Always stunning pastries just a shame they sell out of a lot and don't refill but that's the consequence of being such a successful place. Anytime I'm passing I'll pop in.

Fab delicious food, queue moved reasonably quickly. A good variety of savoury and sweet. Good organisation of the queue especially when it came to the time for the beignets to be available, someone has obviously thought it through and those who didn't want beignets went ahead so that those in the queue would get there when they were available. Staff were friendly and very polite.

Bakery of level. The smell invites you to come in and buy everything on display. There is a choice of both sweet and savory. We ate a pan suisse filled with cream and chocolate, with cocoa and cramble to decorate, and a cinnamon roll simply delicious, to drink a cappuccino and an Americano. We took takeaway because there are no tables to sit at on site but only benches on the street. Recommended!

Don't get me wrong, the food is fine. But that's it, just fine. I wouldn't stand more than 15 minutes in line for this. We had more than a few items, but it was so forgettable that I literally forgot what we had except for this chicken sandwich and slice of orange (?) loaf. I know we had some pastries...but I truly cannot remember what. Overhyped means overinflated prices, as I remember thinking that mediocre sandwich was not worth the £11. Service was friendly enough but you can tell they're over it, haha!

Great options on offer. I got a cinnamon sticky bun after pondering for as long as I could on my order. I thought the bun was fantastic. Not overly sweet or syrupy. The dough was perfect in my opinion. One other member of our group found hers to be a bit underbaked, but I think this was more of a preference as I did find my center to be a bit less baked than the outer rings, but found it to be incredibly tasty and the way that I actually like them. They had a nice variety of both sweet and savory items and I do wish I was in the area longer as I would have enjoyed returning to try a few other options on offer. It took a huge effort on my part to avoid ordering more, but I managed to behave! The coffee was also quite good and the staff were very pleasant and efficient. Small queue upon arrival that was sorted at an admirable pace.

We got the Black Forest beignet and the lemon meringue danish. The beignet cream was so light and airy. We were pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t overly sweet. The dark chocolate on top was rich and decadent. The only downside was that the cherry layer was sooo astronomically thin. It felt rationed LOL it didn’t really add much to what should be a Black Forest combination. The lemon meringue danish was so tart and wonderful, the meringue itself was perfect. The lemon curd was wonderfully sweet and tart, but was very runny. It made an absolute mess when taking a first bite into the middle, it was an unexpected consistency. Overall, would come back again to try more!

The coffee was also top-notch, which is not always a given at bakeries. Tiktok hotspot, full of influencers and hipsters alike, massively over saturated for what they produce. Had their pork baguette, which although tasty was not worth the hefty price tag they ask for what it was, the picture doesn't do it justice but it's about the same length as a subway 6 inch, in a very small baguette, although packed nicely with toppings was nowhere near worth the £11 price tag they ask. This place is over saturated by social media folks, who claim this to be "THE PLACE" to go for baked goods, which honestly I feel is mostly overhyped, the staff are pretty rude, just pay and go, no plesantries or information about what they have, once you've queued for 45 minutes just to get in the door which again is not very accessible you're literally presented with a card machine and a member of staff expecting you to pick quickly. You can't really get in the door until you have queued up either as they have no real access, not suitable for disabled people either which is shocking as they have a service ramp next to the main entrance for their baked goods trolleys, so why they can ramp access is beyond me. The food quality if average for the cost, I would of felt ripped off paying £8 for the baguette yet alone £12 but after queuing as long as I did I had to get something, I had hoped to get one of their beignets which again are all over tiktok but having seen peoples reactions outside who were lucky enough to get them in the half hour window they had stock, they all seemed rather dissapointed which says it all really. It's the place to go if you want to look cool and say you've had one of their beignets, otherwise their are far better bakeries around, at a much more single pricetag and actual customer service not just crows waiting for you to leave, they also don't take cash. Dissapointing all round.

It is my first time coming here. There was a short queue outside but it moved very quickly as there were too tills. I ordered a cheese and Parmesan twist, fermented brownie and sourdough chocolate chip banana bread. I am obsessed with the cheese twist and will be going back for more. The pastry was flakey and butter and the cheese was flavoursome but not overpowering, it had a nice soft channel of cheese in the middle, which helped the pastry not go soft. The brownie was to me a more cake like texture, sort of crumbly. It had a very mild flavour and wasn’t too sweet and melted in your mouth. The baby bread had quite a subtle flavour as well. I personally would have preferred a stronger flavour. I’m going to hear it up and add some melted butter and I think that would be perfect. Overall I enjoyed my experience here. I understand they do different pastries each day so I will be coming back to see what other goodies I can try. I think it’s important to note that most things are the bakeries take on an ordinary item so it might not be exactly how you are used to. I personally really enjoyed that none of the items I had were overly sweet. I will also point out that there is minimal seating with a few benches outside. However there are two parks and a community garden within less than a 5 minute walk.

