Black Pine Coffee Co. in Glasgow City

Habíamos oído mucho sobre este café y decidimos comprobarlo. Solo había planeado tomar café, pero también un brownie de café. Mi compañero tenía la rubia. El brownie era magnífico y por eso pedimos otro para compartir. Era muy húmedo y fresco con ingredientes de calidad. Sabía como si hubiera sido horneado ese día. Si te gusta el pastel, deberías venir aquí. Volveremos.

He sido habitual aquí desde que Black Pine abrió hace siete años, apareciendo al menos una vez por semana, y a veces con más frecuencia. Sobre todo vengo solo, pero también he presentado amigos y familiares. Mi experiencia tanto del café como del servicio siempre ha sido extremadamente positiva. Pete y el equipo han logrado crear un ambiente elegante y relajado. Son un lote amable, y como nada mejor que un poco de backchat al mismo tiempo que sirven la mejor taza de café de la zona. Y soy MUY quisquilloso con mi café... Les bromeo diciendo que solo vengo por la lista de reproducción, pero eso simplemente no es cierto. El lugar es acogedor, el café es genial, y la gente es inteligente y divertida, además de ser buenos en sus trabajos. Chicos, ¿dónde está mi café gratis?

Easily the best coffee in Glasgow. Actually, the best, most coffee-y coffee I've ever had. My partner is a coffee aficionado and we are always on a mission to get a great cup of coffee on our travels and at home, and this is a place we can heartily recommend.

Popped in with my wife for a take away coffee. The place was dog friendly so we went inside to order a take away late each. The server was very friendly. The coffee was excellent. It was one of the best tasking coffees I have had in ages so next time I am in the area I will go back. They have changed to being open all days.

Great coffee, excellent cookies and a chilled atmosphere. Definitely be back! I used to go to Cottonrake but their coffee has went downhill.

Service is amazing and quick but the coffee is the real wonder. The only coffee I've had better was in a boutique tea room in kyoto, japan. In the UK however- this coffee shop is the winner. Amazing, smooth and has a nice depth. Keep up the good work team!

Easily the best coffee I’ve ever had anywhere. Anyone who doesn’t rate this as the best coffee in Glasgow doesn’t know coffee. I won’t compare it to the others and speak ill of any other coffee places but trust me this is the best you’ll get anywhere in the city. Thank me later!

Boyfriend and i have made our mission to find the best cup of coffee in Glasgow. Have to say after months of meh coffee, we stumbled on Black Pine. Can i just say fantastic. Friendly staff and a great cup of coffee. Yet to find 1 to knock it off first place. 10/10!!

Dropped in for a coffee between house viewings. Really nice welcome and lovely service. Coffee was great. Nice decaf. Lovely spot to sit & check emails. Will go again. Love the anti decaf signage as well (see photo).

Not only is the coffee fantastic the staff are great fun. Cute, cosy and my staple for a number of years. Highly recommend iced oat latte. PS: Dog-friendly! and they get a wee treat :)

It was by chance that I spotted this lovely little coffee shop. The coffee was extraordinary and it had a very comforting ambiance to sit and sip a drink. My recommendation would be their cappuccino and mocha. *My only regret is I didn't know that this place existed near the place that I live. If I had known, I would surely visit Black Pine so often.

Love this little coffee shop. The coffee is great and the staff always take the time to have a bit of a chat. They are all skilled baristas so you have no chance of getting a burnt flat white and that machine... the coffee machine is an absolute beauty!

I popped into this cute little coffee shop for a coffee. A much needed caffeine boost. I asked the girl serving behind the counter for an extra hot coffee (this is simply just how i like my coffee). She then presents me with a luke warm coffee (despite me specifically asking her for an extra hot coffee). When i told her the coffee was just warm and not extra hot like i asked for. I didn't so much as get a 'I'm sorry about that', she just sulked and said she'd make another coffee for me. Then i felt very awkward as when she was making my second coffee she was banging things about (clearly annoyed with me for my complaint). I wasn't made to feel comfortable or relaxed. When she gave me the second coffee (which was much better and extra hot how i like it).. she simply said 'there you go' no apology, no smile. This is very poor customer service skills. I like to support small businesses and give them my custom. I just think a little bit of good manners go along way in business. Shame, as the coffee was really good and it was a nice little place.. just didn't feel made to feel welcome at all. Regards

At last, a coffee shop in the West End of Glasgow that offers excellent customer service. I have visited just about every coffee shop in the West End and in so many places the service is extremely poor. To get a smile is a rarity and any form of conversation seems to be frowned upon. I was beginning to think the art of customer service was dead but when I opened the door of the Black Pine I was greeted with a cheery hello. I was also thanked for my custom when I left which makes a refreshing change. The coffee was delicious and the cafe is nicely decorated and inviting. The prices are also very good. I am definitely going to go back and try some of their cakes as they looked amazing. This little café will now become my go-to when I’m on Great Western Road!
