The board on the quay states 'open every day'. A trek uphill to their shop revealed a sign on the door 'closed Monday and Tuesday'. A case of misleading information - as they can't be bothered, they shall not get any of my patronage.

Omg spotted the board on the quay and a very short walk up the high street got the most delicious takeaway lunch and coffee. The quiche was to die for, simply the best quiche I have ever eaten (salmon & wilted spinach and the other half had a cheese and ham, equally yummy) quality ingredients to be sure. Potato salad very nice and other salads looked tempting too. Felt sad we didn’t have the car with us as the homemade frozen ready meals looked equally divine. Would definitely go back!

Prior to visiting Blakeney today for a long walk, I had researched what food establishments were available and noticed the delicatessen and that the reviews were very good. We visited around late afternoon and received a friendly welcome. We purchased two of the homemade sausage rolls. They were large, contained a large proportion of meat filling and were extremely tasty. We also bought a slice of apple and custard danish, which was also excellent - a good balance of flavours and the sweetness was just right. We sadly missed out on the baguettes, due to the time of day, but we will certainly be returning to try one. They also had a good selection of items to buy such as local ground coffee, tea, cakes and cheeses. I would certainly recommend visiting the deli when in Blakeney.

The two ladies who have recently taken over this long established favorite are an asset to the village. Blakeney can become a bit of a West London on sea in holiday season so it's great to see two people who are genuinely local creating such a good offering for residents and visitors alike. We'd had the misfortune to be staying in the filthy holiday rental next door to the right of the deli (avoid the blue bay windowed 30a) but each day the staff at the deli cheered us up with some great treats. Don't expect a huge range but everything there is is quality - be it the coffee or the quiche. We can recommend their sausage rolls and their rocky road too! Even if you don't want a coffee or need snack we'd recommend walking up the high street just to see what they have going on!

Perfect! Local produce, local management, local customers! As a FULL TIME, PERMANENT resident of Blakeney it is so nice to be able to pop to the Deli daily, and see the smiles on the girls faces as they work away in their thriving new business! Blakeney is being over taken by NON locals so to have the Deli in the capable hands of locals is lovely to see!! The food is amazing, fantastic selection of great produce and homemade treats. The sausage rolls are amazing!! The new decor is beautiful and I wish you every success in your venture!

Visited this shop yesterday and greeted the lady reading her book (who looked at me as if I was a nuisance as she had to out her book down) with "it's very quiet in here" to which she replied "Just how I like it" which made me feel even less welcome. My husband, who has terminal lung cancer and was waiting outside the shop with our dogs, pulled out what looked like a seat to rest on and she flew out of the shop and started shouting at him as it was in fact a display stand that wasn't in use. She was very rude.If this woman is an employee she should be sacked and if it's the proprietor then she really needs to change her attitude. The expensive sausage rolls were horrible and we threw them in the bin.Save your day from being ruined and don't go here!

I wouldn't say it's my favourite Deli ever but it certainly does the job for picnics and the odd bottle of alcohol. It's got a lovely range of goods but I feel it's fairly limited in stock. £10 pound card charge is irritating but not too bad considering you'll likely spend that much on various things anyway. Owners always very friendly and helpful and like to take control of the purchase.

It looks lovely form the outside and indeed just as nice in the inside. However if you’re visiting and expecting friendly service it’s best to avoid this shop and instead head to the Spa. Our experience was consistent with many other reviews on here - although the lady on the till tried to be helpful, the person who seemed to be in charge was not only utterly uninterested but was positively unhelpful and rude. Also they have an archaic rule about having to spend £10 for contactless or card purchases.

Nice little deli but definitely on the expensive side - if you're stocking up for supplies while on holiday, head for the Spar on Westgate, but if you want home made meals, local draft beers, daily fresh bread and pastries and foodie gifts - then it's fine. Recommend that you order your bread and morning pastries the day before if you want to be sure of getting them, otherwise you may need to arrive when they open at 8.30am!

