Had a lovely roast beef dinner today. Very friendly family run cafe. Food was very good. Roast was great, had fresh veg and two types of potato

I asked them about allergies and the sausage specifically. the young guy insisted repeatedly (i asked 4 times. im ocd)... its GF. my daughter and I were ill after.

This is my favourite cafe to go! I have been going here for 10 years and it’s my go to place for the perfect breakfast. Staff are always so welcoming and helpful and nothing is too much for them. Cannot fault them at all. Always a friendly smile and face. Highly recommended to everyone

We have used the cafe for years, I have a breakfast no matter the time. You can if you ask nicely swap things if they're not too busy, like tomatoes instead of beans.

Absolutely lovely food and service. Young lady was friendly and always cleaning as soon as anyone left. Place is spotless and very very friendly. We had full English breakfast and people around us had full roast dinner. Food was great and staff/owners helpful. Will definitely be returning when we visit. Family that live here said they will be back.

Visited for a breakfast with the wife. Overall good but they need to change their sausages as they are disgusting, really cheap and taste horrible, even worse as they are recooked. Noticed prices have gone uo too.

Popped in for breakfast with my 3-month-old baby. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, opening the door for the pram and fussing over my sproglet. Food was quick, piping hot, and very tasty. Presentation was really nice for a standard cafe too! Like the bubble and squeak option, and worth going just for the orange juice- very fresh!

Stopped by here for breakfast. Clean cafe ,varied menu plus a daily special on the chalk board.Very good friendly service. The food was tasty and well cooked. On the 16 bus route on Black bull road.

Visited for brunch recently. Omelette and chips was delicious. Freshly cooked (none of that pre-packed chuck it in the microwave rubbish). Latte was hot and just right. Cafe is very clean - staff were clearing tables immediately they were vacated and the staff are very cheerful and friendly. It's a bit out of the way but well worth a visit for a good simple meal.

My friend and I decided to have a light lunch here, he had a prawn baguette and latte and I had a cheeseburger and chips and coffee. Prices were reasonable and service quick. The guy who served us was friendly and the atmosphere was nice.

Been here a few rimes for brunch with friends, couldn’t name a bad thing about this café, food is excellent, staff are friendly and the café is always clean and tidy.

We have had breakfast here many times. The food is consistently fresh,tasty and hot. The service is very friendly,the tables are clean.The only downside is it’s sometimes cold as the cafe is very small and the door is often open.

Para empezar, te dan la bienvenida a una de las personas más agradables que jamás conocerás, y luego tienes la corta espera hasta que llega su deliciosa comida. Nunca he tenido una mala experiencia y continuará a elegir este Café como mi primera opción. Buena relación calidad-precio, muy generosas raciones, y el tocino es para morirse. Yo recomendaría la serie 2 como variedad de ingredientes es excepcional, y se obtiene un té o café, así como unas tostadas.

Tenía un desayuno inglés, el servicio era fantástico. Ambiente muy educado y amable. Es una pena que dan un 2 estrellas, pero la crítica en el desayuno eran ingredientes baratos y desagradable, sobre todo las salchichas! 7. Pagamos eurgh. 50 por ella, por ese precio debería tener mejor calidad.

Been here several times and am never disappointed. Food is nicely cooked, not too greasy, the servers are friendly and always happy to see the customer and it is great value for money. Simple really!

I am fortunate in having to have to visit Folkestone every week or so. Folkestone is not the nicest place to have to travel to but this little gem more than makes up for it. My bacon and egg sandwich is always made in exactly the same way, and in my opinion is perfect. Staff are pleasant and always welcoming and the prices are more than reasonable. Always enjoy my visit, looking forward to my next one already.

Well there is no atmosphere and the staff give a basic service, not much more to say really expect the food is okay and you get what you pay for.. not the worst place in Folkestone.

