It felt cold and uninviting. The staff were not friendly and there were buggies blocking the entrance. Could do with some comfy seating or more sofas as well.

Dropped in for an impromptu lunch for two. Great food, drink and atmosphere. I had the London Fog with oat milk and the Ay Up Me Dukkah grilled sandwich, which I highly recommend.

Busy cafe. Was nice to sit and chat surrounded by the young and hip people of Nottingham. Watching the skaters and drinking trendy, slightly nasty coffee. Caves were good as were the cheesy sandwiches. Enjoyed them and the drinks and the atmosphere. Little jealous I am not young again.

Nice coffee and cake with a good atmosphere

Truly one of the best brunch places in Nottingham, great coffee, great toasties and sweet treats, extensive drinks menu with all the alternative choices you'd need. I do really enjoy the toasties but, and I find this hard to say, could do with maybe a little bit of health on the side as my arteries slightly harden when the oozing, toasty cheese arrives, but then that's my choice I guess. Atmosphere is pretty buzzy and friendly, but be warned be on your toes at the weekend or be happy sharing table space and make new friends!

Lovely chill venue with lots of natural light as it has roof windows and is on the corner of the market. Loads of vegan options. Everything under Herbivore can be made vegan. I paid £8 for a grilled vegan cheese sandwich with celeriac and sweet Apple chutney. They have loads of vegan cakes, drinks and even a soy roll. Grab a table, check the menu, go up to order (tell them your table number). Collect drinks, food is delivered to the table. AF on the menu basically means vegan. AFO means can be made vegan. Everything is made in the same kitchen though.

Extremely excellent independent coffee shop in the heart of the Sneinton 'lanes'

It’s very unfriendly service the quality of the coffee it’s CHANGE dramatically and the coffee cup it’s TWICE smaller than Before I’m sure all people notice all negative changes and very soon they supposed to realise that mistake if not it will left with very less customers it’s completely up to them, everything it’s business but not everting it’s money.

Great place to eat, went yesterday afternoon with my wife and small dog and popped in for some Brunch, my first time there but my wife suggested this place as she has been before with friends. Fantastic Ham/Cheese and Chilli jam grilled sandwich with Matcha tea. It is a very chilled place with students and families. Sneinton has changed a lot around the Market over the years for the better, and feels a safer place to walk around. Loved all the friendly skater boarders using the market.

Lovely coffee and pastry’s were just out of the oven. Nice relaxed vibe for our visit to the city of caves. Plenty of space too.

Blend is always a delight to visit! All their drinks are delicious, especially the Turmeric Latte. The one thing I will say is that I wouldn't visit this particular location on a weekend because it was RAMMED. If you're visiting on a Saturday, consider going to the location down by Nottingham College instead.

Now my go to coffee and breakfast place to frequent. Indulged in breakfast a few times now. All cooked fresh and to order. Staff are helpful and friendly. The place has a great vibe and is away from the city centre regular haunts.

We stumbled upon blend while exploring Nottingham city. It was always really busy and felt we had to give it a go while in Nottingham. It absolute did not disappoint! The service was friendly, the atmosphere really had a ‘feel good’ vibe and the toasty was to die for, absolutely delicious. We loved it. Could not recommend it more highly!

Very disappointed when my friend treated us to lunch after a walk/wheelchair ride around the galleries in NCA. We were served a sandwich each with plain crisps on the side. The sourdough bread was almost inedible and tasted stale. The filling was beetroot, some rocket and 2 strips of vegan cheese. For this they charged nearly £8! We complained to a waiter who admitted he'd had a similar difficulty trying to eat the same snack in his half hour lunch break. We opted for soup as replacement. It was leek and potato. Unfortunately this too was almost impossible to eat due to the amount of black pepper which had been added before serving. At least our complimentary drinks were acceptable!

Awful - rude, surly staff who got my order wrong twice because they weren’t paying attention and rolled their eyes and visibly looked annoyed when I politely said, “Sorry I asked for such and such, not this.” The pastries were extremely stale and literally inedible - there’s no way they were fresh that day. I’ll eat almost anything we had to throw all the pastries in the bin because they tasted like they’d been sitting under a heat lamp for a week.

Great atmosphere and fun vibes, this is the perfect spot for a tasty lunch. The grilled cheese sandwiches are amaaaaaazing! And I loved their lemonade with guava. The customer service was truly impressive. There was a slight hiccup with my friend’s order; the team replaced the meal and gave my friend a fully stamped loyalty card for a free drink. Lovely people who care deeply about tasty grub and friendly service. Don’t miss it.