I have previously used the deli for coffee and snacks (their treacle tart was excellent) but things have changed. The lady serving was grumpy and unhelpful from the outset (e.g. I asked what coffee they were serving, and she just gestered over to the shelf and said 'one of those'). I had my credit card in my hand and before I'd even started putting things on the counter she barked about the minimum card amount. But most importantly, the old staff knew how to make coffee; the one I received on this visit was so bad I ended up tipping half of it away. Disappointing.

I’ve visited the deli on two occasions over the summer whilst staying in Blakeney and although the staff are friendly it’s very overpriced. There is a certain pleasure to be had from walking up the road to collect croissants for breakfast but they are really not worth the inflated price tag. This weekend were at least cooked but the ones I had earlier in the summer were very much under done. The sausage rolls are tasty enough but not in anyway the best in East Anglia as they describe, and again the price was inflated. I am afraid I won’t be using them again.

My Son and I were just about to make our breakfast one Saturday morning when I realised I had forgot Bread and Milk on our previous nights' trip to the supermarket. Never mind I thought the Deli is just around the corner. So we got our shoes on and popped down there. Grabbed both the Milk and loaf of Bread and placed them on the counter. Brilliant i though, holding my contactless card ready looking forward to getting back pronto and getting our breakfast underway. The lady behind the counter punched the items into the till and looked up and told me the total but then proceeded to tell me "you can't pay with 'that' because there is a minimum spend of £10..." I told her that "we only needed those to items thanks and didn't have any cash on me i'm afraid." At this point I had my 3 year old son tugging on my leg asking when we were going back home to have breakfast! So long story short, we were forced to go back home, get in the car and travel to the supermarket. All because of Blakeney Deli's greed. Thank you very much, so much for convenience! I hope you are happy that you have avoided paying the huge 0.4-0.9% charge to your card machine supplier. Funny how nearly every other establishment has caught up with the times and scrapped the minimum charge as an effort to offer a convenient and quick service to the customer. We got our breakfast in the end and won't bother you again.

Went to this deli this morning, shop had a big silver fridge which was empty . On a board outside fresh croissants, sausage rolls and lots of other things ,the board was obviously still on the wall from the summer months!!!!!!!! fresh being the operative word but perhaps not if you want a fresh loaf of bread. Purchased a small seeded loaf which was put into a paper bag , the COST £3.40, don’t mind paying for a nice fresh local loaf whilst away for a few days . Back at the cottage put the knife in to cut a nice slice , so hard !!!!! Went straight into the bin , baked last Tuesday fortnight I should think . Why does a shop open in the colder months when they can’t produce the goods , shop was nearly empty anyway . Just close the door until the warmer months so people like me doesn’t get ripped off !!!! How they were awarded the trip adviser 2017 I shall never know your establishment should be 100% all year round

Very expensive produce with a disappointing selection and slow service - quite a let down after all the good write ups it had.

Blakeney deli has a wonderful selection of freshly made bread, cakes and pies. The owner is really friendly and happy to tell you about what's cooking in the kitchen as well as chat about the weather. We tried the banana and chocolate chip cake which was nothing short of heavenly! Not to be missed if you're in the area.

Looks just like a ordinary corner shop from the outside but a foodies heaven inside! The more you look the more you find!

Called in Today for a quick snack & drink as we have been here several times in the past. Unfortunately it was not quite the same as it was a couple of years ago. One member of staff was not as customer friendly as she could have been. Food was less than average. Sorry but we won't be returning

This is the second visit to the pub- after the annual Land Rover rally for the Norfolk firefighters charity. The first time we visited was just for drinks, this time we had a meal- a roast dinner in my case. We hadn’t booked and were very pleased with the service, the lady behind the bar took our orders promptly and was very helpful with the children’s menu. Food was served quickly and was delicious, proper “pub grub” The atmosphere was very pleasant too, it was a dark, wet November night and upon entering you’re greeted by an open fire, cozy bar and cozy restaurant. Will definitely be returning- more than once a year!

Best iced coffee ever! A regular here, staff always helpful and polite. Place is always clean and tidy. Food is always freshly cooked. Dogs always welcomed with a bowl of fresh water and a butcher's sausage. Today after a stressful morning I needed a nice friendly place to go. No brainer! Megs and an iced coffee, all is right again with the world. Thanks Thomaz
