutes to get a drink only after asking multiple staff members. Food was okay. Nice atmosphere but I would look elsewhere.

It's a hotel pub in a high-value tourist area, so you expect prices to be high. But £27 for fish and (not very good) chips in a pub is a joke.

Incredible location and a wonderful way to experience what London has to offer in terms of food, hospitality, and architectural charm. I just wish the food were a bit more salted. Everything required a bit of additional salt to bring out its maximum flavor. But I suppose everything in England is a bit on the under salted side.

Absolutely incredible experience at Blue Boar. We had the Sunday roast and it was perfect. The service was brilliant and we can’t thank the team enough for taking such great care of us. Wafa waited our table and we were blown away with the genuine care and impeccable service from her. We can’t recommend Blue Boar and the team enough!

A thoroughly great night with 13 work colleagues. Monzur was an exceptional waiter; absolutely first class. A rare talent of making us all feel really welcome while still getting the job done quickly, professionally and with great warmth. I returned the next night with a smaller group because Monzur had made it such a pleasant experience. He was exceptional again. Fantastic! Thank you Monzur.

The food was great, large servings! Our waitress, Annie was fabulous, very kind, friendly and quick to please. A wonderful lunch for we 2 Americans! The Espresso Martini was especially excellent.

The food is not great and the servers don’t see you. Other than that — nice place to have a drink!