I love this cafe. Best grilled cheese in Nottingham. They are pricey, but you get what you pay for 100%. I sometimes treat myself after a steam room session at the Victoria leisure centre. It helps having it so close 🤭 it’s very busy during the weekend though and queues can get long in a matter of seconds… food can take a while, but worth waiting.

Been coming here for years now, always loved the place and will always recommend it, for either a coffee or a meal!

Best coffee place in Nottingham

Nice coffee, nice food but the service has really taken a downward spiral, it is so slow these days. We don't expect or want fast food, but to wait almost fifteen minutes for two Americanos is excessive. There seem to be too many staff buzzing around rather than having one concentrating on making coffee. Hope it improves again as it used to be good.

Great portion sizes with a nice decor situated in Sneinton Market. Staff member was really pleasant to work with.

Amazing coffee and soy roll. Bingo, great work there. However, condescending staff at the counter not so great, horrible in fact. Rude children don't make good staff in coffee shops and cafes. So a big thumbs up for your coffee and food. The staff absolutely suck. I forgive you though.

Been to the cafe in Nottingham Contemporary Arts, but yesterday went yo the one in Sneinton Market. This is a great place to sit and chill with a coffee and pastry (there is a wide range for all). We sat in the extensive outdoor area in the sunshine. Seems like a good place for dog owners too .

Excellent place to stop for a well deserved coffee and cake. Situated in the unique Sneinton Mkt, walking distance from the city centre. Offers a range of coffees and teas plus plenty mouthwatering choices of cakes, snacks and lunches. Plenty seati g both indoors and outdoors undisturbed by traffic due to its unique location. Ideal for various dietary needs including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. Well worth a visit.

A very cute cafe! Love the decor and brightness of the place, staff are super friendly, food and drink are tasty (the food also has some great names), and there was a fab playlist too! What more could you want from a breakfast/lunch spot?

Blend coffee shop hosted my 21st with plenty of stock in the bar and amazing staff would definitely recommend hiring out this amazing looking venue. Management was top tier and made it very easy to organise.

I have been a few times to the East/West venue for Blend in Nottingham which is beautifully fitted out. Coffee is great and some of the food items too but it just needs to do a few bits better. Bacon ised in the bacon rolls ( or “cobs” locally) is fatty and looks even more unappetising cold in the display cabinet. Similarly the sausage cob. Luckily the egg/ cheese / tomato bagel is nice otherwise I’d probably not bother with food. Needs a bit more breakfast choice (but not too much). Finally if sitting in it’d be much nicer if food/ drink could be brought to table rather than having to hang around and “hovver” near the counter. Will still keep coming but hopefully these tweaks will help perfect things!:-)

I dropped in for a large Americano coffee, and it was terrific. Sat outside on a sunny afternoon to drink it. A richly flavoured, smoky blend, and served hot. The cafe is in a plain building, repurposed from its days as a functional market shed. Blend have artily jazzed the sizeable space up with a blue floor and a sixties-style primary-colours vibe. * I liked it so much I went back for lunch a few days later. Big mistake. I ordered some kind of surdough-and-bacon thing. Basically it was bacon rashers on surdough bread--but it was all soaked in some kind of sweet water. I ate the bacon, which was dripping with the unpleasant sugary liquid, But couldn't eat the soggy sourdough bread. To be fair, my problem with this meal could be just down to me. Maybe someone else might like it. I hadn't planned to eat anything else. But because all I'd eaten was bits of bacon, I decided to follow up with a cinnamon bun and pot of tea. But I couldn't eat the bun either, as it was extremely dry and hard. To be honest, it tasted stale. Can't believe Blend would consciously serve stale buns, so maybe something had gone wrong in its baking, or in its storage labelling? This time, it wasn't just me, because no one would've eaten that thing. A strange experience indeed, since I can't remember being served an inedible bun, cake, or pastry anywhere--including in chain franchises. Only saving grace was the pot of tea, which was excellent. So I'd drink at Blend again but not eat.

We dropped in for a coffee and a quick bite to eat. The croissant with Parma ham and cheese you could’ve knocked a nail in with it it was so dry and hard. The cheese was like a cracker and not soft cheese. The coffee was ok at best overall not a pleasant visit

Visited a temp xmas set up called Blend at Woodthorpe (park). Staff were beyond rude when they got our order wrong accusing US of being wrong & laughing at our explanation (serious health reasons). I am not sure what (Easter European??) nationality the blonde girl is but she Really Needs to learn some customer service and downright politeness. Whoever owns this business needs to pay it a regular visit & give themselves & their staff a serious talking to. Prices & products steep & basic at this off site event. Permanent site trying to be trendy but basically agree with the other comments. Looks good, trendy furniture etc but in reality is practically lacking & uncomfortable. They have different serious competion nearby in some very good longer standing cafes. They should learn from them.