Great Little Cafe. On a recent visit to Folkestone I was looking for something to eat and spotted this place as it sits on a corner and looks quite nice from the road. The first thing I liked was the fact that they have a Menu in the window for you to have a look at, I know this is a simple thing but why can't everywhere do this as it saves having to go in and ask? We were looking for Veggie food and their choice of Veggie breakfasts did not disappoint us. The food was good, reasonably priced and served quite quickly by friendly staff, although it would help if it was made clear if the tables are waited, as you feel a bit silly waiting at the table to be served only to discover that you have to go to the counter and ask for what you want. Also paying for the food at the time of ordering makes it difficult to leave a gratuity which the meal definitely warranted, and a choice of toast instead of buttered bread would be nice, but they're just minor gripes. Inside the Cafe could do with a bit of TLC in places but it is spotlessly clean. I would recommend this place to others, especially if your a Vegetarian and want a good breakfast:-)

This cafe is on a corner plot and on a busy road in not the best part of town! That aside, the airy cafe is large and clean and the staff friendly and polite and the menu is varied and well-priced. There is a menu in the front window too which is helpful. I chose an all-day breakfast which was served quickly and the mushrooms, hash-browns and bubble were well-cooked, although maybe the sausages need to be changed to a different brand i.e. ones that do not split at each end. The tea drink was good too. A nice café.

Nothing worse than waking up and wanting a decent breakfast that's not going to cost you a bomb this is great kids loved it! And fresh non greasy yum

Husband and I ended up having brekkie here and what lovely food, great service so nice and friendly.what a lovely clean cafe!! And fab prices! yummmmy poached eggs and toast and hubby loves his full brekkie. Give it a go!

As a Folkestone driving instructor I know all the places to pop into for tea or a snack, but there is only one cafe that I take my wife to for a meal.That's the Blackbull cafe. Friendly staff with Hass on the counter and Yasar and Orhan running the kitchen to an excellent standard.The food is always fresh and hot and Hass will make sure you have everything you need. Yasar and Orhan will get the tasty food to youn as quickly as the busy cafe allows - cooked just the way you like it!The cafe is light and airy and spotlessly clean. The toilet is just as clean and you only have to ask Hass or one of the other fiendly staff to guide you to it just behind the cafe. Nothing is too much trouble and you'll always get a welcome here.Top marks in every category!

Have driven past many times but only visited for the first time this morning.Really impressed with the modern fresh layout and great value food. When I arrived the presentation was great and it tasted fantastic. I'm a fan of the full English and the Blackbull cafe has shot to the top of my favourites.

The Black Bull Cafe is a traditional 'working class' cafe with modern decor. It is usually packed with locals and tradesmen during the day. Spotlessly clean. The food is cheap, well cooked and plentiful. The 5 set All Day Breakfast dishes are massive. The staff and service are exceptional, they will even tell you to sit down and bring a mug of coffee to your table. Probably the best of its type in Folkestone. Downsides are the Black Bull Road is one of the busiest in Folkestone. Parking is on street and limited. Do not be tempted to park in restricted zones as the Parking Wardens will ticket you in seconds. No customer washroom.

I first went to the Blackbull cafe 5 years ago for a hangover cure.. 5 years later I still go in almost everyday. Its not only the great quality of food, the huge portions, the value for money or the perfect coffee. The whole team who run the cafe are always more than friendly and make you feel comfortable and welcome. All round a wonderful place to eat on the corner of one of Folkestone's busiest roads.

As far as cafes go in Folkestone there all pretty wack, i used to avoid this place as felt it was unclean but after a recent visit my opinon has changed, the food was average but at least the place was clean :)

We go to this cafe for a hangover breakfast every month or so and I can't fault it!There is a large selection on the menu and the coffee is delicious. The place is spotlessly clean and the staff are friendly and efficient. You never have to wait long for your order no matter how busy they are. They supply highchairs too.It's on the main road but there is ample parking on the road that goes behind it.
