Booked back in October for the festive lunch with a group of friends. Drinks on arrival didn’t turn up to the table for a good 45 minutes after then only 2 came, eventually the others came with the hot drinks, followed by the children’s food. The restaurant was relatively busy upon arrival and the staff were busy, and table not ready. The food came out, it looked lovely but in all honesty for £27 it wasn’t that nice, we had 3 sandwich fingers with festive fillings, 2 scones one plain, one cranberry and a selection of mini cakes that all tasted of mince pies (they did look good though) The restaurant it self was beautifully decorated with a lovely atmosphere and was warm (a little too warm for me but the staff did open the door for us, which was nice.) I’m not sure I’d return as although the atmosphere and staff were lovely, I had to get up to ask for drinks, spoons for deserts and even get my own menu and the wait was long as the restaurant went quiet before our food came out which was all cold anyway, so not sure on why the wait.

Having expanded I fear Blooms has lost its charm a little bit sadly. We have visited before and loved the quirky cabin and bus, but now the main area feels like a normal hotel function room. The room was also incredibly warm which made us desperate to leave at the end. The food is great as always, however the food arrived before our drinks (two cokes). We found the service a little slow also, I appreciate there was a function on at the same time. Would recommend on food quality but not for atmosphere/service.

We had a great festive afternoon tea on the blooms bus. The food was fresh and delicious. We had Prosecco to start and refills on hot drinks. The place is clean and the staff welcoming. This really is a gem of a place.

A wonderful find. I was looking for somewhere to take my best friend for a birthday afternoon tea and was recommended this place. I am so glad we tried it. Possibly the nicest staff I have ever been served by. They were professional, funny and supportive of my pure excitement over unlimited hot chocolate (I've never experienced this before as I hate tea and coffee). One fabulous member of staff sang happy birthday to my friend which was hilarious. The afternoon tea was fresh and lots of things to choose from. The only thing I'd change is making your scones bigger, because I love scones and there was definitely enough cream and jam for a full sized scone. Would definitely go back and highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I'd been looking forward to visiting Blooms, but I'm sorry to say it was disappointing, and I'm glad I hadn't recommended it as a place to meet with friends. The outside seating area and toilet need a good tidy up and clean, and the staff were disinterested. The pizza was good, but the wine and beer were warm and served in dirty glasses.

Very disappointed as we had looked forward to meeting up here.. not many people there but still took an hour and a quarter to get our food. When it arrived it was very overcooked and the bacon was burnt. No staff came to see how things were or to see if we wanted another drink and as we were made to pay when we gave our order even though it was table service there was no one around to even complain to. Its put all of us off returning

Summer Afternoon Tea is just delicious! Definitely looks and tastes totally homemade, and is definitely value for money. The service is brilliant, attentive but not intrusive and eating in the bus is a treat. What a lovely place.

The banana bread, served warm with fruit, yogurt and maple syrup was delicious. My husband really enjoyed his English Breakfast. The owner and staff were friendly and attentive, finding us a table even though they were busy. The cafe had a lovely buzz, and additional seating in a refurbed bus is a fun touch. Very dog friendly too. Highly recommend!

2nd visit to this quirky eatery. Warmly greeted & served with the same friendliness..👍 & we were just in time ( actually 5 minutes after the kitchen had closed), but not a problem 😊👍👍. 2 wholesome & 😋😋 toasties later & we went on our way feeling replete.. A deservedly popular place..😊😊

Having previously had a good experience, my 90 year old mum and I went for lunch. We ordered prawn salads with falafel and humus from the menu. The last two items were missing on our plates, but when queried we were told that nobody ordered those so they didn't have any! We asked for an alternative and were given half a slice of bread each! I then found a hair in my salad, but when I reported this, I was told that the kitchen staff had dark hair so it wasn't theirs! I was too stunned to reply! Then I was told we couldn't expect a refund, because the hair wasn't theirs. I explained we didn't want a refund, just an apology. Never again!

Lovely service with a smile. Good coffee. I also bought some homemade cake for £1 and the money from that goes to charity. Will be back again!

Popped in a few times for breakfast, drinks and ice creams. Perfectly situated for stopping off on walks up and down the beach, reasonably priced, and a friendly welcoming service. Would recommend!

Facing the church in the center of town, this is a friendly local with a reasonable selection of well kept ales from Fuller's with a guest sometimes. Several lagers and ciders also on tap. Food served lunchtimes. Garden / smoking area to the rear. Sports on the telly, music / disco on occasional weekends.