'Blend' is a favourite haunt of my son's and recently I have been visiting there with him. What a lovely place. The coffee is great - sometimes you have to wait for it, but it's worth waiting for. The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming, even when it's busy. My only reluctance in giving a good review, is that it might get even busier!

this is my regular cafe goto and for very good reason. while i don’t have the amazing grilled cheese sandwiches that often (which really help blend stand out from the crowd of notts independents), it’s a beautiful light filled space with wonderful coffee roasted about as locally as you can get (right next door in fact) at a reasonable price. for £4.80 you can get a hot drink and a generous slice of delicious home made cake which i usually indulge in, with any milk you fancy for no extra charge. another bonus for dog owners and lovers alike is the fact they welcome dogs so it’s a great place to enjoy a drink with your pooch - to the delight of other patrons including myself...

Chose to go to Blend for a spot of lunch and a warming drink. We arrived with high hopes and good recommendations. The interior is great - bright and cosy. Unfortunately, there was no space for us to sit inside so we sat in the outside Sneinton market space. We weren't greeted on arrival and had to look around for menus. Once we had the menu, we found it rather limited, and had to go back inside to find out about the specials (mentioned on the menu) only to find out there weren't any. After finally making our choice, our ordering experience was poor. The gentlemen who served us on the counter wasn't very friendly and seemed to find it a chore to serve us. We ordered 2 toasties and a turmeric latte. All items took a while to arrive and weren't exactly served enthusiastically. The turmeric latte wasn't hot enough. The toasties were very nice, however, for the price we would have expected a side of salad or crisps maybe.We discussed whether we should get a sweet at Blend or go somewhere else due to this first disappointment, but decided to persevere. The same guy was equally disinterested this time around, and somehow made ordering 2 slices of cake and another turmeric latte a fairly difficult task. On top of this, we thought the slices of cake were overpriced for what they were, although tasty. Moreover, the turmeric latte was not made to a high standard this time.Overall, we were disappointed with how the experience lived up to our expectations. Having said that, we did sit and relax on the comfy sofas for a good hour after finishing our lunch. A nice enough place with good food that just needs a bit of polishing around customer service and variety of choice.

This is a cool little spot in Sneinton market. Seems to be the centre of all the area and where most people gather in and around.Staff are friendly and laid back - which I think is good for a coffee shop. The grilled cheese sandwiches are insane, so tasty. Please try the Kevin Baconator they are a little pricey, but I would say worth it for a treat now and again.Lovely bright and open space, well designed and thought out.Enjoy!!

Visited the café for the first time and am so pleased to have found it. The coffee and cakes are delicious - the food on offer is freshly prepared and the coffee is locally produced. The café is based in Sneinton Market, a vibrant part of the city, with a huge investment recently provided towards bringing in independent companies, including cafés, designers, chocolate makers, to name a few. Plenty of seating is available inside, plus a large area outside including a giant chess board! On Fridays an outdoor bar is open in this section which continues into the evening. Well worth a visit.

I sometimes come here for a takeaway coffee but recently I have noticed poor service especially with pushy selling. Ordered an Americano and straight away tried to push sell me into buying a filter coffee instead?! Same price but because of her pushy nature maybe there are better margins for the filter coffee? A very small chocolate bar with 4 small slabs is £3.50 I understand it’s won awards but that’s ridiculous. Checked the chocolate makers website and a bar is £2.50 the chocolate is very good but I’m guessing that blend is pocketing the £1 for themselves?

Very clean modern cafe nice atmosphere & decor bang in the old Sneinton Market, comfy seating indoor & outdoor, the 2 x coffee £5 was excellent roasted just behind the till & the food looked delicious, free WiFi very fast.

Went her as saw website abd menu looked interesting. Set in the old Sneinton market, this is quite a stylish but relaxed place to eat. The toasted sandwiches are really tasty,the staff are friendly and service was quick. Highly recommend especially for brunch.

I visited on a saturday with friends and it was quite busy, we got some drinks before ordering our dinner - mainly as there were many parties of one taking up a table for four or more!

The environment inside is lovely, lovely big airy windows and a lovely open space. Good for families, friends and business and being on your own. Dog friendly as well! There are ceiling windows as well so you can lay back on a sofa and stair up into the sky whilst you have a lovely hot drink. The service is nice as they bring everything over to your table once you have ordered at the counter. Really nice hot chocolate and grilled cheese. I recommend the coffee heart biscuits! They're super yummy. They are also baked by the same lady that makes the cakes.

So close to Victoria baths. Great place to spend a swim session wait! Lovely selection of cakes. Plenty of seating. Loved the basket of blankets.
