Love visiting the Black Diamond, very friendly atmosphere and a great selection of drinks at reasonable prices. Landlord, landlady & staff are brilliant and keep the place immaculate. Highly recommended if you live local or are in the area.

Recommended to go by a friend (Greg B). Lovely place, football was on, locals was very friendly, well insulated, football on and free access to darts and pool, couldn't ask for much more on a Saturday. To top it off the place was nicely decorated and furnished, toilets very clean too. Definitely worth a stop off and will be returning.

The best place to go to for drinks, band was on, burger van also there and we stayed there all day! Couldn’t ask for a better place and service

This is a super friendly pub, very welcoming to people stopping in for a drink and using the local takeaways which happen to be just down the street. The landlord allowed us to park our 2.9 metre camper for the night and we had a few delicious pints.

Emily and Steven have done wonders with the pub. They're warm and welcoming and serve an excellent pint. Great to see the pub is now the heart of the community again with a fab atmosphere!

I moved to the village in February 2022, it took me a while to go in thier, however I’m glad I did. It’s a lovely pub, Iver and Andy who run it are genuine people, they care and make you feel welcome. It’s definitely worth a visit. Neil

Such a special place to us. Second home, not because of amount of time there but because of how you are made to feel. So welcoming and cosy. Brilliant friendly atmosphere, attended to for every need. Ivor and Andrea are such fabulous people, they can't do enough for you. The type of people that come in here, you can sit and chat to any table and enjoy your time here. Cannot recommend enough and you won't find a place like this for miles. Definitely worth a visit, guarantee you won't regret. Thank you for such a wonderful place to go x

Lovely pub with a great atmosphere and super friendly staff who go above and beyond to please their customers! I haven't lived in the area for long and instantly got a warm welcome and is now my go to local in the village, regular live events with some great bands playing its a 10/10 for me 🙂

this pub does not serve food but excellent service plenty of snacks to buy and fantastic service. Would highly recommend a visit .. clean tidy and well looked after .

What can I say, went to the black diamond with a few friends for a catch up, and from the first moment the environment was full of life! People were talking and laughing and the bar staff was super friendly. Made us feel very welcome. The drinks are reasonably priced, considering the situation everyone is in, the tables and seating area was all nice and clean. Not sticky like some other places you visit. Pool table and a couple of bandits to keep us busy when we wanted to get away from what was on the tv. Would definitely re-visit the Black Diamond next time we are back in Creswell and out for another catch up

We held a surprise 90th birthday party for my father-in-law with about 50 guests at the pub. It was a huge success. We were made to feel so welcome and looked after really well by Andrea and her team. The buffet was amazing value and included catering for vegetarian guests. I can highly recommend it for large family gatherings.

We recently had a family birthday party here. The level of service and communication was excellent right from the planning stages until the end of the event. Nothing was too much trouble. Andrea and Ivor were fantastic all through the process, dealing with last minute requests and changes, even sharing ideas about how we could make it extra special. On the day, the food was lovely and we were made to feel very welcome and cared for. We are so grateful for their help in making the day truly memorable.

The atmosphere at The Black Diamond is always fantastic. Ivor & Andrea are great landlords and always have a smile on their face. There is often an event taking place at a weekend, with either live music in the evening or charity event in the day time. The pub is family & dog friendly. Pool table & dart board available for use. All the sporting events are shown live on the screens. Just a great local pub!

Lovely warm and friendly pub. Great drinks and hospitable hosts. Plenty to do whether beer garden or indoors.

If you're in the area then the Black Diamond is worth visiting. The address is misleading for it's actually in Creswell. They serve a wide range of drinks, have pool and darts, and TVs in both room.

Friendly atmosphere, good range of drinks, dogs welcome - great for a chilled drink, and to socialise. Warm and welcoming. Great venue :-)

Old fashioned public houses are getting rarer by the day, so it's nice to find one that still fits that catagory. They offer pool, darts, live music, juke box and satalite television, good food, good drinks and pleasant staff.