I had been hearing a lot about this place so I took my best friend on a food tour experience! The moment we stepped in we encountered a long queue, which honestly made the experience even more exciting :) Service was fast too! We got four pastries and exchanged thoughts on it while eating it outside the place, they have a bench area that at least now that is spring, is exactly what we needed! Winner: Danish Pizza. THE CRUST. You can tell it has been mastered. I am not the best with names but we got the pistachio bun as well— the fact that the bun has sugar too makes it sweeter than the necessary to our liking, the inside foam was absolutely delicious, loved how neutral it feels, but the strawberry twist interrupts how cohesive it feels, wished it would have been replaced by the pistachio on top! the second sweet pastry is great too! i recommend splitting in two and eating it from the inside out so you can have a better experience, if you start eating it from the outside there is a chunk of plain bread you have to initially go through and makes the experience confusing and normal. The salt on the bread was on point, it makes it much more exciting. The chicken sandwich was a bit normal and pointing towards disappointment given that at moments feels a bit dry, and it feel very straightforward, would love if there was an additional sauce you could pair it with!

Truly excellent bakery, both sweet and savory. A place worth visiting in London. Don't be discouraged if you see a bit of a queue, they serve very quickly. It would be nice if there were more benches to sit on, but if you happen to be in rush hour there is a nice park a two minute walk away.

I bought the ham and cheese pastry (super yum with some kind of tomato sauce), hot cross bun (yummy also, packed with currants and orange peel), koign amann (yummy but more like just a nice bun than a flaky koign amann) and pistachio/rose beignet (yummy but a lot of cream). I also got the orange blossom and honey latte (nice) and apple matcha (too sweet, just get normal matcha) Overall would come back, really good bakery!

Had the cinnamon bun and sausage roll. Cinnamon bun was fine, a little dry but not too sweet. The pastry of the sausage roll was nice and crispy. The inside was a still pink which looked undercooked to me, so I asked for a new one. Staff assured me it was cooked - I googled it later and seems this is true (apparently something to do with preservatives). At the time, I wasn't sure but was offered to take something else, so I had the egg mayo and sun-dried tomato roll instead. The egg mayo roll was average, lots of mayo, so you couldn't taste the sun-dried tomatoes much Overall the food is fine, but don't quite get the hype. It might also be helping having a line about the sausage roll being pink inside, on the card somewhere. The staff's reaction seemed like I wasn't the first person to ask for a refund / exchange!

A lovely place down a properly nice redbrick London backstreet with a Granada V6 parked outside! Good luck with that in ULEZ! BEWARE DOUGHNUTS AND BEIGNETS COME OUT AT 11!! I misjudged that one badly and came away something nice but not quite what I wanted! Morning buns, pastries were gorgeous, but the chocolate cake was a bit supermarket-like. Queue outside, so expect a few mins wait! It's worth a visit AROUND 11am😁 There was a queue

I went there because I was told it was the best bakery in London, but it was just an ordinary bakery you could find anywhere. I don't understand why it's so popular and there are so many lines.

Fantastic bakery and coffee shop. Wide variety of unusual pastries and drinks, both hot and cold. It's incredibly popular however the queue moves quickly. Staff are very friendly also.

I stumbled upon this bakery by chance, and everything looked amazing — I wanted to try it all ! I went for the mortadella focaccia (my weakness!). The bread was a bit on the greasy side, the veggie and cream cheese filling was tasty… but the mortadella? Bland, lacking that smooth, rich flavor I was hoping for. A letdown for the star ingredient.

All the food is phenomenal and deserves all of the hype it gets. Plus the staff are extremely kind, and the bakehouse is in a cute location, though the coffee always tastes burnt which is such a shame. I try it every now and then to see if it changes, alas not! Friends amd colleagues in the area agree. The place to go for food but perhaps elsewhere for the coffee :(

Was here today specifically for their Beignet, but ended up liking the fermented chocolate brownie a lot more! Despite being mid week there was a long queue although I reached at 11.05 (Beignets are brought out at 11 am!). Managed to get the Beignet for the day - Tiramisu. While the cream filling was light, airy and not to sweet, the donut (outer layer) was a bit stretchy. Was not sure if it was worth the hype. But I absolutely loved their fermented chocolate brownie - rich, dense and absolutely decadent! 😃 The staff is friendly, service is quick, there are a few benches outside to sit but since it's not a covered seating space, there were a few pigeons around. Overall would recommend to go for the brownies!

For me personally the beignet was a big disappointment (maybe it is just the filling that we had). On the other hand I saw a lot of people enjoying it. I also tried the baguette which was very simple and tasty. I will definitely try it again, maybe next time I will have a different filling.

The cinnamon bun was sensational! Probably one of the best desserts I’ve had (I eat a looooot of desserts lol). The coffee was very good too. Loved it so much that I ordered the exact same thing again :D

A very cozy and homely café, that seems to be well attended by repeat customers and the local community. The menu is relatively expansive with plenty of paninis and brunches, as well as fruit bowls. The drink offer is pretty boilerplate, which is not a bad thing, not all places need to go crazy in that department. I ordered the fruit and yoghurt bowl and despite it being quite nice, I found it a bit small and lackluster for its price tag. There are plenty of amenities such as books that you can buy and it boasts a gorgeous front window from ceiling to floor.
