Fuimos hasta allí para desayunar porque las opiniones eran buenas y cuando llegamos allí nos encontramos el local cerrado y por el aspecto desde el exterior daba impresión que lleva tiempo así. Desayunamos en frente del local, en una cafetería social,muy bien.

Favorite coffee spot in the city

I expected the espresso to be small, but no THAT small. Also I got to learn that toast and no spreads is a thing.

Traditional location, with traditional dishes, therefore, it depends on your tastes and what you are looking for; Italian guys work there, like in many London businesses.

Haven't tried the food mains yet, but it's a lovely cosy little cafe, not too noisy and the coffee's cheaper than Half Cup a few streets away. Lockdown ??.0 and I miss it already.

I really love this tiny coffee shop. It serves nice double Espresso. And its ambiance was excellent despite being compact adorned with little gardens on the exterior.

One of my favourite cafes in Bloomsbury! This little hidden gem is a great breakfast spot or a place to grab a coffee and pastry! Highly recommend when they reopen!

We were supposed to go to another coffee shop but had a massive queue, we found this one instead and we so glad we did. It's cute and cosy, with great food and drinks, we also stumbled upon the secret diary with interesting insights to people's lives (worth the read).

This is a very cosy place to sit, down on the basement level but still nice and light thanks to decent windows. The food on the counter all looked lovely though we didn't order any. My friends got eggs Benedict and French toast and assured me both were great. The coffee was delicious. I really want to come back to get some of the cakes. Hopefully soon.

The is more a cafe than a "coffee house" as the coffee range is not wide and the baristas are not very coffee knowledgable. Nonetheless, it is in an excellent place to visit, with a quirky location, and a brilliant decor and ambiance. The staff is very friendly and the prices are fair. I can easily recommend this place for a quick cup of coffee and some food.

I went here for the first time as a foreigner and I can say it is a cute and tasty little cafe. I ordered a brownie and chai tea latte the first time I came. The service was quick, the brownie made from scratch, and the chai tea latte tasted great. The second time I came I ordered brioche french toast with the chai tea latte again. The french toast tasted superb with huge tasty blueberries and a mixed berry dip. Everything seems to be homemade which is why it tastes so great.

This is a wonderfully cosy coffee house in the centre of Bloomsbury. The coffee is excellent as is the food (especially the avocado and halloumi) and there is also good wifi. The staff are warm, friendly and welcoming.

No solo se olvidaron de mi pedido de desayuno, después de decirles que había estado esperando 30 minutos y que había visto a personas entrar, que les sirvieran y que se fueran, ni siquiera se disculparon, sino que me culparon por no decirles antes. No me ofrecieron ninguna compensación ni más disculpas cuando pregunté, y se negaron a dejarme hablar con el gerente o cualquier otra persona que tuviera más autoridad. Finalmente, cuando llegó mi comida (la tostada francesa) - estaba fría y seca con apenas jarabe de arce o yogurt, y solo 3 arándanos para constituir la "compota de frutas". Fueron groseros y despectivos, y mucho menos el ambiente se volvió muy ruidoso y blando y las sillas muy incómodas. Nunca volvería y le diré a la gente que no vaya allí. Demasiado caro.

On y mange très bien et les conso sont de qualités aussi. L'ambiance est clairement intimiste et on s'y sent chez soi. Vraiment une belle découverte : idéal pour un petit déjeuner londonien avant de faire un tour en ville.

Really good food! Slightly pricy but worth it.

Coffee was fabulous and would rate a 5. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was a disappointment and overpriced. Had Eggs Benedict and eggs were hard boiled, plain bland English muffins. :( Recommend for coffee and cakes. Find other artisan bakeries in area for breakfast.

Taza pequeña llena hasta la mitad con agua tibia y TODAVÍA PEOR, un TEABAG colgando la taza. Esta es una forma atroz de servir té. Es de esperar que alguien en Londres, una cafetería decente en alguna parte, se cuide un poco más y se moleste con sus bebedores de té. No somos suciedad. No somos escoria de la tierra. Great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Very friendly staff and a cozy location. Located in the basement of a building but plenty of windows to make the space bright and inviting. Food was homemade and delicious.

I used to come here a lot and thought I‘d give it another go, but was shocked to see their prices have gone up immensely!! A small bowl of salad £7.50?! Was just tasteless as well! :-( Bowl of soup £7.50?! Small portions of quiche £5...Don’t mind paying this if I get a decent portion and can be sure I won’t leave hungry, but this is not the case in this place unless you dig deep into your pocket. Won’t be going back.

Posto piccolino e ben curato nei dintorni del quartiere Bloomsbury. Fortunatamente poco turistico, offre colazioni con una buona varietà di dolci e piatti tipici della english breakfast. Sicuramente consigliato, sia per la cortesia del personale, sia per la cura nei particolari che lo distinguono dalle classiche catene.

Had brunch in this great basement cafe. Lovely decor and friendly staff. Had muffin with vegetarian sausage, egg and cheese. Really good and coffee excellent. Good value. Note laptop free time between 1200 and 1400 hrs.

Amazing food and very cute environment for a lovely brunch or even just a coffee and a cake. We had 2 smashed avocado toasts - they were delicious - and a Greek yoghurt - nice but lacked compote. It wasn’t too loud as these places can sometimes be and you didn’t feel packed in at all. The food and coffee was so good that we completely forgot to take a photo. The staff we’re very friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend😊

Two coffees at almost £6. Both undrinkable. Bitter. The management must be buying the cheapest quality coffee as it is too acrid to swallow. My friend could hardly stomach his. I left mine. I won't be returning.

For lunch they only have quiche, spanish omelette, and salad. The omelette was bland and very eggy, and the salad was unwashed and gritty.

Staff seemed uninterested and didn't clear our plates even though we'd obviously finished eating. My daughter's granola (6.50!) was unwieldy lumps with eneven slices of banana floating in milk and came ages before my own order. My poached egg came cold and inedible. An amazing gem! Love going here for a quick coffee or bite to eat. The staff is always friendly, the food is always good. There is a feeling of tranquillity when you step down the stairs to the cafe, moving almost away from the busy Bloomsbury area.

Breakfast Unique Fabulous healthy choices

We have been coming to this brunch place for over a year and have always really liked the place. Cosy, great coffee, good cakes and food. However, recently they have changed the menu and now the food has become tasteless and of poor quality. It seems they changed their plentiful brunch of full English and other great dishes to meals with faster, pre-prepared ingredients and now the food is nowhere near as good as it used to be. For coffee and cakes the place is still amazing, the service is quick and friendly but the food has taken a nose dive. Hopefully they will fix this.
